PrimeBody TRT Cost (2026): What You'll Really Pay Beyond the Monthly Price
Compare PrimeBody's published starting price, older package claim, processing fee, separate labs and cancellation terms before requesting an itemized quote.
Last updated: September 30, 2026
PrimeBody TRT cost starts at an advertised $129 a month; its March 2025 blog lists packages from $199. Twelve $129 payments plus the published 3% fee total $1,594.44 before separate labs and other extras. Neither figure is a complete quote. This may suit self-pay readers after written confirmation—not those needing insurance billing.

PrimeBody may fit you if it confirms care is available in your state, you're fine paying cash, and you're willing to get the full quote and cancellation terms in writing before you pay.
Look somewhere else first if PrimeBody won't give you an itemized quote before you share ID, you need insurance or itemized receipts for reimbursement, or you won't accept the terms in your offer. The six-month commitment is stated in the promotion, not established for every plan. And if you're trying to have a baby soon, start with a fertility-focused doctor, not any TRT subscription. Four things change your number: which plan you're quoted, the cost of your lab orders, whether you accept a confirmed promotion, and when you cancel. The displayed $400-credit banner carries a 6-month commitment, but its current eligibility and credit schedule need confirmation. That last cost—leaving—is easy to miss. We'll get to why. This page covers Primebody (primebody.com), the online program whose BBB profile lists a Scottsdale, Arizona address and the alternate name TG Primebody LLC. It is not Prime Body Solutions, a separate clinic in Liberty Lake near Spokane, Washington, which publishes a different price. How much does PrimeBody TRT cost per month?
PrimeBody's homepage lists testosterone plans starting at $129 a month. A PrimeBody blog post from March 2025, still available when checked, says packages start at $199 a month including medication and follow-ups; it does not establish which package is offered today. With the published 3% processing fee added, $129 becomes $132.87 and $199 becomes $204.97. Homepage · Blog · Policies
Two prices. Same company. Same website.
That's the first thing we noticed, and it's why "PrimeBody TRT cost" is harder to answer than it should be. PrimeBody doesn't say which plan the $129 covers, or whether the $199 package is the one most patients end up on. Both are "starting" prices, not maximums. A confirmed credit could lower what you pay; separate charges could raise it.

Monthly or weekly? Check before you do the math
PrimeBody's policies say payments are made weekly or monthly. If your quote is weekly, don't divide $129 by four and call it a weekly price. Use the weekly amount PrimeBody actually quotes you and count the real payment dates. Some 12-month windows can contain 53 weekly charge dates, depending on when billing starts. A year has a little over 52 weeks, not 48, so weekly billing can add up differently than "four payments a month." Billing policy
What does PrimeBody TRT cost for a full year?
Using PrimeBody's two published starting figures, 12 monthly payments with the 3% fee added come to $1,594.44 or $2,459.64. These are separate illustrations before bloodwork and other unconfirmed costs—not a complete yearly price or a guaranteed range. Treat any line you don't have in writing as unknown, not free. Price sources · Older package · Lab and fee policy
Here's the math, step by step. No guessing, no rounding tricks.
PrimeBody first-year cost model
| Scenario | Per payment (with 3% fee) | 12 months | What's still missing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Homepage price: $129/month | $132.87 | $1,594.44 | Bloodwork, what $129 includes, medication (if separate), shipping |
| Older blog package: $199/month | $204.97 | $2,459.64 | Current applicability, bloodwork, shipping and any extras not covered by the package |
| With the $400 promo credit | — | No verified net price | Whether you qualify, when it applies, what it offsets and whether it reduces the fee-bearing amount |
| Leaving early (see cancellation) | A scheduled $132.87 or $204.97 monthly payment may fall in the notice window | — | Actual plan, billing dates and any promotion agreement; not an automatic extra penalty |
How we got there: $129 × 1.03 = $132.87, and × 12 = $1,594.44. $199 × 1.03 = $204.97, and × 12 = $2,459.64.
The examples assume the quoted starting rate applies to all 12 payments, the 3% fee is additional, and no credit applies. They do not establish your plan, renewal rate or payment dates. Offer · Blog · Policies
A known total with blanks in it isn't a complete price. We label it that way on purpose: known subtotal, full cost incomplete.
Three numbers to get before you pay
Most cost pages hand you one monthly number. You need three.
- Due now. What leaves your account before any treatment starts? Ask whether a lab order, consultation or subscription payment is due before the clinical decision, and what accepted outside labs change.
- First-year total. Every required charge in 12 months, including labs and the fee.
- Exit cost. What you could still owe if you cancel billing. For PrimeBody, check the 30-day notice rule and any separate promotion commitment.
If a clinic can't give you all three in writing, you don't have a quote yet.
Also ask what renews after the first year, at what price, and on which dates. Count an advance payment once—not again as monthly charges for the same period. A monthly average is useful for comparison, but it does not tell you the cash needed today.
Is bloodwork included in PrimeBody's price?
No—PrimeBody's policies say lab orders are not included in the monthly subscription and are a separate charge. Its process describes a Labcorp draw or accepted recent results; the intake's lab notice calls for at least 8 hours of fasting. We could not find an initial or follow-up lab price on the public pages checked. Policies · Process · Intake notice
What PrimeBody's lab order tests
PrimeBody's sign-up page lists 10 lab items in its New York disclaimer. That is a published list, not proof of what every patient's paid panel includes. Here's what each one means in plain words. (This is general information. It's not a way to read your own results.) Published list
| Test | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Testosterone (total) | All the testosterone in your blood |
| Free testosterone | The part that isn't bound to proteins |
| Estradiol | A form of estrogen that men make too |
| Luteinizing hormone (LH) | A signal from the brain that tells the testes to make testosterone |
| Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) | A brain signal involved in making sperm |
| CBC (complete blood count) | Red and white blood cells, including hematocrit, the share of your blood made of red cells |
| PSA (prostate-specific antigen) | A protein used in prostate checks |
| Cholesterol | Blood fats |
| Liver enzymes | Markers that can help assess liver injury and other conditions |
| CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel) | Kidney function, blood sugar, electrolytes and more |
Some listed items overlap: a CMP commonly includes liver enzymes. Ask for the exact panel rather than adding ten separate test prices. The clinician should choose the tests and interpret them in context. CMP explanation · Testosterone tests
The LH and FSH tests are worth noticing. They help a clinician see why testosterone might be low, which matters for fertility and for spotting causes that need a specialist. Endocrine Society guidance
How long the lab step takes
PrimeBody publishes a typical timeline and a longer policy allowance. Budget time for both:
- Its hormone-replacement page says the lab order is scheduled within 2 to 3 business days, and the doctor review "typically" takes 3 to 5 business days.
- Its policies page says providers have 10 business days to review labs once they have everything they need, and that you'll get a PDF of your lab order within 3 business days of paying.
Those are provider-stated timelines, not response times we tested. Ask when billing begins during that wait. Process · Policies
One blood test doesn't diagnose low testosterone
This matters for your wallet and your health. The Endocrine Society calls for symptoms or signs of low testosterone plus consistently low levels, including at least two early-morning fasting tests. Tests need accurate methods and appropriate reference ranges; one result or one cutoff is not a diagnosis. Clinical guideline · July 2026 testing statement
PrimeBody's public pages describe one lab order, then a doctor review. They don't say whether a second morning test happens before a prescription. Ask. If a repeat test is needed, ask what it costs. PrimeBody process
Can you use labs you already have?
PrimeBody says you can request bloodwork through them or provide your most recent labs. Its New York notice says it cannot complete labs there and offers two paths: a neighboring-state draw or accepted results from your primary care doctor containing the required tests. Ask PrimeBody which results it accepts and whether that lowers your first charge. Get the answer in writing. Process · New York notice
The honest trade-off
PrimeBody does not include lab work in its monthly price. If including follow-up labs in the membership is your top priority, Hone Health's Plus plan is worth comparing: its $135 monthly fee includes follow-up labs and consults, but medication and entry testing cost extra. PrimeBody separately says it accepts recent outside results for review; that does not prove a waived charge or that those results meet the full diagnostic requirements. For someone who already has labs in hand, the useful next step is to ask which tests can be accepted and which costs remain. PrimeBody process · Policies · Hone Plus

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.
The tool is educational and does not diagnose. It can't confirm low testosterone, decide eligibility, or guarantee a prescription.
What other PrimeBody fees should you know about?
Beyond the monthly price and labs, PrimeBody's policies list a 3% fee on every payment, a $100 fee to replace medication you damage, and a $50 reroute fee for late address changes. The processing fee is routine; the replacement and reroute fees depend on what happens. They're the rules that decide what a bad week costs. PrimeBody policies
We pulled these from PrimeBody's policies page. One tip: PrimeBody's billing rules live on the page its footer calls "Privacy Policy." It is easy to miss when you're looking for billing terms.
PrimeBody fee and policy map
| Rule | What PrimeBody's policy says | What it means for your budget |
|---|---|---|
| Processing fee | 3% on all payments | Adds about $3.87 to a $129 payment and $5.97 to a $199 payment. Ask if it applies to lab orders too. |
| Billing basis | A subscription for monthly services, not per medication package | A month without a shipment doesn't guarantee a refund |
| Refund timing | If a refund is issued, the policy allows 7 to 10 business days, depending on your bank | This is a timing statement, not a promise that a refund is owed |
| Missed payment | Can delay your services | A failed card can mean a gap in treatment |
| Payment date changes | Can be pushed within 7 days of the draft date, same month only | Some flexibility, not a pause |
| You damage or break medication | Replacement with a photo, for a $100 fee | A real cost if accidents happen |
| Package arrives damaged | Report within 72 hours with photos for a free replacement | Check boxes the day they arrive |
| Package marked delivered but missing | PrimeBody requires a police report for a one-time replacement | This is PrimeBody's stated replacement policy, not a universal legal rule |
| Address change | Tell PrimeBody 14 business days before your next refill, or pay a $50 reroute fee | Moving? Update early |
| Early refills | PrimeBody can't move up refills of controlled substances | Traveling? Plan around your refill date |
| Travel letters | Available if requested 7 business days before you leave | Useful if you fly with medication |
| Response time | Staff have 24 hours to reply to calls and emails, not counting weekends and holidays | A Friday afternoon question may wait until Monday |
Source: PrimeBody policies, checked September 30, 2026. These are published rules, not response times or replacements we tested. A travel letter does not by itself establish permission to carry medication into another country.
The first shipment has a separate address warning. The intake page says its shipping address cannot be changed for 30 days and directs change requests to PrimeBody. Ask how that first-shipment rule fits with the 14-business-day notice for later refills. TRT intake
What's the catch with PrimeBody's $400 credit?
PrimeBody's displayed $400-credit banner requires a 6-month commitment, but it does not establish current eligibility or when the credit applies. Six payments at $129 plus 3% total $797.22; at the older $199 package figure, they total $1,229.82, before labs and other extras. The New Year's banner was still displayed on September 30, 2026—not proof that the offer was still available. Offer · Older package claim · Fee policy
A $400 credit can cut a bill. But this banner ties it to a six-month promise from you.
The 6-month math
| Monthly-price assumption | 6 payments with 3% fee | Hypothetical subtraction of $400 after the fee—not a quoted net price |
|---|---|---|
| $129 | $797.22 | $397.22 |
| $199 | $1,229.82 | $829.82 |
That last column assumes the quoted rate applies for all six payments and the whole credit is subtracted after the processing fee inside those six months. The result changes if the credit reduces the amount on which the fee is charged. PrimeBody's banner doesn't say how or when the credit is applied. Neither column includes separately charged labs or other extras. So ask:
- Does the credit reduce the membership, the medication, or both?
- Is it spread out, or applied all at once? Does it expire?
- What happens if a doctor decides TRT isn't right for you in month two?
- What do you owe if you stop in month three?
No countdown clock, no "ends tonight." The inspected banner did not give an end date. Don't let a banner rush a medical decision. PrimeBody banner
How does PrimeBody cancellation work, and what could you still owe?
PrimeBody requires 30 days' written notice to cancel, sent by email form or portal message to your patient care coordinator. Its policy says a final payment may be required if one falls inside that 30-day window, and it offers no account hold or freeze. A separate promo commitment can add its own terms. PrimeBody cancellation policy
Here's the part we promised at the top. Budget for leaving as well as joining.
What PrimeBody's cancellation policy says
- 30 days' written notice to your current patient care coordinator (email form or portal message).
- A final payment may be required if a billing date falls inside those 30 days. If one monthly payment is due, the two price examples would be $132.87 or $204.97 with the fee added—not an automatic cancellation penalty. On weekly billing, it could be several weekly payments.
- No hold or freeze. You can't pause the account. You stay or you cancel.
- The displayed $400 promo states a 6-month commitment if you accept that offer. Get its early-exit terms; do not assume the notice period cancels the commitment. PrimeBody policies · Banner
What customers report
Customer stories don't prove a policy, and they aren't typical by default. But they show where people get stuck. PrimeBody's Better Business Bureau file lists four complaints from November 2024 to February 2026 about billing after a cancellation request: charges that continued past the 30-day window, refunds that were promised but not received, and one person told to pay a final month without getting another shipment. These are allegations in company-wide records, including non-TRT orders, not independently verified events or a TRT complaint rate. BBB complaints
One BBB reviewer, Rodney C., summed up his experience this way: PrimeBody would "leave you fighting weekly to cancel." That's one person's account, not proof of how every cancellation goes. Rodney C., BBB profile We did not establish the reviewer's full circumstances or any material relationship with the provider.
Already a PrimeBody patient and want to stop?
- Send your cancellation in writing through the portal or email form. Save a screenshot with the date and time.
- Ask for your final billing date in writing. Get confirmation that PrimeBody received your notice, the effective cancellation date and which payment dates fall inside the notice period.
- Ask for your records. PrimeBody says you can get lab results through the Labcorp patient portal or from your coordinator. Also request visit notes and your prescription history, and ask about the process, timing and any fees. The inspected policies did not establish a complete medical-record export process. PrimeBody policies
- Don't stop or change testosterone on your own. Talk to a clinician about what comes next, whether that's a new provider or a plan to stop safely. Clinical guidance
- If you're charged after your confirmed final date, contact PrimeBody and promptly ask your card issuer about its dispute process and deadlines. Keep the agreement, notice and replies. This does not determine whether a charge is legally owed. Credit-card dispute guidance
Does PrimeBody take insurance, HSA or FSA?
PrimeBody does not accept insurance, doesn't fill out insurance forms, and doesn't provide superbills. Its policy also says that if you pay with an HSA card, it can't give itemized receipts for reimbursement, and you use the HSA "at your own risk." Generic receipts are available on request. PrimeBody policies
That's clear. It's also a real limit.
- Insurance: None. PrimeBody calls itself a self-pay concierge service. In a 2024 BBB response, it described itself as an elective service rather than a medical necessity. That was the company's explanation of its business model, not a finding about your medical need. Policies · Company response
- HSA or FSA: The policy discusses HSA-card payments; it does not establish FSA-card acceptance. A successful card charge does not prove that the expense qualifies. IRS rules require appropriate records, and an FSA administrator may require substantiation. Ask your HSA or FSA administrator what they need before you rely on it. Provider policy · IRS Publication 969
If you need insurance to pay, a cash program isn't your best first stop. Start with your own doctor, a urologist or an endocrinologist, and ask about FDA-approved testosterone products your plan covers. Compare online and local TRT care.
Is PrimeBody's testosterone FDA-approved or compounded?
The PrimeBody pages we checked do not identify the exact product or establish its FDA status. Its blog uses the term "lyophilized testosterone" (a freeze-dried form) but does not name the product, maker or pharmacy; that wording alone does not identify what you would receive. Ask, because compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before sale. PrimeBody blog · FDA compounding information
Here's why that question matters, in plain terms.
| Question | FDA-approved testosterone | Compounded testosterone |
|---|---|---|
| Reviewed by the FDA before sale | Yes | No |
| FDA-approved prescribing information for that product | Yes | No; a dispensing label is not FDA approval |
| What to ask about payment | Ask the insurer about the exact product and your coverage | Ask about the exact preparation; do not assume reimbursement |
| Production framework | An approved product made under the applicable manufacturing requirements | May be compounded by a licensed pharmacist or physician, or at an outsourcing facility under pharmacist supervision |
A compounded product is not an FDA-approved generic. Compounding alone does not establish that a product is equivalent, safer or more natural. It's a different regulatory path. Your clinician can explain why one might be chosen over the other for you. FDA compounding information
PrimeBody's homepage also says its treatments use "clinically proven ingredients," and its blog says protocols follow FDA guidelines. We found no documents on PrimeBody's site backing either claim, so we can't repeat them as fact. Homepage · Blog · What FDA approval means
Peptides and other add-ons
PrimeBody also sells peptides, weight-loss programs and erectile dysfunction medicine. Those are separate decisions with separate prices. Several of PrimeBody's BBB complaints involve peptide orders that were delayed or never arrived. If a peptide is suggested, ask what it costs, why it's recommended for you, and what its approval status is. The complaint reports are not evidence of how a particular medication performs. Peptides and other non-testosterone medicines are not TRT. PrimeBody programs · BBB complaints
Which states does PrimeBody serve?
PrimeBody's public intake does not establish a definitive TRT coverage map. The retrieved form contains a 38-state notice, a broader all-state notice and Canadian locations, so the lists cannot by themselves confirm where a clinician can treat you. New York's notice offers either an out-of-state draw or submission of qualifying results from your own doctor. TRT intake
The shorter state list shown in the intake—not confirmed coverage (September 30, 2026)

Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont and Wyoming are absent from that shorter list. But the same retrieved form also contains a broader 50-state-and-D.C. notice and Canadian provinces and territories. We did not establish which notice governs your application, and neither list verifies a clinician's license. Confirm with PrimeBody before you pay that it treats TRT patients where you live, and request the clinician's name and state authority. TRT intake
Could a year-long plan cross a rule change?
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. That's a federal category for drugs with accepted medical use and some risk of misuse, and it means you need a valid prescription. DEA scheduling · Federal prescribing rule
The current federal extension lets appropriately authorized, DEA-registered clinicians prescribe Schedule II–V medicines through qualifying telemedicine without a prior in-person evaluation, subject to its conditions. For testosterone, this is not permission for a questionnaire-only prescription: the rule requires an appropriate real-time audio-video encounter, a legitimate medical purpose and compliance with applicable law. The extension runs through December 31, 2026. Federal Register rule
If you start a 6-month or 12-month plan in September 2026, it will cross that date. Ask PrimeBody, or any online program, what happens if an in-person visit becomes required, and who pays for it. State rules can add their own requirements too. The expiry date is not proof that every patient will need an in-person visit on January 1; rules and the patient's circumstances must be checked then. We did not verify an individual PrimeBody prescriber's state or federal authority. Federal Register rule
Is PrimeBody legit?
PrimeBody has an identifiable public business profile, not a verified clinical-quality endorsement. BBB lists a Scottsdale address, the alternate name TG Primebody LLC, a 2004 start date and 2014 incorporation; those are BBB-listed details, not our audit of Arizona registration. Its D- rating cites failure to respond to four complaints, and it is not BBB accredited. BBB profile
Legit and easy to deal with aren't the same thing. Here's the complaint snapshot behind the billing questions.
PrimeBody's BBB complaint record (3-year window, checked September 30, 2026)
| Complaint theme | How many | When |
|---|---|---|
| Charged after asking to cancel, or told to pay a final month | 4 | November 2024 to February 2026 |
| Medication or peptides delayed, missing or sent to the wrong address | 4 | February to May 2024 |
| Double charges | 2 | February 2024 and February 2026 |
| Promo not delivered as advertised | 1 | February 2026 |
Some complaints touch more than one theme. Status: 4 unanswered, 2 answered, 2 resolved. PrimeBody said it issued refunds in the two answered cases; we did not verify those payments. The BBB itself notes that a company's size and volume matter when reading complaint counts. These eight records include non-TRT services, are not a patient-problem rate and do not establish clinical outcomes. BBB complaints
The other side
The BBB file also contains two complaints marked resolved and two marked answered. Those statuses belong beside the unanswered complaints, but an answer does not establish that the customer accepted the result. None of these records tells you how your care will go. BBB complaints
Two details about PrimeBody's paperwork
- Its billing rules are on the page labeled "Privacy Policy." Read those rules rather than relying on the monthly price alone. PrimeBody policies
- A public policy page is not your signed treatment agreement. We did not obtain that agreement. Ask for the actual contracting company, minimum term, promotion conditions and cancellation terms before paying.
These records do not establish a scam or a clinical-quality endorsement. They do make getting your terms in writing more important.
How do you get a real PrimeBody quote before you pay?
Ask PrimeBody seven specific questions by email, so the answers are in writing: the lab order price, what $129 and $199 each include, the exact medication and pharmacy, the repeat-test and follow-up schedule, the commitment length, your cancellation timing, and how you'll get your records. Then fill in the worksheet below.
PrimeBody says you can speak with a provider before you enroll. Use that. Its listed office hours are Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone: 844-845-2478. Hi, I'm considering PrimeBody's TRT program and would like a written, itemized estimate before I enroll. Please tell me:
- The price of the initial lab order, and whether the 3% processing fee applies to it.
- Which plan the $129 homepage price refers to, what it includes, and how it differs from the $199 package on your blog.
- The exact proposed testosterone product, manufacturer or compounder, FDA status and dispensing pharmacy, plus the prescribing clinician's name and authority to treat me in my state.
- Whether a second early-morning testosterone test is done before prescribing, and the follow-up lab schedule and cost.
- Whether billing is weekly or monthly, and every payment date in my first 12 months.
- The minimum commitment with and without the $400 credit, whether that offer is available, how the credit and fees are applied, and my final charge if I cancel. What is refundable if a clinician decides treatment is not appropriate?
- How I can get copies of my labs, visit notes and prescription history if I leave, including timing and any fees.
Please list any charge not included in the monthly price. Thank you.

How does PrimeBody's cost compare with Male Excel and Hone Health?
PrimeBody's $1,594.44 example excludes unpriced labs and other unresolved charges. Using published starting figures, our comparable-period calculations are $1,710 for Hone Plus before medication and $2,727 for Male Excel's injection package before shipping and any other unconfirmed charges. These are our models, not complete provider quotes, and they do not establish which program is cheapest. PrimeBody policies · Male Excel pricing · Hone Plus
This isn't a ranking. It's a check on whether PrimeBody's price is actually cheaper once the blanks are filled in.
PrimeBody vs Male Excel vs Hone Health (checked September 30, 2026)
| Cost or care question | PrimeBody | Male Excel | Hone Health (Plus) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Modeled first-year subtotal—not an all-in quote | $1,594.44 at $129; $2,459.64 at the older $199 figure. Labs and other unresolved charges extra | $2,727 for starting injections or $2,871 for starting cream, plus shipping and any other unconfirmed charges | $1,710 using at-lab confirmation, plus medication; $1,745 using at-home confirmation |
| How it's built | Twelve $129 payments, or twelve at the older $199 figure, with 3% added | $99 consultation + twelve $99 membership payments + six medication payments at the starting every-other-month price | $45 first test + $45 at-lab confirmation + twelve $135 membership payments + medication |
| First testing | Labcorp process or accepted outside results; a 10-item list appears in the New York instructions; no lab price found | $99 consultation includes a mailed at-home hormone test kit | $45 at-home test (8 markers), then a second total testosterone test with hematocrit, PSA and prolactin |
| Repeat testing before treatment | A second morning test is not established in the inspected process | The inspected pages do not establish two morning tests before a new prescription; the homepage says prescribing may occur before results arrive when clinically appropriate | A second total testosterone test is stated for TRT patients; confirm early-morning collection instructions |
| Follow-up labs | Labs are separately charged; individualized schedule and price not established | Every 6 months, included in membership (provider-stated) | Included in membership; the plan links to treatment-specific schedules |
| Medication price | Not itemized; the older $199 blog package says medication is included | Injections from $120/month; cream from $132/month; both shown as 60-day supplies billed every other month and include thyroid tablets | Estimated testosterone cypionate from $28 per vial, not per month; compounded cream $60/month |
| FDA-approved or compounded | Exact product not established | Compounded testosterone, not FDA-approved | Cream is labeled compounded; the cypionate price alone does not identify an FDA-approved product or its manufacturer |
| Commitment | Displayed promo states 6 months; ordinary-plan minimum not established | No contract, cancel anytime (provider-stated); confirm treatment and refill terms | Monthly membership shown; obtain the applicable commitment and billing terms |
| Cancellation | 30 days' written notice; final payment may be due | Provider says cancel anytime; confirm cutoff and already-placed medication orders | Cancellation cutoff, final debit and medication-order terms were not verified on the Plus page |
| Insurance / HSA | No insurance or superbills; HSA itemized-receipt limitation | No insurance; advertises FSA/HSA eligibility, subject to account rules | Plus pricing is not an insurance-coverage determination; confirm billing and documentation |
| States | Conflicting public form lists; confirm your state and prescriber | Provider lists exclusions: AL, AK, AR, CT, HI, ID, LA, MN, MS, NH, RI | Confirm state access and prescriber before paying |

Year-one model: Male Excel injections = $99 + ($99 × 12) + ($240 × 6) = $2,727. Male Excel cream = $99 + $1,188 + ($264 × 6) = $2,871. Hone Plus = $45 + $45 + ($135 × 12) = $1,710; adding twelve months of compounded cream at the estimated $60 monthly rate gives $2,430. These assume unchanged starting prices and the payment counts shown, not a promise of the actual annual bill. Male Excel pricing · Hone Plus
Male Excel describes a 60-day supply and every-other-month billing. Six literal 60-day supplies cover 360 days, not a full calendar year. Ask for refill and payment dates rather than assuming the model settles every day of treatment or the number of charges due in your first 12 months.
Which one fits you?
- You want PrimeBody and it confirms access in your state. Send the seven questions, get the answers in writing, then compare them to the table above.
- You want a published membership and medication breakdown with regular check-ins. Male Excel is worth comparing after you resolve shipping, testing and the bundled thyroid medication. Its modeled subtotal is higher than PrimeBody's lowest example; the complete-cost difference is not established. Male Excel pricing · Homepage FAQ
- You want repeat testing before treatment and follow-up labs baked into the monthly fee. Hone Health's Plus plan explicitly lists both. Confirm collection timing and the clinician's full diagnostic process; the second-test listing alone does not verify that every clinical standard is met. Hone Plus · Clinical guidance
- You live in Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota or Mississippi. Those states appear in PrimeBody's shorter list, but Male Excel lists them as excluded. Do not treat that as confirmed PrimeBody access; check availability with PrimeBody or Hone, or use Find My TRT Path. PrimeBody intake · Male Excel state list
- You need insurance to pay. PrimeBody and Male Excel state that they are self-pay. Hone's Plus page does not establish insurance billing for your plan. Start with your own doctor and insurer. PrimeBody policies · Male Excel pricing · Hone Plus
- You want an FDA-approved testosterone product specifically. Ask each program in writing, or go through your own doctor and a retail pharmacy.
Male Excel: every line on the table
The price model: Male Excel's starting injection and cream figures produce subtotals of $2,727 and $2,871 before shipping and any other unconfirmed charges. That's more than PrimeBody's lowest example, not proof of a higher all-in bill. The published components are a $99 consultation, a $99 monthly membership, and medication shown as a 60-day supply billed every other month. The membership covers support-team messaging, e-visits with your provider, 60-day check-ins and lab testing every six months, and Male Excel says there's no contract. Male Excel pricing · Homepage FAQ
Things to know before you click:
- The testosterone is compounded, not FDA-approved. Male Excel disclosure · FDA
- The starting packages include daily thyroid tablets. Ask whether thyroid medicine is right for you, and whether you can decline it. Also ask how declining it changes the price. A bundle is not evidence that you need every medicine in it. Male Excel pricing
- Price changes with your dose. "Starting at" is a floor here too. Male Excel pricing
- Male Excel lists 11 states as excluded (listed in the table). Male Excel state list
- Its homepage advertises a 90-day guarantee for the initial three months of membership fees if symptoms do not improve under its conditions. It excludes medication. Get the applicable guarantee terms; this is a provider promise, not an outcome or refund we tested. Male Excel homepage
One clinical question comes before a pricing click. Male Excel's homepage says its clinicians may prescribe from symptoms and health history before lab results arrive when clinically appropriate. Ask whether that statement applies to new, untreated patients and how the clinician confirms consistently low morning testosterone before starting TRT. Do not treat a promise of fast prescribing as a substitute for diagnosis. Male Excel homepage · Endocrine Society guidance
If a published membership-and-medication breakdown matters to you, use it to ask for the missing charges—not to skip the clinical questions.
See Male Excel's current pricing →
Hone Health Plus: follow-up labs in the membership
The price model: Hone's Plus plan lists $45 for a first at-home test, $45 for a confirmation test at a lab (or $80 at home), then $135 a month. Follow-up labs, consults and shipping are included. Medication is billed on top: the page estimates testosterone cypionate from $28 per vial and compounded cream at $60 a month. Before medication, twelve membership payments plus the two at-lab-path testing charges total $1,710; using at-home confirmation instead gives $1,745. Hone Plus
Things to know: medication cost depends on your prescription, so the subtotal is not a treatment quote. A $28 vial is not necessarily a month's medication. Confirm cancellation timing, already-placed medication orders and the final debit; the inspected Plus page did not establish those terms. Hone Plus

Before any TRT program: what should come first?
A price comparison can't tell you whether testosterone is the right treatment. A proper diagnosis comes first, and when you're planning children soon, fertility care comes before any TRT subscription. Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production, but it is not reliable contraception. Clinical guidance · Male infertility guidance
Two situations change everything.
You haven't been properly tested yet. Low energy, low sex drive, poor sleep and weight gain have many causes. A symptom quiz or one lab result can't diagnose low testosterone. Start with your primary care doctor, a urologist or an endocrinologist, or read our guide to TRT blood tests. Endocrine Society diagnostic guidance
You're trying to conceive now or soon. Testosterone from outside the body can tell your brain to slow down its signals to the testes. That can reduce spermatogenesis (sperm production). It doesn't mean you'll become infertile, and nobody can promise how fast sperm counts come back after stopping. Medicines like clomiphene or hCG are not testosterone replacement therapy, and they aren't a guaranteed fix. Start with a reproductive urologist. Read our TRT and fertility guide. Male infertility guidance
Approval is specific to the medicine and use. Clomiphene is used off-label for male infertility. The approved hCG product Pregnyl has a labeled use in selected male cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism—a disorder of the hormonal signals that drive testosterone production—not a guarantee of fertility for every TRT patient. We did not verify an approved enclomiphene product for this comparison, so no enclomiphene option is recommended here. AUA/ASRM guidance · Pregnyl prescribing information
Other reasons to have the clinical setting settled before choosing a subscription include very unusual lab results, a history of prostate or breast cancer, untreated severe sleep apnea, a recent heart attack or stroke, or signs of a pituitary or testicular problem. These may require specialist assessment or an in-person examination; a price table cannot decide that. Endocrine Society guidance
Follow-up is part of the cost, not an optional extra to skip. Ask who checks symptoms, blood pressure, testosterone and hematocrit, and what happens if results need attention. Hematocrit is the share of blood made up of red cells. FDA required testosterone labeling changes in 2025 that included blood-pressure warnings; a low advertised price does not remove the need for appropriate monitoring. What did we actually verify?
We built this page from PrimeBody's own public pages and policies, the BBB's public file, and federal and medical sources, all checked on September 30, 2026. We did not enroll, upload ID, pay, or receive care, so this is a cost guide, not a hands-on review.
Last verified: September 30, 2026
Verified public wording and calculations—not delivery of care:
- PrimeBody's $129 starting homepage offer and the older $199 package claim in its March 20, 2025 blog; neither establishes your current personal quote
- The 3% processing fee, separate lab charge, 30-day written cancellation notice, possible final payment, no account hold, $100 patient-damage replacement fee, $50 reroute fee, 14-business-day address rule, 24-hour response window and no-insurance/no-superbill policy
- The displayed $400-credit banner and its stated 6-month commitment, not current eligibility or the credit schedule
- The 10-item lab list and 8-hour fasting notice in the New York intake instructions, plus the alternative of submitting qualifying outside results
- The shorter 38-state list and conflicting broader notices in the TRT form—not a verified coverage map
- The BBB rating (D-), complaint counts and dates
- Male Excel's and Hone Health's published price components and stated inclusions; Male Excel's published state exclusions, not individualized access
- The DEA's telemedicine extension through December 31, 2026, with the conditions in the issued federal rule
Provider-stated (published by the company, not tested by us):
- What PrimeBody's $199 package includes; lab and review timelines; that you can talk to a provider before enrolling; that it accepts recent outside labs; "lyophilized testosterone"
- Male Excel's no-contract/cancel-anytime and FSA/HSA statements; its advertised review and testing schedule; Hone's stated confirmation-test and follow-up-lab inclusions
Could not confirm:
- PrimeBody's lab order price
- What the $129 plan includes
- Whether PrimeBody's testosterone is FDA-approved or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it
- Whether PrimeBody does a repeat morning test before prescribing
- Whether the seasonal $400 offer applies to a new quote, how the credit and fees interact, and any early-exit balance
- A complete first-year quote, accepted outside-lab criteria, individualized monitoring schedule, exact shipping charges, clinical-ineligibility refund terms or a signed treatment agreement
- An assigned PrimeBody clinician's credentials and state authority, the dispensing pharmacy's applicable licenses, or a complete medical-record export process
- Individualized access, clinical performance or complete cancellation terms for the alternatives

Editorial conclusion: PrimeBody is worth a written-quote inquiry for a self-pay reader whose clinical needs and state access fit. What else should you know about PrimeBody TRT cost?
PrimeBody's starting offers leave questions about labs, the actual plan and the final bill. These answers summarize what is documented and what still needs a written quote.
How much does PrimeBody TRT cost?
PrimeBody's homepage lists TRT from $129 a month, and its March 2025 blog lists packages from $199 including medication and follow-ups. With the published 3% fee added, twelve payments would total $1,594.44 or $2,459.64 under those separate assumptions. Neither is an all-in quote or a price ceiling; labs and other required extras need confirmation. Homepage · Blog · Policies
Does PrimeBody include bloodwork?
No. PrimeBody's policies say its lab orders are not part of the monthly subscription and are separately charged. Its process describes Labcorp draws or accepted recent outside results, and its intake includes an 8-hour fasting instruction. Confirm the required tests, collection timing and price for your evaluation. Policies · Process · Intake
Does PrimeBody charge a processing fee?
Yes. PrimeBody's policies say all payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. On a $129 payment that's $3.87; on a $199 payment it's $5.97. Ask whether the quoted amount already includes it. PrimeBody policies
What is PrimeBody's $400 credit?
Its displayed banner describes a $400 credit toward future TRT costs with a 6-month commitment. Six payments with 3% added would total $797.22 at $129 or $1,229.82 at the older $199 figure, before labs and other extras. Confirm that the offer is available, which plan qualifies, and how and when the credit is applied. PrimeBody banner · Blog · Policies
How do I cancel PrimeBody?
Send 30 days' written notice through the email form or portal message to your patient care coordinator. PrimeBody's policy says a final payment may be required if one falls inside that window, and there's no account hold or freeze. Keep a dated copy of your request. Ask for receipt, the effective end date and the final balance, including any separate promotion terms. PrimeBody policies
Does PrimeBody take insurance?
No. PrimeBody says it's a self-pay concierge service. It doesn't accept insurance, fill out insurance forms, or provide superbills. PrimeBody policies
Can I use my HSA or FSA at PrimeBody?
PrimeBody's policy discusses HSA-card payments but limits itemized receipts; it offers generic receipts on request. It does not establish FSA-card acceptance or that your expense qualifies. Check acceptance and required documentation with the provider and your account administrator before paying. PrimeBody policies · IRS guidance
Is PrimeBody legit?
BBB lists PrimeBody with a Scottsdale address, the alternate name TG Primebody LLC and a 2004 business start date. Its D- grade cites four unanswered complaints; eight complaints appear in the three-year window. These records identify a business and issues to check, not verified clinical quality or corporate standing. BBB profile · Complaints
What states does PrimeBody serve for TRT?
The retrieved form contains a 38-state list and conflicting broader U.S. and Canadian notices. That is not a verified coverage map. Confirm your state and the assigned clinician before paying. For New York labs, the notice offers an out-of-state draw or qualifying results from your own doctor. PrimeBody intake
Is PrimeBody's testosterone compounded?
The inspected pages do not establish that. The blog's product wording does not name the exact preparation or dispensing pharmacy. Ask for the product, manufacturer or compounder, pharmacy and FDA status before you pay. PrimeBody blog · FDA compounding information
Is PrimeBody the same as Prime Body Solutions?
No. Prime Body Solutions is a separate local clinic near Spokane, Washington, with its own prices. PrimeBody (primebody.com) is an online program based in Scottsdale, Arizona. BBB profile · Prime Body Solutions
Is PrimeBody cheaper than Male Excel or Hone Health?
PrimeBody's lowest starting-price example is lower, but its unpriced labs and unresolved inclusions prevent a fair all-in comparison. Our Male Excel starting-injection model is $2,727 before shipping and other unconfirmed charges; the Hone Plus at-lab-confirmation model is $1,710 before medication. Get like-for-like written quotes before deciding which costs less. PrimeBody policies · Male Excel pricing · Hone Plus
Does paying PrimeBody guarantee a testosterone prescription?
No. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. A licensed clinician has to decide it's appropriate for you, and no payment or questionnaire guarantees that. Diagnosis also needs appropriate clinical evaluation and confirmatory testing. DEA · Federal prescribing conditions · Endocrine Society
