Relive Health TRT Cost: What 28 Clinics Publish in 2026
Relive Health does not publish one nationwide all-in TRT price. Its national men's hormone page currently says memberships start at $99/month; many location pages say $129/month; Houston-Memorial says men's TRT programs start at $149/month; and Brentwood, Tennessee, lists average male HRT at $150–$175/month. None of those figures establishes your complete medication, lab, follow-up, and protocol cost.
That last part matters more than the headline number. We'll show you which number means what, what Relive still does not disclose, and the exact questions that turn a vague "starting at" price into a real total.
Relive may fit you if: you live near one of its clinics, you want face-to-face care and local blood draws, and you're willing to get the full price and commitment in writing before you sign.
Relive probably isn't your best fit if: there's no clinic near you, you need a fully published all-in price before talking to anyone, you need a provider that clearly bills your insurance, or you're planning to have a baby soon. Jump to better-fit options.

What we actually verified
Verification date: October 19, 2026
We rechecked Relive Health's national men's hormone page, membership page, posted membership agreement, store locator, blood-work material, and current location pages. Relive's official locator showed 28 open centers and five additional centers marked coming soon. We also rechecked the primary medical and regulatory sources cited below.
What we can verify is the wording Relive publishes. What we cannot verify from Relive's public pages is one nationwide all-in TRT bill, whether every posted membership figure includes testosterone medication, which exact testosterone product every clinic dispenses, or one network-wide rule for repeat-lab charges.
What is the Relive Health TRT cost at each location?
Relive Health does not publish one network-wide TRT price. Its public pages currently show several different price signals: a $99/month national membership starting price, $129/month memberships on many local pages, a $149/month men's TRT starting price at Houston-Memorial, and a $150–$175/month average male HRT cost at Brentwood.
The key is not to treat those as four quotes for the same package. A membership starting price, a TRT program starting price, and an average treatment cost are different things.

Relive Health 28-clinic price audit
Relive's official locator showed 28 open centers when we checked it. The table below records the location-specific price signal we could confirm from Relive's current public pages during this audit. A blank does not prove the clinic has no price; it means we did not confirm a location-specific price from the public material we could verify.
Source: Relive Health's official store locator and current Relive location pages, checked October 19, 2026. The locator also listed Ft. Myers and St. Petersburg, Florida; Doraville, Georgia; Livonia, Michigan; and Malvern, Pennsylvania as coming soon.
Three things jump out:
- $99 is still live, but it is a membership starting price. Relive's national men's hormone page currently shows it.
- $129 is also live on many local pages. That does not make $129 the universal TRT price.
- Houston and Brentwood give stronger treatment-specific signals. Houston says men's TRT programs start at $149 a month; Brentwood gives a $150–$175 average male HRT cost. Neither page proves every required cost is included.

Why does Relive Health have different prices?
Relive Health is a franchise network, and its public pages are not perfectly standardized. Different local pages show different membership or treatment figures, while the national men's hormone page shows a lower $99 membership starting price.
Relive says the company began in 2017 and now operates through locally run centers under the Relive brand. TRT is one service on a broader menu that also includes weight-management, wellness, aesthetic, and other services.
That creates a simple rule for this page: use the price attached to your clinic and your actual treatment proposal, not a number copied from another Relive location.
The pages also use different language for blood testing. Some older/current location pages describe a 52-marker panel plus body-composition testing, while other current Relive material describes a 66-biomarker panel. That is another reason to ask what your clinic actually orders and what it costs.
One more mix-up to clear: Relive Health is not Revive Low T Clinic. They are different companies with different pricing.
Does the Relive membership price include TRT?
Not necessarily, and Relive's public pages do not support treating every membership number as an all-in TRT price. Relive's $149/month Core membership is a general wellness membership, while hormone therapy is handled through a separate medical program called Relive Journey, which carries a six-month protocol commitment.
This is where most people get tripped up.
Core membership: $149 a month, but not the TRT program
Relive's Core page says the membership includes one monthly service from a listed set, a yearly credit, retail discounts, priority booking, and other member benefits. The page does not say Core's $149 fee includes testosterone medication, TRT prescribing, or the complete monitoring needed for testosterone treatment.
Don't mistake Core's $149 for a TRT price.
Relive Journey: the program that includes hormone therapy
Relive describes Journey as a guided medical program that can cover hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, and peptides. Its current public material states:
- Six-month protocol commitment
- 50% off the first protocol month, one time per protocol type
- An annual program review
- An annual InBody body-composition scan and Visia skin scan
- Core can be added separately
What the page does not publish is one nationwide regular monthly HRT protocol price.
Here's the problem in one sentence:
Relive doesn't publish one complete TRT price. Its public pages show membership and location-level treatment numbers, but they do not establish one network-wide total that includes testosterone medication, baseline and follow-up labs, every visit, and any add-on medicine. If you want an all-in number before speaking to a clinic, that lack of transparency is a real drawback.
But there's an upside. Relive runs physical clinics, and many location pages describe local blood draws and face-to-face care. Some newer pages also advertise a complimentary consultation. That gives you a chance to ask for an itemized quote before you agree to treatment.
What does Relive's price include, and what's left out?
Relive's pages describe consultations, blood testing, personalized plans, and ongoing monitoring, but they do not publish one network-wide price for each piece. Testosterone medication, repeat labs, add-on medicines, and the exact agreement tied to a Journey HRT protocol are the biggest blanks.
Here's what we could and could not establish from the current public material:
The add-on medicines in Relive's protocol
Some Relive pages discuss medicines in addition to testosterone. hCG, enclomiphene, gonadorelin, and anastrozole are not testosterone and should not be treated as interchangeable with TRT. Their approval status and medical role are different, and whether one belongs in a patient's plan is a clinician's decision.
Ask what each prescribed drug is for, whether the use is FDA-approved or off-label, who dispenses it, and whether it is included in the price you were quoted.
What "bioidentical" does and doesn't tell you
Relive uses the word "bio-identical" in its hormone marketing. That term does not tell you whether the finished prescription you would receive is an FDA-approved manufacturer's drug or a compounded preparation.
That distinction matters. The FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the agency before marketing for safety, effectiveness, or quality. That does not mean every compounded prescription is automatically inappropriate. It means you should not blur compounded testosterone with an FDA-approved testosterone product.
Ask for the exact prescription and pharmacy before you pay.
Source: FDA — Compounding and the FDA: Questions and Answers.
What will Relive Health TRT cost in the first year?
Relive's complete first-year TRT cost cannot be calculated from its public website because the network does not publish one all-in price covering every required lab, visit, medication, and protocol charge. You can calculate what each public monthly signal would equal over 12 months, but those figures are not interchangeable with a verified year-one TRT bill.
How the Journey discount changes the math
Journey's 50% first-protocol-month offer can reduce the first six months, but only after you know the normal protocol price and confirm the offer applies to your HRT protocol.
For example, if a clinic quoted a Journey HRT protocol at $149/month and the 50% first-month offer applied, the simple six-month recurring-price arithmetic would be:
$74.50 + (5 × $149) = $819.50
That is an example, not a Relive quote. It also does not prove that labs, medication, visits, or other required costs are included.
Build your own Relive first-year total
Use the number your clinic gives you, not the website's lowest membership number.
12-month known-cost model:
Upfront required fees + 12 months of recurring protocol/membership charges + medication charged separately + required baseline/repeat labs + required visits + shipping/supplies + other mandatory fees − verified discounts
Write down:
If a required field is still blank, you do not have a complete quote yet.
The 9 questions to ask Relive before you pay
Because Relive does not publish one complete network-wide TRT price, ask nine specific questions and keep the answers in writing. They cover medication, labs, add-ons, commitment, cancellation, and the exact product you would receive.
- What's my exact recurring price, and does it include the testosterone itself?
- What does my first blood panel cost, and is it included?
- How often will I need follow-up labs and visits, and what does each cost?
- Are any additional medicines being proposed, and are they billed on top?
- Is this price part of the Relive Journey six-month commitment? What would I owe if treatment is stopped or I end the agreement early?
- How do I cancel, how much notice is required, and what payments are refundable?
- What exact testosterone product would be dispensed, is it an FDA-approved manufacturer's product or a compounded preparation, and which pharmacy fills it?
- Will the clinician confirm testosterone deficiency with appropriate repeat early-morning testing before treatment?
- Can you provide an itemized receipt or superbill, and can I use HSA/FSA funds or seek insurance reimbursement for any part of care?
If they can't answer #1, #5, and #7 clearly, you still don't know the real deal you're agreeing to.
Got your list? Use Relive's official locator to contact your clinic and ask all nine before you sign anything.

Does Relive Health take insurance for TRT?
Relive's current local pages commonly say that insurance is not required, but that is not the same as saying Relive bills your health plan for TRT. We did not find a clear network-wide public statement establishing that Relive submits TRT claims to insurance.
If insurance coverage is important, ask both Relive and your health plan before you enroll. Coverage can depend on the diagnosis, plan rules, clinician/network status, prior authorization, the exact testosterone product, and the dispensing pharmacy.
A local primary-care, urology, or endocrinology route may be easier to coordinate with insurance when the clinician and pharmacy are in network, but coverage is plan-specific. Do not assume that any FDA-approved testosterone product will automatically be covered.
Relive also links to patient-financing options in parts of its site. Financing can spread payments out; it does not make treatment cheaper. Read the financing terms separately from the medical-program terms.
Relive's public HRT material also does not establish one network-wide rule for superbills, HSA/FSA documentation, or out-of-network reimbursement. That's why question #9 belongs on the list.
The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.

How does getting TRT at Relive Health work?
Relive's public material describes a clinic-centered process: consultation, blood testing, review of results, a proposed treatment plan when appropriate, and follow-up monitoring. The exact workflow is location-dependent, and Relive should not be described as uniformly in-person or uniformly telehealth.
Here's the process its pages describe:
- Consultation. Many current location pages advertise a complimentary consultation or symptom review. Some Relive pages say online consultations are not offered, while at least one current location advertises telehealth for hormone care. Confirm your clinic's process.
- Blood testing. Relive describes in-clinic blood draws. Its public pages are not perfectly consistent on panel size: some describe 52 markers plus body-composition testing, while other current material describes 66 biomarkers.
- Plan review. Relive describes reviewing results and a proposed pathway or protocol with a provider. Prescriber credentials shown on individual clinic pages are provider-stated and should be confirmed for the clinician assigned to you.
- Ongoing monitoring. Relive says follow-up visits and blood work are part of care, but the schedule and cost are not standardized clearly enough across its public pages to quote one network-wide cadence.
Treatment formats also vary by location. Relive material across the network discusses testosterone injections, topical products, and pellets, while individual clinic pages may favor or offer a narrower set. Ask what your clinic actually offers and how each option changes the price.
The practical bottom line: Relive is a clinic-based network with location-specific workflows. If regular local visits would be hard for you, confirm the exact telehealth and in-person requirements before you choose it.
Do you need confirmed low testosterone before you pay for TRT?
Yes. Current Endocrine Society guidance does not diagnose testosterone deficiency from symptoms, a quiz, or one isolated number. Diagnosis requires compatible symptoms or signs plus consistently low testosterone measured accurately, with repeat early-morning testing.
The Endocrine Society's 2026 statement and current clinical guideline say:
- Symptoms alone aren't enough. Fatigue, lower sex drive, mood changes, and similar symptoms can have many causes.
- Confirm the result. The Society recommends at least two early-morning fasting testosterone measurements rather than treating one result as the diagnosis.
- Test quality matters. Accurate assays and standardized laboratory methods matter because measurements can vary.
- Look for reversible causes. Conditions such as obesity and some medicines can contribute to low testosterone; the underlying cause belongs in the evaluation.
A number around 300 ng/dL is commonly used in clinical practice and guidelines, but no single cutoff diagnoses every person by itself.
Sources: Endocrine Society — Testosterone Therapy in Men With Hypogonadism and Endocrine Society 2026 statement on testosterone replacement therapy.
So ask Relive question #8. A clinic should be able to explain how it confirms the diagnosis before prescribing.
See primary care, urology, endocrinology, or another appropriate specialist first if your situation is more complex, including infertility, suspected pituitary or testicular disease, very abnormal results, a history of prostate or breast cancer, elevated hematocrit, untreated severe sleep apnea, or a recent major cardiovascular event.
What are the risks of TRT?
TRT has real risks and requires medical monitoring. The 2026 Endocrine Society statement on the TRAVERSE trial says testosterone therapy did not produce a meaningful increase in heart attack or stroke during the trial's follow-up, but pulmonary embolism occurred more often and fractures were also more frequent; longer-term safety questions, including prostate outcomes, remain.
The Society highlighted:
- No meaningful increase in heart attack or stroke over the trial period
- Roughly a 50% relative increase in pulmonary embolism
- More bone fractures
- Long-term safety, including prostate-cancer outcomes, is not fully established
Testosterone therapy can also increase hematocrit, affect sperm production, and cause other adverse effects that need clinical follow-up. The exact risks depend on the patient, product, dose, and medical history.
Source: Endocrine Society 2026 statement on testosterone replacement therapy.
Testosterone is also a Schedule III controlled substance under federal law and requires a valid prescription. The DEA lists testosterone among Schedule III substances.
Source: DEA — Drug Scheduling.
Do not start, stop, or change testosterone on your own. Treatment changes belong with the prescribing clinician.
What if you want to have kids?
Exogenous testosterone can suppress sperm production, and the Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone therapy in men planning fertility in the near term. No clinic or add-on medicine can promise that you will stay fertile or recover fertility on a set timeline.
Some Relive pages discuss hCG, gonadorelin, or enclomiphene in hormone-care contexts. Those are not testosterone replacement therapy, and their regulatory status and clinical use differ. They should not be marketed as interchangeable with TRT or as a guaranteed fertility-preservation strategy.
If biological children matter now or soon, start with a urologist or reproductive urologist before beginning exogenous testosterone.
See our guide to TRT and fertility.
How do you cancel Relive Health?
Relive's posted general membership agreement says cancellation requests must be completed in person at the health center at least 30 days before the next scheduled automatic payment. Relive Journey separately advertises a six-month protocol commitment, so you should ask for the exact agreement that controls your HRT program before signing.
Key terms from the general membership agreement we checked October 19, 2026:
- Cancel in person. The posted agreement says cancellation requests must be completed at the health center.
- Give 30 days' notice. The request must be made at least 30 days before the next automatic payment.
- Freezes are limited. The agreement describes one-month freezes, up to twice per 365 days, with advance written notice; later freezes may carry a fee.
- Refund provisions are narrow. The agreement describes specific situations such as death or disability rather than a general change-of-mind refund.
- Florida law governs the posted agreement.
Source: Relive Health membership terms and conditions.
That posted agreement is a general membership contract. It does not fully explain how every Journey medical-protocol obligation works. Read the document your clinic actually asks you to sign.
Never stop prescribed testosterone on your own. If you want to discontinue treatment, make that plan with your clinician. See Can You Stop TRT?.
Relive Health vs online TRT: which costs less in year one?
Relive can look cheaper if you compare its lowest membership signal with an online provider's fuller treatment price, but that is not an apples-to-apples comparison. Relive's biggest pricing gap is that its public membership figures do not establish the complete HRT bill; online providers may publish more components up front, but their prices and inclusions also need to be checked carefully.
Affiliate disclosure: TRT Provider Guide has commercial relationships with Male Excel, Taurus Meds, and Hone Health. We may earn a commission if you use an eligible provider link. Relive Health does not pay us. Commercial relationships do not change the facts we publish, the limitations we disclose, or who we tell to choose a different care route. See How We Review TRT Providers.
What the table tells you
- Relive's public numbers are not complete enough to call it the cheapest. The $99 and $129 figures are membership starting prices, not verified all-in TRT totals.
- Male Excel publishes a clearer recurring membership-plus-medication structure, but its first-year advertised-price model is higher than Relive's visible membership signals and shipping remains extra.
- Taurus Meds publishes a low advertised treatment model, but its public pricing and terms conflict on a recurring $17.99 fee. Resolve that before paying.
- Hone publishes a structured testing and membership pathway, but medication is extra. Its official pages also showed a small inconsistency in confirmatory-lab pricing when checked.
- Online prescribing rules are time-sensitive. Federal telemedicine flexibilities for controlled substances currently run through December 31, 2026, subject to federal requirements, clinician licensing, and state law.
Source for federal telemedicine status: HHS Telehealth — Prescribing controlled substances via telehealth.
Is Relive Health right for you?
Relive fits men who live near a clinic, want local face-to-face care, and are willing to get the complete price in writing first. If there is no clinic nearby, you want a more standardized online price, insurance coordination is central, or near-term fertility is a priority, another care route may fit better.
Male Excel: online care with published membership and medication pricing
Male Excel currently advertises a $99 initial consultation that includes an at-home hormone test, then a $99 monthly membership with provider access. Its injectable testosterone pricing page lists $120/month, billed in 60-day supplies, plus shipping.
Using only those published numbers, the simple first-year advertised-price model is:
$99 + ($99 × 12) + ($120 × 12) = $2,727, plus shipping.
Know before you start:
- That arithmetic is a published-price model, not a guaranteed personal bill.
- Male Excel's current FAQ excludes Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
- Its starting at-home test should not be treated as a substitute for whatever repeat early-morning testing the prescribing clinician needs to confirm a diagnosis.
- Confirm the exact testosterone product, FDA status, dispensing pharmacy, repeat-lab charges, shipping, and any in-person requirement before paying.
If online provider access matters more to you than Relive's clinic model, compare the current Male Excel offer and your state availability.
See Male Excel's current pricing →
Taurus Meds: low advertised price with a terms conflict to resolve
Taurus Meds currently advertises a $49 blood test and clinician review, followed, if treatment is prescribed, by a $149/month offer it calls all-inclusive. Its public terms, however, also describe a $17.99 recurring membership fee unless otherwise stated at purchase.
That conflict matters. The simple $49 + 12×$149 model equals $1,837, but you should not call that the guaranteed first-year total until Taurus confirms whether the $17.99 term applies to the offer you are buying.
Know before you start:
- The $149 is an advertised offer, not proof that every patient receives the same plan.
- Taurus's terms name several partner pharmacies, but that does not tell you which pharmacy or exact testosterone product would fill your prescription.
- Its cancellation/refund terms should be read before payment; prescription products and testing can have different refund treatment.
- Taurus advertises nationwide online service, but state-specific medical eligibility still depends on the licensed clinician and applicable law.
If Taurus's posted price is what caught your eye, resolve the $17.99 terms conflict and the exact product/pharmacy before you pay.
See Taurus Meds' current pricing →
Hone Health: a more explicit testing pathway, with medication extra
Hone Health's Plus plan currently lists a $135 monthly membership. Its official material also lists an initial home kit and a confirmatory-test pathway when required, with the confirmatory lab-draw price shown as $45 on one current page and $50 on another, while the at-home confirmatory option is listed at $80.
That small internal price conflict is exactly why every volatile number on this page carries a verification date.
Know before you start:
- Medication is extra; testosterone cypionate is advertised from $28 per vial.
- Hone Plus is not offered in every state.
- The exact dispensed testosterone product, pharmacy, and FDA status should be confirmed for the prescription offered to you.
- Monthly membership charges and medication/refill costs need to be combined before comparing Hone with Relive.
If you want a provider that publishes more detail about its testing pathway, review Hone's current eligibility, lab, and medication pricing first.
Review Hone Health's current plans →
Which online options serve Relive's open states?
This is a routing aid, not a guarantee of medical eligibility. Male Excel's column reflects its current published exclusion list. Hone's column reflects the current states listed for Men's Plus. Taurus says it serves patients nationwide; that is provider-stated and should be confirmed during intake.
Relive's locator displays “12 States” because Georgia is represented by a location marked coming soon; the 28 open centers were in 11 states when checked.
How we checked Relive Health's prices
On October 19, 2026, we rechecked Relive Health's current national men's hormone page, membership page, posted membership agreement, store locator, blood-work material, and current location pages. We also checked current official pricing, FAQ, terms, and state-availability material for the online alternatives discussed above.
Our method, How We Review TRT Providers, keeps four things separate:
- Verified facts: facts supported by authoritative records or current official documents.
- Provider-stated facts: what a provider says about its own price, program, testing, availability, or policies.
- Customer-experience signals: attributable reports about support, billing, shipping, or communication. We did not use customer reviews to prove medical outcomes or policy on this page.
- Editorial conclusions: our judgment about who a care model may fit, based on the verified and provider-stated facts above.

- Relive's blood-panel marker counts
- Relive location-level pricing and treatment descriptions
- Provider-published state availability and service inclusions

Relive Health TRT cost: FAQ
How much is Relive Health TRT per month?
There is no single verified nationwide all-in price. Relive's national men's hormone page says memberships start at $99/month, many local pages show $129/month memberships, Houston-Memorial says men's TRT programs start at $149/month, and Brentwood lists average male HRT at $150–$175/month.
Does Relive Health TRT cost $99 a month?
Do not read the $99 number as a complete TRT quote. The $99/month figure is currently live on Relive's national men's hormone page, but the page describes it as a membership starting price. It does not establish that testosterone medication, all labs, all follow-ups, and every required charge are included.
How much is a Relive Health membership?
Relive's Core membership is $149/month, but Core is a general wellness membership rather than the complete HRT protocol. Hormone therapy is also addressed through Relive Journey, whose public page advertises a six-month protocol commitment but does not publish one nationwide regular HRT protocol price.
Is the consultation free?
Many current Relive location pages describe a complimentary or free consultation, but the public material is not standardized enough to promise that every medical evaluation at every clinic is free. Confirm your location's fee before booking.
Does the price include testosterone?
Relive's public pages do not establish that every $99, $129, $149, or $150–$175 figure includes the testosterone medication. Ask for an itemized quote.
How much is Relive Health blood work?
Relive does not publish one network-wide price for baseline and repeat blood work. Its public pages describe blood testing, but panel descriptions and local workflow vary.
Does Relive require a contract?
Relive Journey advertises a six-month protocol commitment. Relive also publishes a separate general membership agreement with month-to-month provisions. Ask which agreement controls the HRT protocol you are actually buying.
How do I cancel Relive Health?
Relive's posted general membership agreement says cancellation requests must be completed in person at the health center at least 30 days before the next automatic payment. Journey's six-month medical-protocol commitment is a separate issue, so read the agreement your clinic gives you.
Does Relive Health take insurance?
Relive location pages commonly say insurance is not required, but we did not find a clear network-wide statement saying Relive bills insurance for TRT. Ask the clinic and your insurer before assuming coverage.
Can I do Relive TRT online?
Do not assume either yes or no network-wide. Several Relive location pages say they do not offer online consultations, while at least one current location advertises telehealth for hormone care. Confirm the exact in-person and telehealth requirements at your clinic.
What testosterone does Relive use?
Relive often uses the term "bio-identical testosterone," but that does not identify the exact drug, manufacturer or compounder, FDA status, or dispensing pharmacy. Ask for those details before treatment.
Does Relive offer pellets?
Relive material across the network discusses pellets as one hormone-treatment format, along with injections and topical options. Availability can vary by clinic, so ask your location what it actually offers.
Is Relive cheaper than online TRT?
You cannot answer that reliably from the $99 or $129 membership numbers alone. Relive's complete first-year TRT total is not publicly established, while the online providers above disclose more of their price components. Compare the same components before calling one cheaper.
Where are Relive Health clinics?
Relive's official locator showed 28 open centers in 11 states when checked October 19, 2026: Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. Five more centers were marked coming soon, including a Georgia location, which is why the locator displayed a 12-state network.
Is Relive Health the same as Revive Low T Clinic?
No. Relive Health and Revive Low T Clinic are different businesses.
The bottom line
Relive Health does not have one public nationwide TRT price. The live numbers range from a $99/month national membership starting price and $129/month local memberships to Houston TRT starting at $149/month and a $150–$175/month average male HRT cost in Brentwood.
The number that matters is your complete written quote: medication, labs, visits, any separate membership, any add-on medicines, the Journey commitment if it applies, and the exact cancellation terms. Get those answers before you sign, and you can make a real apples-to-apples cost comparison.
