Advanced TRT Clinic Reviews (2026): What We Verified Before You Book

Advanced TRT Clinic is a telehealth services brand, not the medical group that treats you. Its About page says licensed clinicians through Beluga Health, P.A. provide the care. We could not find a complete provider-specific price, assigned clinician, dispensing pharmacy or patient-program cancellation terms on the public pages we reviewed. Get those details in writing before you pay.

That's the short answer to most Advanced TRT Clinic reviews questions. But there's one more thing you should see before you fill out that "free consultation" form. The Terms of Service you agree to on that form describe a very different kind of company. We'll show you exactly what they say, why the "400+ cities" claim doesn't mean what it sounds like, and the 12 questions that turn a vague sales call into a real decision.

Advanced TRT Clinic might fit you if: you want the free consultation the company advertises, you're comfortable with telehealth care, and you're willing to get the price, your clinician's name, the pharmacy, and the cancellation rules in writing before paying anything.

It's probably not for you if: you want to see the full price before you talk to anyone, you want to know your treating clinician's name up front, you need confirmed in-person care at a listed address, or you're trying to have children soon.

Which one is you?

Question What we found
What is it? A telehealth services platform that calls itself a management services organization (MSO). It says it handles intake, lab logistics and support while Beluga Health, P.A. handles clinical care.
Who treats you? Provider-stated: licensed, board-certified physicians through Beluga Health, P.A. The site does not name the clinician who would treat you.
Real local clinics? Its Locations page says 400+ cities and describes clinics; its About page says care is delivered entirely by telehealth and you do not need to be near a physical clinic.
Price No complete Advanced TRT Clinic-specific fee schedule found on the public pages we reviewed
Medication and pharmacy Exact testosterone product and dispensing pharmacy not disclosed on the pages we reviewed
Cancellation and refunds The public Terms of Service do not provide patient-program cancellation or refund terms
Review signal Trustindex: 15 reviews, 5.0 as of October 9, 2026; the company's own Ocoee page also displays a detailed negative customer report
Registered as Provider-stated: Florida fictitious business name (DBA), registration G26000093245, dated July 8, 2026
States "All 50 states + D.C." (company-stated; treatment availability may vary by state)
Our take Clear medical-group structure. Important price, pharmacy, clinician and patient-term gaps. Ask first, pay second.

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.

Our disclosure, up front: TRT Provider Guide earns commissions from Male Excel, Hone Health and Taurus, which we compare later on this page. Advanced TRT Clinic does not pay us and has no relationship with us. That didn't change a single fact below. Every claim links to the company's own page or a public record, with the date we checked it.

Is Advanced TRT Clinic legit?

Advanced TRT Clinic has a disclosed operating structure: the brand describes itself as a telehealth/MSO platform, while Beluga Health, P.A. provides the clinical care. What it lacks is complete public enrollment transparency. As of October 9, 2026, we could not find a complete provider-specific price, the treating clinician assigned to a new patient, the dispensing pharmacy, or patient-program cancellation terms, and its public Terms, Locations and About pages describe the relationship in materially different ways.

So, legit? The evidence supports an operating telehealth/MSO brand with a named medical-group partner; it does not justify treating the brand itself as the medical practice. Vial, an independent public-records site, reported that its October 2026 searches found no FDA, OIG or DEA enforcement actions tied to Advanced TRT Clinic in the records it checked. That is a useful compliance signal, not proof of clinical quality or legal clearance in every state.

But "legit" and "easy to trust with your money" are not the same thing. Here's the test we use for any TRT provider, and how Advanced TRT Clinic did on each part:

Advanced TRT Clinic review table 2: Is Advanced TRT Clinic legit?
Legitimacy test What a good provider shows Advanced TRT Clinic (Oct 2026)
A licensed prescriber in your state Names the medical group and lets you check the doctor ✅ Medical group named (Beluga Health, P.A.). ❌ No doctor named.
Labs before a prescription Says testing comes first ✅ About page says no treatment without lab results and a physician review
Clear medication and pharmacy Names the drug type and who fills it ❌ Not disclosed
Written price and terms Publishes price, cancellation, refunds ❌ Not published
Independent reviews A track record on a platform it doesn't control ⚠️ Trustindex shows 15 reviews at 5.0; the sample is small and reviews do not verify medical quality or current policy

That's two "yes" answers and a lot of blanks. Blanks aren't proof of anything bad. They're just questions you have to ask before you pay, instead of after.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.

What we actually verified about Advanced TRT Clinic

We reviewed the key public pages on Advanced TRT Clinic's website on October 9, 2026, checked the Beluga Health entity trail against public NPI data, reviewed the review sources we could verify, and compared what the company's Terms, Locations and About pages say against one another. They do not describe the consumer experience the same way.

What we actually verified

  • Date checked: October 9, 2026
  • Sources: Advanced TRT Clinic's homepage, About page, Locations page, Terms of Service, testosterone and HGH service pages, its TRT cost article, and its Pomona, CA and Ocoee, FL location pages. Beluga Health's website. Public NPI data for Beluga entities. Trustindex. Vial's public-records profile. HHS, FDA, DEA, AUA and Endocrine Society sources for the medical and legal facts.
  • Verified facts: what the reviewed Advanced TRT Clinic pages currently say; that the site names Beluga Health, P.A. as the clinical group; that public NPI data show active Beluga Health PC entities, including NPI 1508573049 as a subpart whose parent is listed as Beluga Health, PA; that we did not find a complete Advanced TRT Clinic-specific fee schedule, a patient-specific prescriber name, a dispensing pharmacy or patient-program cancellation terms on the pages reviewed; and Trustindex's review count and rating on the check date.
  • Company-stated, not independently confirmed here: "all 50 states + D.C.," "board-certified physicians," HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, and the Florida DBA details displayed on its About page.
  • Not confirmed: the DBA's beneficial owner; whether a clinician sees patients in person at any particular listed address; the exact testosterone product a patient would receive; the dispensing pharmacy; or a complete all-in price.
  • What we did not do: we did not sign up as a patient, so this is not a hands-on review.

The three-documents problem

This is the finding no other Advanced TRT Clinic review we found has laid out. Each page below lives on advancedtrtclinic.com. Each one describes a different business.

Advanced TRT Clinic review table 3: The three-documents problem
Page Last updated (page data) What it says the company is
Terms of Service Current public page checked Oct. 9, 2026 Says Advanced TRT Clinic is not a medical institution, provides informational services to help users find specialists, and is not responsible for medical consultations or services provided by those specialists.
Locations page Current public page checked Oct. 9, 2026 Says Advanced TRT Clinic provides services in "over 400 cities," describes each "clinic" as having state-of-the-art facilities, and publishes city addresses.
About page Current public page checked Oct. 9, 2026 Says Advanced TRT Clinic is a technology/administrative platform and that care is delivered by Beluga Health, P.A. through telehealth; it says patients do not need to be near a physical clinic.

Why this matters: the consultation forms we reviewed link to the public Terms of Service, and those Terms do not set out the patient program's payment, refund or cancellation rules. That does not prove no separate patient agreement exists later in intake. Before paying, ask which entity's patient or membership agreement will govern your care and get a copy.

8 Results "within a few weeks" for many patients Homepage FAQ No data or source given Treat as marketing, not evidence
9 Registered business About page The company displays a Florida DBA registration number and July 8, 2026 registration date; we did not independently verify beneficial ownership Treat the registration details as provider-stated unless you check the state record directly

What the federal records show

Public NPI data reviewed on October 9, 2026 show multiple active Beluga Health PC entities. One California record, Beluga Health, PC (NPI 1508573049), is listed as an organization subpart with Beluga Health, PA as its parent. That is consistent with Advanced TRT Clinic naming Beluga Health, P.A. as its clinical group, although an NPI record alone does not prove which entity or clinician would treat a particular patient.

Vial reported it found no NPI match for Advanced TRT Clinic itself. That's not a red flag on its own. A management company that doesn't treat patients usually wouldn't have one. It does confirm what the About page says: the brand isn't the medical practice.

Who actually treats you at Advanced TRT Clinic?

Advanced TRT Clinic says licensed clinicians through Beluga Health, P.A. review your information, make clinical decisions and issue prescriptions when appropriate, while Advanced TRT Clinic handles non-clinical platform functions such as intake, lab logistics and support. Beluga provides clinical infrastructure to multiple digital-health brands, so the brand you see is not the same thing as the medical group making the prescription decision.

Here's how the pieces fit:

  1. You fill out the form and talk to Advanced TRT Clinic.
  2. Advanced TRT Clinic handles intake, lab scheduling and support.
  3. Beluga Health, P.A. provides the clinical evaluation through a clinician the company says is licensed for your state. That clinician reviews the relevant information and decides whether treatment is appropriate.
  4. A pharmacy fills the prescription. Advanced TRT Clinic doesn't say which one.

Is this setup bad? Not by itself. Similar platform/medical-group structures are used in telehealth. Taurus, one of the providers we compare below, identifies OpenLoop Health as a partner in its terms.

The useful difference is disclosure. Taurus's terms name its partner and four partner pharmacies. Advanced TRT Clinic names its medical group but did not identify the dispensing pharmacy on the public pages we reviewed.

How to check your clinician. Before you pay, ask for the treating clinician's full name, license type and state license number. Then look that person up on the relevant state licensing board's website. It is a direct way to confirm that the person responsible for your care holds an active license in your state.

If seeing your doctor's name first matters to you, Male Excel names its medical leaders on its site: Peter Fotinos, MD (Chief Medical Officer) and Lorna Brudie, DO (Medical Director), with an in-house team of licensed physicians. Meet Male Excel's medical team →

Does Advanced TRT Clinic have a real clinic near me?

Do not assume the city page you found is a staffed clinic you can walk into. Advanced TRT Clinic publishes hundreds of city pages with street addresses, while its About page says care is delivered entirely by telehealth and you do not need to be near a physical clinic. Before you drive anywhere, call and ask whether a clinician actually sees patients at that exact address.

Here's what two of those city pages look like:

Advanced TRT Clinic review table 5: Does Advanced TRT Clinic have a real clinic near me?
City page Address listed Other "locations" listed nearby
Pomona, CA 101 W Mission Blvd, 2nd Floor, Ste 218 Chino, Claremont and Diamond Bar, each about 4 miles away
Ocoee, FL 9582 W Colonial Dr, 2nd Floor, Ste 200 Winter Garden (3 miles), Orlando (4 miles), Apopka (9 miles)

Several location pages clustered only a few miles apart do not, by themselves, establish that each address is a staffed medical office. Combined with the company's own telehealth description, they are a reason to verify the exact location before assuming you can receive in-person care there.

One reviewer said the same thing in plain words. In a review shown on Advanced TRT Clinic's own Ocoee page, Jeff Elhoffer (June 24, 2025) wrote that the company didn't have an actual office where Google said it did. That's one person's report, not proof. But it's exactly the question you should ask before you go.

Be careful with directory sites, too. Some directories describe Advanced TRT Clinic as if it offers conventional local visits. The company's current About page says the intake, consultation, lab review and treatment initiation are handled by telehealth, with lab work potentially ordered to a local draw site. For the care model, use the company's own current disclosure and confirm any local in-person service directly.

Where your blood gets drawn. The About page says labs "may be ordered to a local draw site near you." Ask which lab company and what it costs.

If you want in-person care (pellets, a hands-on exam, or a complicated health history), a local urologist or endocrinologist is the better starting point. See our guide to how low testosterone is diagnosed for what that visit should include.

How much does Advanced TRT Clinic cost?

We could not calculate Advanced TRT Clinic's complete first-year cost from its public pages. As of October 9, 2026, we did not find an Advanced TRT Clinic-specific fee schedule showing the consultation, labs, membership, medication, follow-ups and shipping together. By comparison, current public offers from other telehealth providers can be modeled from their posted prices, but the total depends on the plan, medication and dose.

Don't confuse its cost article with its prices

Advanced TRT Clinic does have a blog post called "How Much Does TRT Cost? Complete Price Breakdown 2026." It's a general guide to market prices: generic testosterone, typical telehealth subscriptions, lab costs. It is not Advanced TRT Clinic's price list.

Here's the funny part. That article warns readers that an advertised price is rarely the total price, and tells them to always ask for a full cost breakdown before committing. Good advice. Use it on Advanced TRT Clinic.

What one customer says he was charged

In the Ocoee review mentioned above, the reviewer said he was charged $100 for an information consultation, was then told about a monthly subscription of over $100, and would still have to pay the pharmacy for the medicine. He said his $100 wasn't refunded. He also praised the phone rep's customer service.

We couldn't confirm those amounts as the company's current pricing. Treat it as one customer's experience, not a fee schedule. But notice the gap: the website says the consultation is free. Ask exactly what "free" covers.

First-year cost: Advanced TRT Clinic vs providers that publish prices

Advanced TRT Clinic review table 6: First-year cost: Advanced TRT Clinic vs providers that publish prices
Provider How the year adds up (from each company's own pages, Oct 9, 2026) Estimated first year Not included
Advanced TRT Clinic No prices published Can't be calculated Everything is unknown until you ask
Male Excel $99 consultation + $99/month membership × 12 + injectable medication from $120/month × 12 About $2,727 Shipping and handling
Hone Health $65 initial biomarker test + $155/month Premium membership × 12 + compounded testosterone cream from $60/month × 12 About $2,645 Dose-dependent medication changes or other prescribed items
Taurus Current TRT campaign: $49 blood test/consult + $149/month advertised medication price × 12 About $1,837 if that campaign's "all inclusive" terms apply for all 12 months Taurus's separate Terms also state a $17.99 recurring membership fee unless otherwise stated at purchase; confirm whether that fee is waived for this offer

Medication prices are starting prices where noted. Your prescription, dose, billing cadence and shipping can change the total. These are reproducible examples from current public offers, not guaranteed patient bills.

Insurance: We did not find a clear Advanced TRT Clinic insurance-billing policy on the pages reviewed. If using insurance or obtaining a specific FDA-approved product through a covered pharmacy is central to your decision, start with your insurer and an in-network primary care clinician, urologist or endocrinologist rather than assuming a cash-pay telehealth program will bill your plan.

If seeing the full price before you talk to anyone is a must, Male Excel publishes its numbers: a $99/month membership, injectable medication starting at $120/month, and no contract on its medication plans. See Male Excel's current pricing →

What do Advanced TRT Clinic reviews actually say?

The independent review footprint we could verify is small. Trustindex shows 15 reviews and a 5.0 rating as of October 9, 2026, while Advanced TRT Clinic's own city pages display small sets of reviews and testimonials. That is enough to surface customer-experience signals, but not enough to use star ratings as proof of medical quality, current policy or typical results.

Where the reviews live

Advanced TRT Clinic review table 8: Where the reviews live
Source Count and rating (Oct 9, 2026) Who controls what you see How much weight to give it
Trustindex 15 reviews, 5.0 Independent review platform; Advanced TRT Clinic has a claimed profile and displays the reviews on its site Small sample. Useful for service patterns, not medical conclusions.
Reviews displayed on city pages Small sets vary by city; the Ocoee page includes the detailed Jeff Elhoffer complaint quoted below Displayed by the company, attributed to named reviewers Useful as individual customer-experience signals; not proof of company-wide policy.
Testimonials on the site Short first-name/initial testimonials repeat across pages The company Lowest weight because selection and context are controlled by the provider.

The good

Most reviews are short and positive. The most useful ones talk about service, not health results. One Trustindex reviewer, Lyle Ritchie (December 26, 2025), said he liked that the clinic was straightforward, with "no pressure, just clear info."

The cautionary

The Ocoee review is the most detailed one we found. It raises the exact issues a careful buyer worries about: an office that wasn't where Google said, a consultation fee, a subscription on top, medication billed separately, and no refund. Again, that's one person. But it's displayed on the company's own website, which is worth knowing.

What reviews can't tell you

Reviews can't tell you whether TRT is safe or right for you, what's in your medication, whether a policy applies to everyone, or what you'll pay today. Many Advanced TRT Clinic reviews describe feeling younger, stronger or more energetic. Those are personal stories. They don't prove the treatment works, and no review can.

12 things to confirm before you pay Advanced TRT Clinic

Get these 12 answers in writing, by email, text or the provider's secure message system, before you give a card number. A transparent provider should be able to give you clear answers or tell you exactly when a patient-specific answer becomes available. If a material cost or cancellation term stays vague until after payment, treat that as part of the decision.

This is our Before-You-Pay Scorecard. The middle column shows what Advanced TRT Clinic publishes today. The right column is what you ask.

Advanced TRT Clinic review table 9: 12 things to confirm before you pay Advanced TRT Clinic
# What to confirm What Advanced TRT Clinic publishes (Oct 9, 2026) Ask this
1 Total first-year cost Nothing "What will I pay for the first 3 months and the first 12 months, all in?"
2 Consultation fee "Free" "Is there any charge before I see a doctor? Is it refundable?"
3 Membership Nothing "Is there a monthly fee? Does it auto-renew?"
4 Labs "Lab work may be ordered"; provider says no treatment without lab results and physician review "Which lab, what does it cost, and how do you meet the repeat early-morning testosterone testing used to confirm a new diagnosis?"
5 Your doctor "Board-certified physicians" "What is my doctor's full name and state license number?"
6 Medication Injections, topicals, pellets "Exactly which product? Is it FDA-approved or compounded?"
7 Pharmacy Nothing "Which pharmacy fills my prescription, and in which state?"
8 Commitment Nothing "Is there a minimum number of months?"
9 Cancellation Nothing "How do I cancel, how much notice, and is there a fee?"
10 Refunds Nothing "If the doctor decides TRT isn't right for me, what do I get back?"
11 In-person option Street addresses on city pages "Can a clinician see me in person at the address on your Google listing?"
12 Fertility and records Nothing "How do you handle fertility before testosterone? How do I get my medical records?"

What good answers sound like: specific dollar amounts, a clinician name you can verify, a named pharmacy, and a cancellation rule you can read. What weak answers sound like: material costs or terms that stay undefined until after you have paid.

If you still want to try them after this, that's a fair choice. Visit Advanced TRT Clinic's website (we're not paid for this link) and keep their written answers.

Already an Advanced TRT Clinic patient?

Ask in writing for your doctor's name and license number, your pharmacy's name, your lab results and your medical records. Keep copies. Don't stop or change testosterone on your own. Talk with your prescriber first. If you switch providers later, your records and labs make the move much easier.

What does Advanced TRT Clinic offer, and what needs extra care?

The site advertises testosterone, HGH therapy, peptides, GLP-1 weight-management care and sexual-health services. Two details need extra scrutiny: testosterone pellets require an implantation procedure even though the About page describes treatment initiation as telehealth, and federal law restricts distribution of HGH to authorized disease or recognized medical-condition uses under a physician's order—not anti-aging, bodybuilding or athletic enhancement.

Testosterone formats

Advanced TRT Clinic's public pages mention several testosterone treatment formats, including injections, topical products and pellets; some location/service copy also mentions patches. The site does not identify the exact testosterone product a new patient would receive. That matters because FDA-approved products and compounded preparations are different regulatory categories:

  • FDA-approved testosterone products have gone through FDA review for their approved uses, including safety, effectiveness and manufacturing quality.
  • Compounded testosterone preparations are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review a compounded drug's safety, effectiveness or quality before it is marketed.

The AUA recommends commercially manufactured testosterone products rather than compounded testosterone when possible. Ask for the exact product, whether it is FDA-approved or compounded, and the dispensing pharmacy before assuming the regulatory status.

Pellets on an online-only platform

Pellets are small implants placed under the skin. Advanced TRT Clinic's own testosterone page says pellets need a minor office procedure. Its About page says care is 100% telehealth. Ask who would place them, where, and what it costs before you pick this option.

HGH

Advanced TRT Clinic's homepage says HGH therapy can raise growth hormone "to maximum output" and help physical performance. Its About page says HGH is for adults with confirmed growth hormone deficiency.

The second statement is the one that matches the law. The FDA says federal law (21 U.S.C. §333(e)) prohibits distributing HGH for any use other than diseases or conditions the government has authorized, and that no HGH use for anti-aging, bodybuilding or athletic performance has been authorized. Mixed messaging on a drug this tightly controlled is a reason for caution.

Peptides and weight loss

Many peptides sold through wellness clinics are not FDA-approved. If you're offered one, ask for the exact drug name, the pharmacy that makes it, and whether it's FDA-approved. GLP-1 weight-loss care is outside the scope of this page.

Can Advanced TRT Clinic prescribe testosterone without seeing you in person?

Federal rules currently allow a DEA-registered practitioner to prescribe a Schedule II-V controlled substance by telemedicine without a prior in-person medical evaluation when the required conditions are met. HHS and DEA extended those temporary flexibilities through December 31, 2026. State law, licensure, DEA requirements and the legitimate-medical-purpose standard still apply, so this is not a blanket guarantee that every patient can receive testosterone entirely online.

A few things to know:

  • Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. It requires a valid prescription, and controlled-substance prescribing rules apply.
  • The extension doesn't loosen the basics. HHS says prescriptions must still be for a legitimate medical purpose, written by licensed practitioners, and follow federal and state law.
  • States can add their own rules. Advanced TRT Clinic's About page admits some states have extra steps.

This affects every online TRT provider, not just this one. Male Excel's site, for example, already warns that DEA and state laws may require an in-person exam. Ask any provider: "If the federal rule changes in 2027, will I need an in-person visit, and where?"

Before any TRT provider: the medical basics that protect you

Low testosterone should not be diagnosed from a quiz, symptoms alone or one lab value. The AUA calls for symptoms or signs plus two separate early-morning total testosterone measurements, while the Endocrine Society calls for compatible symptoms/signs and unequivocally, consistently low testosterone confirmed with repeat morning fasting testing. If near-term fertility matters, discuss that before testosterone because exogenous testosterone can suppress sperm production.

These rules apply whether you choose Advanced TRT Clinic, an online provider we recommend, or your local doctor.

How low testosterone is diagnosed

  • The AUA says a diagnosis should only be made after two total testosterone tests on separate days, both taken early in the morning, along with symptoms or signs. Total testosterone is the overall amount of testosterone in your blood. The AUA uses below 300 ng/dL as a reasonable cutoff to support the diagnosis, not as a diagnosis on its own.
  • The Endocrine Society says to diagnose low testosterone (hypogonadism) only when symptoms and signs line up with testosterone levels that are clearly and consistently low, confirmed with a repeat morning test.
  • The Endocrine Society also recommends checking LH and FSH. These are brain hormones that tell the testicles to make testosterone. They help show whether the problem starts in the testicles or the brain.

If you are being evaluated for a new diagnosis and a provider proposes testosterone before the diagnostic testing is complete, ask how the clinician is meeting the applicable guideline standard and whether any prior valid laboratory results change the plan. More here: do you need two low testosterone tests for TRT?

Fertility comes first

Testosterone from outside the body can reduce sperm production. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone in men planning to have children in the near term, and the AUA says men who care about fertility should have a reproductive health check before treatment.

If kids are in your plans soon, start with a urologist or reproductive urologist, not any online TRT program. Read more: does TRT affect fertility?

Who shouldn't start testosterone

The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone therapy in men planning near-term fertility and in several higher-risk situations, including breast or prostate cancer, elevated hematocrit, untreated severe obstructive sleep apnea, severe lower urinary tract symptoms, uncontrolled heart failure, myocardial infarction or stroke within the last six months, or thrombophilia. It also calls for urologic evaluation before treatment in specified PSA/nodule situations rather than treating one PSA number as a stand-alone rule. See who should not take TRT.

Monitoring is part of the deal

Safe treatment means follow-up visits and blood work to check your testosterone, hematocrit and, when appropriate, PSA. Ask any provider what's monitored, how often, and whether it's included. Our guide: how often you need bloodwork on TRT.

Get urgent care right away for chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden leg pain or swelling, or signs of a stroke.

Not sure if TRT, a fertility specialist or better testing should come first? That's exactly what our free tool is for. Map your care route with Find My TRT Path → It's educational, doesn't diagnose you, and doesn't guarantee a prescription. It helps you figure out where to start and what to ask.

Advanced TRT Clinic vs Male Excel, Hone Health and Taurus

All four market online testosterone care, but their public disclosures differ. Male Excel and Hone publish current membership and medication pricing; Taurus has a current $49 test/consult and $149/month TRT campaign but separate terms that also mention a recurring membership fee unless otherwise stated; Advanced TRT Clinic does not publish enough provider-specific pricing for us to calculate its first-year cost. Pick based on the facts you can verify before you pay.

  • You want a published price and a publicly named medical leadership team before anything else → Male Excel
  • You want labs first and a month-to-month membership → Hone Health
  • An FDA-approved testosterone product matters most to you → do not choose from a homepage badge. Ask for the exact product and pharmacy. A local or in-network primary care clinician, urologist or endocrinologist may be the clearer path when a specific FDA-approved product or insurance coverage is the priority.
  • You live in AL, AK, AR, CT, HI, ID, LA, MN, MS, NH or RI → Male Excel doesn't serve your state. Check Hone or Taurus, or use Find My TRT Path.
  • You're trying to conceive in the next year or two → a reproductive urologist first. Not any online TRT program.
  • You've had one low test, or none → get two early-morning tests first
  • You like Advanced TRT Clinic's free first call → use the 12-point scorecard and get answers in writing

Male Excel: best for readers who want the price and the doctor up front

Bottom line: Male Excel shows you nearly everything Advanced TRT Clinic doesn't, before you share a single health detail.

  • Price: $99/month membership. A $99 online medical consultation is required to start. Medication is billed separately: injectable testosterone starts at $120/month and cream at $132/month, each sold as a 60-day supply and billed every other month, plus shipping. Using the starting injectable price, the reproducible first-year example is $99 + ($99 × 12) + ($120 × 12) = $2,727 plus shipping.
  • What the membership includes: Male Excel says membership includes dedicated provider continuity, unlimited messaging/e-visits, structured 60-day follow-ups and comprehensive blood testing every 6 months.
  • Who treats you: an in-house team of licensed physicians led by Peter Fotinos, MD and Lorna Brudie, DO.
  • Labs: Male Excel says its testing is processed through Excel Medical Labs, a CLIA-certified laboratory in North Carolina, and its starter process uses an at-home finger-prick blood-spot test. Its public starter panel does not by itself establish the separate repeat early-morning serum testing used in guideline-based diagnosis, so ask how that requirement is handled for a new diagnosis.
  • States: all except Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
  • Guarantee: follow your provider's plan for 90 days. If your symptoms don't improve, Male Excel says it will refund your three months of membership fees. Read the guarantee terms before you rely on it.
  • Reviews: Male Excel publishes Trustpilot-linked patient stories on its site. One attributed testimonial from Michael Napoli says the practitioner and shipping team were "responsive and effective." Treat that as one customer's service experience, not evidence of medical efficacy.

The honest tradeoff. Male Excel says its testosterone treatments are compounded, and compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. If a specific FDA-approved testosterone product is your priority, ask a clinician and pharmacy about that exact product rather than assuming another telehealth brand's general "FDA-approved medications" claim settles the question. Male Excel's advantage for this comparison is narrower: it publishes its starting prices, names its medical leaders and describes its laboratory process more clearly than Advanced TRT Clinic does publicly.

One more thing to know. Male Excel's current homepage says that, when clinically appropriate, its providers may prescribe based on symptoms and health history before lab results arrive. For a new diagnosis of testosterone deficiency, that public statement does not describe the usual AUA/Endocrine Society diagnostic pathway of compatible symptoms/signs plus consistently low testosterone confirmed with repeat morning testing. If you do not already have a properly established diagnosis, ask exactly how the clinician will complete that diagnostic work before prescribing.

Hone Health: best for a lab-first, month-to-month membership

Bottom line: Hone prices its testing and memberships up front, uses a lab-first public workflow, and says there are no commitments and you can cancel anytime.

  • Price: Hone's Premium path lists a $65 initial biomarker test and $155/month membership, with medication extra. Basic is $25/month; its current comparison table also lists a $25 test plus a $25 onboarding fee for Basic. Testosterone injections start at $28/month, while compounded cream and troches start at $60/month.
  • Labs: Hone advertises 50+ biomarker testing at more than 2,000 lab locations, with at-home options where available; Premium currently lists testing every three months and Basic every six months.
  • Who treats you: Hone says licensed, board-certified physicians conduct private video visits; its current How It Works page publicly names several physicians.
  • Commitment: month-to-month, cancel anytime. HSA/FSA eligible.
  • Tradeoff: medication is billed on top of membership, so your monthly total depends on what's prescribed.

Taurus: best for readers who want named partner pharmacies and a low advertised TRT starting price

Bottom line: Taurus publishes more back-end partner information than Advanced TRT Clinic and currently advertises a $49 test/consult plus $149/month TRT offer, but its sales pages and general Terms do not line up cleanly enough to treat that as a fully settled all-in annual price without confirmation.

  • Behind the scenes: Taurus Medical, Inc. names OpenLoop Health as a partner and lists four partner pharmacies in its terms: RedRock Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Compounding Pharmacy and Triad Rx.
  • Medication: Taurus's homepage makes a general "FDA-approved medications" claim, while other Taurus product pages contain compounded-product disclosures. Do not assume the testosterone you would receive is FDA-approved. Ask for the exact product, manufacturer or compounder, and dispensing pharmacy.
  • Price: a current TRT campaign advertises a $49 blood test/consult and, if approved, medication at $149/month described as all inclusive. Separately, Taurus's Terms state a recurring $17.99 membership fee per billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase. Confirm in writing whether that fee is waived for the TRT offer and what "all inclusive" covers.
  • Commitment: subscriptions auto-renew. You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of your paid term.
  • Refunds: none on shipped medication or on blood tests once ordered.
  • Commercial disclosure: Taurus's Terms name OpenLoop Health as a partner and list RedRock Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Compounding Pharmacy and Triad Rx as partner pharmacies. A partner list does not tell you which pharmacy will fill your prescription.

If FDA-approved medication and a named pharmacy are your deciding factors, start Taurus's online TRT intake → A licensed clinician decides whether a prescription is appropriate.

How we researched Advanced TRT Clinic

We followed our published method, How We Review TRT Providers. It separates verified facts, company claims, customer reports and our own conclusions, and it calculates full cost instead of repeating a teaser price. We didn't become a patient. We documented the company's own pages, public records and review platforms, with dates.

What we checked, all on October 9, 2026 unless noted:

  • Advanced TRT Clinic's homepage, About page, Locations page, Terms of Service, testosterone and HGH pages, TRT cost article, and its Pomona and Ocoee location pages, including each page's last-updated date
  • Beluga Health's website and the federal NPI registry
  • Trustindex and the reviews displayed on Advanced TRT Clinic's own location pages
  • Vial's public-records profile (checked by Vial on October 5 and 7, 2026)
  • Male Excel, Hone Health and Taurus pricing, terms and service pages
  • HHS's January 2, 2026 announcement on telemedicine prescribing, DEA's controlled-substance schedule, FDA's HGH and compounding materials, the AUA testosterone guideline, and the Endocrine Society testosterone guideline

What would make this a hands-on review: going through intake as a patient, with a dated record of every charge, message and answer. We haven't done that, so we don't call this a hands-on review.

Advanced TRT Clinic, if you're reading this: send us current documentation of your prices, clinician disclosure, dispensing-pharmacy arrangement or patient terms, and we'll review it and update this page.

Advanced TRT Clinic FAQ

Is Advanced TRT Clinic a scam?

We found evidence of an operating telehealth/MSO brand with a named medical-group partner, and Vial reported no FDA, OIG or DEA actions in the federal records it checked. That does not prove quality or state-by-state compliance. The bigger issue is incomplete public enrollment information: no complete provider-specific price, assigned clinician, dispensing pharmacy or patient-program cancellation terms were found on the pages we reviewed.

Is Advanced TRT Clinic a real medical clinic?

Advanced TRT Clinic says the brand itself is not a medical institution and describes itself as a management services organization/technology platform. It says clinical care is provided by independent licensed professionals through Beluga Health, P.A.

Where is Advanced TRT Clinic located?

It says it serves more than 400 cities and publishes city pages with street addresses, but its About page says care is delivered entirely by telehealth and that you do not need to be near a physical clinic. Call before traveling to a listed address and confirm whether anyone provides in-person clinical care there.

Is Advanced TRT Clinic the same company as Beluga Health?

No. Advanced TRT Clinic describes itself as the platform/MSO, while Beluga Health, P.A. is the independent medical group it names for clinical care.

How much does Advanced TRT Clinic cost?

We could not find a complete Advanced TRT Clinic-specific public fee schedule. One customer, in a review shown on the company's Ocoee page, reported a $100 information-consultation charge, a monthly subscription above $100 and separate medication costs. Those amounts are one customer report, not verified current pricing, so get a written all-in quote.

Is the Advanced TRT Clinic consultation really free?

The current About page advertises a free first consultation. One reviewer displayed on the Ocoee page reported a $100 information-consultation charge. We could not reconcile those two statements, so confirm exactly what is free and whether any charge can occur before the clinician evaluation.

Does Advanced TRT Clinic take insurance?

It doesn't say. Ask directly. If you want insurance to cover treatment, a primary care doctor, urologist or endocrinologist is usually the better route.

Which pharmacy does Advanced TRT Clinic use?

It doesn't say. Ask which pharmacy will fill your prescription and whether the medication is FDA-approved or compounded.

Can I get testosterone pellets from Advanced TRT Clinic?

It lists pellets as an option, but pellets need an in-office procedure and its care model is 100% online. Ask who would place them, where and at what cost.

Does Advanced TRT Clinic offer HGH?

Yes, it advertises HGH. Federal law only allows HGH for specific diagnosed conditions. It can't legally be distributed for anti-aging or performance.

Can Advanced TRT Clinic prescribe testosterone entirely online?

Federal temporary flexibilities currently allow qualifying DEA-registered practitioners to prescribe Schedule II-V controlled substances by telemedicine without a prior in-person medical evaluation when required conditions are met, through December 31, 2026. State law, licensure and other prescribing requirements still apply, and the federal framework may change after that date.

Can I use Advanced TRT Clinic if I want kids?

Talk about fertility before any testosterone. Testosterone can lower sperm production. If you're trying to conceive soon, start with a urologist or reproductive urologist.

How do I cancel Advanced TRT Clinic?

No cancellation terms are published. Ask for them in writing before you pay. You can contact the company at info@advancedtrtclinic.com or 866-774-2282.

What's a good alternative to Advanced TRT Clinic?

It depends on what you need to see first. Male Excel publishes its price and names its medical leaders. Hone Health offers lab-first, month-to-month care. Taurus names its pharmacies. See the comparison above.
