Men's T Clinic Cost: What Weekly TRT Really Costs in 2026
Men's T Clinic cost is $395 a month for weekly in-clinic testosterone injections without insurance, according to the clinic. It says that includes four office visits, injections, and related lab work. Twelve monthly payments total $4,740; your final bill depends on insurance, any separate startup charges, and how fifth-week visits are handled.
We'll show you that detail first.
Best for: Men in Dallas–Fort Worth or Houston who want the clinic's trained team to give every dose in person, like same-morning lab results, and either have insurance that covers weekly visits well or can budget a $4,740 annual base plus any separate fees.
Not for you if: You live beyond reach of its DFW or Houston clinics, can't get to a clinic every week, or want routine home treatment from the start. The clinic mentions direct therapy for some patients, but its published $395 offer is for weekly in-clinic care. Jump to the comparison.

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.
What we actually verified (short version):
On October 19, 2026, we read Men's T Clinic's own TRT, payment, process, location, and team pages, then did the math. The $395 price and what it covers are the clinic's own published words. We didn't enroll, get treated, or see a real bill. Full verification details are near the end.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.
The tool is educational and non-diagnostic. It does not decide medical eligibility or guarantee a prescription.
How much does Men's T Clinic cost per month?
Men's T Clinic lists $395 a month for weekly testosterone injections without insurance. The clinic says that covers four office visits, the injections, and related lab work.
That works out to about $99 per included visit. Prices for gels, creams, and pellets are not published on the pages reviewed; the main payment page mentions memberships but gives no price or terms.
Here's the odd part. The clinic's Payment Options page talks about "insurance, cash, and membership options" but shows no numbers. The $395 lives in an FAQ on a different page, under the question "Does insurance cover testosterone therapy?" Easy to miss.
So what does $395 actually buy?
The per-visit math: $395 ÷ 4 included visits = $98.75 per included visit.
That number explains why this price looks high next to online programs. You're not just paying for medicine. The stated package combines office visits, injections, and related lab work. Ask who you see at routine visits and which visits include blood tests.
One more useful detail: the clinic says it also offers a separate blood panel menu. That's a list of tests it can run. It doesn't tell you which of those tests the $395 package covers. Ask.
How much does Men's T Clinic cost for a full year?
Twelve payments at Men's T Clinic's published $395 monthly rate total $4,740 in cash. That is the annual base, before any separately billed startup care, fifth-week visits, or add-ons; get those answers before calling it your full first-year cost.
This is the detail we promised at the top.
Use 52 weekly visits as a planning example. Four visits a month for 12 months is only 48 visits. That leaves four visits whose coverage needs an answer.
We're not saying the clinic overcharges anyone. Maybe a 5-week month is simply covered. Maybe it isn't. The public pages don't say. The hypothetical extra $395 applies only if the clinic actually quotes a thirteenth four-visit charge. Ask: "Is the $395 billed per calendar month or per four visits? What happens in a month with five weekly visits?"
The annual base does not establish the cost of:
- Your first visit and initial or confirming blood tests, if billed separately (not published)
- Any add-on treatments
- Gels, creams, or pellets, if you choose them
- Interest, if you finance with CareCredit
How much time do 52 visits take?
Money isn't the only cost of a weekly-visit plan. Your hours count too.
The 15-minute in-clinic time and 52 visits are our planning assumptions. Men's T Clinic says the initial visit and a return testing/injection appointment take about 30 minutes; neither establishes the duration of every routine shot visit. At 30 minutes in clinic, the two examples become 52 and 78 hours. Parking, waiting, and any separate startup visits add time.
Thirty-nine hours is a full work week. For some men, that's a fair trade for having a pro handle every dose. For others, it's the dealbreaker. Either answer is fine. Just make it on purpose.
Does CareCredit make it cheaper?
No. Men's T Clinic accepts CareCredit, which is a medical credit card. It spreads payments out. It doesn't lower the price. Before using it, read CareCredit's actual terms for your account, including what happens if a promotional balance isn't paid off in time. With a deferred-interest offer, interest can be charged from the purchase date if the promotional balance is not paid in full by its deadline. CareCredit explains those terms here.
Want the billing answer before your first visit? Call Men's T Clinic at 1-800-246-LOWT and ask one question: "Per month, or per four visits?" Write down the date and who told you.
Does Men's T Clinic take insurance?
Men's T Clinic says it accepts most insurance for testosterone therapy and bloodwork, and checks your coverage before your first visit. For the weekly injection plan, what you pay depends on your coverage for visits, labs, and medicine. Get that answer from both the clinic and your insurer.
Insurance can make Men's T Clinic cheaper than paying cash. It can also make it more expensive than you'd guess. Here's why.
For a 52-visit budget, multiply a fixed per-visit charge by 52. Your actual total also depends on whether the charge changes after you meet your deductible or your plan-year out-of-pocket maximum.
This is arithmetic, not a quote. The fixed-charge rows assume the same charge for 52 visits and do not account for your plan-year out-of-pocket maximum. Your plan decides the real number. How deductibles and coinsurance work.
The $89 row is a hypothetical example, not a verified Men's T Clinic copay. At $89 a visit for 52 visits, the $4,628 subtotal is just $112 below the $4,740 cash base before any separate lab or medicine cost-share. It shows how fast a weekly copay adds up.
How diagnosis and insurance coverage differ
Your insurer sets its own coverage rules. The Endocrine Society's guideline calls for symptoms or signs plus consistently low testosterone, confirmed with early-morning fasting tests on separate days. Its July 2026 statement calls for at least two tests and describes a common clinical threshold near 300 ng/dL, not a diagnosis by itself. Total testosterone means the full amount of testosterone measured in your blood. Coverage depends on your plan and the exact product. Ask whether it is covered, whether prior authorization is needed, and what you would owe. Endocrine Society guideline · July 2026 statement · HealthCare.gov prescription coverage.
Questions to ask your insurer and the clinic
- Is my nearest Men's T Clinic location in my plan's network?
- What do I owe for each weekly injection visit? Is it a copay, a percentage, or does my deductible apply first?
- Are the lab tests covered, and how often?
- Is the testosterone product covered? Does it need prior authorization?
- Do you take Medicare or Tricare? (The clinic doesn't say publicly.)
- What's the cash price for the same care, so I can compare?

Do you have to go to Men's T Clinic every week?
The $395 offer is for weekly injections in the clinic, and Men's T Clinic advises clinic administration. That would mean about 52 visits in a year, but the clinic also describes other schedules and direct therapy for some patients. Confirm the care format you are actually being offered.
Here's the honest tradeoff, straight.
The published $395 plan centers on clinic visits. Its own site favors injections given by the clinic's trained team. If doing it yourself at home is your priority, compare an online program like Male Excel after checking the testing, medication, and cost limits below. The clinic's process page also mentions direct therapy for qualifying patients who move outside its clinic market; it gives no price or service-area details for that route.
For someone who chooses weekly office treatment, the practical tradeoffs are clear:
- A trained person gives every shot on the in-clinic plan. No needles in your kitchen.
- You have an in-person visit every week. Ask who you see, what they check, and how the clinic handles concerns between visits.
- Labs are drawn in the clinic, and the clinic says initial results are ready in about 15 minutes. It says follow-up results are discussed at the next visit.
- You can walk into any location once you're an established patient. That helps if you work in Frisco and live in Grapevine. The clinic says Saturday visits are available on request; confirm your location's hours. Clinic process · TRT FAQ.
There is also a care-continuity question to ask.
A federal deadline could change online TRT next year. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. That means federal law tightly controls how it's prescribed. The current federal extension runs through December 31, 2026. It permits qualifying controlled-substance prescriptions through audio-video telemedicine without a prior in-person evaluation, subject to federal and state law. Licensed prescribers must still meet applicable registration and prescribing rules. Care based on an in-person medical evaluation does not rely on this temporary exception for patients without a prior in-person evaluation. DEA scheduling · HHS extension announcement · Federal rule.
The date does not establish that any named program will stop treating patients. Ask an online provider what visits and costs it would require if the rules change.
Weekly, hands-on care sound like your situation? Find the Men's T Clinic location nearest you. Choose DFW or Houston, then your location, for its address and phone number.
Rather not drive in every week? Read the Male Excel cost breakdown: online care with an at-home hormone test and medicine shipped to you. Its advertised injection-and-thyroid bundle starts at $120 a month, plus a required $99 monthly membership, a $99 start, and shipping. Ask for the price and medical reason for each proposed medicine; a bundle is not a reason to take thyroid medicine. A clinician still decides whether treatment is right for you.
What happens at your first Men's T Clinic visit?
Men's T Clinic describes a first visit of about 30 minutes: a health questionnaire, a body-composition scan, and a blood draw with initial results in about 15 minutes. It says a hormone-treatment plan is typically established after two morning visits, although its detailed steps also mention possible same-day treatment. Ask how your diagnosis will be confirmed before any injection.
Here's the process the clinic describes:
- Book. Call or book online. The clinic says it can often see you the same day, and it takes walk-ins for some services.
- Come in early. For bloodwork, arrive before 11 a.m. (10:30 a.m. on an Aetna plan). Its payment page suggests booking before 10 a.m. These are the clinic's appointment windows. For diagnostic bloodwork, ask for early-morning appointments and fasting instructions.
- Fill out a short health history (about 5 minutes).
- Get an InBody scan, a machine that estimates body fat, muscle, and water.
- Have blood drawn in the clinic. Initial results in about 15 minutes, according to the clinic.
- Review results with your provider and talk through options.
- Confirm the testing plan before treatment. The clinic says the plan is typically set after two morning visits, but also mentions possible same-day treatment. Ask whether existing records or a second visit will provide the required confirmation.
- Weekly visits on the injection plan, with repeat bloodwork on regular visit days. The public process page does not give a fixed monitoring interval. What to Expect.
Should your first shot wait for a second test?
This is worth asking about, calmly and directly.
A diagnosis needs symptoms or signs and consistently low results, confirmed on separate mornings. The Endocrine Society recommends confirming a low result with a repeat morning fasting test, alongside symptoms or signs and evaluation of possible causes. Its July 2026 statement repeats the need for at least two early-morning fasting tests. Endocrine Society guideline · July 2026 statement.
Men's T Clinic's page contains both the two-morning-visit statement and the possible same-day-injection statement. It does not explain how prior outside test results affect that timing.
Ask: "Will my low testosterone be confirmed with a second early-morning test before my first injection?" A good clinic will have a clear answer.
What does the first visit cost?
The clinic doesn't publish it. Ask what you'll owe for the first visit and blood test if you don't start treatment. Also ask whether recent lab results from another doctor can be used.
Want to know which tests matter before TRT? Read blood tests before TRT.
Is Men's T Clinic cheaper than online TRT?
Some online programs have lower advertised cash subtotals than Men's T Clinic's $4,740 annual base, but a complete personal comparison needs the same visits, tests, prescription period, and extra fees. Male Excel and Hone are cash-pay services; an insurance-covered local route can change the answer.
We put each option on the same columns so you don't have to open six tabs.
These are provider-stated prices and terms, with our calculations. No row guarantees treatment, coverage, or a complete 365-day prescription supply. Sources: Male Excel pricing, initial test, FAQ, and terms; Hone's Plus plan, Premium plan, state list, pharmacy policy, cancellation policy, and injection product disclosure.
How we calculated those costs
- Male Excel: $99 consultation + ($99 membership × 12) + six modeled 60-day medicine supplies at $240 each = $2,727, plus shipping. The price is for its advertised testosterone-and-thyroid bundle. Six 60-day supplies cover 360 days, so confirm the refill dates, the amount needed for a full year, and the cost of any additional required testing. The page says medicine is billed every other month and prescription changes can change the price. Full Male Excel cost breakdown.
- Hone Premium: $65 initial test + $25 confirmatory test + ($155 membership × 12) = $1,950 before medicine. If medicine cost $28 for each of twelve payments, the illustrative subtotal would be $2,286; at $112 for each of twelve payments, it would be $3,294. Those are payment examples, not a recommended dose or a verified full-year prescription cost.
- Hone Plus: $45 initial test + ($135 membership × 12) + confirmation = $1,710–$1,715 before medicine with lab confirmation, or $1,745 before medicine with home confirmation. The Plus overview lists lab confirmation at $45; its TRT lab schedule lists $50. Both list $80 for home confirmation. Confirm the charge before buying the test.
Why Hone's medicine price needs another question: Its product page advertises injections from $28 a month, while its current plan pages list them from $28 a vial. Its cost article uses four-week medicine examples. Twelve four-week supplies cover 48 weeks, so ask for the prescribed vial quantity, refill schedule, and cost for the full year. Hone says follow-up labs and consultations are included in membership and shipping is included through its service; your own pharmacy sets its charges.
The advertised online subtotals can be lower. Use them to shortlist options, then compare written quotes for the same full year of care.
Which option fits you?

Is the testosterone at Men's T Clinic FDA-approved or compounded?
The reviewed Men's T Clinic pages do not identify the exact testosterone product or establish whether it is FDA-approved or compounded. It uses the word "bioidentical," which does not establish FDA approval. Ask which product you'll get.
FDA-approved generic testosterone cypionate exists. Compounded versions are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they're sold. Example approved-product label.
Two plain definitions:
- FDA-approved means the FDA reviewed that exact finished product for safety, effectiveness, and quality before it could be sold.
- Compounded means a drug was prepared or altered for a patient's medical needs. The FDA says compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed before they're sold. Compounding can fill real gaps, but it's not the same promise. FDA explains the difference.
Why it matters for your wallet: FDA approval alone does not settle coverage. Your insurer's drug list and the exact product determine coverage and possible prior authorization, so the product can change your bill. Check your plan's prescription coverage.
Men's T Clinic's site mentions testosterone cypionate injections, gels, and creams. Those names do not tell you who made the product. Ask: "What's the exact product, who makes it, and is it FDA-approved or compounded?" Also ask for the dispensing pharmacy or clinic supplier and the product identifier on its label.
What costs extra at Men's T Clinic?
Men's T Clinic offers many services beyond weekly testosterone shots, including gels, creams, pellets, peptides, IV therapy, weight-loss treatment, hair restoration, and ED treatments like shockwave therapy. The pages reviewed do not establish their current prices or that they are included in the $395 plan. Get a written price, and a clear medical reason, before you agree to an add-on.
The clinic calls these "in-tandem therapies" and markets everything "under one roof." Convenient? Sure. But each one is a separate decision with its own price.
A fair warning that isn't about Men's T Clinic in particular: a 2023 study in the journal Urology reviewed 223 direct-to-consumer men's health clinics. It found widespread marketing of shockwave therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) shots for ED, while 45 clinics did not list their providers. That historical study is not an audit of Men's T Clinic. Original study.
The Sexual Medicine Society of North America's position statement says these restorative ED treatments should be limited to clinical trials until stronger evidence supports routine use. Ask a urologist about the evidence before paying for an ED procedure. SMSNA position statement.
That doesn't mean any add-on is wrong for you. It means "why do I need this, and what does it cost?" is a fair question every time.
About hCG: Men's T Clinic says men who don't qualify for TRT may be offered hCG or other options. hCG is not testosterone replacement therapy. It's a different medicine with different uses. For example, the FDA-approved Pregnyl label includes selected cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, where low hormone signals affect testicular function. That does not establish that the clinic's proposed product or use is approved or right for you; ask for both. Pregnyl label · hCG cost for men.
About "membership options" and "direct therapy": The clinic mentions both. It says direct therapy may be available if you move outside its market and qualify. The main payment page gives no membership price or terms, and the process page gives no direct-therapy price or service area. Ask.
Is Men's T Clinic legit?
Men's T Clinic is an active Texas men's health chain that says its first location opened in 2014, with 11 listed clinics in Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston. Its directory lists nurse practitioner and physician assistant clinic directors, along with physician medical directors. Those listings establish a public presence, not a finding that its care is right for you.
What the clinic's own pages showed on October 19, 2026:
- 11 Texas locations. DFW: Addison, The Colony, Frisco, North Frisco, Grapevine, and Alliance in Fort Worth, which opened in 2026. Houston area: Houston Heights, Cypress, Pearland, Pasadena, and Spring. Its June 2026 announcement calls Alliance its 11th Texas location. DFW locations · Houston locations · Alliance announcement.
- History. The homepage says the first location opened in North Texas in 2014. The medical director's bio dates the company's inception to 2013; that is different from its first clinic opening. Clinic history · Team biography.
- Leadership. Dr. Salvatore Campo is listed as Corporate Medical Director. Kelly Cook, PA-C, is Corporate Director of Operations. The directory lists nurse practitioner and physician assistant clinic directors and several physician medical directors. Provider directory.
- Phone line. 1-800-246-LOWT, plus a direct number for each clinic.
Check a license yourself: Physicians and physician assistants can be looked up through the Texas Medical Board. Ask the Texas Board of Nursing to confirm a nurse practitioner's RN and advanced-practice credentials. It's also fair to ask: "Who is the supervising physician for my care?"
What reviewers say (customer experiences, not proof of medical safety or results):
- The Tebra listing displayed a 4.8 rating from 320 reviews on October 19, 2026.
- The introduction to the clinic's testimonial page displayed 378 testimonials averaging 4.85 out of 5, while its footer showed 4.86. Those are clinic-hosted figures, not our rating.
The reviews we read include praise for quick visits, flexible scheduling, and friendly staff. That tells you about the service experience. It doesn't tell you whether TRT is right for you.
What should you check before paying for TRT anywhere?
Before paying for treatment, make sure a clinician has evaluated symptoms or signs and confirmed low testosterone with repeat early-morning tests. Tell the clinician if you want children now or in the future, and ask how your blood count and blood pressure will be checked. Testosterone can lower sperm production, and some health conditions need a specialist first.
These checks apply to adult men being evaluated for low testosterone at Men's T Clinic, online, or elsewhere. This is not a treatment guide for women, adolescents, gender-affirming care, or performance use.
1. Get the diagnosis right. Symptoms alone don't prove low testosterone. Neither does one blood test. The Endocrine Society calls for symptoms or signs and consistently low testosterone, confirmed with repeat early-morning fasting testing. Hypogonadism means reduced function of the testes or the hormone signals that control them; the diagnosis needs the full clinical picture. See how getting TRT works and the Endocrine Society's July 2026 statement.
2. Think about kids first. Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production. That's the body's sperm-making process, called spermatogenesis. Men's T Clinic's own site lists decreased sperm count as a side effect. It also says men having trouble conceiving should not seek testosterone therapy. Discuss your fertility goals before treatment. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone when fertility is planned in the near term. Guideline. Nobody can promise how fertility will go, either way. If you want kids soon, start with a reproductive urologist. Read TRT and fertility.
3. Know what gets monitored. Ask how often they check:
- Hematocrit, the share of your blood made of red blood cells. Testosterone can raise it.
- PSA (prostate-specific antigen), a blood marker used to assess prostate risk when testing fits your age, risk, and care plan.
- Blood pressure. In February 2025, the FDA required new or updated warnings about increased blood pressure. The same notice called for adding results from a large heart-safety study called TRAVERSE and removing older boxed-warning language about increased cardiovascular risk. That does not mean every product is risk-free. FDA notice.
FDA requested further label updates about age-related hypogonadism and prostate safety in June 2026. A requested change is not proof that every product label has changed; screening and monitoring still matter. Current FDA testosterone information.
4. Some situations need a specialist first: a history of prostate or breast cancer, a very high red blood cell count, untreated severe sleep apnea, a recent heart attack or stroke, or a possible pituitary or testicular problem. Start with primary care, urology, or endocrinology. Endocrine Society screening and monitoring guidance.
5. Testosterone requires a prescription. It's a Schedule III controlled substance. There's no legal way around a valid prescription.
Urgent symptoms? Chest pain, trouble breathing, or signs of a stroke mean call 911, not a clinic.
What should you ask Men's T Clinic before you pay?
Call before you book and ask five things: how the $395 is billed, what you'll owe per weekly visit with insurance, what the first visit costs, which testosterone product you'll get, and how to cancel. Write down the answers, the date, and who told you.
The five must-ask questions
- "Is the $395 billed per calendar month or per four visits?"
- "With my insurance, what do I owe for each weekly injection visit?"
- "What does my first visit cost if I don't start treatment?"
- "Is my testosterone an FDA-approved product or compounded? Who makes it?"
- "Is there a contract? How do I cancel, and is anything refundable?"
Five more if you have time
- Will my low testosterone be confirmed with a second early-morning test before my first shot?
- Which lab tests does the $395 cover, and how often? Are the second diagnostic test and extra safety tests included?
- What do gels, creams, and pellets cost?
- What is the care plan and billing policy if I miss a week or travel? Who handles clinical questions between visits?
- How do I get copies of my lab results and records if I switch providers, and is there a fee?

Will TRT at Men's T Clinic affect fertility?
Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production. If you want children soon, see a reproductive urologist before starting.
Is there a contract at Men's T Clinic?
Contract and cancellation terms aren't published. Ask before your first visit.
Is Men's T Clinic worth the cost for you?
Men's T Clinic may be worth considering if you want weekly, in-person injections and can use insurance or budget its $4,740 annual cash base plus any separate fees. The key decision is whether that care format and your written quote fit your needs.
You're paying for weekly, in-person care in Texas, with injections given by the clinic's trained team and related lab work in the published package. For the right man, especially one with good insurance or one who never wants to touch a needle, that's worth it.
If you'd rather receive care at home, live beyond reach of its clinics, or need a lower cash budget, compare the online models above and an insurance-covered local doctor. The complete quote decides the saving.
Either way, make one phone call before you pay. Ask the five questions. Get the answers in writing.

This page is educational information, not medical advice, and not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance and requires a valid prescription. We don't diagnose low testosterone, read lab results, or recommend doses. Prices, policies, and federal telemedicine rules change; provider figures are dated, and our calculations show their assumptions. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, or another emergency, call 911.
