COMMERCIAL TRANSPARENCY POLICY
The disclosure in plain language
TRT Provider Guide may use affiliate links. If you use a clearly identified affiliate link and complete a qualifying action—such as requesting information, booking a consultation, enrolling in a program, or making a purchase—we may receive compensation from the provider or an affiliate network.
TRT Provider Guide does not separately charge you for clicking or using an affiliate link. Providers control their own prices, promotions, eligibility requirements, and terms, however, so we do not promise that an affiliate link always provides the lowest available price.
Not every link is an affiliate link. Not every provider we discuss compensates us. A commercial relationship does not buy a favorable factual finding, a higher editorial score, omission of a material limitation, or a medical recommendation.
Why we publish this disclosure
TRT Provider Guide is an independently operated educational and comparison publisher. Affiliate compensation may help support the research, verification, technology, maintenance, and updating required to operate this website.
That compensation is also a financial interest readers deserve to understand when evaluating our content. We therefore disclose affiliate relationships both on this page and near the content in which compensated links or recommendations appear.
This page supplements those on-page disclosures. It is not intended to make readers search through a legal page or website footer to discover that compensation may be involved.
What an affiliate relationship means
An affiliate relationship is a commercial arrangement under which a provider, retailer, service, or affiliate network may compensate TRT Provider Guide for a measurable referral.
Depending on the particular program, compensation may be associated with an eligible click, information request, consultation booking, enrollment, purchase, continued membership, or another qualifying action. Compensation structures and amounts can vary by provider and can change over time.
A link to a provider does not necessarily mean we are compensated. We may publish information about providers with which we have no commercial relationship, and an affiliate relationship does not guarantee that a provider will be included, recommended, or ranked favorably.
Specific commercial relationships are disclosed on the pages where they are relevant. Some affiliate programs may also require additional program-specific language, which will be displayed when applicable.
What we mean when we call this site independent
TRT Provider Guide is not owned or controlled by a TRT clinic, medical practice, prescriber, pharmacy, laboratory, drug manufacturer, or insurance company. We do not sell testosterone, provide medical care, write prescriptions, or determine whether treatment is appropriate for an individual.
“Independent” does not mean that this website is noncommercial or has no financial interests. It means that commercial partners do not own this publication and do not receive authority over our factual findings, evidence summaries, limitations, corrections, or editorial conclusions.
Affiliate compensation is a potential conflict of interest. We manage that conflict through visible disclosures, published comparison criteria, source citations, date checks, clearly stated limitations, and a public corrections process—not by pretending the financial relationship does not exist.
How affiliate links are disclosed
A page containing affiliate recommendations or compensated links should display a plain-language disclosure near the beginning of the content and before, or in close proximity to, the first relevant commercial link.
Where a comparison table, provider card, recommendation, button, or other commercial element could be viewed without the initial notice, an additional disclosure may appear near that element.
Our standard short disclosure is:
Affiliate disclosure: TRT Provider Guide may earn compensation if you use certain links and complete a qualifying action. We do not charge you for using our links. Compensation does not determine our factual findings, evidence summaries, or editorial conclusions.
We do not rely only on vague labels such as “partner,” “affiliate link,” or “commissionable link” to explain a financial relationship.
A link to this full disclosure in the website footer is supplemental. It does not replace the disclosure that should appear on the relevant page.
What compensation can influence
Commercial relationships can affect whether a trackable link, promotional offer, discount code, provider-specific button, or other commercial call to action is available on a page. They may also affect which offers we are technically able to display and measure.
That commercial presentation is separate from our underlying editorial judgment.
A provider cannot pay to:
- Receive a predetermined score, ranking, verdict, or “best” designation
- Have an unsupported medical, safety, effectiveness, or outcome claim published
- Have a material cost, eligibility rule, risk, restriction, or limitation concealed
- Require a competing provider to be excluded or criticized
- Approve our final editorial conclusion
- Prevent a supported correction or material update
- Have paid promotional content presented as independent editorial research
Affiliate status is not itself a provider-quality criterion. A provider with an affiliate relationship may be ranked below a provider that does not compensate us, may receive a qualified or negative conclusion, or may be excluded when it does not meet the stated criteria for a page.
Likewise, a non-affiliate provider may be included when it is relevant to the reader’s decision. We cannot cover every provider, and inclusion or omission should not be interpreted as a certification, condemnation, or complete representation of the market.
How we protect the research process
Our safeguards are procedural and visible. We do not ask readers to rely on an unnamed expert, an unsupported claim of objectivity, or the appearance of medical authority.
Provider comparisons and reviews are developed under our Editorial Standards and Provider Review Methodology. Depending on the subject, our process may include:
- Defining the comparison criteria before assigning an editorial conclusion
- Checking official provider documents and current public terms
- Distinguishing provider-reported information from independently verifiable facts
- Consulting government sources, product labeling, professional guidance, and peer-reviewed research when medical or regulatory claims are involved
- Showing when material provider information was checked
- Identifying facts that remain unknown, unclear, or unverified
- Reporting meaningful disadvantages and restrictions alongside potential advantages
- Correcting material errors under our Corrections Policy
A provider may send us documentation, clarify its public terms, or identify a possible factual error. We evaluate those submissions against available evidence. A provider does not receive the right to approve our final wording or require removal of a supported editorial conclusion.
We may use aggregate link-performance information to understand which resources readers use. Clicks, conversion rates, payouts, and sales performance are not evidence that a provider delivers better clinical care, safer treatment, more appropriate prescribing, or better patient outcomes.
Reviews, ratings, testimonials, and personal experience
TRT Provider Guide does not create, purchase, sell, or knowingly publish fake reviews or testimonials. We do not invent authors, medical reviewers, patients, provider employees, or first-person treatment experiences to make content appear more authoritative.
We do not claim that TRT Provider Guide or a contributor personally used a provider, medication, or service unless that experience actually occurred and is accurately disclosed.
When consumer reviews or public ratings are discussed, they are treated as experience signals—not proof of clinical quality, medical effectiveness, safety, or typical results. Review platforms can contain incomplete, unverified, incentivized, manipulated, or unrepresentative feedback.
Provider-supplied testimonials, incentivized reviews, insider reviews, or other feedback involving a material relationship must be clearly identified if they are used. We do not require positive sentiment in exchange for an incentive or knowingly suppress truthful negative feedback because of an affiliate relationship.
Sponsored content, paid placements, and other benefits
Affiliate links are not necessarily the same as directly sponsored content.
If TRT Provider Guide accepts payment for a specific article, placement, advertisement, or promotional feature, that content will be clearly labeled with language such as “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.” The sponsor will be identified when necessary to understand the relationship.
A paid placement may appear in a clearly separated commercial area, but it will not be presented as an unlabeled editorial ranking or independent provider review.
If a provider gives us free access, services, products, data, travel, accommodations, or another benefit that a reasonable reader could consider relevant, that relationship will be disclosed near the resulting content.
An affiliate link is not a medical recommendation
The presence of an affiliate link does not mean that TRT, a particular provider, a medication, or a care model is medically appropriate for you.
TRT Provider Guide does not diagnose testosterone deficiency, interpret personal laboratory results, determine treatment eligibility, recommend an individualized dose, or prescribe medication. A licensed clinician must make prescribing and treatment decisions based on the person’s symptoms, medical history, examination when appropriate, laboratory findings, fertility goals, contraindications, risks, and applicable laws.
Following an affiliate link does not guarantee:
- That you have testosterone deficiency
- That TRT will be recommended or prescribed
- That a provider serves your state or situation
- That a particular medication or treatment format will be available
- That insurance will cover any part of the service
- That treatment will produce a particular result
- That a provider is the appropriate clinical setting for your needs
Affiliate compensation does not create a clinician-patient relationship with TRT Provider Guide. Please read our complete Medical Disclaimer.
Prices, promotions, availability, and provider terms
Provider prices and offers can change without notice. An advertised monthly price may not include every cost associated with evaluation or treatment.
Before paying or enrolling, verify directly with the provider:
- Consultation and membership charges
- Initial and follow-up laboratory costs
- Medication and pharmacy charges
- Supplies, shipping, and refill costs
- Dose-related price changes
- Minimum commitments
- Renewal and cancellation procedures
- Refund terms
- State availability
- Clinician licensure
- Prescription eligibility
- Insurance, HSA, or FSA requirements
- The full expected first-year cost
A promotion displayed through an affiliate link may be temporary, limited to eligible users, subject to separate terms, or different from another promotion offered through a different channel.
TRT Provider Guide does not promise that an affiliate link provides the lowest available price. Our role is to describe the offer as accurately as reasonably possible and make the commercial relationship visible so readers can compare for themselves.
Affiliate tracking and third-party privacy
Affiliate links may contain referral identifiers or use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies that allow a provider or affiliate network to determine that a visit or qualifying action originated from TRT Provider Guide.
Third-party providers and affiliate networks operate under their own privacy notices, cookie practices, and terms. TRT Provider Guide does not control how a third-party website collects, uses, retains, or shares information after you leave this site.
Review the provider’s privacy notice before submitting identifying, financial, or health information. Our handling of information collected directly through this website is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Relationships can change
Affiliate programs can begin, end, pause, change their compensation terms, or stop tracking referrals. A provider may continue to appear in our educational content after a commercial relationship ends, and a provider we cover may never have had an affiliate relationship with us.
Ending a commercial relationship does not automatically make accurate information about a provider irrelevant. Beginning a commercial relationship does not automatically make a provider better.
We may update this disclosure as our funding model, relationships, technology, or applicable standards change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the latest material revision.
Report a missing disclosure or commercial concern
Transparency depends on implementation. If you believe a compensated link is not properly disclosed, a relationship has been described inaccurately, or commercial content is not clearly separated from editorial content, please contact TRT Provider Guide.
Include the page URL, the link or statement involved, and an explanation of the issue. Do not include symptoms, laboratory results, prescription information, or other sensitive health details.
Readers are never required to use an affiliate link to access our educational content.
