• You do not need to create an account to read our content or use the Find My TRT Path tool.
• We do not sell testosterone, provide medical care, process prescriptions, or collect payment card information.
• Individual answers entered into our decision tools are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored in our database.
• We do not use session-replay software.
• We do not sell personal information or consumer health data for money.
• We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Optional third-party analytics remain off unless you choose to allow them.
• You may reject optional analytics without losing access to our content or tools.
• We do not want you to send us laboratory reports, medical records, prescription information, government identification numbers, financial credentials, or detailed personal health information.

1. Who We Are

TRT Provider Guide is an independent educational and comparison publisher. We are not a medical practice, telehealth clinic, healthcare professional, pharmacy, laboratory, manufacturer, insurer, or treatment provider.

We do not diagnose medical conditions, interpret individual laboratory results, determine treatment eligibility, prescribe medication, or maintain patient medical records.

TRT Provider Guide is not acting as your healthcare provider or health plan. Information submitted to us should not be assumed to be protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, commonly called HIPAA. Please do not send personal medical records or other information that you would ordinarily provide only to a licensed healthcare professional.

The website is directed primarily to adults in the United States.

2. Notice at Collection

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect or process the following categories of information:

Information you choose to submit

This may include:

• The message you enter into a contact, correction, source-suggestion, privacy, or partnership form
• An email address, if you choose to provide one
• The type of form submitted
• The page from which the form was submitted
• Links or source information you include within your message
• The date and time of the submission

General contact, correction, source-suggestion, and privacy forms do not require a name. Provider data submissions request a representative's name, title or role, and work email so we can verify the submission and follow up. We do not provide a file-upload field for medical records or identification documents.

If you voluntarily include health information or another sensitive detail in a free-text message, we may receive that information even though we did not request it. Please share only the minimum information necessary for your editorial or privacy request.

Information from decision tools and calculators

Our tools are designed to minimize collection.

Selections entered into the Find My TRT Path tool are processed temporarily in your browser to display an educational result. Individual answers and result branches are not:

• Sent to our application database
• Included in URL parameters
• Saved in cookies or browser storage
• Added to an affiliate link
• Sent to Google Analytics
• Shared with a provider or affiliate network
• Used to determine whether you qualify for treatment

Answers disappear when you refresh the page, leave the tool, or close the browser tab.

Values entered into a cost calculator or worksheet are also processed in your browser. We do not store the dollar amounts you enter.

We may count a limited, non-identifying event showing that a tool was started, completed, or used. These events do not include the answers selected, the result shown, the values entered, or a visitor-level tracking identifier.

Limited first-party website events

We may maintain privacy-minimized first-party records such as:

• A general event name, such as a tool being started, a worksheet being used, a call-to-action being selected, or a form being submitted
• The page path on which the event occurred
• A limited non-sensitive label describing the site element
• The date and time of the event

Our application-level event records are not designed to include your name, email address, IP address, user agent, funnel answers, calculator values, medical details, or a first-party device identifier.

We use these events to understand whether the website functions correctly and which general resources readers find useful.

Hosting, security, and technical information

Like nearly every website, our hosting and network providers must process certain technical information to deliver pages and protect the service. This may include:

• IP address
• Browser and device type
• Operating system
• Requested page or file
• Date and time of the request
• General location inferred from an IP address
• Error, security, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic information

Our application does not intentionally add an IP address or user agent to contact-form or first-party analytics database records. However, our hosting provider may process or retain technical logs under its own operational, security, and legal policies.

Optional analytics information

On eligible editorial pages, we may use Google Analytics only after you affirmatively allow optional analytics through our Privacy Choices control.

Depending on your consent and browser settings, Google Analytics may process information such as:

• Pages visited
• Approximate visit time and duration
• Referring website or source
• General browser, operating-system, and device characteristics
• Approximate geographic region
• General page interactions
• A pseudonymous browser or session identifier
• Cookies used to distinguish visits and sessions

We do not configure Google Analytics to receive names, email addresses, form messages, personal health records, decision-tool answers, calculator values, or User-ID data.

We disable Google Signals, advertising personalization, demographics and interest reporting, and integrations intended for personalized advertising. Google Analytics does not run on our decision-tool, contact, correction, or legal-policy pages.

You can reject or withdraw analytics permission at any time by selecting Privacy Choices in the website footer.

Affiliate and provider-link information

Some links may be affiliate links. When you intentionally select an affiliate link:

• Your browser leaves TRT Provider Guide and opens a third-party website.
• The destination URL may contain a publisher, campaign, or placement identifier showing that TRT Provider Guide referred the visit.
• The destination website or affiliate network may receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address, browser information, request time, and the affiliate parameters in the URL.
• The destination website or affiliate network may set its own cookies or use its own tracking technologies under its own privacy policy.
• We may later receive limited attribution information showing that a click, application, purchase, enrollment, or other qualifying action occurred.

Affiliate reporting may include a pseudonymous transaction or click identifier, the provider involved, the placement, the date, the status of a qualifying action, and the commission attributable to the referral.

We do not request or expect affiliate partners to send us your laboratory results, diagnosis, prescription information, treatment plan, dosage, complete medical history, insurance records, account password, or full payment card information.

We do not add answers from Find My TRT Path, contact-form messages, calculator entries, or email addresses to affiliate links.

Affiliate relationships and their effect on our business are explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Privacy preference information

We use necessary browser storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. This preference record is used only to apply your privacy choice and expires after 12 months unless you update it sooner.

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

TRT Provider Guide does not intentionally collect:

• Copies of laboratory reports
• Medical charts or clinical records
• Prescription documents
• A personal treatment plan or dosage history
• Health-insurance member numbers
• Social Security numbers
• Driver’s license or passport numbers
• Financial-account credentials
• Full payment card numbers
• Account passwords
• Genetic information
• Biometric identifiers
• Precise geolocation
• Audio or video recordings
• Photographs submitted for medical evaluation
• Information for determining treatment eligibility
• Information from children for the purpose of profiling or advertising

Do not submit this information through our forms.

If sensitive information is submitted unexpectedly, we may remove it, restrict access to it, or delete the submission without retaining a complete copy.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information described in this policy to:

• Operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website
• Display requested pages, tools, and educational results
• Respond to messages when an email address is provided
• Investigate correction requests and source suggestions
• Maintain an accurate editorial correction history
• Understand aggregate use of pages, tools, and calls to action

• Decide whether TRT is medically appropriate for you
• Determine whether a healthcare professional should prescribe medication
• Set the price of medical care or insurance
• Make employment, housing, lending, education, insurance, or healthcare-eligibility decisions
• Create a clinical patient record
• Train an advertising profile based on your health interests
• Serve cross-context behavioral advertising

5. How We Disclose Information

We limit disclosures to the purposes described below.

Hosting and infrastructure providers

Replit, Inc. provides website-hosting, application, server, and database infrastructure. Replit may process technical and stored information as necessary to provide and secure those services.

Optional analytics provider

Google Analytics may process consented analytics information on eligible editorial pages.

You can review the Google Privacy Policy and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Rejecting analytics through our Privacy Choices control prevents us from intentionally loading Google Analytics for that browser while the preference remains active.

Communications providers

We may use an email or communications service to route contact and privacy messages. Such a provider may process the message and email address solely to transmit, secure, or store the communication on our behalf.

Affiliate networks and provider websites

When you intentionally follow an affiliate link, the selected provider or affiliate network receives the information necessary to open the destination and attribute the referral.

Active material affiliate relationships are identified near relevant recommendations and on our Affiliate Disclosure. We will update this policy when adding a service that materially changes how personal or health-related information is processed.

Professional advisers

We may disclose limited information to attorneys, accountants, security consultants, or other professional advisers when reasonably necessary to obtain advice, investigate a dispute, maintain records, or comply with law.

Legal, safety, and security disclosures

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law or valid legal process
• Respond to a lawful request from a court or government authority
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or illegal activity
• Protect the rights, safety, or property of readers, the public, TRT Provider Guide, or another party
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

Business transfers

Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of website assets, or similar transaction. Any successor would remain subject to applicable law and the privacy commitments governing information at the time of transfer unless a lawful updated notice is provided.

6. Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

Because TRT Provider Guide publishes information about testosterone, hormones, fertility, testing, symptoms, treatment options, and healthcare providers, even ordinary website activity may reveal or support an inference about a person’s health interests.

We treat health-related information cautiously, including where it may not be covered by HIPAA.

Categories of consumer health data we may process

Depending on how you use the website, consumer health data may include:

• A visit to a page concerning a particular health topic
• A user-directed click to a TRT clinic, laboratory, pharmacy, or other health-related provider
• Health-related information voluntarily included in a contact or correction message
• General page-interaction data processed by optional analytics after consent
• Technical information necessary to deliver a requested health-related page

Individual answers entered into Find My TRT Path and individual values entered into calculators are not transmitted to or stored in our application database.

Sources of consumer health data

Consumer health data may come:

• Directly from you
• From your browser or device when requesting a page
• From our hosting and security infrastructure
• From Google Analytics after you consent to optional analytics
• From an affiliate network or provider after you intentionally follow an affiliate link and a qualifying action is reported

We do not purchase consumer health profiles from data brokers.

Why we process consumer health data

We may process limited consumer health data to:

• Deliver the page, tool, or link you requested
• Protect the website from fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Respond to a message you chose to submit
• Investigate an editorial correction
• Measure aggregate site performance after consent
• Attribute a user-directed affiliate referral
• Comply with applicable law

We do not process consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising, unrelated profiling, or determining eligibility for healthcare.

With whom consumer health data may be disclosed

Depending on the interaction, limited consumer health data may be processed by:

• Replit, as our hosting and infrastructure provider
• Google Analytics, on eligible editorial pages after consent
• An email or communications provider used to route a message
• The provider or affiliate network whose link you intentionally select
• Professional advisers or government authorities in the limited circumstances described in this policy

We do not disclose answer-level decision-tool data because we do not transmit or store it.

No sale of consumer health data

We do not sell consumer health data for money.

We do not use consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not combine your health-related activity on this website with activity obtained from unrelated websites to build an advertising profile.

We do not use geofencing technology to identify, track, or send messages to people at or near healthcare facilities.

Consumer health data choices

You may:

• Reject optional analytics before it runs
• Withdraw analytics permission through Privacy Choices
• Request access to consumer health data associated with you
• Request deletion of consumer health data associated with you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
• Ask for a list of specific third parties to which your consumer health data was disclosed when applicable law grants that right
• Appeal the denial of an applicable request

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Necessary browser storage

We use a necessary browser preference record to remember your analytics choice. It does not contain your decision-tool answers, medical information, email address, or advertising profile.

Necessary storage cannot be disabled through our site controls because it is used to remember and apply the privacy choice you requested. You may remove it through your browser, although doing so may cause the privacy prompt to appear again.

Optional analytics cookies

Google Analytics may place or read cookies only after you allow optional analytics on an eligible page. These cookies help distinguish visits and understand aggregate website use.

You may reject them when first asked or later select Privacy Choices in the footer.

Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent access to:

• Articles
• Provider comparisons
• Cost information
• Decision tools
• Calculators
• Contact or correction forms
• Affiliate or non-affiliate links

Cookies on third-party websites

A provider, affiliate network, laboratory, pharmacy, insurer, or other third-party destination may use its own cookies after you leave TRT Provider Guide. Those technologies are governed by the third party’s privacy notice and controls, not this policy.

8. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Where our website detects a valid Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to reject optional analytics and to opt out of processing that may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law.

Global Privacy Control is applied to the browser or device transmitting the signal. You may need to enable it separately on other browsers or devices.

Some browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting. Because there is no uniform industry standard governing Do Not Track signals, we do not rely on that signal alone. You can make an enforceable choice on our site through Privacy Choices, and we honor Global Privacy Control as described above.

Third-party destination websites may respond to these signals differently.

9. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than their ordinary meanings. Where applicable law treats a particular disclosure or analytics activity as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may opt out through:

• Privacy Choices in the website footer
• A valid Global Privacy Control signal
• A request submitted through the methods listed below

We will not require you to create an account to exercise an opt-out right.

10. Data Retention

We retain information only for the period reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose, subject to security, accounting, dispute, and legal requirements.

Our standard retention periods are:

First-party website events

Raw first-party event records are retained for up to 90 days. We may retain aggregate statistics that no longer identify or reasonably relate to an individual for a longer period.

Routine contact and partnership messages

Routine contact, general-question, and partnership messages are ordinarily deleted or de-identified within 24 months after the last substantive interaction.

Correction and source-suggestion records

Correction and source-suggestion records may be retained for up to five years when necessary to document our editorial review, source history, or a material correction. Information that is not needed for that purpose may be removed earlier.

Privacy requests

Records needed to document and complete a privacy request may be retained for up to 24 months after the request is closed.

Privacy preferences

The browser record used to remember your privacy choice expires after 12 months unless you update or remove it sooner.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is configured to the shortest standard retention period available to us. Google may retain aggregated reporting information for a different period under its service settings and policies.

Affiliate and accounting records

Pseudonymous transaction, commission, or attribution records may be retained for up to seven years when reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, audit, or dispute purposes.

Hosting and security logs

Hosting, network, and infrastructure providers may retain technical or security logs according to their own operational policies. Our application does not intentionally add IP addresses or user agents to contact-submission or first-party event database records.

Exceptions

We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with law
• Respond to a legal hold
• Investigate fraud or a security incident
• Resolve a dispute
• Enforce an agreement
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

When the applicable purpose ends, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of the information within our control.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. These measures are designed to limit unnecessary collection, restrict access, protect information in transit, maintain the website, and remove information when it is no longer needed.

No website, transmission method, hosting platform, or database can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send sensitive medical, financial, identity, or account information through our forms.

If you believe information submitted through TRT Provider Guide may have been accessed or used improperly, contact us promptly using the information below.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process personal information about you
• Request access to personal information associated with you
• Request a portable copy of certain information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
• Opt out of targeted advertising
• Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information

• Obtain information about categories or specific third parties that received your information
• Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request

We aim to honor reasonable privacy requests even when a particular law does not require every right listed above.

Begin the message with Privacy Request and describe the right you want to exercise.

Please provide:

• The email address used in the original submission, when applicable
• The approximate date and type of interaction
• The page or form involved
• Enough information for us to locate the relevant record

Do not send a Social Security number, driver’s license, passport, medical record, payment-card information, or account password unless we specifically explain why a particular item is legally necessary. We ordinarily will not need those documents.

Because we do not require accounts and many first-party events contain no visitor identifier, we may be unable to identify certain event data as belonging to a particular person. If we cannot reasonably link a record to you, we will explain that limitation.

Verification

We may take reasonable steps to confirm that a request concerns you or an authorized person. Information collected for verification will be used only to evaluate and respond to the request.

Authorized agents

Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request for you. We may request evidence of the agent’s authority and may ask you to confirm the request directly.

Appeals

If we deny an applicable privacy request, you may appeal by replying to the decision with the words Privacy Appeal and explaining why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

No discrimination

We will not unlawfully deny content, charge a different price, or provide a lower level of service because you exercised an applicable privacy right.

13. Children’s Privacy

TRT Provider Guide is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our forms or tools. Individuals under 18 should not submit contact information or personal health information through the website.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child submitted personal information to us, contact privacy@trtproviderguide.com. We will review the request and delete the information when required.

14. Third-Party Websites and Healthcare Providers

TRT Provider Guide links to websites that we do not own or control. A link does not make us responsible for the destination’s privacy, security, medical, billing, prescribing, or data-handling practices.

Before giving a provider personal or medical information, review that provider’s:

• Privacy policy
• Notice of Privacy Practices, when applicable
• Consent forms
• Telehealth terms
• Pharmacy and laboratory disclosures
• Affiliate or marketing permissions
• Data-deletion procedures

Your interaction with a provider is directly between you and that provider. TRT Provider Guide does not receive or maintain the provider’s complete patient record merely because you followed one of our links.

15. International Visitors

TRT Provider Guide is directed primarily to adults in the United States.

Information may be processed in the United States or in another location where a service provider operates. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law requires consent for optional analytics, those analytics remain disabled until consent is provided. You may withdraw consent at any time through Privacy Choices.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, tools, service providers, affiliate relationships, legal obligations, or data practices change.

The “Last updated” date at the top of the page identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we collect, use, retain, or disclose personal or consumer health information, we will provide a reasonably prominent notice before or when the change takes effect when required.

We will not use previously collected information for a materially different purpose without providing any notice or consent required by applicable law.
