Northeast Men's Health TRT Cost (2026): What the $99 Visit Doesn't Tell You

We earn commissions from some online providers mentioned on this page. We have no relationship with Northeast Men's Health.

This page is educational information, not medical advice. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, or another medical emergency, seek emergency care.

Northeast Men's Health TRT cost starts with a $99 first visit — but that's not the price of treatment. Northeast Men's Health (NEMH) does not publish a current TRT plan price. In public BBB responses, NEMH describes time-based treatment plans, a six-month minimum, optional third-party financing, and early-exit calculations based on shorter treatment periods and services already rendered.

That last part is where most of the money can be won or lost. Below are the dated NEMH plan-price examples we could verify in public records, how the clinic says early cancellation works, and what to get in writing before you sign anything.

Question Answer (verified October 19, 2026)
First visit $99 on NEMH's FAQ. In an April 2026 BBB reply, NEMH said it waives the fee for people who begin a treatment plan. Several NEMH pages also use "free appointment" buttons.
What the visit includes NEMH says the first visit includes a consultation with a licensed medical provider, a blood test including total testosterone and PSA, and a test dose of medication if medically advised.
Posted TRT plan price None found. NEMH does not publish a current TRT plan price on the public pages we checked.
Dated plan-price examples Public BBB records contain patient-reported or case-specific totals ranging from $1,899 for a reported six-month price to $9,999 for a reported 36-month loan. These are not a current NEMH price list.
How you pay NEMH says patients may pay for care and may also elect independent third-party medical financing.
Minimum commitment In a June 2026 BBB response, NEMH said its signed Consent for Treatment requires at least six months of therapy. Verify the agreement you are offered today.
If you quit early NEMH says early cancellation is recalculated using the applicable shorter treatment period/current pricing structure and the value of services rendered rather than simple month-by-month proration.
Insurance NEMH says it does not process insurance in the office and can provide documentation for insurance claims.
HSA NEMH says many patients use HSA accounts. Confirm your own HSA rules, especially if a lender is involved.
Low-T medication status NEMH's Low-T page says its featured therapies are compounded and are not FDA-approved. That does not establish the status of every product a clinician could prescribe.

Best for: Men in New England who want face-to-face concierge care and are willing to review a personalized written quote and treatment agreement before committing.

Not for you if: You want to see the full treatment price before you walk in, want simple month-to-month billing, need the clinic to bill insurance, or want an easy-to-calculate early exit.

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.

What we actually verified — October 19, 2026

  • Sources checked: NEMH's FAQ, Low-T, concierge Low-T, locations, homepage/landing-page material, and Terms pages; public BBB complaint and customer-review records and NEMH's written replies; AUA and Endocrine Society guidance; FDA and DEA pages; HHS/DEA's 2026 telemedicine notice; the FTC Cooling-Off Rule page; and current Male Excel and Taurus Meds pricing pages.
  • Confirmed on NEMH's own public site: $99 first visit and what it includes · no in-office insurance processing · HSA language · 8 office locations · no public TRT plan price found · featured Low-T therapies described as compounded and not FDA-approved · concierge features including treatment-related office access, medication adjustments, and free prescription shipping.
  • Stated by NEMH in public BBB replies: time-based plans rather than subscriptions · independent third-party financing may be used · a six-month minimum in the treatment agreement described in June 2026 · longer commitments can receive time-based discounts · early cancellation uses shorter treatment-period/current pricing and services-rendered calculations · financed-account adjustments are sent to the lender.
  • Customer-experience signals, not current price quotes: individual plan totals, loan payments, sales-pressure allegations, communication complaints, and cancellation outcomes. Every number below is labeled by source.
  • What we could not independently confirm: NEMH's current price list · a complete cancellation-price schedule · the pharmacy that would fill a new reader's prescription · a universal repeat-early-morning-testing rule before TRT · NEMH's fertility protocol.
  • What we did not do: We did not visit an office, sign a plan, contact support as a patient, receive treatment, or inspect a new patient's contract. This is a cost guide based on public records, not a hands-on review.

How much does Northeast Men's Health TRT cost?

Northeast Men's Health does not post a current TRT plan price. Its first visit is $99, and public records show case-specific treatment plans with different lengths and totals. Those records are useful for understanding the size and structure of past commitments, but they are not a current NEMH price list.

We reviewed the public BBB complaint and customer-review records that were available in this audit, including NEMH's written replies, and pulled out the usable price examples. NEMH's concierge Low-T page lists "Transparent Pricing" as a feature. The public page itself does not show a TRT treatment price.

36 months $5,999 Yes in complaint narrative Patient stopped after about 3 months; NEMH's response supported a $1,299 short-term charge in the case Customer amount + NEMH response Jul 2024
36 months $4,999 Core treatment name partly redacted; peptide add-on discussed Dispute later involved a $2,800 balance and an additional $750 settlement refund Customer amount + NEMH response Jul–Aug 2026
36 months $9,999 loan Treatment name not fully visible in the BBB review Reviewer said cancellation began within days; paperwork later showed $5,701 returned to the lender and $4,298 retained for services rendered Customer review; NEMH answered generally Feb–Apr 2026
5 years Over $5,000 Treatment name redacted Customer reported prescription delays; NEMH said it provided complimentary treatment to resolve the complaint Customer report + NEMH response Apr–May 2026

These figures are not NEMH's current menu. Some are patient-reported, some come from NEMH's own responses, some treatment names are redacted, and quotes can differ by treatment, date, office, term, and what is included.

Three things jump out:

  1. The same nominal term can carry different reported totals. That alone is enough reason not to publish one complaint figure as "the Northeast Men's Health price."
  2. A monthly loan payment is not the monthly price of medical care. It is a financing payment tied to a larger agreement.
  3. Early-exit math matters. In the public cases with enough figures to calculate it, the amount retained or billed after early cancellation was not a simple "months used ÷ plan months" proration.

Our bottom line on price: Treat any Northeast Men's Health quote as a three-part number — the total treatment price, the financing cost if you borrow, and the exact amount NEMH says you would owe if you stopped early. If you only hear a monthly payment, you have not heard the whole price.

Is the Northeast Men's Health first visit $99 or free?

NEMH's FAQ says the first office visit is $99. In an April 2026 BBB reply, NEMH said the standard $99 fee is waived for people who choose to begin a treatment plan. Several current NEMH pages also use "free appointment" buttons, so confirm the offer attached to your booking before you go.

Per NEMH's FAQ, the $99 visit covers:

  • A confidential consultation with a licensed medical provider
  • A blood test that includes total testosterone and PSA (prostate-specific antigen)
  • A test dose of medication, if medically advised

Here's the catch. If the $99 is waived only when you start a treatment plan, the "free" visit and the treatment commitment are connected. Paying the $99 and taking time to review your results and written quote can be worth more than saving $99 if you are unsure about a multi-month agreement.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.

How do Northeast Men's Health treatment plans work?

NEMH says it uses time-based treatment plans rather than subscriptions. Public records show plans with different lengths, and NEMH says patients who do not pay in full may choose independent third-party medical financing. That means a loan payment can look monthly even though the underlying medical agreement is a longer-term commitment.

In a March 2026 BBB reply, NEMH said plainly that it "does not offer subscription services." That changes how you should read every monthly number you hear in the room.

Treatment price vs. monthly payment

This is the single most useful thing on this page. A monthly financing payment is not the monthly cost of TRT.

Say you hear "$225 a month." In one public record, $224.92 was the payment on a $2,699 12-month loan. In another case, a multi-year plan used financing too. The payment tells you how the debt is being collected. It does not tell you whether the treatment itself is month to month.

So ask for these, in this order:

  1. The total treatment-plan price
  2. The treatment-plan length
  3. If financing: the amount financed, APR, finance charge, number of payments, and total of payments
  4. What you'd owe if you stopped early

If you finance, you are dealing with two agreements

NEMH says the clinic treatment agreement and the third-party credit agreement are separate.

  • The clinic agreement sets the medical plan, term, pricing, and cancellation rules.
  • The financing agreement is between you and the lender and governs the debt, interest, payment schedule, and lender terms.

Lenders named in public records include Affirm, Synchrony/CareCredit, and Alphaeon Credit. Those records do not prove that every lender is currently offered at every office.

What's included in the concierge model, per NEMH

NEMH's public pages advertise:

  • Unlimited office visits with providers about your treatment
  • Medication adjustments
  • Concierge support and follow-up access
  • Lab work included on its concierge Low-T page
  • Free shipping for prescriptions
  • Face-to-face consultations

Those are provider-stated program features. Your written quote should still say which visits, tests, prescriptions, supplies, and shipping are included in your plan.

What can cost extra

In a March 2026 BBB reply, NEMH said advanced treatments or certain peptide therapies can carry separate pharmacy and laboratory costs outside standard treatment bundles. If anything beyond the core plan comes up, ask whether it is included or added on top.

What happens if you cancel Northeast Men's Health early?

NEMH said in a June 2026 BBB response that its signed Consent for Treatment requires at least six months of therapy and that early cancellation is recalculated using the applicable shorter treatment period and current pricing structure. NEMH also says the value of services already rendered affects the adjustment, so this is not a simple month-by-month proration.

In plain English, NEMH's public explanation says:

  • Its clinical programs require a minimum of six months under the agreement it described.
  • Longer commitments can receive time-based discounts.
  • If you leave early, the calculation can move to the applicable shorter treatment period/current price rather than keeping the long-term discounted rate.
  • The adjustment also accounts for what NEMH calls services rendered.

NEMH has said "services rendered" can include medical diagnostics, specialized lab work, administrative processing, and custom-ordered medications that cannot be restocked or reused. Those are NEMH's statements about its policy; they are not independent findings that every charge in every dispute was correct.

NEMH also acknowledged in a June 2026 public response that the signed agreement in that dispute did not list every possible treatment-plan price for every treatment duration. That is why the shorter-term prices matter before you sign.

What early cancellation looked like in public cases

We used only cases with enough figures to show the arithmetic.

Northeast Men's Health TRT cost table 3: What early cancellation looked like in public cases
Plan Price on paper When the customer said treatment stopped/cancellation began Amount billed or retained in the record Share of plan price Source class
36 months $5,999 ~3 months $1,299 22% Customer complaint + NEMH response
24 months $4,699 ~5 months $2,199 47% NEMH response in BBB record
12 months $2,699 Month 7 $2,499 services-rendered value asserted in dispute 93% Customer figure; NEMH policy response
36 months $9,999 Within days $4,298 reported as retained/owed for services rendered 43% Customer review; NEMH general response

These are case records, not a promise of what your cancellation would cost.

Our read: the public examples show why the long-term "monthly equivalent" is not enough. Ask NEMH to calculate the early-exit amount for your exact agreement in dollars before you sign.

Do you get a three-day cooling-off period?

Do not assume you do. The FTC's federal Cooling-Off Rule generally covers certain sales made at your home, workplace/dorm, or a seller's temporary location; it generally does not create a three-day cancellation right for a purchase made at the seller's regular place of business. State law and your actual agreement can create different rights, so get legal advice if you need help with a specific contract.

The practical lesson is simpler: take your cooling-off time before you sign.

The Northeast Men's Health Quote Decoder

Bring the written quote home and separate four numbers.

What you'll need from NEMH:

  • Total treatment-plan price and plan length
  • Down payment
  • If financing: amount financed, APR, finance charge, number of payments, and total of payments
  • The regular prices that would apply to shorter treatment periods
  • What is included and what costs extra
  • The exact dollar amount NEMH says you would owe if you ended the agreement at specific points

What the decoder should show you:

  • Total cash outlay under the financing schedule: down payment + all scheduled loan payments
  • Treatment-plan monthly equivalent: treatment-plan price ÷ plan months
  • Financing premium: compare the lender's total of payments with the amount financed; do not assume the difference between a clinic quote and your payment math is all "interest"
  • Early-exit comparison: use NEMH's written cancellation figure, not a guessed prorated number
  • Break-even point: if NEMH gives you the shorter-term price schedule, compare when the longer-term discount actually becomes cheaper

Worked example from a public record: A $5,999 36-month plan has a paper monthly equivalent of about $167. In the 2024 BBB case, the short-term charge after roughly three months was $1,299, or about $433 per month of reported treatment time. That is a historical case calculation, not a forecast of your bill.

Does Northeast Men's Health take insurance or HSA?

NEMH says it does not process insurance in its offices. Its FAQ says it can provide documentation for insurance claims and that many patients use HSA accounts, but neither statement guarantees that your insurer or HSA administrator will reimburse a specific treatment, prepaid plan, or financing payment.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Insurance can change the math. If you have health insurance, check your own benefits, prior-authorization rules, covered products, network requirements, and laboratory coverage before you prepay a cash-pay program.
  • NEMH provides claim documentation, not a coverage promise. Its FAQ does not promise that an insurer will reimburse the bill.
  • HSA: NEMH says many patients use HSA accounts. If financing is involved, ask your HSA administrator which underlying medical expenses qualify and what documentation it requires.

Do not assume that "cash-pay clinic" means your insurer would have rejected every other care route.

NEMH's current Low-T page says its featured therapies are compounded and have not been approved or evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. NEMH also says those medications are dispensed by U.S.-based 503A compounding pharmacies licensed by state boards of pharmacy. Those are provider statements; ask which exact product and pharmacy would apply to you.

What that means:

  • FDA-approved testosterone products have gone through FDA review for their approved uses, manufacturing, labeling, safety, effectiveness, and quality.
  • Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. FDA says it does not verify the safety, effectiveness, or quality of compounded drugs before they are marketed.
  • A compounded medication is not automatically a "generic" substitute for an FDA-approved product, and the terms should not be used interchangeably.
  • Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance under federal law and requires a valid prescription from an appropriately authorized clinician.

Before you sign, ask:

  1. What is the exact medication and treatment format?
  2. Is the exact product compounded or FDA-approved?
  3. Which pharmacy will dispense it?
  4. If you want an FDA-approved product, can this clinic prescribe one, and what would that change about price and fulfillment?

Will NEMH confirm low testosterone before you pay for treatment?

Major guidelines do not diagnose testosterone deficiency from symptoms, one test, or one cutoff alone. The AUA says the diagnosis requires symptoms or signs plus low total testosterone and two separate early-morning total-testosterone measurements; the Endocrine Society also calls for symptoms or signs plus consistently low testosterone confirmed with repeat morning testing.

What the guidelines say

  • American Urological Association (AUA): low testosterone should be diagnosed only after two total-testosterone measurements on separate occasions, both in the early morning, and the clinical diagnosis also requires symptoms and/or signs. The AUA describes total testosterone below 300 ng/dL as a reasonable cutoff in support of diagnosis; it does not make one result below 300 a diagnosis by itself.
  • Endocrine Society: diagnose hypogonadism only in men with symptoms or signs and unequivocally and consistently low testosterone, with confirmation by repeating a morning fasting total-testosterone measurement.

What NEMH says publicly

In BBB responses, NEMH has said treatment decisions are not based on a single number alone and that it considers symptoms and objective data. It has also described running testosterone and PSA on in-office equipment while sending additional samples to an outside reference laboratory in at least one case.

What we could not establish from the public material is whether every prospective TRT patient receives a second separate early-morning total-testosterone test before treatment starts.

Before you commit, ask for:

  • Your lab report, including the collection time
  • The name of the laboratory or device that produced each result
  • Whether a second separate early-morning total-testosterone test will be obtained before TRT starts
  • What evaluation will be done to look for the cause of low testosterone rather than only treating the number

Who should start with a different care route?

A prepaid men's-health plan is not the right first stop for everyone.

  • You want children in the near term. Exogenous testosterone can suppress sperm production. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone therapy in men planning fertility in the near term; a reproductive urologist or fertility-aware specialist may be the better first stop.
  • You have major risk factors or unresolved findings. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone therapy in men with conditions including breast or prostate cancer, certain unevaluated prostate findings, elevated hematocrit, untreated severe obstructive sleep apnea, uncontrolled heart failure, myocardial infarction or stroke within the last six months, or thrombophilia.
  • Your testosterone is very low or your results are unusual, or you have suspected pituitary/testicular disease. Primary care, endocrinology, or urology may need to investigate the cause before a long-term treatment commitment.

Get emergency care now for chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, or a painful erection lasting more than four hours.

What should you ask before you sign at Northeast Men's Health?

Ask for the total treatment price, plan length, financing terms, applicable shorter-term prices, and the dollar amount NEMH says you would owe if you stopped early — all in writing. Then read the treatment agreement and any lender disclosure before you commit.

The 10-question pre-signing checklist

  1. What is the total treatment-plan price, how many months does it cover, and exactly what is included?
  2. What are the current prices of the shorter treatment periods that would be used if I cancel early?
  3. If I stop at month 1, 3, 6, 12, or 18, what dollar amount would I owe under this exact agreement? Please write it down.
  4. Which medication will I get — exact name, treatment format, compounded or FDA-approved — and which pharmacy fills it?
  5. Can I have my full lab report, with the laboratory/device and collection time?
  6. Will you obtain a second separate early-morning total-testosterone measurement before TRT starts?
  7. If I finance: which lender, what amount is financed, what APR and finance charge apply, how many payments are there, and what is the total of payments?
  8. Can I take the treatment agreement and financing disclosure home and sign later?
  9. How do you evaluate and counsel men who may want children?
  10. How do I get copies of my records and labs sent to my primary-care doctor or another clinician?

If the answers are clear and in writing, you can compare the offer. If a critical number is only verbal, you still do not have a complete quote.

Is Northeast Men's Health worth the cost for you?

NEMH can make sense if you live near one of its eight New England offices, want face-to-face concierge care, and are comfortable with a time-based treatment agreement after reviewing the full price and exit terms. It is a poor fit if you want published ongoing pricing, simple month-to-month billing, in-network insurance billing, or a cancellation cost you can see before the visit.

What NEMH does well on paper

  • Eight physical offices. NEMH lists locations in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
  • Concierge access. NEMH advertises unlimited treatment-related office visits, fast access, medication adjustments, and follow-up appointments.
  • Lab and shipping features. Its concierge Low-T page says lab work is included, and its public materials advertise free prescription shipping.
  • At least one refund complaint was later marked resolved by the reviewer. A 2025 BBB reviewer later stated that the promised refund arrived in the amount expected.

These are provider statements and individual experience signals, not a rating of medical quality.

What the BBB record says about friction

As of October 19, 2026, BBB showed 24 complaints in the prior three years, including 11 closed in the prior 12 months, and 8 customer reviews averaging 1 out of 5 stars. BBB also states that Northeast Men's Health is not BBB Accredited. BBB itself warns that reviews and complaints are consumer reports, not verified proof of every allegation.

Many of the public complaint/review records we checked center on:

  • Financing or confusion about the financial commitment
  • Early cancellation and the amount retained or still owed
  • Delay or communication problems during refund/cancellation handling
  • Disputes about what "services rendered" included
  • Allegations of sales pressure

Some records also contain medical-care allegations. NEMH disputes many allegations and repeatedly says its terms are reviewed and signed in writing.

One reviewer compared the experience to buying a "timeshare or new car." That is one person's experience, not proof of a universal sales practice.

The useful lesson is not "believe every complaint" or "ignore every complaint." It is this: the signed treatment and financing documents matter. Read them before you become financially committed.

Does this sound like you — local, comfortable with the concierge model, and ready to insist on the full price and exit math in writing? Then NEMH may still be worth evaluating.

Is TRT cheaper than Northeast Men's Health somewhere else?

It can be, but a clean price comparison is impossible until NEMH gives you a current written quote. Male Excel and Taurus Meds publish more of their starting prices online, which makes budgeting easier; that does not make either program medically better or appropriate for you.

Affiliate disclosure: TRT Provider Guide has affiliate relationships with Male Excel and Taurus Meds and may earn a commission from qualifying referrals. That does not change the NEMH findings above or the care route we recommend. Our How We Review TRT Providers method separates verified facts, provider statements, customer-experience signals, and editorial conclusions.

Care model In-person concierge offices Online Online

These are not equivalent care packages. The online totals are arithmetic models using advertised starting prices, not personal quotes or guaranteed 12-month bills.

Male Excel: best fit here if you want itemized public pricing and no advertised contract

Male Excel does not give you a New England storefront to walk into. If face-to-face care is your top priority, NEMH or a local clinician is the better comparison.

But Male Excel does publish the pieces of its current starting price: a $99 online consultation/test package, a required $99 monthly medical membership, and testosterone injections from $120 per month, supplied in 60-day blocks and billed every other month. Its current pricing page says "No Contract, Cancel Anytime."

  • Year-one advertised-rate model: $2,727 + shipping for the starting injection option
  • Treatment formats on the pricing page: testosterone cypionate injections and testosterone cream; it also sells a non-testosterone oral product
  • Know this: medication is separate from the $99 membership, the advertised testosterone packages include thyroid medication in the price description, and your price can change with the prescribed treatment/dose
  • State warning for NEMH readers: TRT Provider Guide's October 2026 public-source check found Male Excel excluded Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island from its published state list at that time. Confirm current state availability before paying.

If a posted price and no advertised contract matter most to you → See the full Male Excel cost breakdown

Taurus Meds: lower advertised base, but resolve the terms conflict first

Taurus's current campaign page advertises $49 for a blood test and consultation, then $149 per month for medication if prescribed, "all inclusive," with no membership fees. That produces a $1,837 base model over 12 treatment months.

The damaging admission belongs right beside that number: Taurus's general Terms separately describe a recurring $17.99 per billing period fee unless otherwise stated at purchase. Its campaign also advertises a 90-day guarantee minus lab and pharmacy fees, while other Taurus refund language can be narrower. Do not treat $1,837 as a guaranteed all-in bill until your checkout and written terms reconcile those points.

  • Advertised-base model: $1,837 for $49 intake + twelve $149 treatment months
  • Conditional model if the $17.99 fee applies monthly: $2,052.88
  • Testing: the campaign names Labcorp or Quest and says an at-home kit is available at no extra charge if you live more than 50 miles from either
  • Medication: Taurus's campaign describes compounded hormones; confirm the exact prescription and dispensing pharmacy
  • State availability: a complete current TRT state list was not established in the public material checked here

Your own doctor, urologist, or endocrinologist

If you have insurance, compare the in-network route too. Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your plan, deductible, copays, covered laboratory work, prior authorization, and the exact product prescribed; do not assume it will always be cheaper.

This route is especially important if the diagnosis is unclear, you need a work-up for the cause of low testosterone, you want to preserve near-term fertility, or you have a complex health history.

Already signed a Northeast Men's Health plan? What should you do this week?

Do not stop prescribed testosterone or another medication on your own because of a billing dispute. Get copies of everything you signed, ask NEMH in writing for the exact cancellation calculation, and confirm any loan adjustment directly with the lender. If you need legal advice about the agreement, use a qualified consumer-law resource in your state.

  1. Get your paperwork. Ask for your treatment agreement/Consent to Treat, itemized account record, prescription records, lab reports, and any financing agreement.
  2. Ask for the cancellation math in writing. Request the exact amount NEMH says you owe, the applicable shorter-treatment-period price, and every "services rendered" item used in the calculation.
  3. Read any new document before signing it. Public cases include adjusted superbills and, in at least one dispute, a release-of-claims agreement. Know what the document does before you sign.
  4. Contact the lender yourself. If NEMH says it is sending an adjustment or refund to the lender, ask the lender to confirm when the balance changes.
  5. Keep a record. Save emails, texts, billing statements, payment confirmations, and dated copies of the agreements.
  6. Talk to a clinician before changing treatment. Billing and medical decisions are separate. Read what stopping TRT involves.
  7. If you need consumer-help options, use your state's attorney general or consumer-protection agency and, for a financing problem, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau complaint portal. This is not legal advice.

How we researched Northeast Men's Health's TRT cost

We checked NEMH's public website and the BBB complaint and customer-review records available during this audit, including NEMH's written replies, then separated current provider-published facts from dated provider statements, customer reports, and our own calculations. We followed our How We Review TRT Providers method.

  • Verified current provider facts: what NEMH's website published on October 19, 2026, including the $99 visit, what it includes, insurance/HSA wording, locations, concierge features, and compounded-therapy disclaimer.
  • Provider-stated facts: what NEMH said in public BBB replies about time-based plans, independent third-party financing, the six-month minimum described in its agreement, early-cancellation calculations, and lender adjustments.
  • Customer-experience signals: individual plan prices, loan payments, sales-pressure allegations, communication problems, and cancellation outcomes. These do not establish NEMH's current price list or typical experience.
  • Our calculations and judgment: monthly-equivalent arithmetic, the rule to compare the total plan price rather than the loan payment, and the fit conclusions on this page.

We did not visit an NEMH office, sign a plan, take medicine, or speak with NEMH as a patient. If a public price or policy changes, the current provider document should replace the dated record here.

Northeast Men's Health TRT cost FAQ

How much is TRT at Northeast Men's Health per month?

There is no current public monthly TRT price we could verify. Public BBB records include case-specific totals and monthly loan payments, but those are not a current NEMH rate card. Get the total treatment-plan price and financing disclosure in writing.

Is the Northeast Men's Health consultation free?

NEMH's FAQ lists the first visit at $99. NEMH said in an April 2026 BBB response that the fee is waived for people who begin a treatment plan, and current site pages also use "free appointment" buttons. Confirm the offer attached to your booking.

What does the $99 visit include?

Per NEMH's FAQ: a consultation with a licensed medical provider, a blood test including total testosterone and PSA, and a test dose of medication if medically advised.

Does Northeast Men's Health take insurance?

NEMH says it does not process insurance in the office. Its FAQ says it can provide documentation for insurance claims, but it does not promise reimbursement.

Can you cancel Northeast Men's Health?

NEMH says its agreement described in a June 2026 public response requires at least six months and that early termination uses applicable shorter treatment periods/current pricing plus a services-rendered calculation rather than simple proration. Verify the exact agreement you are offered.

How long are Northeast Men's Health plans?

Public records show case-specific plans ranging from six months to multiple years, including a reported five-year agreement. That is historical evidence of plan lengths, not a current menu. NEMH's June 2026 response said its agreement required at least six months.

Does Northeast Men's Health use financing?

NEMH says patients who do not pay in full may elect independent third-party medical financing. Public records name lenders including Affirm, Synchrony/CareCredit, and Alphaeon Credit; available lenders can change.

Is Northeast Men's Health testosterone FDA-approved?

Do not assume either answer for every prescription. NEMH's Low-T page says its featured therapies are compounded and are not FDA-approved. Ask for the exact medication, manufacturer or compounding pharmacy, and approval status of the product proposed for you.

Are labs included?

NEMH's concierge Low-T page says "Lab Work Included," and its $99 first visit includes a blood test with total testosterone and PSA. Ask which follow-up tests, outside-lab tests, and monitoring panels are included for the full length of your plan.

Are peptides or other add-ons included?

Not necessarily. In a March 2026 BBB reply, NEMH said certain advanced treatments such as peptide therapies can involve separate pharmacy and laboratory costs.

Where are Northeast Men's Health locations?

NEMH currently lists Salem, NH; Dedham, Marlborough, Woburn, and Bridgewater, MA; Farmington and New Haven, CT; and Warwick, RI.

Who operates Northeast Men's Health?

NEMH's website identifies the brand as "A Promeniq Restorative Health Practice." The BBB profile lists Northeast Men's Health as a limited liability company and identifies Northeast Men's Clinic, LLC as an alternate name.

Is Northeast Men's Health cheaper than online TRT?

There is no honest way to answer without a current NEMH quote. A reported NEMH 12-month plan around $2,700 is close to Male Excel's current $2,727 + shipping starting-rate model, while Taurus advertises a lower base model but has unresolved fee/terms conflicts. Compare your actual written NEMH quote, not a historical complaint figure.

Can I get TRT online if I live in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire?

Federal telemedicine flexibilities for prescribing controlled medications without a prior in-person visit are extended through December 31, 2026, subject to applicable federal and state requirements. That does not mean every online TRT provider serves every state. Confirm the clinician's authority and the provider's current state availability before paying.
