They link to six distinct sources about testosterone, including a news summary rather than an original study. Not one links to an enclomiphene study. Taurus even labels one of them plainly: the "5.7% increase in lean muscle mass" figure is described on its own page as being **"for men receiving intramuscular testosterone injections."**¹

That matters more than it sounds, and we'll show you exactly why — including what the European drug regulator said when it looked at enclomiphene and asked whether higher testosterone meant better symptoms.⁴

What is the Taurus Meds enclomiphene offer?

Taurus Meds is a men's telehealth platform operated by Taurus Medical, Inc., according to its terms. Its oral enclomiphene offer is advertised at $149 a month, with a 30-day supply, a routine blood test, clinician support and 24/7 clinician access. Enclomiphene is not testosterone; it can signal the body to raise its own testosterone production.^{1, 10, 5}

Let's define the one term everything else depends on.

Enclomiphene is a SERM — a selective estrogen receptor modulator. That means it changes how estrogen signals work in different parts of the body. In men, it blocks estrogen feedback at the brain, which can raise two pituitary hormones: LH (luteinizing hormone), which tells the testicles to make testosterone, and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), which supports sperm production.^{5, 30}

So testosterone therapy adds the hormone from outside. Enclomiphene turns up your body's own signal instead. That difference is one reason men look at it.^{5, 30}

What Taurus publishes about the offer

Taurus's test page separately estimates 1–2 weeks from testing to medication delivery, on average. That is a provider estimate, not a guaranteed appointment, prescription or shipping date.²

Our editorial conclusion, and we want to be fair here: several of those are useful features of the published offer. Bundling a routine blood test into the medication price makes the offer easier to compare. Offering a free at-home kit to men who live far from a lab is a practical accommodation. A 15-minute video consultation is a specific commitment readers can ask Taurus to honor. None of those public statements verifies how an individual patient's care will go.^{1, 2}

Why isn't the right care route the same for every man?

No product page can tell you whether you need enclomiphene, testosterone, or something else entirely. That's a clinical decision that comes before a subscription — and for some men, before any telehealth platform at all.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. It's a different drug, with a different mechanism and a different legal status. Only a clinician who has assessed your symptoms, history and appropriate labs can decide whether it fits you.^{5, 15}

Do the claims on Taurus's enclomiphene page apply to enclomiphene?

Taurus's enclomiphene product page carries eight benefit blocks covering fatigue, erections, libido, aging, focus, strength, mood and lean mass. Their links concern testosterone, not enclomiphene; two sources are reused, and one link is to a news summary. Taurus labels the lean-mass figure as applying to men receiving intramuscular testosterone injections.¹

This is the most important section on this page, so we're going to show our work.

🔵 The eight claims, and what each one is actually about

Zero enclomiphene studies. Eight out of eight are about testosterone.

That count refers to the eight benefit blocks above, not eight separate studies. We checked the cited titles, links and available full texts; not every linked paper's full text was accessible.

To be scrupulously fair: enclomiphene raises testosterone, so it isn't crazy to think testosterone benefits might follow. That's the logic. It just isn't proof, and there's a specific reason that gap matters.³⁰

🔵 The regulator that looked at exactly this question

Enclomiphene did have a shot at approval. It was submitted in Europe as EnCyzix. On January 25, 2018, the European Medicines Agency's scientific committee recommended refusing its marketing application.⁴

The committee's stated reason lands directly on top of the claims above. In plain language, EMA's explanation was:

The studies showed testosterone levels went up with EnCyzix, but they did not look at whether it would improve symptoms such as bone strength, weight gain, impotence and libido. The committee also flagged a risk of venous thromboembolism — blood clots in the veins. It concluded the benefits did not outweigh the risks.⁴

Read that next to the table above. **The European committee recommended refusal partly because the submitted studies had not assessed symptom benefits — and the page selling it to you leads with libido, energy and mood claims sourced from testosterone research.**^{4, 1}

In the U.S., FDA's 2022 assessment records the sponsor's December 2015 announcement of a Complete Response Letter rather than an approval. There is no FDA-approved enclomiphene product as of this check.^{5, 8}

🔵 What the actual enclomiphene evidence shows

There is real research. A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis in Archives of Endocrinology and Metabolism pooled 10 randomized trials covering 819 men on clomiphene or enclomiphene. We read it, and we broke it down in detail on our enclomiphene provider comparison. The pooled findings:⁹

• Total testosterone was about 274 ng/dL higher than with placebo, on average across the pooled studies. That is a between-group result, not a forecast for an individual patient.
• Against testosterone gel, there was no statistically significant difference in total testosterone.
• On body mass index and blood-sugar measures, there was no statistically significant difference versus placebo.
• On symptoms, results were mixed. One trial found no sexual-function improvement versus placebo; another found better sexual-desire scores.
• Included trials ran 2 to 30 weeks. The authors describe the evidence as underpowered on safety.⁹

These results pool clomiphene and enclomiphene; they do not establish each symptom result for enclomiphene alone or for Taurus's dispensed preparation. In two primary enclomiphene trials, selected overweight men aged 18–60 with secondary hypogonadism had higher testosterone and maintained sperm concentrations over 16 weeks. Those trials did not test Taurus's service.^{9, 30}

There is also a more favorable specialist view. A 2026 British Society for Sexual Medicine position statement describes potential for selected patients, while advising use in specialist or research settings because important evidence limits remain. It is not FDA approval or proof of Taurus's outcomes.⁸

Our editorial conclusion: the hormone effect is well supported. The symptom promises on Taurus's page — energy like a machine, laser focus, killer mood, serious lean mass — are not established for this drug. They're borrowed.^{1, 4, 9}

What you do with that: don't buy the page. Buy the medicine, if a clinician decides it's appropriate, with realistic expectations. And ask the clinician directly what symptom change is reasonable to expect and how you'll measure it.

What does Taurus Meds enclomiphene actually cost?

Using Taurus's published numbers, the $49 starting offer plus twelve $149 treatment payments totals $1,837 before any additional applicable charges. That is a 12-payment subtotal, not a confirmed complete first-year quote. Taurus's general Terms of Service also describe a recurring $17.99 per-billing-period membership fee, and the enclomiphene page does not resolve whether it applies here.^{1, 2, 10}

Two honest cautions on that last row. Taurus's terms say "per billing period," which is not automatically per month, and the same clause says "unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase." So the fee may be included, waived, or billed on a different cycle. We could not resolve its application to this exact offer from public pages. **We are not saying Taurus charges a hidden fee. We're saying the clause exists and needs a clear written answer for your order.**¹⁰

There is a relevant counterpoint: a separate Taurus $49 campaign explicitly says no membership fees. That page also reuses injection wording under enclomiphene, so it is not a reliable guide to the exact formulation. Treat its no-fee statement as an offer to confirm, not a reason to ignore the terms. Taurus's homepage separately promotes a free test; confirm which offer you are accepting before paying.^{36, 3}

Ask this, in writing, before you pay:

"Does the $17.99 recurring membership fee in Section 28 of your Terms apply to the enclomiphene plan? If so, how often is it billed?"

These models assume the advertised price stays unchanged for all 12 payments. Twelve 30-day supplies cover 360 days, not 365; a calendar-year bill depends on the actual charge and refill dates. Ask for any minimum commitment, renewal price, repeat-test charges, extra consultations, shipping and tax that apply. Unknown charges are not zero. 🧮 How $149 compares once you add up the real bills

Here's the thing a sticker price hides. Several competitors advertise a lower medication price but require a separate monthly membership on top. We rechecked the official offers below on September 10, 2026; our enclomiphene provider comparison covers the wider decision. These are published-price models, not equivalent medicines or complete quotes.

For Nuform, adding one $95–$195 panel gives $1,417–$1,517, but that does not establish the cost of every required test over a year. Maximus publishes separate laboratory charges, including a $99 home kit or Quest testing priced by panel; its monitoring schedule means a single test price is not the full lab budget. Get each provider's required testing plan before comparing totals.^{33, 35}

Our editorial conclusion: Taurus's $149 is not the cheapest sticker in the category, but its advertised medication-and-routine-test bundle has a lower base subtotal than the Hone and Male Excel scenarios above. That's the strongest price argument for this offer — if Taurus confirms the bundle and any separate fee in writing. These figures do not prove a lower complete bill, and Male Excel's blend is not a like-for-like substitute. It is not the cheapest program available, and a lower bill is not better care.

One more thing to check before you treat that as settled: the product page shows $149 against a struck-through $299 and the words "Limited inventory at this price." We have no way to verify that $299 was ever a bona fide price actually charged, or that inventory is genuinely limited. **Treat the discount framing as marketing, and the $149 as the price.**¹

When does Taurus charge you — and can you get your money back?

Taurus publishes different accounts of when payment happens and what's refundable across its product page, test page, refund policy and terms. They do not establish one clear payment-and-refund sequence for this enclomiphene offer. Some descriptions put payment before the clinician call, so get the sequence and applicable policy confirmed before you submit payment details.^{1, 2, 11, 10}

This is the part we'd want a friend to read before paying.

🔵 The four accounts, side by side

The refund policy itself uses both a full-refund description for medical disqualification and a later description of remaining subscription charges. Do not assume that resolves reimbursement for every payment.¹¹

Three distinctions matter, and each one can affect the bill:

1. A money-back badge is not an unrestricted refund promise. The product page and blood test page display money-back language, while the refund policy restricts cancellation refunds and the terms exclude blood work and shipped medication. The separate $49 campaign offers a 90-day refund promise minus lab and pharmacy fees. Confirm the applicable guarantee, its exclusions and whether it applies to enclomiphene; the badge alone does not answer that.^{1, 2, 11, 10, 36}

2. “There are no hidden fees” does not settle the $17.99 clause. The product page, the no-membership-fee campaign and the general terms are all Taurus documents. A separate fee is not proven to apply, but the written offer should say whether it does.^{1, 36, 10}

3. “Cancel anytime” does not mean cancellation takes effect immediately. The product page says you are not locked into a plan. The refund policy requires 72 hours' notice before billing; missing that deadline can mean another cycle is charged, with cancellation effective on the following billing date. A notice deadline can coexist with a cancel-anytime policy. What matters is knowing your last charge and end date.^{1, 11}

To cancel, Taurus's policy says to contact customer service or use the account process, where available. Its terms list support@taurusmeds.com. Request written confirmation of the cancellation, its effective date, the last charge and whether any separate membership also ends. These are published instructions, not a cancellation process we tested.^{11, 10}

💬 What customers report about this

Public Trustpilot reviews provide service questions worth asking, not verified enclomiphene outcomes. Cory Boyles wrote in August 2026 that "they call you more than once" when describing follow-up. In a September 2026 review, Justin wrote "I continued to be charged" after saying he had canceled. K Cole wrote in July 2026 that "I would have liked to have received printed information" with the shipment.⁶

These are identifiable customer reports. They cannot establish Taurus's policy, prove a typical experience, or say anything about the medication. They're useful for one thing: showing you which written answers are worth getting first.

Taurus's published refund exception refers to medical disqualification, but that does not tell you what happens if care cannot proceed because of state access or appointment availability. Its product page advertises nationwide service; we did not verify an available prescriber for every state. Get the non-medical cancellation and refund answer before paying.^{11, 1}

Confirm Taurus can treat in your state, in writing, before you complete the intake form.

🔵 Your right to post an honest review

Taurus's Terms include a line in its prohibited-activities list asking users not to "disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm" the company or the service.¹⁰

Under the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act, standard consumer-contract terms that bar or penalize honest reviews are prohibited. FTC guidance also explains exceptions, including certain private, unlawful or clearly false content. That is the general rule; this page does not decide how a court would apply it to a particular dispute.¹²

The two things we'd fix about this offer

Taurus's eight benefit blocks do not link to a single enclomiphene study, and the money-back badge does not explain the restrictions in its refund documents. That's not a small thing, and we're not going to dress it up.^{1, 10, 11}

If what you need is a public statement of the exact single active ingredient before you pay, Nuform states that its Formula T contains enclomiphene as the sole active ingredient. That is a provider statement, not independent testing of the medicine. Compare its disclosed formulation on our enclomiphene provider comparison.¹³

But here's why the trade-off may still make sense. The published bundle and named partners are useful disclosures, not proof of the care you will receive. Taurus names OpenLoop and four pharmacy partners in its terms. Its clinical article is more careful than its sales page about diagnosis: it describes symptoms plus two separate early-morning testosterone measurements and rejects TRT for healthy aging or performance enhancement. Those statements are useful; they do not verify how Taurus handles an individual case.^{10, 14}

Our editorial conclusion: the bundle is worth checking; the marketing is not a reason to skip the checks. The sensible next step is a written prescription-and-price explanation, not assuming that a public partner list settles care quality. Get the questions below answered and don't let the sales page set your expectations.

Will enclomiphene even work for you?

Enclomiphene works by turning up the signal from your brain to your testicles, which requires the testicles to be able to respond. Whether that approach fits depends on the cause of low testosterone, not just a low result. You cannot tell which situation you're in from a single total testosterone number.^{5, 15}

Here's the fork. These are patterns a clinician investigates — not a way to diagnose yourself.

The 2025 meta-analysis excluded studies that included men with primary hypogonadism. So those results say nothing about that group.⁹

🔵 One blood test is not a diagnosis

The Endocrine Society's guidance is that diagnosing testosterone deficiency requires symptoms or signs plus consistently low testosterone, confirmed with repeat morning fasting measurements using an accurate assay. Not one number. Not one afternoon. Not a symptom quiz.¹⁵

The Endocrine Society reaffirmed the need for at least two early-morning fasting tests in its July 2026 statement. A cutoff such as 300 ng/dL is not a diagnosis by itself. For the practical testing questions, see TRT blood tests.⁴¹

Taurus's own clinical article also describes repeat early-morning testing. Its blood test page includes a five-question symptom quiz, but a symptom quiz cannot diagnose low testosterone or establish whether a prescription is appropriate. We did not verify an individual quiz result or complete its clinical intake.^{14, 2, 15}

We could not confirm whether Taurus's 8-biomarker panel includes LH and FSH, or whether a second early-morning test is required and included before prescribing enclomiphene. The product page mentions a repeat test after 30 days in a general TRT FAQ; that is not the same as confirming a diagnosis before treatment. Both are on the question list below.^{1, 2}

🔵 The anastrozole question to ask

On its enclomiphene page, Taurus lists "Includes anastrozole to counter estrogen hormones" as an advantage over traditional TRT.¹

Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor — a drug that lowers estrogen. It's FDA-approved for certain breast cancers in postmenopausal women; use in men is off-label. In the 2025 pooled trials, estradiol was about 34 pg/mL higher with SERM treatment than with placebo, on average. That finding does not, by itself, establish a need for an estrogen-lowering drug.^{37, 9}

But the product page doesn't say whether anastrozole is in every enclomiphene prescription, offered as an option, or prescribed only after an individual clinical assessment. Those are three very different things, and a second prescription drug should be a decision your clinician justifies for you — not a bundled feature that makes an offer look fuller.

Ask exactly what will be in your prescription and whether anastrozole is included by default.

Does enclomiphene protect your fertility?

The fertility case is narrower than the marketing: in the 2025 pooled trials, sperm concentration was higher with clomiphene or enclomiphene than with testosterone gel, but it did not differ significantly from placebo. That supports less sperm suppression than testosterone in those studies, not a promise of better fertility. No one can promise you preserved or restored fertility.^{9, 16}

For men looking at enclomiphene because of fertility, that distinction matters.

🔵 What the pooled data actually found:⁹

• Versus testosterone gel: sperm concentration was about 70 million/mL higher, and the relative risk of falling below 15 million/mL was 0.10.
• Versus placebo: no statistically significant difference in sperm concentration.

The relative-risk figure concerns a sperm-concentration threshold, not the chance of pregnancy or infertility. The results cannot guarantee conception or predict an individual person's response.

So the real, meaningful distinction is against testosterone — and it's a genuine one. Exogenous testosterone can suppress sperm production, which is why the AUA/ASRM male infertility guideline advises against testosterone monotherapy for men interested in current or future fertility.¹⁶

That same guideline says clinicians may use SERMs, hCG or aromatase inhibitors for infertile men with low testosterone — as a Conditional Recommendation on Grade C evidence. That means the evidence is limited and the decision depends on the individual situation. It is not a recommendation for every man with low testosterone or a fertility guarantee.¹⁶

If you and your partner are trying to conceive soon, start with a reproductive urologist or another fertility-aware clinician — not a telehealth intake form. Conception is a two-person clinical question. A semen analysis and a proper couple's evaluation matter more than which subscription is convenient. You can always come back to this decision.

Is Taurus Meds enclomiphene FDA-approved?

No FDA-approved enclomiphene drug is available as of September 10, 2026. Enclomiphene is offered through compounding, but the exact preparation and pharmacy for a Taurus patient still need confirmation. FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing.^{5, 8, 17}

Three facts, all checkable against FDA's own documents:

1. FDA proposed leaving it off the 503A Bulks List, and its advisory committee agreed. 🔵 On June 8, 2022, the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted 4 in favor, 8 against including enclomiphene citrate for use in secondary hypogonadism. That was an advisory vote — not a ban, and not an approval decision.¹⁸

2. It remains in Category 1 — under evaluation. 🔵 FDA's May 14, 2026 nominated-substances list still includes enclomiphene citrate in Category 1. Under FDA's interim policy the agency does not intend to take specified enforcement action when the guidance conditions are met. **Category 1 is not approval.**^{7, 19}

3. Both halves are true at once. The advisory committee voted against inclusion, while the substance remains listed under the interim process. Those documents answer different questions. Neither is FDA approval, and the advisory vote was not itself a blanket ban.^{18, 7, 19}

🔵 What Taurus's own comparison table gets backwards

On the enclomiphene page, Taurus runs a comparison table against "Traditional TRT." One row reads "Access to FDA approved medications" — with a checkmark for Taurus and an X for traditional TRT.¹

That row does not establish approval for this product. Testosterone therapy can use FDA-approved medicines, while compounded testosterone is not FDA-approved. Enclomiphene has no FDA approval at all. The page also closes with “Get approved for FDA-certified TRT in 5 minutes.” FDA approves particular drug products; that phrase does not establish approval of enclomiphene or replace a clinical evaluation.^{1, 17, 43}

We're not going to guess whether that's a drafting error or a broader catalog claim. A platform-level claim about access to approved medicines does not make every drug it offers approved. If you arrived looking for enclomiphene, that row does not establish the approval status of what you'd be taking. Ask your clinician to confirm the exact prescription and whether the preparation is FDA-approved or compounded.¹⁷

🔵 Not a controlled substance — and what that doesn't mean

Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance in the U.S. and requires a valid prescription. Enclomiphene is not federally scheduled, but that does not remove the need for a prescription, an appropriate evaluation or lawful clinical care.^{20, 5}

It says nothing about safety. Controlled-substance scheduling concerns matters including abuse and dependence; it is not a safety rating. The randomized trials behind enclomiphene and clomiphene ran 2 to 30 weeks and were too short to settle long-term safety.⁹ Less regulatory friction is not more evidence.

What side effects need attention?

Enclomiphene is not risk-free, and its long-term safety is not settled. FDA's review describes headaches, hot flushes, nausea and muscle spasms in studies, with vision-related events also reported. EMA raised concern about blood clots in veins when it assessed the application.^{5, 4}

These are findings from the studied medicines and populations, not measured side-effect rates for Taurus's preparation. Tell the clinician about your health history, other medicines and fertility plans, and ask which symptoms need prompt review. A hormone result alone does not settle whether the benefits outweigh the risks.

New vision problems need prompt medical assessment. Chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, fainting or sudden loss of vision can be urgent: seek urgent or emergency care rather than waiting for a subscription support reply. Blood-clot symptoms can need emergency treatment.^{5, 42, 44}

Before paying, get the name of the clinical team handling adverse effects, how to reach it and what happens outside normal hours. “24/7 clinician access” is Taurus's published claim, not a response time we tested.¹

Who actually prescribes it, and which pharmacy fills it?

Taurus's terms identify Taurus Medical, Inc. as a Delaware company and distinguish the platform from medical care and pharmacy services. They name OpenLoop Health, Inc. as a partner MSO — a management services organization — and list four partner pharmacies. That is a public partner list, not confirmation of the clinician or pharmacy assigned to an individual patient.¹⁰

What this means in practice, both ways:

The credit. You can use the names to ask which pharmacy will fill your order, then check that exact business with the relevant state board of pharmacy. The partner list gives you a starting point; it does not establish each pharmacy's current authority to serve your state.

The limit. An MSO is an administrative organization. Naming it doesn't tell you your treating medical practice, your individual clinician, or which of the four pharmacies will fill your prescription. We could not establish any of those for an individual patient, and neither can a partner list.

📄 Taurus states its clinicians are "registered and licensed in the state for which they are prescribing medication." That's a company statement we did not independently verify for any individual prescriber. State rules and the patient's location matter, so ask for the treating practice and clinician before relying on it.^{2, 38}

Can Taurus treat in your state, and what happens after the first test?

Taurus advertises online, nationwide care, but we did not verify an available clinician for every state or each patient's circumstances. State authority, your location during the visit and the clinician's assessment can affect access. Its general online-service promise does not establish that an in-person examination will never be needed.^{1, 38}

The care details to get in writing

We did not verify a plan-specific monitoring or refill timetable, appointment guarantee or complete list of separately billed services. Ask for those answers as part of the offer, not after a shipment runs late.

Can you get your records if you leave?

Taurus's privacy notice describes a process for requesting medical and billing records through its Privacy Officer, including electronic copies when possible. It states a usual 30-day response period and a possible additional 30 days with notice. That is the published process, not a records request we tested.³⁹

Ask the treating practice who holds your actual clinical records, how to obtain lab results and visit notes, whether any copy fee applies, and how access works after cancellation. OpenLoop's consent also addresses sharing records with other clinicians.⁴⁰ Keep the records-access question separate from ending a subscription.

Do not read the website's privacy language as a blanket HIPAA guarantee. Taurus's general terms say the services are not tailored to HIPAA, while its privacy notice describes an intent to comply with HIPAA alongside medical partners. Those documents may address different services; they do not, by themselves, establish which entity and policy govern every form you complete. Read both and ask who receives your information.^{10, 39}

What did we actually verify?

What we actually verified — September 10, 2026: We read Taurus's enclomiphene product page, starting-offer pages, Terms of Service and Cancellation & Refund Policy, and did the cost arithmetic ourselves. We checked medical and regulatory statements against the FDA, EMA, DEA, Endocrine Society, the published AUA/ASRM guidance and the research linked below. We also checked the linked benefit-source identities and the reused testimonial image URLs.

We did not enroll, obtain a prescription, test medication, complete checkout, request records, contact support or attempt cancellation. We did not independently verify a patient's assigned clinician, pharmacy license, delivery or treatment results. This is editorial research, not a hands-on patient review.

What we could not confirm, and won't guess at

• Whether the $17.99 per-billing-period fee in Terms §28 applies to this enclomiphene offer, despite a separate no-membership-fee campaign. ^{10, 36}
• Whether the 8-biomarker panel includes LH and FSH, and whether a second early-morning test is required and included before prescribing.
• The exact dosage form and active ingredients, including whether anastrozole is part of the prescription or a separate clinical decision. ¹
• Which pharmacy and treating practice would handle an individual prescription, and their authority to serve that patient.
• An available clinician for each state, despite the nationwide advertising. ¹
• Whether the struck-through $299 was ever a price actually charged. ¹
• The actual payment sequence, minimum commitment, renewal terms and full twelve-month bill for a specific order.
• The individual monitoring schedule, refill deadlines, clinical response time and records-transfer experience.

🔵 One more thing, about the reviews on Taurus's own pages

Taurus's enclomiphene page displays more than twenty five-star testimonial entries, including photos and "Verified Buyer" labels; its starting-offer page displays three testimonials with photos, names and ages.^{1, 2}

We checked the image files. The same photographs appear on both pages under different names and different badge labels. The image filed as image137.png is captioned "David L. — Verified Buyer" on the enclomiphene page and "Brian H., 39 — Verified Member" on the blood test page. image138.png is "Anthony K." on one and "Zach O., 33" on the other. image142.png is "Mark B." on one and "Richard T., 44" on the other.^{1, 2}

Image reuse alone does not establish who wrote the testimonials or whether the named customers exist. We are not saying these customers don't exist. We're saying something narrower and more useful: the photographs cannot verify the different identities attached to them. We did not establish the authenticity of these provider-hosted testimonials.^{1, 2}

That's why we do not use Taurus's own outcome testimonials as proof on this page. We'd rather show you a price we checked and a study we read.

Who should choose something else?

Four situations should change your next step, and none of them is a reason to feel discouraged. Getting the right evaluation and written offer before a subscription can help you avoid paying for the wrong next step.

You're trying to conceive in the near term. → A reproductive urologist or fertility-aware clinician first. Semen analysis and a couple's evaluation matter more than which platform is convenient.¹⁶

A clinician suspects a testicular cause of low testosterone. → Amplifying the pituitary signal may not help. Urology or endocrinology can establish the cause; do not select a medicine from your own reading of an LH result.^{15, 9}

You're active-duty military or a drug-tested athlete. → 🔵 WADA's 2026 Section S4.2 prohibits anti-estrogenic substances, including SERMs such as clomifene, at all times. The examples are not an exhaustive list, so a different spelling or isolated isomer is not a safe exception. USADA states that holding a prescription does not by itself permit use in sport. The Department of Defense's Operation Supplement Safety flags enclomiphene and tells service members to consult their military healthcare provider. Get that answer from your anti-doping authority or military provider before you pay a civilian clinic. A workplace drug test is not the same as an anti-doping test.^{21, 22, 23}

You need clearer public ingredient and fee disclosures before handing over a card. → Nuform publishes a single-active-ingredient statement for Formula T and public physician and lab fees. That is a disclosure advantage, not proof of a complete individual quote or better clinical care. Compare it on our enclomiphene provider comparison.^{13, 34, 35}

One more, because it's our partner and you deserve to hear it from us: Male Excel is not the answer to a search for plain enclomiphene. Its oral product, Triclozene, is a blend that includes thyroid hormone, and its own pages disagree about which SERM is in it — one page says enclomiphene citrate, another says clomiphene citrate.^{24, 25} Those are different molecules. We have a paid relationship with Male Excel and we'd still rather tell you that than sell you something you didn't ask for.

What 10 questions should you ask before you pay?

These turn a product page into a written offer you can check. They cover the prescription, the bill, the care and the exit — without asking you to pick a dose or read your own labs. Save this.

1. Can a Taurus clinician treat me in the state where I will be located, and is an appointment available? (Ask first. Nationwide advertising does not confirm your appointment.)
2. Does the $17.99 recurring fee in Section 28 of your Terms apply to the enclomiphene plan? How often is it billed?
3. Exactly when is my card charged — at intake, after labs, or after the clinician call? (Your public pages describe different sequences.)
4. Is anastrozole included in my prescription? What are all the active ingredients and the exact dosage form?
5. Does the 8-marker panel include LH and FSH, and will you confirm low testosterone with a second early-morning test before prescribing? Is that test included?
6. Which pharmacy will fill my prescription, and is it authorized to serve my state?
7. Is what I'm being prescribed FDA-approved or compounded? (Get this in writing.)
8. What are all the charge dates and amounts over the next twelve months, including repeat labs, consultations, shipping, tax, any minimum commitment and the renewal price?
9. What is the exact cancellation procedure, what is my billing date, and how do I meet any 72-hour notice requirement? Which charges can be refunded?
10. If care cannot proceed for a non-medical reason — like state coverage or no appointment — what happens to my money?

Question 10 closes a gap that the published medical-disqualification exception does not answer. If the clinic cannot give you a clear written answer about a material charge or care requirement, pause before paying. Keep the offer, the reply and the applicable terms together.¹¹

What else should you know about Taurus Meds enclomiphene?

The remaining questions concern the company's public disclosures, drug identity, billing and access. None of these answers replaces a clinical evaluation or establishes that a particular prescription is appropriate.

Is Taurus Meds legit? Its terms identify Taurus Medical, Inc., OpenLoop as a partner MSO and four pharmacy partners; its offer page names LabCorp and Quest. These are public company disclosures, not independent verification of an individual patient's care. Taurus displays a LegitScript seal, but we did not independently confirm its current status through the issuer's lookup. A displayed seal does not establish that enclomiphene is FDA-approved.^{10, 2, 17}

Is Taurus Meds enclomiphene FDA-approved? No FDA-approved enclomiphene drug is available. A compounded enclomiphene prescription is not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing.^{5, 8, 17}

How much is Taurus Meds enclomiphene per month? Taurus advertises $149 a month and says that includes a 30-day supply, a routine blood test and clinician access, after a $49 starting offer. A $17.99-per-billing-period fee in the general terms remains unresolved for this exact offer, despite a separate no-membership-fee campaign. Get the applicable promotion and charges in writing.^{1, 2, 10, 36}

Does Taurus Meds take insurance? Its page describes a cash-price service rather than an insurance-billed offer. That does not establish whether your insurer would reimburse any separate eligible expense; ask Taurus and your insurer before assuming coverage.²

Can I cancel Taurus Meds anytime? The product page says you're never locked into a plan. The separate refund policy requires at least 72 hours' notice before billing and restricts cancellation refunds, while the terms exclude refunds for blood work and shipped medication. Confirm which policy governs your order and the final charge date.^{1, 11, 10}

What states does Taurus Meds serve? Taurus advertises nationwide online service, but we did not verify an available clinician for every state. Confirm care in the state where you will be located before completing a paid intake.^{1, 38}

Is enclomiphene the same as Clomid? No. Clomid contains clomiphene, a mixture of two geometric isomers — enclomiphene and zuclomiphene. Enclomiphene is one of them, isolated. Clomid's FDA approval for ovulatory dysfunction in women does not extend to a compounded enclomiphene product.^{26, 17} Use of clomiphene in men is off-label; that is different from saying a pure enclomiphene preparation is an approved drug used off-label.^{26, 5}

Is enclomiphene a steroid? No. It's a SERM — a drug that changes how estrogen signals work. It's also not a federally controlled substance, unlike testosterone.^{20, 5}

Will it affect a drug test? It can create an anti-doping problem. WADA prohibits the SERM class under Section S4.2, and a prescription alone does not permit use in sport. Operation Supplement Safety also flags enclomiphene for service members. Ask the relevant authority rather than assuming a routine workplace test and a sports test follow the same rules.^{21, 22, 23}

How fast does it work? The pooled trials followed patients for 2 to 30 weeks; that range is study duration, not a promised time to benefit. A testosterone rise is not proof that symptoms improve on the same schedule — and symptom results were mixed. Your clinician sets the testing and review timeline.⁹

Does enclomiphene protect fertility? In the pooled 2025 trials, sperm concentration was higher than with testosterone gel but not significantly different from placebo. That supports less sperm suppression than testosterone — not a fertility guarantee, and not evidence about pregnancy rates.^{9, 16}

Is enclomiphene safer than TRT? Not established. The randomized trials were too short to settle long-term safety, and the European regulator flagged a venous blood clot risk when its committee recommended refusal in 2018. "Not a controlled substance" is a legal classification, not a safety rating.^{9, 4}

Does the $149 include my labs? Taurus's page says a routine blood test is included, and the $49 starting offer covers the initial 8-marker panel and consultation. A general TRT FAQ mentions a test after 30 days, but the exact enclomiphene testing schedule and any extra charges are not settled. Ask whether diagnostic repeat testing and every later required test are included.^{1, 2}
