Our Commitment

TRT Provider Guide is committed to providing a website that can be used by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Clear health education should not depend on whether a reader uses a mouse, keyboard, touchscreen, screen reader, voice input, magnification, captions, or another assistive technology. We work to reduce avoidable barriers across our articles, comparison tables, navigation, forms, and interactive tools.

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We consider it during design, development, content creation, and site maintenance, and we welcome feedback from people who encounter barriers.

Scope of This Statement

This statement applies to the public pages, content, forms, and tools controlled by TRT Provider Guide on trtproviderguide.com.

It does not cover websites, patient portals, pharmacies, laboratories, payment systems, affiliate platforms, provider systems, documents, or other services operated by third parties. We may link to those services, but we do not control their code, content, or accessibility practices.

Our Accessibility Benchmark

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA, as our current reference point for designing, developing, reviewing, and improving content and functionality under our control.

WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium and provides testable criteria intended to make digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Current status: TRT Provider Guide is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have not obtained an independent accessibility certification or completed a formal site-wide conformance audit. We therefore do not represent that every page, feature, or third-party service fully conforms to WCAG 2.2, is “fully ADA compliant,” or is free of every possible accessibility barrier.

Our use of WCAG 2.2 Level AA is a working standard for continued improvement, not a certification badge.

What We Work to Support

Our accessibility practices and development requirements are intended to support:

Clear page titles, logical heading structures, and meaningful page landmarks.
Keyboard access to navigation, links, buttons, forms, menus, and interactive tools.
A visible keyboard focus indicator and a logical focus order.
Interfaces that do not trap a person’s keyboard focus.
Real headings, links, buttons, and form controls rather than visual elements that only imitate them.
Descriptive link and button text that communicates the destination or action.
Text alternatives for meaningful images and appropriate treatment of decorative images.
Captions, transcripts, or another suitable text alternative for material audio or video content that we publish.
Sufficient contrast between text, controls, focus indicators, and their backgrounds.
Information that is not communicated through color, shape, position, or an icon alone.
Text resizing, browser zoom, and narrow-screen reflow without unnecessary loss of content or functionality.
Forms with clear labels, instructions, required-field indicators, and understandable error messages.
Status and confirmation messages that can be identified by assistive technology.
Tables with meaningful headers and structures that preserve the relationship between information.
Controls with adequate size and spacing for people using touch, pointer, or mobility-assistance technologies.
Reduced-motion preferences and avoidance of unnecessary animation, flashing content, or automatically playing audio.
Sticky calls to action, banners, and other fixed interface elements that do not cover important content, keyboard focus, form controls, or consent choices.
Consistent navigation and predictable interface behavior.
Plain-language explanations, defined medical terms when useful, and content divided into manageable sections.

These practices apply to both editorial content and commercial elements. An affiliate relationship does not permit a provider, advertisement, button, or tracking element to bypass our accessibility requirements.

Accessibility of Core Site Tools

Interactive tools require additional attention because they can create barriers that are not present in a standard article.

Our accessibility requirements for the Find My TRT Path tool, contact form, correction form, provider-comparison features, and similar interactive experiences include:

Every question and control must be reachable and usable with a keyboard.
Question labels, instructions, available choices, and selected states must be understandable without relying on visual appearance alone.
Progress information must be communicated clearly.
Validation errors must identify what happened and how the user can correct it.
Focus must move in a predictable way after an error, step change, dialog, or submitted form.
Users should not be required to complete a drag-and-drop action, complex gesture, or time-limited task when a simpler method can be provided.
Users must be able to review or change answers when the tool permits it.
Results and important status messages must be available to assistive technology.
Persistent calls to action must not obstruct questions, answers, results, navigation, or form controls.

The Find My TRT Path tool provides general educational guidance. Accessibility assistance does not convert the tool into medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a determination that a person is eligible for TRT.

How We Review Accessibility

We do not rely on a single automated score, browser extension, accessibility badge, or overlay to determine whether the site is accessible.

Depending on the page or feature, accessibility review may include:

Automated checks that identify certain code, contrast, labeling, and structural problems.
Keyboard-only navigation.
Review of focus visibility, focus order, and focus behavior.
Browser zoom and narrow-screen reflow checks.
Review of headings, landmarks, link names, image alternatives, forms, errors, and tables.
Checks for information communicated by color or visual position alone.
Screen-reader spot checks of important templates and interactive flows.
Mobile and touchscreen checks.
Review of persistent, sticky, or overlapping interface elements.

Automated tools can identify some problems, but they cannot establish that every page is accessible or that every assistive-technology user will have the same experience. Reports from actual users may identify barriers that automated testing does not detect.

We give particular attention to sitewide navigation, page templates, forms, decision tools, comparison tables, disclosure elements, and calls to action because a problem in one of those components may affect many pages.

Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology

TRT Provider Guide is intended to work with current versions of commonly used browsers and with assistive technologies supported by those browsers.

Browser, operating-system, device, extension, and assistive-technology combinations vary widely. We have not completed or published a formal compatibility matrix, and we cannot guarantee identical operation with every possible combination or with outdated or unsupported software.

Please report a specific browser or assistive-technology combination if it prevents you from accessing our content or using a site feature.

Current Limitations

TRT Provider Guide is an actively developed website. New pages, updated templates, interactive tools, comparison tables, third-party integrations, and other changes may occasionally introduce barriers.

Because we have not completed an independent site-wide accessibility audit, we cannot provide a verified list of every current limitation. The absence of a particular barrier from this statement does not mean that the site is barrier-free.

Areas we monitor closely include:

Interactive decision tools and multi-step forms.
Comparison tables on narrow screens.
Keyboard focus near sticky calls to action.
Form validation and confirmation messages.
Newly added images, charts, audio, or video.
Provider-supplied documents and information.
Third-party links, widgets, and services.

We will update this statement when we confirm a material recurring limitation or materially change our accessibility process.

Third-Party Websites and Services

TRT Provider Guide links to healthcare providers, government resources, professional organizations, research publications, pharmacies, laboratories, affiliate partners, and other external services.

A link does not mean that TRT Provider Guide controls or certifies the accessibility of the destination. Third-party websites and documents may follow different accessibility standards and may change without notice.

You may still report a third-party accessibility problem when it prevents you from understanding or using something on TRT Provider Guide. We will consider whether we can provide a clearer description, select a more accessible source, offer an alternative, or change how the third-party resource is presented. We may not be able to repair content or software that another organization controls.

Requesting Information in Another Format

If an accessibility barrier prevents you from accessing public information that TRT Provider Guide controls, you may request that information in another format.

When practical, we will make a reasonable effort to provide an accessible alternative, such as a plain-text version, a clearer description, or another usable presentation of the same public information.

This process cannot be used to obtain individualized medical advice, interpretation of laboratory results, a treatment recommendation, a prescription, private provider records, or content controlled by a third party.

How We Handle Accessibility Reports

We review accessibility reports in good faith and prioritize issues based on factors such as:

Whether the barrier blocks access to core educational content or an important site function.
Whether it affects sitewide navigation or a component used across many pages.
Whether the user has an immediate accessible alternative.
The number of people likely to be affected.
The technical complexity of the correction.
Whether the relevant content or service is controlled by TRT Provider Guide or by a third party.

When we verify a material barrier within our control, we will work to correct it or provide an appropriate alternative. Some corrections may require design, development, content, or third-party changes.

We aim to review reports as promptly as practical, but we do not promise a fixed response or resolution time. Resolution time can vary depending on severity, complexity, available information, and third-party dependencies.

We may revise this statement as the site, applicable guidance, accessibility standards, testing practices, or confirmed limitations change.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the most recent material revision. Minor formatting or link repairs may not receive a separate history entry.

Statement History

September 1, 2026 — Version 1.0: Initial publication. Established WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the site’s working accessibility benchmark, documented the site’s current conformance status, and created a process for reporting barriers and requesting alternative access.

This statement describes our accessibility goals, current status, and feedback process. It is not an accessibility certification, warranty of error-free operation, or legal opinion.
