NRG Clinic TRT Reviews: What We Verified Before You Pay

NRG Clinic TRT reviews are positive but thin: its U.S. Trustpilot profile has 13 reviews. The catch sits on its own website: several price claims and three different state lists. Before paying, confirm your full quote, state access, assigned clinician, exact medication, and pharmacy. The public figures do not establish your first-year cost.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 1: Comparison
Quick facts What we found
What it is Online care platform. NRG says it handles administration; Energy Virtual Medical PA employs the treating clinicians.
Reviews 13 on Trustpilot (4.5 TrustScore), all 5-star. Three explicitly mention TRT or testosterone.
Price Several published figures; no verified complete first-year quote.
States 5, 6, or 12, depending on which NRG page you read.
Medication NRG advertises compounded injections and cream and names Strive Pharmacy. Confirm the actual product and dispensing location.
Insurance NRG describes cash-pay care and accepts HSA/FSA cards, subject to plan rules.

NRG may be worth a call if: it confirms care in your state, you want to discuss its advertised compounded treatment and pay-as-you-go model, and a clinician will assess whether treatment fits your needs.

Start somewhere else if: NRG cannot confirm service where you are, you need an insurance or FDA-approved product arrangement it has not confirmed, or you need fertility or specialist advice before a testosterone decision.

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.

This profile covers the U.S. company at nrgclinic.com. It is educational information, not medical advice. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, or another medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What do NRG Clinic TRT reviews actually tell you?

NRG Clinic's U.S. Trustpilot profile shows 13 reviews, all five stars, as of October 17, 2026. Three explicitly mention TRT or testosterone; other reviewers discuss different topics or leave treatment unspecified. This small sample may not be representative.

That's the honest picture. Not bad. Just thin.

Here's what we found when we read all 13 reviews on NRG Clinic's U.S. Trustpilot profile and sorted them:

We counted each review once: explicit TRT or testosterone wording first, other mentions of peptides, longevity, or weight loss next, and the remaining general reviews last. These are topic categories, not verified treatment histories.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 3: What do NRG Clinic TRT reviews actually tell you?
Review check (Trustpilot, U.S. profile) Result
Total reviews 13
5-star 13 (100%)
Lower-star reviews in this profile 0 in the 13-review sample
Explicit TRT/testosterone wording, including a former TRT provider 3
Other reviews mentioning peptides/longevity or reporting weight loss 3
Remaining general service/health reviews without a specified treatment 7
Invitation information All 13 carry Trustpilot’s unprompted label; the profile reports no recent invitation history. This does not establish that nobody was asked to review.
Review publication dates September 24, 2025–July 3, 2026

A few patterns are worth knowing. They don't prove anything is wrong. They do tell you how much weight 13 reviews can carry:

  • Three reviewers share a last name and posted within about a day of each other in early December 2025. The names and timing do not establish whether the reviewers are related or whether their experiences were independent. We have not merged their reviews.
  • Two profiles list a country outside the U.S. (the UK and the Philippines). Those profile labels do not establish where care occurred or whether the reviewer was eligible.
  • No lower-star reviews in a sample this small means "not enough data yet," not "perfect."

What reviewers praise

The praise is consistent, and it's mostly about people. Reviewers single out a patient coordinator who explained labs and onboarding, and Dr. Bryan for walking them through results.

"Brandon made the entire process straightforward and easy to understand" — David Broerman, Trustpilot, published January 29, 2026; stated experience January 28, 2026

"the prices, service, and medical knowledge is a step up at NRG clinic" — Mike T, Trustpilot, published November 27, 2025; stated experience November 3, 2025, after switching from another online TRT clinic

These are two people's reported experiences. They tell you about communication and service. They can't tell you whether treatment is safe, whether it will work for you, or what you'll pay. We did not independently verify either reviewer's identity, purchase history, or relationship with NRG.

One mix-up to avoid. Searching "NRG Clinic reviews" also pulls up The NRG Clinic’s separate UK profile, associated with a London weight-loss service, and NRG Matrix Health Clinic, another UK practice. Different companies. If a review mentions London, a movement specialist, or pounds sterling, check the profile’s linked company domain before treating it as evidence about the U.S. clinic. Is NRG Clinic legit?

NRG describes a traceable care structure: it runs the admin side, Energy Virtual Medical PA employs the treating clinicians, and Strive is its named pharmacy. Its listed medical director holds an active Florida license. That supports a limited identity and credential check, not treatment quality.

There are checkable business and professional records behind the name. Here's who NRG says does what.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 5: Is NRG Clinic legit?
Who Their job Why it matters to you
NRG Clinic Scheduling, billing, patient portal, customer service Billing and cancellation questions go here
Energy Virtual Medical PA Employs the doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistant who evaluate you and decide on treatment Medical questions and prescribing decisions sit here
Strive Pharmacy NRG’s named primary pharmacy Confirm which facility fills your prescription and how to contact it

NRG states this plainly in its own fine print: it "does not practice medicine," and paying "does not ensure that medication will be prescribed." It means a clinician can say no.

Who are the clinicians?

NRG's medical director is Daniel M. Bryan, MD. NRG describes him as a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained pain specialist. We confirmed his Florida medical license is active (ME147227). We did not confirm his board certification, his licenses in other states, or his DEA registration.

The rest of the listed team is six nurse practitioners and one physician assistant. Most are shown by first name and last initial.

None of the listed clinicians is described as an endocrinologist (a hormone specialist) or a urologist. Ask whether your evaluation needs input from a specialist, especially if your situation is complicated — more on that below.

What would a badge still need to prove?

NRG's site shows LegitScript, HIPAA, and pharmacy accreditation badges. A badge on a homepage is a claim. We couldn't match NRG's own LegitScript certification to an issuer record during this check, so we're not calling it confirmed. And none of those badges means a medicine is FDA-approved.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool as an educational starting point, and use the questions below to discuss the right care route with a clinician before you pay. The tool is educational and non-diagnostic; it does not decide medical eligibility or replace a clinician.

Is NRG Clinic available in my state?

NRG's legal purchase terms list 12 states: California, Delaware, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. But its homepage FAQ and homepage inquiry form list only five, and its main FAQ lists six. Other states and D.C. do not appear in these lists.

This is the first thing to settle. There's no point comparing prices for a clinic that can't treat you.

We lined up these five public state lists. Here's where each state appears:

Sources: homepage, FAQ, and purchase terms, section 9, checked October 17, 2026.

The purchase terms list more states, but we found no reliable update date that settles the difference. The homepage inquiry selector we inspected offered five states; that does not describe every booking or screening flow. If you live in one of the other seven, don't assume you can book online. Call (844) 727-0370 and ask whether a clinician authorized to treat you in your state is taking patients. A listing does not confirm an available appointment or the assigned clinician's authority.

Will I ever need to see someone in person?

An in-person visit may still be required. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance — a medicine with legal limits on how it's prescribed. As of October 17, 2026, a temporary federal rule lets DEA-registered clinicians prescribe it by audio-video telehealth without a prior in-person visit when the applicable conditions are met. That rule runs through December 31, 2026, and the DEA has extended it several times. It doesn't override state practice requirements, and testosterone still requires a valid prescription. An introductory phone call or questionnaire alone is not the audio-video prescribing visit described by this provision.

NRG's FAQ says that if an in-person exam is required, it will arrange a free visit to your home. Ask how that works in your state, especially if you're starting care close to the end of the year.

Considering NRG in a listed state? Next step: confirm a clinician can see you.

Ask NRG which clinician covers your state →

Outside NRG's list? Its checked pages do not list service for your state. Confirm current availability and the assigned clinician's authority before paying. If NRG cannot serve you, compare a care route available where you are.

How much does NRG Clinic TRT cost?

NRG doesn't publish one price. Its pages show a $79 starting offer, a $49 average visit fee, a $60 test, an unspecified $83–$95 monthly average, and dated articles quoting about $185 a month all-in. Those figures do not establish a current first-year cost range; the offers and required services have not been reconciled.

This is where most people get stuck, and it's not their fault. We grouped nine pricing items across eight NRG pages. Some may be for different plans. Some may be old. Here they are side by side so you can see the whole map.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 7: How much does NRG Clinic TRT cost?
NRG price claim What it covers Where NRG says it

$49 "Medical Visits Average Cost" Public consultation thank-you page
$60 "Complete Lab Test" Same public consultation thank-you page
$83–$95/month "Average Monthly Price" Same public consultation thank-you page

About $185/month "All-inclusive" — consultations, labs, medication, monitoring NRG articles, Nov. 19, 2025 and Dec. 19, 2025
$25 or $35 per shipment Standard or refrigerated shipping Purchase terms, section 6 — while the homepage promises "Free, Discreet Rush Shipping"
$299 or $399/year “Advantage” or “Superhuman” VIP plan. Renews automatically; confirm whether you are enrolling. Purchase terms, section 8

All checked October 17, 2026. The nine rows group related items: three come from the thank-you page, the $185 row combines two dated articles, and the shipping row compares the terms with the homepage. The terms also say prices can change without notice and vary by location, provider, and medication.

The $49 figure is an average medical-visit cost, not a promised first-visit fee. The $60 test does not specify the full panel or required repeat tests. The $83–$95 figure is not labeled medication-only or tied to a defined TRT plan. The $79 offer wording varied across our same-day captures, so ask which version and inclusions apply.

What NRG's own numbers add up to

We did the math two ways. These are not quotes. The first calculation assumes the visit, test, and monthly average are separate charges that all apply; the second annualizes a dated bundle. Neither assumption has been confirmed for a new patient.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 8: What NRG's own numbers add up to
Separate-charge hypothetical Dated bundle annualization
One visit at the published average $49 Consultations described as included
One advertised test $60 Labs described as included
Unspecified monthly figure × 12 $996–$1,140 ($83–$95 × 12) —
Monthly bundle × 12 — $2,220 ($185 × 12)
Arithmetic subtotal $1,105–$1,249 $2,220
What remains unresolved Whether these prices apply and can be added; required repeat tests, follow-ups, supply periods, shipping, and any membership Whether this dated offer applies and which tests, visits, supplies, and shipping it includes

These are arithmetic illustrations, not a current price range, minimum, or maximum. Adding a visit or lab could double-count a charge already included in the monthly average. Your written quote decides it.

The one thing NRG doesn't do — and how to compare fairly

NRG does not publish a single, clear price list. If seeing itemized starting prices before you talk to anyone matters most to you, Male Excel publishes a $99 consultation, a required $99-a-month medical membership, and injections starting at $120 a month plus shipping. Its current pricing and medication disclosures are compared below.

But here's the flip side. NRG advertises care without membership fees, while Male Excel requires a monthly membership. That difference is worth checking, but it does not establish which program will cost you less. Using Male Excel's listed injection starting price, $99 + 12 × ($99 + $120) = $2,727, before shipping and any tests or other charges not included. That annualizes the monthly figures; actual first-year payments depend on the 60-day billing dates. Its FAQ advertises the initial test kit with the $99 consultation; repeat-test costs still need confirmation. A like-for-like saving cannot be calculated until NRG confirms a complete written quote.

Does NRG take insurance?

NRG describes its care as cash-pay. It accepts HSA and FSA cards, subject to plan rules, and its November 19, 2025 prescription guide says it can provide a superbill — a receipt you can send to your insurer yourself — for possible out-of-network reimbursement. That's not a promise your plan will pay. If you need insurance to cover testosterone, start with primary care or a urologist who bills your plan.

About that VIP plan

NRG advertises care without membership fees, while its terms list separate $299 and $399 annual VIP plans. Confirm whether your quote enrolls you. The terms say these plans renew every year automatically, and you must cancel at least 10 days before renewal. If you join, set a calendar reminder the same day.

Ready to get your real number? Use NRG’s free consultation to ask for a written, itemized quote before paying for a test or treatment. Ask which offer applies and what the $79 starting figure covers.

What happens after you sign up? Labs, clinicians, and follow-ups

NRG describes a process of intake, labs, a telehealth visit, and medication by mail if prescribed. You can use Labcorp or send results from the past six months if they meet NRG's requirements; a clinician then decides whether treatment is right. A dated NRG guide describes follow-up testing about three months in, again at six months, then yearly.

Step by step

  1. Intake call. A free initial conversation; the thank-you page describes an intake specialist. Ask whether this is just intake or your actual medical visit.
  2. Labs. At Labcorp, or with your own recent results. NRG's offer page says outside results up to six months old may be accepted if they meet its requirements. NRG's public consultation thank-you page also mentions an at-home kit, so ask which method you'll get.
  3. Video visit. A licensed clinician reviews your history and results.
  4. Medication by mail. NRG names Strive as its primary pharmacy. Confirm the facility and delivery plan for your prescription.
  5. Follow-ups. You message your care team through the patient portal and repeat labs on a schedule.

What should confirm low testosterone before anyone prescribes?

In adult men, low testosterone isn't diagnosed from tiredness, age, a quiz, or one number. The Endocrine Society sets out the basics:

  • Symptoms or signs must go with consistently low, accurately measured testosterone results.
  • The diagnosis needs repeat early-morning, fasting testosterone tests. The Society reaffirmed the need for at least two tests in July 2026. A number such as 300 ng/dL is a guide, not a verdict on its own.
  • A clinician should assess the cause and use reliable tests and suitable reference ranges.

Total testosterone is all the testosterone in your blood. Your first test might also check hematocrit (the percentage of your blood made up of red blood cells) and, when appropriate, PSA (a protein made by the prostate). Both matter because testosterone can raise them. A PSA increase does not itself diagnose cancer.

NRG's public pages don't spell out whether it requires two morning tests. That doesn't mean it skips them. It means you should ask: "Will you confirm my result with a second early-morning test before prescribing?"

Follow-ups and messaging

NRG has published two descriptions of monitoring. The November 19, 2025 guide describes checks around three months, six months, then once a year. The offer page describes at least yearly testing, plus more when needed. Both can be true. What matters is your schedule and what each visit and lab costs.

NRG’s FAQ says you can message your provider any time through its patient portal. "Any time" means you can send a message. It doesn't promise when someone answers. Ask who replies, how fast, and who to contact if something feels wrong. Also ask how far ahead to request a refill, what happens if labs or a visit are overdue, and whom to contact about a delayed delivery. We did not verify an NRG refill turnaround or guaranteed shipping schedule.

What medication does NRG use? Compounded vs. FDA-approved

NRG advertises compounded testosterone injections and cream and names Strive as its primary pharmacy. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved; confirm the exact product and dispensing location for your prescription. NRG also lists non-testosterone options like enclomiphene and hCG, which are different treatments.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 9: What medication does NRG use? Compounded vs. FDA-approved
What NRG advertises What it is FDA status / what to confirm
Testosterone cypionate injection Injectable testosterone; NRG advertises a kit with supplies. Confirm the actual prescription and supply duration. Advertised as compounded — not FDA-approved
Testosterone cream Testosterone applied to the skin Advertised as compounded — not FDA-approved
Enclomiphene A non-testosterone medicine that affects the body’s hormone signals. Not testosterone replacement. No FDA-approved enclomiphene drug product; FDA’s May 2026 list places it under evaluation, not approval.
Clomiphene A separate medicine affecting hormone signals. Not testosterone replacement. FDA-approved clomiphene products exist; use for low testosterone in men is off-label, meaning outside the approved uses. That does not establish approval of an NRG compounded product.
hCG A hormone injection that acts on the testicles. Not testosterone replacement. FDA-approved hCG products exist. Ask which product you'd get (see below).
DHEA A hormone, sometimes sold as a supplement. Not testosterone replacement. Exact NRG product not verified

Compounded vs. FDA-approved, in plain English

An FDA-approved medicine has been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, and how it's made, and it comes with official labeling. A compounded medicine is prepared to meet a patient’s medical needs and is not FDA-approved. The FDA does not approve compounded drugs or review them for safety and effectiveness before they're sold.

NRG is upfront about this. Its purchase terms say compounded medications "are not evaluated by the FDA in the same manner as commercially manufactured drugs." NRG's marketing also calls its testosterone "bioidentical." That's a marketing word. It doesn't mean FDA-approved, safer, or more natural.

If you specifically want an FDA-approved testosterone product, confirm the exact product and dispensing plan; this research did not establish an approved NRG option. If you need insurance to pay, confirm coverage with your plan. A primary care doctor or urologist who prescribes a branded or generic FDA-approved product through a regular pharmacy is the more direct route.

Strive Pharmacy: what NRG discloses

Credit where it’s due. NRG names its pharmacy, its address (1275 E Baseline Rd, Suite 104, Gilbert, AZ), its pharmacist-in-charge, and that pharmacist’s stated Arizona license number. Strive’s own website lists that Gilbert location. The listed pharmacist number is not a verified pharmacy-facility permit; we did not independently confirm the current pharmacist-in-charge or facility license.

What we couldn't confirm: that every NRG prescription ships from that exact location, or the accreditation badges NRG lists for Strive. Ask for the dispensing facility before paying, then check the label when your first box arrives. It should show the pharmacy name and address.

A question worth asking about hCG

Since March 23, 2020, the FDA treats hCG as a biological product, and its notice to compounders says these products are no longer eligible for the usual compounding exemptions. FDA-approved hCG products exist. If hCG is part of your plan, ask NRG: "Which hCG product is this, and which pharmacy fills it?" You deserve a clear answer.

One thing to know about testosterone itself

In February 2025, the FDA required blood-pressure labeling updates for FDA-approved testosterone products after studies found increases in blood pressure. Ask how your blood pressure will be tracked.

Do you want kids? Read this before your first prescription

Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production, so fertility plans belong in the very first conversation, not after you start. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone when planning fertility in the near term. Enclomiphene and hCG are not "fertility-safe TRT," and nothing guarantees fertility is protected.

Here's why it matters. When you take testosterone from outside your body, your brain can sense the extra and send fewer signals to the testicles. Those same signals drive spermatogenesis — making sperm. Fewer signals can mean fewer sperm, as the AUA/ASRM male-infertility guideline explains. The Endocrine Society lists reduced sperm production as a treatment risk.

NRG offers enclomiphene and hCG, and its blog promotes enclomiphene for men who care about fertility. Those are separate medicines with their own risks, and they aren't interchangeable with testosterone replacement.

If you want children, discuss fertility before starting testosterone. A urologist or reproductive urologist may be the right starting point, especially if you plan to conceive soon. They can assess fertility before a treatment decision.

The fine print: refunds, cancelling, shipping, and records

NRG’s terms make the start of compounding the refund cutoff; an unshipped order is not automatically refundable. Damaged deliveries must be reported with photos within 48 hours, and annual VIP plans renew unless cancelled at least 10 days ahead. Paying never guarantees a prescription.

We read NRG's purchase terms line by line. Here's what each rule means for you.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 10: The fine print: refunds, cancelling, shipping, and records
NRG's rule What it means What to do
No refunds once compounding starts The cutoff is when compounding begins, not a published refill-approval deadline Ask how to cancel an order before compounding starts
Unshipped refunds may be issued on request Shipment status alone does not override the compounding cutoff; no fixed cancellation window is stated Contact customerservice@nrgclinic.com or (866) 485-8218 promptly
Damaged or defective delivery: report within 48 hours with photos The reporting deadline does not guarantee a refund or replacement Photograph the box and contents when it arrives
$25 standard / $35 cold shipping May not be free, despite the homepage Ask how often it will ship and whether the quote includes each charge
Paying doesn't guarantee a prescription You may pay for labs or a visit and not get treated Normal and responsible. Ask what's refundable if you're not prescribed.
VIP plans auto-renew yearly; cancel at least 10 days before renewal Easy to forget Set a reminder; cancel through customerservice@nrgclinic.com or (866) 485-8218 and keep confirmation
NRG’s testosterone page advertises no contracts or membership fees This does not undo medication-order or VIP terms Get “pay as you go” and any renewal terms confirmed in writing

Two practical notes. Useful published contacts are (844) 727-0370 for general questions and (866) 485-8218 in the purchase terms for billing and cancellations. Save both. And replying STOP to NRG's texts only stops the texts. It doesn't cancel your care or billing.

Getting your records

NRG's privacy policy says you can request a copy of your medical record, usually within 30 days, and may be charged a cost-based fee. If you ever switch clinics, request it early. Never stop or change testosterone on your own — plan the handoff with your clinicians. Our guide on how to switch TRT providers walks through it.

When should you consider a different care route?

NRG may fit someone who confirms state access, wants to discuss its advertised compounded treatment and pay-as-you-go model, and gets the price in writing. If you need an insurance or FDA-approved product arrangement it has not confirmed, want children soon, or have a complicated health history, settle that need before choosing a program.

We'd rather you leave this page with the right plan than the wrong clinic.

Provider-stated, checked October 17, 2026: NRG, Male Excel pricing and FAQ, Taurus Meds and terms. No provider’s service performance or individual eligibility was tested.

A note on Male Excel: its pricing page sells testosterone together with thyroid medication. If you don't have a thyroid diagnosis, ask whether testosterone alone is an option. Ignore its "bioidentical" wording for the same reason we did with NRG's.

8 questions to ask NRG before you pay

Use NRG's free intake call to get these answers in writing. They turn NRG's conflicting website figures into your real price, confirm your state, and show exactly which medicine you'd get and from whom. Don't pay for treatment until every cost line has a number.

Copy this list. Bring it to your call. Write the answers down.

  1. "What will my first year cost, all in?" Visits, labs, medication, supplies, and shipping, itemized. Which offer applies, and is any dated bundle still available? How long is the quote good for? Answer: ______

  2. "Is my clinician authorized to treat me in my state, and can I book from here?" Get the clinician’s name and credentials. Ask who handles follow-ups, how to reach them, and how to obtain and transfer your records. Answer: ______

  3. "Is this free call my medical visit, or just intake?" What does each later visit cost? Answer: ______

  4. "Will you confirm low testosterone with a second early-morning test before prescribing?" Can you use my recent labs? Venous draw at Labcorp or an at-home kit? What does each follow-up panel cost? Answer: ______

  5. "Exactly which medicine would I get, and is it compounded or FDA-approved?" If hCG is included, which hCG product? Answer: ______

  6. "Which pharmacy location fills it, and how often will it ship?" What supply period and refill lead time apply? Is shipping included, or would it be $25 standard or $35 cold per shipment? Answer: ______

  7. "How do I pause or cancel a refill before it's compounded?" And how do I cancel the VIP plan if I join? Answer: ______

  8. "What happens to my money if I'm not prescribed?" What's refundable? Answer: ______

If children are in your plans, add a ninth: "Should I see a urologist about fertility before we decide on testosterone?"

How to total it up: First-year cost = first visit + starting labs + medication and supplies purchased during the first 12 months + follow-up visits + follow-up labs + every shipment + any membership you choose + other required fees − confirmed credits. Count each item once. Only write $0 if NRG confirms in writing that it’s included. Use the actual supply periods and shipment dates rather than assuming monthly billing. If any line is still blank, your total isn’t finished yet.

Our verdict on NRG Clinic

NRG Clinic has checkable identity records, advertises pay-as-you-go care, and names a pharmacy. The public review sample is small, and its prices and state lists need cleaning up. Go in with written answers to the questions above.

NRG Clinic TRT review table 13: Our verdict on NRG Clinic
Strengths Weaknesses Still unknown
Advertises care without membership fees State list says 5, 6, or 12 depending on the page Licenses for clinicians other than Dr. Bryan
Publishes several prices readers can ask about Monthly averages and dated bundles do not establish a complete current quote Whether follow-up visits cost extra
Names its pharmacy, address, and a pharmacist’s stated license Free-shipping claim on the homepage vs. $25 standard/$35 cold in the terms How often medication ships
Listed medical director’s Florida license is active Only 3 reviews explicitly mention TRT/testosterone; website ratings have no named source Real reply times and refill speed
Terms say clinicians can decline to prescribe No specific FDA-approved NRG testosterone product verified Whether its LegitScript certification is current

We don't give star ratings. Our method, How We Review TRT Providers, doesn't use made-up scores.

How we checked NRG Clinic

We compared NRG's public documents against outside records and labeled what each source can and can't prove. We separate what we verified, what NRG says, what patients report, and our own judgment. We did not buy anything, create an account, or test NRG's care.

This profile follows How We Review TRT Providers. That means we:

  • Separate four kinds of claims: facts we verified with an outside record, things NRG says about itself, what patients report, and our editorial conclusions.
  • Check every first-year cost component instead of repeating a teaser price, and identify any charges that remain unresolved.
  • Review the same areas for every provider: eligibility, testing, clinician access, states, treatment formats, medication and pharmacy transparency, fertility, monitoring, total cost, cancellation, support, and how honest the claims are.
  • Date everything. Every source here was checked October 17, 2026.

What this profile is not: a hands-on review. We didn't sign up, get a prescription, or call support. If we do, we'll add the date and results here.

Staying current: This profile is dated October 17, 2026. Prices, state access, pharmacy arrangements, reviews, and terms can change; check the linked sources and your written quote before paying. The federal telehealth provision discussed here runs through December 31, 2026 and must be checked for care after that date. Who writes our profiles is explained on our authors and reviewers page. Our editorial standards, privacy policy, and corrections page explain the site’s policies and how to report a problem.

NRG Clinic TRT reviews: frequently asked questions

NRG’s pages do not establish one current price or state list. Confirm your quote, state access, testing plan, and prescription details before paying.

Is NRG Clinic legit?

NRG describes Energy Virtual Medical PA as the treating practice and names Strive as its pharmacy. Its listed medical director’s Florida license is active. The U.S. Trustpilot sample is small: 13 reviews as of October 17, 2026; these records do not prove treatment quality.

Where is NRG Clinic located?

Its listed business address is in Boca Raton, Florida. Its published service is online; do not assume the business address accepts walk-in patients.

How much does NRG Clinic cost per month?

It depends on which NRG page you read. Its public consultation thank-you page lists an unspecified average of $83 to $95 a month, while dated NRG articles say about $185 a month all-inclusive. The terms list $25 standard or $35 cold shipping, with applicability still needing confirmation. Get a written quote.

What states does NRG Clinic serve?

NRG's purchase terms list 12: California, Delaware, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Its homepage FAQ and the inquiry selector we inspected list only California, Delaware, Florida, Ohio, and Texas; its main FAQ also lists Nevada. Confirm current availability and the assigned clinician before paying.

Does NRG Clinic take insurance?

NRG describes cash-pay care and accepts HSA and FSA cards, subject to plan rules. It says it can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, which your plan may or may not honor.

Is NRG Clinic's testosterone FDA-approved?

NRG describes compounded testosterone, which is not FDA-approved. We did not verify a specific FDA-approved NRG product; ask for the exact prescription and dispensing pharmacy.

Is the $79 offer my monthly price?

Do not assume so. One offer-page version advertised a test plus free consultation; another said only “Starting at $79.” Those headlines do not establish an ongoing medication price; confirm what the offer buys.

Does paying NRG guarantee a prescription?

No. NRG's terms say the treating clinician decides whether medication is appropriate. Ask what's refundable if you aren't prescribed.

Can I use bloodwork I already have?

NRG's offer page says results from the past six months may be accepted if they meet its requirements. Confirm before paying for a new panel.

Can I cancel NRG Clinic?

NRG advertises no contracts or membership fees. Its terms make the start of compounding the refund cutoff, and separate annual VIP plans renew unless cancelled at least 10 days before renewal. Use the published cancellation contact and keep written confirmation.

Do I need an in-person visit?

An in-person visit may still be required. Through December 31, 2026, a temporary federal provision permits certain prescribing by audio-video telehealth without a prior in-person visit when its conditions are met; state requirements also apply. NRG describes a free home-visit arrangement if an exam is required—confirm whether that arrangement is available for you.

Is "The NRG Clinic" in London the same company?

No. The NRG Clinic’s UK review profile is associated with a separate London weight-loss service, and NRG Matrix Health Clinic is another UK practice. This profile covers only the U.S. company at nrgclinic.com.
