The reviews we inspected did not provide a clear body of treatment-outcome reports for Triclozene itself. That's the honest answer, and it's the reason we built this page differently.

Here's what we did instead. We pulled Male Excel's own product page, pricing page, test-kit page, FAQ, terms, and guarantee terms on September 10, 2026. Then we held them up against FDA records, official prescribing information, the Endocrine Society's guideline, and AUA/ASRM fertility guidance. Some of what came back is genuinely reassuring. The Clomid label also flags uncontrolled thyroid dysfunction as a contraindication — a reason to ask question three before accepting a blend that includes thyroid medicine. ^3,4,9

What do Male Excel Triclozene reviews actually tell you?

Reviews of Male Excel can describe communication, billing, and support experiences. They cannot establish whether Triclozene works or whether it is right for you. We did not find a clear body of Triclozene-specific outcome reviews in the material inspected.

Here's the part worth understanding, because it explains a gap that confuses a lot of people.

That's a gap of more than a full star between two platforms rating the same company. The scores alone do not tell us why they differ.

Different people can review different parts of the experience. We did not verify when Male Excel sends review invitations or establish a typical delay before someone files a BBB complaint.

You can see different concerns in the reviews themselves. Glenn E Wolf, whose Trustpilot experience is dated September 9, 2026, wrote that a provider "took her time explaining how everything works". Christopher Marr, whose experience is dated September 8, 2026, wrote: "I dislike not being able to easily end prescription auto refill." ¹⁴

Two illustrative service reports. Not a representative survey, not proof of a policy, and not evidence about whether any medication works.

None of this means Male Excel is shady. BBB lists an A+ rating and accreditation since March 27, 2026. Those are real business-profile facts, but neither a BBB grade nor accreditation establishes a medicine's effectiveness, a clinician's license, or a pharmacy's status. ¹⁷

It means the company has a positive average on one review platform. It does not tell you whether a specific pill is right for your body. Those are different questions, and you deserve to have them separated before you spend money. ¹⁴

How to judge any Triclozene testimonial you find

If you do stumble across one, run it through four questions:

Does the person actually name Triclozene, or just "Male Excel"?
Do they say what was in it — and at what strength?
Are they describing a lab number, a symptom, or the customer service?
How long were they on it, and were they taking anything else at the same time?

A detailed personal story is still one person's story. It's not proof of typical results.

What's actually in Triclozene?

Male Excel describes Triclozene as a compounded daily tablet containing a SERM, thyroid medicine, and selenomethionine, a form of selenium. It is not testosterone replacement therapy: the stated blend contains no testosterone. The exact SERM and thyroid preparation need confirmation because the public descriptions do not fully agree. ^1,2,6

A SERM — selective estrogen receptor modulator — is a medicine that changes estrogen signaling. In selected men, blocking estrogen feedback can increase LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone). LH tells your testicles to make testosterone. FSH supports sperm production. That's the whole idea. Instead of giving you testosterone from outside, it asks your body to make more of its own. The response depends on the underlying condition. ^4,9,18

That difference matters more than any marketing line on the page, and we'll come back to it when we talk about fertility.

Quick note before we go further: Triclozene is not triclosan. Triclosan is an antibacterial chemical, not either of the SERMs named in this offer. ¹⁹

The ingredient question Male Excel hasn't settled

Here's where it gets genuinely important.

Male Excel's own pages name two different drugs for the same product.

All checked on the same day. The product page and pricing page describe a three-ingredient formula while naming different SERMs. We could not establish why the copy differs or which description matches a current prescription. ^1,2

But the two names are not interchangeable, and the difference is measurable.

According to the FDA-approved Clomid label, clomiphene citrate is a mixture of two forms of the same molecule: enclomiphene and zuclomiphene. The label states it contains between 30% and 50% zuclomiphene. ⁹

Zuclomiphene is the slow one. The label describes a longer half-life and evidence that it may have more estrogen-like activity than enclomiphene. Enclomiphene on its own is different from the two-isomer clomiphene mixture. ⁹

So this isn't a spelling quibble. If the SERM is clomiphene, the mixture includes zuclomiphene; if it is enclomiphene alone, it is a different drug substance. You can't tell which from the public pages, and you should not have to guess about what you're swallowing every day. ^1,2,9

One thing the public Triclozene offer does not provide

The public Triclozene offer is not a plain SERM. It includes thyroid medicine and selenium. We did not find a single-ingredient Triclozene option in the pages checked. If your clinician recommends a SERM without those additions, this advertised bundle is not that prescription. ^1,2

One tablet may be simpler to take when a clinician finds a separate reason for each ingredient. But convenience is not evidence that the combination works better, and separate medicines can be changed separately. Ask why the blend, rather than separate prescriptions, fits your care. That is the decision — not whether more ingredients sound better.

Is Triclozene FDA approved?

No, Triclozene is a compounded medication, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA has not approved this specific combination for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Compounding can be lawful when the applicable requirements are met; being compounded does not establish that this particular formula meets them. ^7,8

It's worth knowing what "FDA-approved" does and doesn't cover here, because the three ingredients sit in three different places.

There's a second layer here, and it's another reason the clomiphene-versus-enclomiphene question matters.

Pharmacies must meet rules about the bulk drug substances they use. Being a component of an FDA-approved drug is one possible basis under section 503A; it is not the only requirement. In June 2022, FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted 8–4 against recommending enclomiphene citrate for the 503A bulks list. That vote was advisory, not a final rule. ^8,21

On FDA's list updated May 14, 2026, enclomiphene citrate remains in Category 1 — under evaluation. FDA describes conditional enforcement discretion while it evaluates these substances. This is not drug approval, addition to the final bulks list, or blanket permission for every pharmacy or prescription. ^8,22

Two names. Two different regulatory footings. Same product.

One more thing, since this is a TRT site and people assume: testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance in the United States. Clomiphene and enclomiphene are not federally scheduled controlled substances. Do not apply testosterone's classification to a different prescription merely because the provider offers both. These medicines still require a valid prescription and appropriate clinician oversight. ^9,20,23

And here's the honest counterweight to everything in this section: Male Excel publishes product details, prices, terms, and safety information that readers can check. That transparency is exactly why we could spot the inconsistency in the first place. Publishing the information is useful; resolving the inconsistency still matters. ^1,2,12

Who is Triclozene actually right for?

A SERM can be a treatment option for selected men, but that does not establish who should receive Triclozene's full blend. Symptoms or signs, repeat testosterone testing, the cause of the low result, fertility goals, and a separate reason for thyroid medicine all matter. A clinical evaluation must settle those questions before this page can help you judge the offer. ^3,4,5

It is a discussion worth having when

You have compatible symptoms or signs and consistently low testosterone on at least two early-morning blood tests, not one result. ²⁴
A clinician has assessed the cause, rather than treating a laboratory number alone.
You have discussed fertility goals before choosing a medicine.
You prefer a tablet and understand that the format does not make the treatment risk-free.
You want ongoing clinician access and will actually use it.
A clinician can explain why the thyroid ingredient is needed and why a blend is preferable to separate treatment.

This is a discussion checklist, not a recommendation for the prescription. ^3,4,5

Choose something else if

You're trying to conceive right now. See a urologist or reproductive urologist first. The important distinction is fertility-focused expertise, not simply whether the visit is online. ⁴
Your low testosterone hasn't been confirmed. Symptoms plus repeat low results are needed. A quiz is not a diagnosis. ³
Your clinician suspects testicular, pituitary, or another endocrine disease. A SERM does not address every cause of low testosterone. LH and FSH help guide that evaluation; they are not a do-it-yourself eligibility test. ^3,4
Your thyroid is normal. Ask why thyroid medicine is being proposed. It is not a harmless wellness add-on. ^5,25
You have a history of prostate or breast cancer, high hematocrit, untreated severe sleep apnea, or a recent cardiac event. Get an appropriate medical assessment before considering hormone care. The Endocrine Society's restrictions on testosterone treatment should not be copied over as the complete contraindication list for a different medicine. ³

The tests that help explain low testosterone — and what the kit lists

This is the part we think matters most: a published test-kit panel is not the same as a complete evaluation.

Male Excel's at-home blood-spot kit lists five markers: testosterone, estradiol, DHEA-S, Free T3, and PSA. ¹⁰

Now compare that with the questions raised by endocrine and fertility guidance. Not every test below is needed for every patient or every medicine. ^3,4,26

The practical gap is not a score of tests passed or failed. The public kit description does not establish that repeat morning testing, LH/FSH, or an appropriate thyroid workup is included in the advertised price.

And here's the sharp end of it. A SERM acts on hormone signaling, so understanding the cause of low testosterone matters. LH helps with that distinction, but it cannot tell you by itself whether Triclozene will work. ^3,4

To be fair, and this genuinely matters: that page describes the test kit, not the whole clinical workup. A Male Excel clinician may well order more blood work during or after your consultation. What we verified is what the company publishes. So the right move is a question, not an accusation.

What happens after the home test?

Male Excel describes a finger-prick sample mailed back with free return shipping. It says results are sent through a link by text or email. That return-mailing benefit does not establish that medication shipping is free. ¹⁰

Its general program pages describe a check-in every two months, and the homepage describes full hormone and health panels every six months. Those statements do not confirm the lab schedule or included tests for your Triclozene offer. Ask who orders and reviews repeat tests, how often thyroid results are checked, and what each test costs. The terms also allow an additional fee when an invalid sample requires another kit. ^6,11,12

Ask for the assigned clinician's name, credentials, authority to treat you in your state, and contact process. We did not verify an individual clinician's license, actual appointment availability, or message response time. A published access feature is not a tested service promise. ²⁸

The four questions to ask before you pay

Print these. Bring them to your consultation. Ask for the answers in the patient portal, in writing — not on a phone call.

1. Is Triclozene made with clomiphene citrate or enclomiphene citrate? What are all the ingredients and strengths? Why it matters: clomiphene includes zuclomiphene; enclomiphene is a different drug substance. You should know which one is in the prescription. ⁹

2. Will my evaluation include repeat early-morning testosterone testing and LH/FSH? When are prolactin, hematocrit, and other tests needed, and who pays? Why it matters: the home kit does not establish a complete diagnosis or monitoring plan. Ask how the results change the recommendation, not whether one number qualifies you. ^3,4

3. What thyroid condition are you treating, is the ingredient animal-derived or synthetic, and which pharmacy compounds it? How will you establish and monitor thyroid control? Why it matters: the exact preparation affects the regulatory question. If clomiphene is prescribed, its approved label also lists uncontrolled thyroid dysfunction as a contraindication. Ask which tests, including TSH and Free T4 when appropriate, will guide care. ^5,9,27

4. What is my exact medication price, and what will my card be charged at startup and at each renewal? Why it matters: the published medication prices disagree. Get membership, medication, repeat tests, shipping, tax, fill size, and charge dates in one written quote. ^1,2,12

What does Triclozene actually cost?

Triclozene is advertised at $95 a month on the product page, but another pricing block says $120. Both sit beside a required $99 monthly membership and $99 initial test/consultation. The resulting twelve-month fee models are $2,427 or $2,727 before unresolved extras, not complete first-year quotes. ^1,2

Base twelve-month models: $99 + 12 × ($95 + $99) = $2,427, or $99 + 12 × ($120 + $99) = $2,727. ^1,2

Two honest notes on those figures. They are fee models built from published prices, not quotes confirmed at checkout. And six 60-day fills cover 360 days, not 365 — so neither figure guarantees a complete calendar year of treatment.

What could a full year's cash outlay look like?

A 60-day refill schedule can put a seventh fill inside the first 365 treatment days. For example, fills on treatment days 0, 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, and 360 would supply 420 days of medicine. Some of that supply carries into the next year.

These are arithmetic examples, not another quote. They assume seven fills are charged in that period, the inferred fill price is correct, and there are twelve membership charges. Your actual start date, renewal dates, dose, fill size, added testing, shipping, and tax can change the amount. We could not verify a complete first-year charge schedule before intake. ^1,2,12

At the lower medication figure, the membership and initial fee alone add $1,287 to a budget based only on $95 × 12. That is before any extras.

The membership can cost more than the medicine

Look at the lower-price split: $1,188 for membership, $1,140 for medication over twelve monthly equivalents. At the $120 medication figure, the medicine is $1,440, so the membership no longer costs more.

At the $95 figure, you're paying more for supervision than for the drug. That's not automatically bad — it's just a separate part of the bill. Male Excel advertises unlimited support-team messaging, unlimited provider e-visits, and recurring medical check-ins. We did not test response times or confirm that every follow-up lab is included. If you want that access and use it, it can have value. If you were expecting to pay for a pill and be left alone, this is the wrong advertised model and it'll feel expensive. ^2,6,11

The $300 problem

Male Excel's pricing page shows Triclozene at two different prices, in two separate blocks, on the same page. One card says $120 a month. Another says "starting at $95 a month." The dedicated product page says $95.

At $120, the base twelve-month model is $2,727. Two published medication figures, $300 apart over twelve monthly equivalents.

There's also a footnote under the Triclozene card describing 60g of testosterone, even though the stated Triclozene ingredients contain no testosterone. That mismatch is another reason to request a product-specific quote rather than infer your prescription from the footnote. ²

The billing catch

The pricing page describes a 60-day medication supply billed every other month, while membership is advertised monthly. A medication charge could therefore land alongside a membership charge rather than appear as the small monthly equivalent. The public pages do not establish your exact alternating bill or first charge date. ^1,2,12

Ask for actual dates and amounts. For example, $99 membership plus an assumed $190 fill would be $289 on the same date; with a $240 fill it would be $339. Those examples exclude startup fees and extras and are not a verified billing schedule.

One more thing about that membership fee

Male Excel's general TRT FAQ explains monitoring by pointing to testosterone's Schedule III status. That is about testosterone, not a legal rule setting a $99 fee for every hormone treatment. ^6,23

The stated Triclozene formula contains no testosterone. So testosterone's controlled-substance classification does not explain this prescription's membership price — though the advertised fee is the same. ^1,2,23

Male Excel says its Triclozene quick-start process does not require an in-person consultation. That is a provider statement, not a guarantee for every state or patient. Nor is avoiding a controlled medicine proof that all testosterone care requires an in-person visit: current federal telemedicine flexibilities for controlled prescriptions run through December 31, 2026, subject to applicable requirements. State rules and clinical judgment still matter. ^1,28,29

The membership is advertised as access to care. Judge the fee on the monitoring and follow-up actually offered — not on a supposed law requiring this specific membership. ²

Can insurance change that price?

Male Excel's terms describe a cash-pay service: it does not accept commercial insurance or participate in Medicare or Medicaid. That does not mean hormone evaluation or other prescriptions are never covered elsewhere. Ask your plan about participating clinicians and the exact service or drug. Ask the plan administrator separately about HSA or FSA eligibility for this expense. ¹²

Will Triclozene affect my fertility?

SERMs can increase hormone signaling in selected men, unlike testosterone from outside the body, which can suppress sperm production. That does not prove that Triclozene preserves fertility or improves the chance of pregnancy. If you are trying to conceive now, a fertility-focused evaluation should come before choosing this offer. ⁴

The mechanism difference is real and it's a reason clinicians consider this class of drug in selected fertility-related cases. ⁴

Testosterone from outside the body can reduce the signals that support sperm production. LH and FSH may fall, and sperm production can decrease substantially or stop. AUA/ASRM guidance says testosterone monotherapy should not be prescribed to a man interested in current or future fertility. That is not a promise that everyone becomes infertile or recovers on a set timetable. ⁴

A SERM can turn the signal up when the relevant hormone system can respond. That is a mechanism, not a fertility guarantee. ⁴

Male Excel states that Triclozene raises testosterone without affecting fertility. That's the company's claim, not a verified finding about this combination. We did not find published clinical outcome data for this exact three-ingredient blend in the sources reviewed. ¹

What the guideline actually says is narrower. AUA/ASRM guidance allows clinicians to consider SERMs and certain other treatments for infertile men with low testosterone — a Conditional Recommendation, Grade C. That means the recommendation rests on limited-quality evidence and the balance of benefits and harms needs individual judgment. It is not an endorsement of Triclozene. ⁴

The evidence behind the ingredient deserves a fair reading. A 2013 randomized enclomiphene study enrolled 48 men, with 44 completing per protocol, and included manufacturer-affiliated authors. It measured hormone changes, not pregnancy or live birth. Later published phase III trials also examined sperm concentration: over 16 weeks, enclomiphene maintained sperm concentrations while testosterone gel reduced them in the studied population. Neither finding validates the Triclozene combination or guarantees conception. A better lab number is not the same thing as a baby. ^18,30

If you and your partner are trying to conceive now, make a fertility evaluation the next step. See a urologist or reproductive urologist before selecting hormone treatment, including this one. We'd rather lose you at this paragraph than push you into a program before the fertility question is answered. ^4,26

Why does Triclozene contain thyroid medication?

Male Excel includes thyroid medicine as part of its hormone-treatment approach. That ingredient needs its own clinical reason; a low testosterone result does not establish a need for thyroid treatment. The exact preparation also matters because FDA treats animal-derived thyroid differently from approved synthetic products. ^1,2,5

In our view, this part of Triclozene deserves close attention.

What Male Excel publishes

Male Excel's own safety information describes desiccated thyroid and names T4 and T3. It says that thyroid product is not listed in FDA's Orange Book and has not undergone FDA therapeutic-equivalence testing. The page also carries a boxed warning about thyroid hormones and weight loss. This is general safety text; it does not identify the exact preparation dispensed in a Triclozene prescription. ¹

What FDA's thyroid policy says

FDA's industry notice is dated August 6, 2025, not August 2026. Its current public explanation states that unapproved animal-derived thyroid medications are biological products under the Public Health Service Act and are not eligible for compounding. FDA also describes risk-based enforcement while developing further guidance. That is a material issue to resolve if an animal-derived thyroid ingredient is proposed. ^5,31

The American Thyroid Association identifies synthetic levothyroxine as the standard treatment for hypothyroidism. FDA reports that about 1.5 million Americans received prescriptions for animal-derived thyroid medications in 2024; their use does not mean they are FDA-approved. ^5,32

Why this makes question three necessary

Read Male Excel's description carefully. Desiccated thyroid is animal-derived and naturally contains T4 and T3. Naming levothyroxine or liothyronine in a description does not, by itself, prove that the preparation is synthetic. The American Thyroid Association describes both hormones in animal-derived extract. ²⁵

The regulatory question depends on the actual preparation, and the general safety copy is not a substitute for your prescription details.

We're not declaring this particular prescription lawful or unlawful without knowing the formula and dispensing details. We're pointing at a question Male Excel and the dispensing pharmacy need to answer in writing.

The contradiction on the product page itself

The Triclozene product page lists weight loss ability among its advertised benefits. ¹

The boxed warning on that same page states that in people with normal thyroid function, thyroid hormone at normal replacement doses is ineffective for weight reduction, and that larger doses may produce serious or life-threatening toxicity. That warning is about thyroid hormone; the page does not establish that the combination is an effective weight-loss treatment. ^1,25

The finding we didn't expect

This is the one that made us go back and re-read everything.

The FDA-approved label for Clomid states that clomiphene citrate is contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled thyroid dysfunction. A contraindication means the labeled medicine should not be used in that circumstance. ⁹

The public Triclozene descriptions combine a SERM with thyroid medicine. If the SERM is clomiphene, that label warning belongs in the clinical discussion; we should not assume an enclomiphene prescription has identical approved labeling. ^1,2,9

Read fairly, treating a documented thyroid condition may be part of the care plan. But adding thyroid medicine to the same tablet does not establish that the condition is controlled. How will anyone know your thyroid is controlled, and when will they check? ^9,27

That's worth pressing on, because Male Excel's kit lists Free T3. The usual starting thyroid test is TSH, with Free T4 helping interpretation; Free T3 alone does not establish a diagnosis of an underactive thyroid. Ask whether further tests will be ordered before a daily thyroid medicine is prescribed. ^10,27

If thyroid medicine is not needed, adding it is not a neutral way to optimize health. Too much thyroid hormone can cause a racing heart and other symptoms; sustained excess can harm heart rhythm and bones. Ask which diagnosis and test results support including it. ²⁵

What are the side effects of Triclozene?

Male Excel describes Triclozene as typically well tolerated and names mood changes. That is a provider claim, not a measured side-effect rate for the combination. The actual prescription needs a risk review that covers the SERM, thyroid medicine, selenium, and your health history. ^1,9,25,33

We did not find a published side-effect study for this exact three-ingredient combination. What follows is ingredient-level information, not a prediction of your reaction.

From clomiphene: reported effects include mood changes, headache, hot flushes, and visual symptoms. Its approved labeling is not a Triclozene trial, and it does not establish the same rates for enclomiphene. ⁹

That last one deserves its own paragraph, because it's the gap.

The FDA-approved Clomid label warns that blurring, spots, or flashes of light can occur during treatment. It says the risk rises with total dose or treatment duration, and that prolonged and sometimes irreversible visual disturbance has been reported, including after treatment ended. The label calls for prompt eye assessment and warns that visual symptoms can make driving hazardous. New visual symptoms need prompt medical attention and prescriber guidance, not a wait for the next routine refill. ⁹

The Triclozene product-page FAQ says severe side effects are rare and names mood changes. That FAQ block does not mention the clomiphene vision warning. ^1,9

We're not saying anyone is hiding it. We're saying that if clomiphene is in your prescription, its label's vision warning should be part of the conversation. If enclomiphene is proposed instead, ask for the risks and monitoring relevant to that medicine — do not assume that a different name means no visual risk. ^9,21

From the thyroid component, Male Excel's published safety information lists chest pain, faster pulse, rapid or irregular heartbeat, and excessive sweating. Take that seriously — those aren't nuisance side effects. Chest pain or another severe or sudden symptom calls for urgent or emergency care, not a routine portal message. ¹

From selenium: too much selenium can cause effects such as hair or nail problems and stomach or nervous-system symptoms. Tell the clinician about other supplements so the total exposure can be reviewed. We did not verify the selenium amount in this prescription. ³³

One more from the clomiphene label: contraindications include uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction and an organic intracranial lesion, such as a pituitary tumor. The label also lists liver disease or a history of liver dysfunction. LH, FSH, and prolactin can help an evaluation, but checking them does not rule out every pituitary problem; symptoms and findings may require further workup. ^9,4

Can you even get Triclozene where you live?

Male Excel's general hormone-service FAQ lists 11 excluded states. It does not give a separate verified Triclozene availability list, so confirm the product for your state before paying. A state not on the exclusion list is not a promise of approval. ^6,28

The listed exclusions are Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. That leaves 39 states not named as excluded, not 39 independently verified Triclozene approvals. ⁶

Use the provider's current statement rather than an all-50-states claim from an older review. Then ask for product-specific confirmation in writing.

Being outside the exclusion list does not mean a clinician can or should prescribe for you. Their authority to treat you where you are located and your medical situation still matter. ²⁸

Which pharmacy fills it, and can you use your own?

Male Excel's general FAQ names AnazaoHealth Corp. and WellDyneRx-Fl as pharmacy partners. It does not identify which pharmacy would dispense a particular Triclozene prescription. We did not verify the dispensing pharmacy or its license for your state. Ask for its legal name and contact details before the order is placed. ⁶

The general terms say prescriptions are fulfilled through contracted pharmacies and will not be sent to an outside pharmacy of your choice. They also disclose non-child-resistant packaging. These are reasons to ask about dispensing, safe storage, and any packaging needs before payment — not after the parcel arrives. ¹²

Can you get your records if you leave?

Male Excel says it sends a test-results link by text or email, but that is not the same as a complete record export. Ask the medical practice for copies of your results, prescription, visit notes, and monitoring plan, and ask what portal access remains after cancellation. We did not verify an export button or post-cancellation access period. ¹⁰

HIPAA-covered providers generally must let patients inspect or obtain copies of their medical records, subject to the rule's limits; reasonable copying fees may apply. That is a right involving the covered medical practice, not a claim that every marketing form or website is covered by HIPAA. Male Excel's website privacy policy expressly separates information handled by medical practices from that website policy. ^34,35

Can you cancel Triclozene, and what's actually refundable?

Stopping future charges and getting money back are two different things. Male Excel advertises no contracts and the ability to pause or cancel, while its general terms make sales and fees nonrefundable unless a written exception applies. Cancellation can stop future billing without undoing a completed charge. ^1,12,13

Here's how it actually breaks down.

What the guarantee really covers

Male Excel advertises a 90-day results guarantee. The actual terms are more specific, and you should read them before you rely on them. ¹³

For an eligible claim, it refunds membership fees for the initial 90 days — three months at $99, so up to $297 at the advertised membership price.
It does not refund medication, the $99 consultation, or shipping.
You must complete a continuous 90-day period, attend all scheduled appointments, and follow the protocol as prescribed. Documentation of adherence may be required.
You must request the refund within 30 days after the 90-day period ends. Miss that window and it's gone.
Claims are evaluated on documented adherence and feedback from your medical provider.
The terms limit it to membership fees and assess improvement using their stated hormone assessment or patient-reported health measures. ¹³

Put that against the base fee models: $297 is about 12% of $2,427, or 11% of $2,727. This is a comparison of amounts, not guaranteed refund protection: Triclozene's eligibility for the program was not confirmed.

That's not a criticism — a written guarantee with published terms is more useful than a vague promise. It's just narrower than a refund of the whole treatment cost. And one thing we couldn't confirm: whether the Triclozene program specifically counts as the Excel Advantage Protocol. Ask. ¹³

What we'd want in writing before paying

How to cancel, and who to contact
The deadline before your next medication order processes
Whether canceling membership also stops medication refills — and whether stopping refills cancels membership
Which charges, if any, can be refunded
Whether this exact program qualifies for the guarantee

That last one connects back to a real customer signal. Remember Christopher Marr's review — the one about not being able to easily end an auto-refill. That's a single service report, not a policy. But it's the kind of thing that's much easier to sort out before you hand over a card than after.

On the other side of the ledger, Male Excel describes recurring medical check-ins rather than only sending refills. Its general FAQ says it contacts patients every two months for an assessment. That is useful to ask about, but we did not verify the exact Triclozene process or show that its monitoring exceeds other programs. ⁶

Who do you contact, and how early?

The FAQ lists support@maleexcel.com, 833-625-3392 by phone, and 833-394-7744 by text. Use a method that gives you a written record, identify both membership and medication refills, and request confirmation of what will stop and when. We did not test those channels. ⁶

The FAQ also describes a 48-hour action window after certain automatic TRT renewal reminders. That appears in the testosterone cream/injection discussion, so do not assume it is Triclozene's cancellation rule. Ask for the actual cutoff before the next medication order is processed. ⁶

How did we check this?

We used public documents, official labels, and clinical guidelines. We did not take Triclozene, open a patient account, test the checkout, contact support, or attempt a cancellation. Anything we couldn't confirm is listed as unconfirmed rather than smoothed over.

What we checked, September 10, 2026: Male Excel's Triclozene product page, pricing page, at-home test page, TRT FAQ, terms and conditions, and Excel Advantage Guarantee terms. FDA's 503A compounding materials, the thyroid notice and current explanation, the June 2022 advisory-committee minutes, and FDA-approved Clomid labeling. What we did not verify: the assigned clinician, individual licensing, response times, the dispensing pharmacy, the actual formula and strengths, checkout totals, or any cancellation process.

What else should you know about Triclozene?

These answers separate the branded blend from the medicines named in its public descriptions. The exact prescription and your care plan still need answers from the prescribing clinician.

Is Triclozene a steroid? The stated blend contains a SERM, thyroid medicine, and selenium, not an anabolic steroid such as testosterone. It is not correct to call the whole three-ingredient tablet a SERM. Clomiphene and enclomiphene are not federally scheduled controlled substances, but they are prescription medicines. ^1,2,9,20,23

Is Triclozene the same as Clomid? No. Clomid is an FDA-approved clomiphene product for ovulation induction in women. Triclozene is described as a compounded blend containing a SERM plus thyroid medicine plus selenium. It is not an FDA-approved generic equivalent of Clomid. ^1,2,7,9

What's the difference between clomiphene and enclomiphene? Clomiphene is a mixture of two forms of the same molecule. Per the FDA-approved Clomid label, 30–50% of it is zuclomiphene, the slower-clearing form that may have more estrogen-like activity. Enclomiphene is the other form on its own. Related, not identical. ⁹

How long does Triclozene take to work? Male Excel says it depends on your age and starting levels. We did not verify a clinical response timeline for this specific combination. A hormone change in an enclomiphene study is not a promised symptom or fertility result for Triclozene. ^1,18,30

Do I take it forever? What happens if I stop? Male Excel advertises short- and long-term use, but that is not proof of long-term results or safety for the blend. The duration and any change in treatment depend on the condition being treated and the clinician's plan. That's a question for the prescribing clinician, not a website. ¹

Can I get Triclozene without the thyroid part? The public Triclozene offer is one blended tablet; we did not verify a version without thyroid medicine. Ask whether the clinician offers separate treatment. Our enclomiphene provider comparison distinguishes single-ingredient and blended offers. ^1,2

Does insurance cover Triclozene? Male Excel's terms describe a cash-pay service and say it does not accept commercial insurance or participate in Medicare or Medicaid. Ask your plan administrator about HSA or FSA eligibility for this specific expense rather than assuming. ¹²

Can I use blood tests I already have? Ask Male Excel which results they accept and how recent they need to be. Don't assume existing labs replace their process.

Can I switch from Triclozene to testosterone later? That's a clinical decision with real tradeoffs, especially around fertility. Discuss it with your provider before starting either one.

Is Triclozene the same as triclosan? No. Triclosan is an antibacterial chemical, not clomiphene or enclomiphene. The similar-looking name does not identify the medicine in Triclozene. ¹⁹

What is the bottom line?

If you came here looking for proof that Triclozene works, the evidence we found does not establish it. What we can give you is the published ingredient conflict, two price models, the care questions, and a checklist to use before you commit. The next step is a clear written prescription and clinical explanation, not a leap from company stars to treatment results.

For a man whose clinician has confirmed the diagnosis, considered fertility, and explained a separate need for thyroid medicine, Triclozene is an offer to discuss — not a treatment this page can clear. The formula, dispensing details, costs, and monitoring still need to match that explanation.

For everyone else, the better first step is a proper evaluation.
