Terms of Use

These Terms explain the rules for using TRT Provider Guide and the limits of our educational content, provider comparisons, interactive tools, and external links.

Published by TRT Provider Guide

Effective date and last updated: September 1, 2026

Please read these Terms of Use carefully. By accessing or using TRT Provider Guide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

At a glance

TRT Provider Guide is an educational and comparison publisher, not a healthcare provider.

  • We do not diagnose medical conditions, interpret personal laboratory results, prescribe medication, or provide medical care.
  • Our tools, provider comparisons, pricing information, and editorial conclusions are general information—not personal recommendations, clinical referrals, or guarantees.
  • Provider availability, clinical requirements, prices, insurance coverage, medications, policies, and laws can change. Verify consequential information directly before acting.
  • We may receive compensation through certain clearly disclosed affiliate relationships.
  • A clinic, laboratory, pharmacy, insurer, or other third party is solely responsible for the services it provides and the relationship it establishes with you.

This summary is provided for convenience. The complete Terms below control your use of the Site.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms form an agreement between you and the publisher and operator of TRT Provider Guide.

In these Terms:

  • “TRT Provider Guide,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the publisher and operator of this website.
  • “Site” means trtproviderguide.com and the articles, provider reviews, comparison tables, questionnaires, decision paths, calculators, forms, and other features we operate through it.
  • “Provider” means any third-party clinician, medical practice, telehealth company, laboratory, pharmacy, manufacturer, insurer, payment service, or other organization discussed or linked on the Site.

These Terms apply only to the Site. A third-party website or service is governed by its own terms, policies, clinical requirements, and agreements.

If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. What TRT Provider Guide is

TRT Provider Guide is an independent educational and comparison publisher. We help readers understand questions involving low-testosterone evaluation, testosterone replacement therapy, available care routes, provider features, costs, monitoring, fertility considerations, and other decision factors.

TRT Provider Guide is not:

  • A medical practice or telehealth clinic
  • A physician, nurse, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional
  • A laboratory or diagnostic service
  • A pharmacy or drug manufacturer
  • An insurer, insurance broker, or benefits administrator
  • A law firm, financial adviser, or professional referral service
  • An emergency or crisis service

We do not sell, prescribe, dispense, ship, or administer testosterone or any other medication. We do not collect payment for medical care, decide whether treatment is clinically appropriate, or control the practice of any provider discussed on the Site.

Unless a page clearly states otherwise, TRT Provider Guide does not own or operate the providers it discusses.

3. Adult audience and geographic scope

The Site is intended for a general adult audience.

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a form, use an interactive decision tool, or engage with a provider through a link on the Site. If you are under 18, do not submit personal information through the Site.

The Site is primarily written for readers in the United States. Medical practice rules, prescribing requirements, medication approvals, insurance systems, professional licensing requirements, and consumer rights differ between jurisdictions. We do not represent that Site content or a linked provider is appropriate, lawful, or available in every location.

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live and where you use the Site.

4. Educational information only

All Site content is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

The Site does not provide:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Personal laboratory interpretation
  • A determination that you have low testosterone or hypogonadism
  • A determination that TRT or another treatment is appropriate for you
  • Medication selection, dosing, or monitoring instructions
  • Legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice
  • A guarantee of insurance coverage, reimbursement, or eligibility
  • A substitute for an examination or consultation with a qualified professional

General information cannot account for your complete medical history, symptoms, physical examination, laboratory methods and results, medications, fertility goals, cardiovascular history, prostate health, sleep, blood pressure, blood counts, location, insurance terms, or other individual circumstances.

Do not start, stop, obtain, share, combine, or change a prescription medication based on Site content. Do not disregard or delay professional care because of something you read on the Site.

Nothing on the Site creates a clinician-patient, pharmacist-patient, attorney-client, insurer-member, fiduciary, or other professional relationship with TRT Provider Guide.

Read our complete Medical Disclaimer.

5. Emergencies and urgent medical concerns

TRT Provider Guide is not an emergency service, and its pages and contact forms are not continuously monitored.

Do not use the Site, its tools, or its contact forms to report an emergency, request urgent medical help, obtain a prescription, or seek time-sensitive treatment guidance.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 in the United States or contact the emergency service available in your location. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, contact an appropriate licensed healthcare professional or urgent-care service.

6. Interactive tools, questionnaires, and calculators

The Site may offer tools such as Find My TRT Path, cost calculators, comparison filters, questionnaires, checklists, worksheets, and other interactive features.

These tools provide general educational output based on:

  • The information you choose to enter
  • Simplified editorial rules
  • General assumptions
  • Publicly available information
  • The tool’s design at the time you use it

No clinician reviews your answers through these tools unless a feature expressly and clearly states otherwise.

A tool result is not:

  • A diagnosis
  • A laboratory interpretation
  • A prescription recommendation
  • A determination of medical necessity
  • A determination of provider or treatment eligibility
  • A guarantee that a provider will accept you
  • An insurance-coverage decision
  • A binding price quote
  • A substitute for individualized professional evaluation

Tool results can be incomplete or inappropriate for circumstances the tool was not designed to evaluate. Do not rely on a tool result as the sole basis for a medical, financial, insurance, or legal decision.

Information submitted through Site tools and forms is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not enter detailed medical records, account credentials, government identification numbers, payment-card details, or other sensitive information unless a feature expressly requests and is designed to receive it.

7. No guarantee of eligibility, treatment, or prescription

Only an appropriately licensed healthcare professional can determine whether an evaluation, test, medication, or treatment is appropriate for an individual patient.

Reading a provider review, receiving a tool result, clicking a provider link, submitting an intake form, purchasing laboratory testing, scheduling a consultation, or paying a provider fee does not guarantee:

  • A medical diagnosis
  • Acceptance as a patient
  • Eligibility for TRT or another treatment
  • Issuance or renewal of a prescription
  • Access to a particular medication or formulation
  • Insurance approval or reimbursement
  • A particular clinical result
  • Continued treatment

Providers must make their own decisions under applicable law, professional standards, licensing requirements, and clinical judgment. TRT Provider Guide cannot direct or override those decisions.

8. Provider comparisons, rankings, and editorial designations

Provider comparisons are editorial assessments based on the information and methodology available when a page is researched or updated.

Inclusion, exclusion, order, a score, a badge, a comparison category, or a designation such as “best,” “recommended,” or “editor’s choice” does not constitute:

  • Medical endorsement
  • Clinical referral
  • Accreditation
  • Credentialing
  • Certification of safety or quality
  • A guarantee of regulatory compliance
  • A guarantee that the provider is suitable for you
  • A guarantee of a particular patient experience or outcome

A provider that is appropriate for one person may be inappropriate for another. No ranking can account for every person’s medical circumstances, location, preferences, insurance, fertility plans, or need for specialist care.

Our research may use official regulatory sources, professional guidance, provider websites, provider documents, written provider responses, public records, pricing pages, policy documents, and consumer-experience reports. Each source has limitations. Public information may be incomplete, outdated, unclear, or inconsistent.

Unless we expressly state that a particular fact was independently verified, readers should not assume that we have audited a provider’s clinical records, inspected its facilities, tested its services, examined every professional license, or continuously monitored its operations.

Providers may submit corrections or supporting documentation. A provider has no right to purchase a favorable conclusion, suppress a material limitation, or require removal of accurate criticism as a condition of a commercial relationship.

Read How We Review TRT Providers and our Editorial Standards.

9. Your responsibility to verify provider information

Before selecting or paying a provider, verify information that matters to your decision directly with the provider and, where appropriate, with the relevant licensing board, regulator, insurer, pharmacy, laboratory, or qualified professional.

Depending on your circumstances, information worth verifying may include:

  • Clinician identity, credentials, and state licensure
  • Whether the provider serves your state
  • Whether an in-person visit is required
  • Eligibility and testing requirements
  • Baseline and follow-up laboratory testing
  • Available medications and formulations
  • Whether a medication is FDA-approved or compounded
  • The identity and licensure of any dispensing pharmacy
  • Monitoring and follow-up practices
  • Fertility counseling and referral procedures
  • Total initial and ongoing cost
  • Membership or minimum-term requirements
  • Shipping and supply charges
  • Refill procedures
  • Cancellation, pause, and refund rules
  • Record-access and transfer procedures
  • Insurance billing and reimbursement rules
  • Privacy and data-sharing practices

Ask for important price, cancellation, refund, and treatment terms in writing before enrolling.

10. Accuracy, dates, and corrections

We aim to publish accurate, carefully sourced information. We do not, however, warrant that every statement, link, price, policy, provider feature, legal requirement, or clinical detail is complete, error-free, or current at the exact time you read it.

Medical evidence, product labeling, professional guidance, telemedicine rules, controlled-substance requirements, state laws, provider availability, medication offerings, pharmacy relationships, insurance criteria, and prices can change.

A publication date, update date, or “checked” date indicates when specified work occurred. It does not guarantee that every underlying fact remained unchanged afterward.

We may correct, clarify, expand, or remove content when new information becomes available. A correction does not mean that all other Site content has been independently reverified.

You may report a possible factual error through our Corrections Policy and Log or Contact page.

11. Pricing, discounts, insurance, and financial information

Any cost, price, savings figure, discount, insurance estimate, reimbursement example, or first-year-cost calculation on the Site is general information unless expressly identified as a binding offer from the party authorized to make it.

TRT Provider Guide does not set provider prices, process medical payments, submit insurance claims, determine medical necessity, issue prior authorizations, or control an insurer’s coverage decision.

Actual cost can vary based on factors including:

  • Provider
  • Location
  • Consultation requirements
  • Laboratory testing
  • Medication and formulation
  • Dose
  • Pharmacy
  • Shipping
  • Supplies
  • Membership fees
  • Follow-up frequency
  • Insurance plan
  • Deductible
  • Copay or coinsurance
  • Prior authorization
  • Taxes or other charges

Promotional offers, advertised starting prices, coupon terms, and discounts may change, expire, apply only to selected patients, or exclude important components of care.

We do not guarantee that a linked provider offers the lowest available price or that a price available through an affiliate link is identical to a price available through another channel.

Your financial relationship is with the provider, insurer, payment processor, or other third party you choose to use—not with TRT Provider Guide.

12. Affiliate links and commercial relationships

As of September 1, 2026, affiliate mode is off. TRT Provider Guide does not currently receive affiliate compensation, sell paid provider placements, or earn commissions from provider referrals. If that status changes, the relevant page-level disclosures will be updated before qualifying links are activated.

An affiliate relationship means that a commercial connection may exist between TRT Provider Guide and the linked company. We disclose these relationships so readers can consider them when evaluating our content.

Affiliate compensation does not permit a provider to:

  • Purchase a favorable medical or editorial conclusion
  • Remove an accurate material limitation
  • Bypass our research standards
  • Guarantee inclusion
  • Guarantee the highest ranking
  • Prevent publication of a verified correction
  • Determine whether treatment is appropriate for a reader

We do not charge readers merely to access an affiliate link. The provider controls its own prices, fees, eligibility rules, services, and transaction terms. We do not guarantee that an affiliate link provides the lowest price, best offer, or most appropriate care route.

Where a material commercial relationship applies to a recommendation or link, it must be disclosed clearly on the relevant page or near the affected content. This section is not a substitute for those page-level disclosures.

Any paid sponsorship, advertisement, or sponsored placement must be identified as such. A sponsored placement is not a clinical recommendation or a finding that a service is appropriate for a particular person.

Read our current Affiliate Disclosure.

13. Third-party websites and services

The Site may link to providers, pharmacies, laboratories, government agencies, professional organizations, medical journals, insurers, payment processors, affiliate networks, or other third parties.

A link does not mean that TRT Provider Guide:

  • Owns or controls the third party
  • Endorses every statement on its website
  • Guarantees its services
  • Confirms its continuing licensure or regulatory status
  • Accepts responsibility for its privacy or security practices
  • Becomes a party to your transaction or clinical relationship

Third-party websites can change without notice. They may collect information, use cookies or tracking technologies, require payment, impose contractual terms, or make independent medical, legal, eligibility, and billing decisions.

Review the third party’s current terms, privacy policy, notices, consent documents, pricing, and clinical information before sharing information or purchasing a service.

Any care, prescription, medication, laboratory service, payment, refund, privacy issue, or dispute involving a third party is governed by your relationship with that party and applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRT Provider Guide is not responsible for the acts, omissions, content, products, services, security, availability, or decisions of a third party.

14. Testimonials, ratings, and patient experiences

A testimonial, consumer review, complaint, star rating, social-media post, or other account of an individual experience does not establish that the same result is typical, medically valid, or likely for another person.

Patient experiences can be influenced by medical circumstances, expectations, treatment selection, dose, adherence, provider practices, location, support, price, and other factors.

Unless expressly stated, TRT Provider Guide does not independently verify every factual statement made in a consumer review or testimonial. We may use these reports to identify experience patterns or questions worth investigating, but they are not a substitute for clinical evidence, regulatory records, or professional evaluation.

A positive review is not proof of safety or effectiveness. A negative review is not, by itself, proof of misconduct.

Known incentives, sponsorships, free services, discounts, or other material relationships connected to a testimonial should be disclosed when the testimonial is presented.

15. Acceptable use

You may use the Site only for lawful, personal, and informational purposes.

You may not:

  • Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Use the Site to unlawfully obtain, transfer, sell, share, or misuse a prescription medication or controlled substance
  • Impersonate another person, patient, clinician, provider, regulator, or organization
  • Submit information you know is false, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or infringing
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, accounts, code, databases, or service providers
  • Interfere with Site operation, security, availability, or performance
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, automated attacks, or harmful material
  • Harvest email addresses, personal information, or other data from the Site
  • Use Site forms for spam, solicitation, harassment, threats, or unrelated bulk messages
  • Submit detailed medical records, passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information
  • Alter Site content and present it as an official TRT Provider Guide publication
  • Falsely claim that TRT Provider Guide endorses, employs, sponsors, certifies, or partners with you
  • Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, disclosure, or other proprietary notices
  • Reproduce or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Site without permission
  • Use automated systems to extract substantial portions of Site content, except for standard search-engine indexing conducted in accordance with our robots.txt file and other published technical directives
  • Use the Site in a way that violates another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other legal rights

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, its readers, or third parties.

16. Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site’s original text, editorial organization, comparison frameworks, graphics, branding, logos, tools, code, design, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to TRT Provider Guide and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access and use publicly available Site content for personal, noncommercial, informational purposes.

You may link to a public Site page. You may also quote a brief portion of our original text for commentary, reporting, scholarship, or another lawful purpose when you provide clear attribution and a link to the original page.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • Republish a complete article or substantial portion of the Site
  • Create a mirror, duplicate site, commercial database, or syndicated copy from Site content
  • Sell, sublicense, license, or commercially distribute our original content
  • Frame the Site in a way that obscures its origin or disclosures
  • Use our branding or logo in a manner that implies affiliation or endorsement
  • Copy a comparison system, dataset, calculator, or tool for commercial deployment
  • Remove or alter attribution, copyright, disclosure, or source information

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit fair use or another right that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Provider names, product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless we expressly disclose such a relationship.

17. Feedback, corrections, and other submissions

The Site may allow you to send feedback, suggest a source, report an error, submit documentation, or make a general inquiry.

By submitting material, you represent that:

  • You have the right to share it
  • Your submission does not knowingly violate another person’s rights
  • You are not using the submission for fraud, harassment, or unlawful purposes
  • You have not included unnecessary sensitive personal or health information
  • Information you present as factual is accurate to the best of your knowledge

You retain any ownership rights you already hold in your submission. You grant TRT Provider Guide a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to review, copy, store, evaluate, verify, and use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate a correction, update content, document editorial work, protect the Site, or comply with law.

Submitting material does not require us to publish it, agree with it, change a page, enter a commercial relationship, or provide a response.

Do not send confidential business information, trade secrets, private medical records, account credentials, or information you are not authorized to disclose. We cannot agree to treat unsolicited ideas, proposals, or commercial pitches as confidential unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Personal information associated with a submission is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of information the Site may process, how information may be used, and the choices that may be available to you.

A third party you visit through the Site has its own privacy and security practices. TRT Provider Guide’s Privacy Policy does not govern information you provide directly to a clinic, clinician, pharmacy, laboratory, insurer, affiliate network, advertiser, or payment processor.

Do not send personal medical details through a general contact or correction form. Use a healthcare provider’s designated secure process for clinical communication.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using reasonable safeguards on your own device, browser, network, and accounts.

19. Copyright and rights concerns

If you believe Site content infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or another legal right, contact us through our Contact page.

Provide enough information for us to understand and evaluate the concern, including:

  • The specific Site URL
  • The content at issue
  • The right or original work you believe is affected
  • An explanation of the claimed infringement
  • Your contact information
  • Documentation showing your authority to act when you represent another person or organization

Do not knowingly submit a false or misleading rights complaint.

20. Site availability, security, and changes

We may modify, correct, reorganize, replace, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site without guaranteeing advance notice.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Site will always be available
  • Every feature will continue to exist
  • Links will always work
  • Content will display identically on every device
  • The Site will be free from every error, interruption, vulnerability, or harmful component
  • Previously published information will remain appropriate after laws, evidence, or provider terms change

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, backups, software, and internet access.

21. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.”

TRT Provider Guide disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties concerning the Site, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, and suitability for any medical, legal, financial, insurance, or purchasing decision.

We do not warrant that use of the Site will produce a particular result, identify the best provider for you, lead to treatment, reduce your costs, obtain insurance coverage, or prevent harm.

No statement made by TRT Provider Guide creates a warranty unless it is expressly identified as a warranty in a written agreement signed by an authorized representative.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

22. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRT Provider Guide and the persons and service providers involved in operating the Site will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or connected with:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Site
  • Reliance on Site content or a tool result
  • A medical, financial, insurance, legal, or purchasing decision
  • A provider comparison, ranking, omission, or designation
  • A third-party website, provider, clinician, pharmacy, laboratory, insurer, product, or service
  • A prescription, denial of treatment, clinical outcome, billing issue, cancellation, or refund
  • Inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or outdated information
  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunity, or goodwill
  • Unauthorized access, security incidents, or harmful components outside our reasonable control

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of TRT Provider Guide and the persons and service providers involved in operating the Site for all claims arising from or related to the Site will not exceed the greater of:

  1. One hundred U.S. dollars; or
  2. The amount you paid directly to TRT Provider Guide for access to the Site during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if the possibility of damages was known.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

23. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TRT Provider Guide and the persons and service providers involved in operating the Site from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • Your unlawful or abusive use of the Site
  • Your material violation of these Terms
  • Material you submit through the Site
  • Your infringement or violation of another person’s rights
  • Your fraudulent or unauthorized conduct

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by conduct for which applicable law does not permit indemnification.

24. Restriction or termination of access

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to all or part of the Site when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

  • Address a violation of these Terms
  • Protect Site security or availability
  • Prevent unlawful or harmful activity
  • Comply with law or a valid legal process
  • Protect readers, third parties, or the Site

Termination or restriction does not affect provisions that by their nature should continue, including provisions concerning intellectual property, submissions, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and dispute-related rights.

25. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Site, its features, our practices, or applicable requirements change.

The date at the top of this page shows the latest update. Unless otherwise stated, revised Terms take effect when posted and apply prospectively.

Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the Site.

We will not change a historical “last updated” date merely to make the page appear more recent. The date should reflect a substantive review or change.

26. Severability, no waiver, and complete agreement

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Section headings are provided for readability and do not limit the meaning of the provisions.

These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated through links on this page, form the complete agreement concerning your use of the Site. They do not replace a separate agreement you may enter with a third party.

Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted. Any dispute will be handled under applicable law by a court or tribunal with proper jurisdiction.

27. Contact us

For questions about these Terms, a Site-use concern, a rights complaint, or a suspected violation, use the TRT Provider Guide Contact page.

Do not use the contact form for medical advice, prescription requests, urgent health concerns, or emergencies.
