Blokes TRT Cost: What You'll Actually Pay in 2026

Blokes TRT cost starts at $99 a month, but its published plans are prepaid: $447 for 3 months, $774 for 6, or $1,188 for 12. With one separately billed $149 lab, a 12-month budget subtotal is $1,337–$1,937 before extras. The refund policy says sales are final. Blokes lists 16 excluded states.

That last line is the one that costs people money. We'll show you how to avoid it below. We'll also show the one month where the $99 plan finally starts to beat the others.

Blokes may fit you if: you live in a state Blokes serves, a clinician has confirmed that TRT is appropriate, you're fine with injections, and you can afford a prepaid commitment. Its annual plan has the lowest modeled spend from month 7 onward.

Not for you if: you need month-to-month payments or live in a state Blokes excludes. If low testosterone hasn't been properly evaluated or you hope to have a child soon, settle the evaluation or fertility care route before buying a treatment plan. 1 7 20

Blokes TRT plan Plan payment up front Monthly equivalent 12-month subtotal with one $149 lab
Flex (3 months) $447 $149/mo $1,937: initial payment + 3 renewals
Commit & Save (6 months) $774 $129/mo $1,697 if you renew once
Full Year (12 months) $1,188 $99/mo $1,337
Starting lab (Complete Hormone Panel) $149 if purchased separately One panel Counted once in these subtotals

Plan prices from Blokes' TRT pricing FAQ, checked September 24, 2026. These are our calculations using one separately billed $149 lab and unchanged renewal prices, not complete personal quotes. Extra diagnostic tests, draw fees, shipping or location-specific lab charges can change the bill. Blokes flags different lab pricing for New York and New Jersey. 1 2 4

How much does Blokes TRT cost per month?

Blokes lists TRT at $99, $129 or $149 a month, depending on how long you commit. You don't pay those amounts monthly. Blokes charges the full term at checkout: $447 for 3 months, $774 for 6 months, or $1,188 for 12 months. 1

Here's the part the monthly number skips. The "$99" only exists inside the 12-month plan. Pick it, and $1,188 leaves your account on day one.

Blokes names its three plans like this on its own pricing FAQ:

Blokes' plan name Commitment Charged at checkout Monthly equivalent How Blokes describes it
Flex Plan 3 months $447 $149 For new patients who want to try it first
Commit & Save 6 months $774 $129 Most popular
Full Year Commitment 12 months $1,188 $99 Best value

So there's no true month-to-month TRT plan at Blokes. The shortest way in is three months, paid at once. 1 4

What the monthly price covers

Blokes says each plan includes:

  • Testosterone cypionate (an injectable form of testosterone) and injection supplies, shipped to you
  • Visits with licensed clinicians
  • Follow-up lab tests: one around 6 weeks after you start, then about every 3 months
  • 1:1 health coaching
  • Unlimited messaging with your care team

These are Blokes' own descriptions. We didn't receive care, so we can't tell you how well they deliver them. 1

One thing worth knowing: Blokes says its health coaches are not doctors. They can't prescribe, diagnose, or give you specific medical advice. They're support staff. Your clinician is the one making medical decisions. 2

What's that "Start now for $75" button?

We could not verify a current $75 starting offer on the live TRT page checked September 24, 2026. A $75 figure is not one of the three published plan prices, and we did not complete checkout. 1

Don't budget around it until Blokes tells you in writing what it covers.

Does the LABS65 code lower the price?

We could not verify LABS65 as an active offer on the current pages we checked, and we didn't test it at checkout. We haven't deducted it from any budget here. A code only belongs in your budget after the checkout total confirms the discount on the exact lab you need. 1 2

What does Blokes TRT cost for the first year?

With one separately billed $149 starting lab, a 12-month budget subtotal is $1,337 on the annual plan, $1,697 on two 6-month payments, or $1,937 on four 3-month payments. These figures assume unchanged renewal prices. Extra diagnostic tests, at-home blood draws, location-specific lab pricing and shipping can add to that. 1 2 4

We built this from four separate Blokes pages: the TRT pricing FAQ, the lab page, the refund policy and the Terms of Use. The subtotals are our calculations, not quotes from Blokes.

Blokes TRT year-one cost ledger

Line item Flex: four payments 6-month: two payments 12-month: one payment
Starting lab (Complete Hormone Panel, includes a 30-minute clinician visit) $149 $149 $149
Plan payments in year one $447 × 4 = $1,788 $774 × 2 = $1,548 $1,188
12-month subtotal: plan plus one $149 lab $1,937 $1,697 $1,337
Monthly average of this subtotal about $161 about $141 about $111
Follow-up labs (6 weeks, then quarterly) Included, per Blokes Included, per Blokes Included, per Blokes

Checked September 24, 2026. Four quarterly payments mean an initial payment plus three renewals; two half-year payments mean one renewal. The public pages do not settle the renewal term or price for your order, so ask. These calculations exclude unresolved extras. 1 4

Notice the "monthly average" row. Even the $99 plan works out to about $111 once you add one $149 starting lab. That's below the published-rate Taurus and Male Excel models later on this page, before unresolved extras. It's just not $99. 1 2 11 13

What costs extra

Possible extra What Blokes says Why it matters
Extra diagnostic testing The $149 listing is for one panel. A second morning testosterone test, LH or FSH is not priced as part of that listing. Ask which tests your clinician needs and what is included. A large marker count does not make one draw a complete diagnosis. 2 7 8
At-home blood draw About $100, if available where you live. In NY, NJ and RI, Blokes lists mobile draws at $99. Ask whether a separate collection charge applies to every draw. Going to an approved lab may avoid the mobile-service charge, but confirm your location's arrangement. 2
New York or New Jersey The site flags different lab-diagnostic pricing due to local requirements. Confirm the lab and collection price for your address. The notice does not establish a different TRT medication-plan price. 1 2
Bigger lab panels Advanced Panel: 71 markers, $399. Comprehensive Panel: 110 markers, $699. Get the price and clinical reason before choosing an upgrade; the $149 model does not include one. 26 27
Shipping The Terms say shipping and handling, if any, will be shown at purchase. The TRT pricing FAQ does not give a shipping amount. Unknown is not the same as free. 1 4
$1 erectile dysfunction (ED) and hair-loss add-ons $1 a month for each add-on category for active TRT or enclomiphene members, according to Blokes. Confirm the exact medicine, supply, clinical approval, state availability and billing term. These are not included in the TRT-only model. 1 22
Peptides and other add-ons Priced separately. Sermorelin is listed at $559 for a 12-week subscription supply, or $699 for a one-time 12-week supply. Not part of TRT. Don't let "while you're here" add-ons creep into your budget. 25

A draw-fee example, not a confirmed bill: five separately charged $100 mobile draws would add $500. The same five draws at $99 would add $495. Your actual number of draws and the charge for each need a written quote; we did not assume either is included or required.

Build your complete number

Start with the plan-only year: $1,188, $1,548 or $1,788. Then add the startup evaluation you actually use, any extra diagnostic tests, separately billed collection fees, shipping, and other required charges. Subtract only a discount or credit confirmed for your order. 1 2 4

Do not count the $149 panel twice, or add a separate initial clinician fee when the purchased panel already includes that visit. Do not put zero next to an unanswered cost. Until every required line is settled, you have a subtotal—not a complete first-year price.

Can you use labs you already have?

Sometimes. Blokes says it can use labs from the last 90 days in some cases. It charges $59 for a consult to review them, and it may still ask for new tests. If you had bloodwork done recently, this can beat paying $149 for a fresh panel. 2

Is Blokes TRT available in my state?

Blokes says it can't prescribe or ship TRT to 16 states: AL, AR, CT, DE, GA, HI, LA, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, OK, PA, RI and SC. It says it serves the other 34 states; Washington, D.C. needs direct confirmation rather than an assumption from its absence on the list. Check access before buying a lab, because the published refund rules conflict. 1 2 3

Here's the trap we want you to miss.

Blokes' lab page says its prescription services are available in all 50 states. That broad claim does not establish testosterone access. Blokes' own TRT page says it can't prescribe or ship TRT to 16 states. And its refund policy says diagnostic lab sales are final, while the lab page describes exceptions. 1 2 3

So a man in Pennsylvania or North Carolina could pay $149 for a Blokes lab, meet with a clinician, and then learn Blokes won't prescribe him testosterone. That's $149 spent before confirming the service he came for.

If you're in one of Blokes' 16 states

We checked each one against Male Excel's current state list. Male Excel lists service in 8 of them. That is a provider-stated coverage comparison, not a check of an individual clinician's license, appointment availability or your eligibility. 1 12

Blokes lists no TRT in… Male Excel lists service there?
Delaware Yes
Georgia Yes
Missouri Yes
North Carolina Yes
North Dakota Yes
Oklahoma Yes
Pennsylvania Yes
South Carolina Yes
Alabama No
Arkansas No
Connecticut No
Hawaii No
Louisiana No
Minnesota No
Mississippi No
Rhode Island No

Blokes' list from its TRT page; Male Excel's from its FAQ. Both checked September 24, 2026. Yes and No report the providers' published coverage, not a promise that a prescription will be issued. 1 12

It cuts the other way too. Male Excel lists Alaska, Idaho and New Hampshire as excluded. Blokes says it serves those states. 1 12

If you're in one of the 8 states both lists exclude, a local primary care doctor or urologist is a sensible starting point. Other providers may have different coverage, but we did not verify a complete alternative-state match for Taurus Meds or Hone Health. Do not pay either one based on a general nationwide claim. 1 12 24

New York and New Jersey: Blokes says it serves you, but flags different lab pricing. Rhode Island: Blokes lists special lab options there, but its TRT page still excludes Rhode Island. 1 2

The $1 add-on offer does not prove TRT access. Blokes advertises it to members on either TRT or enclomiphene. Those are different treatments; confirm state access for the actual medicine, rather than using an add-on offer as a testosterone coverage list. 1 22

Before you go further: is a provider even the right next step?

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.

→ Compare Male Excel's costs and commitment

Male Excel's published-rate model is higher than Blokes' annual model (see below). But Male Excel lists your state and Blokes doesn't. A clinician still has to decide whether TRT is appropriate. 1 11 12

Which Blokes plan should you choose?

For the payment model below, Flex has the lowest spend for 1–3 months, the 6-month plan for 4–6 months, and the annual plan from month 7 onward. That assumes the same renewal price and term, no refunds and timely cancellation. It is a commitment comparison—not a reason to start or stop testosterone. 1 3 4

The words "non-refundable" do not show what leaving early costs. We wanted to know what that actually costs you if you leave the service early. So we ran every exit month.

What you've paid when you leave (the Quit-Month Table)

You leave the service after… Flex (3 months) 6-month 12-month Lowest modeled spend
1 month $596 $923 $1,337 Flex
2 months $596 $923 $1,337 Flex
3 months $596 $923 $1,337 Flex
4 months $1,043 $923 $1,337 6-month
5 months $1,043 $923 $1,337 6-month
6 months $1,043 $923 $1,337 6-month
7 months $1,490 $1,697 $1,337 12-month
8 months $1,490 $1,697 $1,337 12-month
9 months $1,490 $1,697 $1,337 12-month
10 months $1,937 $1,697 $1,337 12-month
11 months $1,937 $1,697 $1,337 12-month
12 months $1,937 $1,697 $1,337 12-month

Includes one separately billed $149 starting lab, but no unresolved extras. Our formula is $149 + the prepaid plan charge × the number of plan terms needed to cover the months shown, rounded up to a whole term. It assumes renewals remain available at the same price and term, with no refund and no further charge after timely cancellation. Blokes' public documents do not settle those renewal details; the cancellation section explains what to confirm. 1 2 3 4

Three rules fall out of that table:

  1. Staying 1–3 months? Flex. It limits prepaid plan spending compared with the longer commitments in this model.
  2. Staying 4–6 months? The 6-month plan.
  3. Staying 7 months or more? The 12-month plan. Before month 7, it's the most expensive choice in this model. Leave the service after month 3 and the $1,337 subtotal averages about $446 for each month you used.

So here's the honest question to ask yourself: have you been on TRT before?

  • New to TRT? You don't yet know how you'll respond, what your follow-up labs will show, or whether you'll like the service. Flex limits what you prepay; it does not make the purchase refundable.
  • Already on TRT and stable, switching from another clinic? The 12-month plan is where Blokes' lower published rate becomes worth comparing—once the new clinician, product, follow-up and renewal terms check out.

Is Blokes cheaper than other online TRT programs?

Blokes' annual-plan subtotal of $1,337 with one $149 lab is below the Taurus and Male Excel published-rate models below. That is not a comparison of complete, identical care packages. Monthly billing also does not prove you can leave after one month without another charge. 1 2 11 13 14

We lined up the published charges over twelve months and kept the missing costs visible, rather than treating a teaser price as the whole bill.

All inputs checked September 24, 2026. Blokes: pricing and lab pages. Male Excel: pricing, test-kit page and FAQ. Taurus: campaign page and Terms. Peter MD: Begin TRT and initial-lab listing. These are our unchanged-price models, not completed checkouts or guaranteed renewal quotes. Your prescription can change the price at programs that price by the amount supplied. 1 2 11 12 13 14 16 17 18

Drug status is a separate check from price. Male Excel describes its cream as compounded, which means it is not FDA-approved. Blokes says compounded products may be used but does not identify the exact testosterone in a personal order. For the other priced offers, we did not verify an exact product and FDA approval record; no row should be read as a guarantee of FDA-approved medication or an equivalent product. 1 12 19

Taurus has an unresolved fee conflict. Its $49 campaign says there are no membership fees, but Terms §28 lists $17.99 per billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase. If that fee applies monthly, it adds $215.88 and takes the model to $2,052.88. We could not confirm a separate $199 month-to-month tier or a six-month prepaid requirement from the current first-party offer; neither is treated as a verified option here. 13 14

Male Excel's calendar and medication bundle matter. The published $120 and $132 medication rates include thyroid tablets; they are not testosterone-only quotes. That bundle does not establish that you need thyroid treatment. The page uses both “60-day supply” and “billed every other month”: the table models six fills, but a strict 60-day schedule starting on day zero would bill a seventh fill on day 360. That scenario would make the injection subtotal $2,967 or the cream subtotal $3,135, before shipping and other charges. Ask for actual charge dates and any repeat-testing costs. 11 12 18

Peter MD's $1,043 is not a complete-care total. It combines a $948 plan with one $95 panel, not every diagnostic and follow-up test. The panel also has state restrictions, so its price is not a universally available starting option. 16 17

Hone Health bills differently, so it doesn't fit neatly in this table. Hone's help center, updated September 17, 2026, says its men's hormone therapy membership totals $1,620 a year before medication, charged as $135 monthly, and you can cancel any time. Medication is extra; that membership figure does not settle all startup or other plan-specific charges. Check Hone directly for your total. 15

What leaving early could cost

Program Modeled starting spend—not a verified exit price
Taurus Meds $198 is $49 + one advertised $149 treatment month. It is not a confirmed cancel-after-one-month price; the accepted commitment and any separate fee remain unresolved.
Male Excel About $438 + shipping: $99 start, one $99 membership month and one $240 medication fill covering 60 days. This assumes cancellation prevents another membership or medication charge; confirm the dates.
Blokes Flex $596: one separately purchased $149 lab + a $447 three-month plan, before extras. There is no published one-month TRT plan.

Arithmetic from the providers' published figures. The Male Excel $99 start includes its at-home test and consultation; the table does not assume extra diagnostic or follow-up tests are free. None of these figures is a verified refund or exit quote. 1 2 11 12 13 14 18

The catch with Blokes, stated plainly

Blokes does not let you pay month to month. Every published TRT plan is paid in full, up front, for at least three months. If avoiding a long prepaid term is your top priority, Male Excel's no-contract offer is worth comparing—but its medication still comes in 60-day fills. Ask Taurus for its actual payment term rather than assuming its monthly-looking rate means a one-month commitment. 1 11 12 13 14

The trade is a lower published rate for a longer commitment: Blokes lists a year of medication, supplies, clinician visits, follow-up labs and coaching at $1,188. Add one separately billed $149 lab, and that's $1,337 before extras—below the Taurus and Male Excel models above. For a man who's already stable on clinician-managed TRT and expects to stay with the service, that trade is worth considering after the new clinician and written terms check out. 1 2 11 13

If you'd rather not prepay three months or more:

→ Review Taurus Meds' $49 start, fees and payment-term questions

→ Compare Male Excel's no-contract pricing and 60-day bills

If you're staying a year and your state is covered:

→ Review Blokes' $149 lab and included clinician visit

Confirm state access and whether recent outside labs can be used before paying. A lab and a visit don't guarantee a prescription. 1 2

Can you cancel Blokes or get a refund?

Blokes' refund policy says hormone subscriptions can be canceled, but prepaid subscriptions and lab sales are final. Its Terms add a three-month minimum and a 30-day notice rule tied to a monthly processing date after the initial commitment. The lab page describes refund exceptions, so the documents do not provide one clean rule for every order. 2 3 4

Blokes' TRT page promises "No hidden fees. Easy cancellations." That's the marketing. Here's what Blokes' own documents say when you put them side by side.

What Blokes says vs. what its own policies say

Blokes says Blokes' own policy or terms say What it means for you
Easy cancellations (TRT page) Hormone subscriptions can be canceled any time, but sales are final and nonrefundable (Refund policy). Canceling future charges is not the same as getting prepaid money back. 1 3
— At least 3 consecutive months; email cancellation 30 days before the next monthly processing date, after the initial commitment (Terms, Billing section). Ask for the cutoff and effective date for your 3-, 6- or 12-month order. The wording does not explain those plans cleanly. 4
A prescription judged inappropriate will be refunded immediately (lab page FAQ) Diagnostic lab sales and subscriptions are final (Refund policy). The documents do not identify the same refundable line items. Do not assume the lab is refunded—or that no refund exception can apply. 2 3
The lab page describes refunds for problems with its NY/NJ/RI collection arrangements The separate Refund policy says lab sales are final. Save the offer and ask which exception applies to your location and payment. 2 3
Prescription services in all 50 states (lab page) TRT cannot be prescribed or shipped to 16 states (TRT page). Check your state for testosterone specifically. 1 2
No hidden fees (TRT page) Home draws, location-specific diagnostics and larger panels can add cost (lab page and location notices). These charges and qualifications appear on different parts of the site. Get one itemized quote. 1 2 4

The TRT page, lab page, Refund & Return Policy and Terms were checked September 24, 2026. Blokes' Terms were last updated September 15, 2025. These are published policy statements, not a determination of every refund right under applicable law.

How to cancel Blokes

  1. Email info@joiandblokes.com and say you want to cancel your TRT subscription. Blokes' Terms also list a phone number: 720-828-8596.
  2. Do it early. Send the request well before the 30-day notice point in the Terms, and ask Blokes to confirm the exact cutoff and effective date for your order. Do not wait until the commitment ends to ask how to prevent renewal.
  3. Keep the reply. Save Blokes' written confirmation.
  4. Check your statement after the date your plan would have renewed. 4

The pages we checked do not clearly settle what happens when each plan ends—whether it renews for the same term, switches billing arrangements, or stops—and at what price. Ask before you buy. Save the reply confirming that both the treatment plan and any separate subscription you want to cancel have ended. 1 3 4

What other customers have said about billing

These are individual experiences, not proof of how Blokes works for everyone. They come from Blokes' Trustpilot profile, which mixes reviews from its men's (Blokes) and women's (Joi) services. 6

  • One reviewer (Kendra Conway, August 17, 2026) said she was charged with "no notice that they were going to charge my card." Blokes replied the same day that it had corrected the charges and would call her. 6
  • Another reviewer (Kimberley Shearer, September 2026) praised her providers but said automatic billing sometimes didn't match what her provider had directed, and that fixing it was hard. 6

Trustpilot's own summary of recent reviews is mostly positive about staff and scheduling. It also notes some complaints about response times and hard-to-resolve billing questions. The lesson isn't "avoid Blokes." It's "know your renewal date, and get answers in writing." 6

Does Blokes take insurance, HSA or FSA?

Blokes doesn't bill insurance for TRT and isn't a Medicare or Medicaid provider, so plan on paying cash. You can pay with HSA or FSA funds through a service called Flex at checkout. Whether your plan accepts the charge is up to your plan administrator. 1 4

  • Insurance: Blokes says it doesn't bill insurance directly. It helps with insurance for some other medicines (like thyroid pills and some weight-loss drugs), but not for its TRT plans. 1
  • Medicare and Medicaid: Blokes' Terms say it isn't a participating provider in any federal or state health program. 4
  • HSA and FSA: Pick "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" at checkout. Blokes says it will provide receipts and that your provider will write a Letter of Medical Necessity if you ask. That letter can help if your account administrator wants proof. 1 4

If you have insurance or Medicare: compare an in-network clinician and a pharmacy quote for the exact FDA-approved prescription with the cash program. Coverage, copays, visits and labs need to be priced together; a cheap vial alone is not the full cost of care. See our testosterone cypionate cost guide and our TRT cost guide to compare.

What testosterone do you get from Blokes, and is it FDA-approved?

Blokes' TRT page describes testosterone cypionate injections and says its medications may include compounded products, which aren't FDA-approved. Its pricing page does not identify the exact product or pharmacy that would fill your TRT prescription. Ask for both before you pay; a list of partner pharmacies is not an answer for your order. 1 4 19

Two words matter here.

  • FDA-approved means the FDA reviewed that specific drug product for safety, effectiveness and quality before approving it. 19
  • Compounded means ingredients were combined, mixed or altered to make a medicine for a patient's needs. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. That's a legal category, not an insult. The FDA does not review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. 19

Blokes is upfront about this. Its TRT page says its drugs may include compounded products the FDA hasn't approved, and that the FDA doesn't verify the safety or effectiveness of compounded medicines. 1 19

Which pharmacies fill Blokes prescriptions?

Blokes' Terms of Use name seven partner pharmacies: 4

  • Strive Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy Hub
  • Tailor Made Compounding Pharmacy
  • Cadre Labs LLC
  • Empower Pharmacy
  • LillyDirect Self Pay Pharmacy Solutions (Gifthealth)
  • Partell Pharmacy

Several of these are compounding pharmacies. Blokes' Terms also say it doesn't fill prescriptions itself. It connects you to these pharmacies. 4

What we couldn't find: which pharmacy fills TRT specifically, and whether your testosterone will be compounded or an FDA-approved generic. Ask Blokes both questions in writing, including the dispensing location and exact product name. You can then look up that pharmacy's license on your state's board of pharmacy website. We did not verify a pharmacy license or a clinician license for an individual order. 1 4

Injections, creams or capsules?

Blokes says it believes injections work best, but its FAQ mentions capsules and creams for men who don't like needles. That is the provider's preference, not a finding from this cost guide. The FAQ does not identify or price the exact alternative products; ask whether a capsule contains testosterone or a different medicine such as enclomiphene. 1 22

If you know you want a cream, Male Excel publishes a medication-package price starting at $132 a month, billed as a 60-day supply every other month, plus its $99 monthly membership and $99 start. Do you need labs before Blokes prescribes TRT — and is one lab enough?

Blokes says it uses labs and a clinician review before prescribing; its $149 panel lists 56 markers, including testosterone, calculated free testosterone, hematocrit and PSA. The Endocrine Society calls for symptoms or signs plus consistently low results, confirmed with repeat early-morning fasting testing—not one draw alone. It also recommends LH and FSH to help find the cause once testosterone deficiency is diagnosed; neither appears on this panel's list. 1 2 7 8

This section concerns adult men being evaluated for testosterone deficiency, not a diagnostic framework for women, adolescents, gender-affirming care or nonmedical use.

A few quick definitions:

  • Total testosterone: all the testosterone in your blood.
  • Free testosterone: the small part that isn't attached to proteins.
  • Hematocrit: how much of your blood is red blood cells. TRT can raise it, so it's watched.
  • PSA (prostate-specific antigen): a protein measured in blood to help assess prostate health; a PSA result alone does not diagnose cancer.
  • LH (luteinizing hormone): a signal from the pituitary gland, at the base of the brain, telling the testes to make testosterone. It helps a clinician tell whether the problem starts in the testes or in the hormone-control system.
  • FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone): a pituitary signal involved in sperm production. 7 9 20

How Blokes' $149 panel lines up with the guidelines

What the guidance calls for Blokes' Complete Hormone Panel
Symptoms or signs plus consistently low, accurately measured testosterone—not a symptom score or single cutoff (Endocrine Society) Lists testosterone, calculated free testosterone and SHBG, the protein that carries testosterone. Results still need clinical interpretation. 2 7 8
At least two early-morning, fasting testosterone tests on separate occasions to confirm the diagnosis One purchased panel does not establish two separate draws. Ask whether a second morning test is ordered and whether it costs extra. 2 7 8
LH and FSH to distinguish testicular causes from problems in the brain's hormone-control system in men with diagnosed testosterone deficiency LH and FSH are not in the listed 56 markers. Ask how cause-finding tests are ordered and paid for. 2 7
Safety assessment and monitoring, including hematocrit; prostate assessment and PSA monitoring as appropriate to age, risk and shared decisions Hematocrit and PSA are listed. Estradiol is also listed, but its inclusion does not mean every man needs routine estradiol testing. 2 7 9
Further tests based on the suspected cause; prolactin testing in men with an appropriate hormone pattern Prolactin is included. A broad panel does not replace a targeted clinical workup. 2 7 20

Blokes' marker list checked September 24, 2026. A test missing from this product list is not proof that Blokes never orders it separately. 2

Why this matters for cost: if your clinician wants LH, FSH or a second test, your real starting price may be higher than $149. Ask before you pay. 2 7 8

A word on Blokes' "350 is normal but I still feel bad" answer

Blokes' FAQ answers a man whose testosterone came back at 350 ng/dL. It says he may still be a candidate, and that Blokes uses a symptom-based, personalized approach rather than relying strictly on lab ranges. 1

The Endocrine Society's July 2026 statement says the diagnosis needs symptoms plus consistently low, accurately measured testosterone, and that the definition is the same for men of any age. It describes a common clinical threshold near 300 ng/dL, not a stand-alone diagnosis. Clinical history, the test method, repeat morning results and free testosterone when indicated matter; one result of 350 does not settle the question either way. 7 8

We're not telling you what your number means. That's a job for a clinician who knows your history. We are telling you that symptoms alone are not enough, so ask which diagnostic standard your clinician uses and how low results will be confirmed. 7 8

Getting the lab done

Blokes says to fast for 12 hours and test in the morning. Its FAQ describes Quest locations, or BioReference in New York and New Jersey, while the lab page also describes location-specific mobile options. Follow the ordering clinician's instructions and confirm the collection site for your address. Blokes says results usually take 7 to 14 days. 2

For the tests to discuss with your clinician, see our low-testosterone blood-testing guide.

When to skip the online route

Have very low results or complex findings assessed by the appropriate clinician before a prepaid treatment commitment. A history of prostate or breast cancer, high hematocrit, untreated severe sleep apnea, uncontrolled heart failure, or a recent heart attack or stroke calls for an individualized medical assessment, often with urology or endocrinology. Sudden severe headache or new vision changes need prompt medical attention, not a routine online subscription. 7 9

Compare online TRT and local care when you need an in-person assessment or closer coordination with your usual doctor.

Should you choose Blokes if you want kids soon?

A fertility-focused clinician is the better first step when having children is a priority, because testosterone therapy can lower or stop sperm production. Blokes lists its fertility service as "coming soon," and its starting panel does not list LH or FSH. Discuss current and future fertility plans with a urologist or reproductive urologist before committing to TRT—not only when you are already trying to conceive. 1 2 7 20

Here's why. Testosterone from outside your body can reduce the hormone signals from the brain and pituitary gland to the testes. The testosterone cypionate label describes this feedback effect, and AUA/ASRM guidance explains that sperm production may decrease or stop. Do not read the label's reference to large doses as proof that prescribed TRT avoids this risk. 9 20

That doesn't mean TRT will make you infertile. It means the question has to come before you start, not after. 7 20

Blokes also advertises enclomiphene from $99 a month; its pricing FAQ ties that rate to a $1,188 annual commitment. The page header also says quarterly billing, so confirm the term rather than treating $99 as a pay-as-you-go price. Enclomiphene is a different drug that works by nudging your own body to make more testosterone. It isn't TRT. There's no FDA-approved enclomiphene product in the U.S. It does not guarantee preserved fertility or recovery on a set timeline. Read our enclomiphene cost guide and talk to a fertility-aware clinician. 20 21 22 28

Is Blokes legit?

Blokes has active treatment pages, says it connects patients with licensed clinicians, and names partner pharmacies, but those disclosures are not an independent check of your clinician or medicine. In June 2026, the FDA sent it a warning letter about compounded weight-loss drug marketing—not testosterone. Its 4.6 Trustpilot score covers a mixed Joi and Blokes profile, not a verified measure of TRT clinical quality. 1 4 5 6

The FDA warning letter, in plain words

On June 8, 2026, the FDA sent Joi + Blokes a warning letter (reference MARCS-CMS 728283). The FDA found false or misleading claims on Blokes' website about compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, the drugs behind weight-loss shots. Two problems: 5

  1. The website compared its compounded semaglutide with Ozempic and Wegovy using “bioidentical” language. The FDA said the claims misleadingly implied the compounded product had FDA approval or evaluation for safety and effectiveness. 5
  2. The product pictures showed "Joi + Blokes" on the label, which suggested Blokes made the drugs. It didn't. 5

The letter doesn't mention testosterone. It is a warning letter, not a TRT recall or a TRT ban. We bring it up for one reason: it shows why you should ask exactly who makes and dispenses your medicine. The FDA page reviewed on September 24, 2026 did not show a linked close-out letter; that is not a finding about every later company action. 5

Company details

  • Company: Joi and Blokes (Joi is the women's brand; Blokes is the men's). Co-founded by Josh and Katy Whalen. 6
  • Website: joiandblokes.com. The old blokes.co address now leads there. 29
  • Addresses on the record: Denver, Colorado (on the FDA letter) and Omaha, Nebraska (in the Terms, for legal notices). 4 5
  • Contact: info@joiandblokes.com, 720-828-8596. 4
  • Trustpilot: 4.6 out of 5 from 1,421 reviews as of September 24, 2026. The profile is claimed, on a paid Trustpilot plan, and Trustpilot notes the company hasn't recently invited customers to review. Blokes had replied to 87% of negative reviews. 6

What we actually verified

We checked the public prices, policy wording, product disclosures and sources listed below on September 24, 2026, then recalculated the cost tables. We verified what those sources say—not an individual's eligibility, the quality of care, or a completed checkout.

What we read: Blokes' TRT product page and pricing FAQ, its Complete Hormone Panel page, its Refund & Return Policy, its Terms of Use (services, pharmacy, billing and contact sections), its Advanced and Comprehensive panel pages, its enclomiphene and sermorelin pages, the FDA warning letter to Joi + Blokes, Blokes' Trustpilot profile, the Endocrine Society's clinical guideline and July 16, 2026 statement, the testosterone cypionate label on DailyMed, AUA/ASRM infertility guidance published by ASRM, FDA compounding and enclomiphene records, OPSS's current enclomiphene information, DEA/HHS's fourth temporary extension, Male Excel's pricing, test-kit page and FAQ, Taurus Meds' $49 offer and Terms, Peter MD's plan and starting-lab listings, and Hone Health's current membership payment breakdown.

Confirmed on Blokes' own pages: the three plan prices and upfront amounts; the separately listed $149 lab and its 56-marker list; the 16 excluded states; the general no-refund policy and conflicting exceptions; the cancellation wording; the seven-pharmacy list; the compounded-drug disclosure; the HSA/FSA and insurance statements. 1 2 3 4

What Blokes says, which we didn't test: what the plans include, how coaching and clinician visits work, lab turnaround times, and refunds when a prescription isn't approved. 1 2

What we didn't do: buy a plan, complete checkout, open an account, receive care, contact support or try to cancel. We did not verify an assigned clinician's or dispensing pharmacy's license.

The service details a price card does not settle

Detail What the public pages establish What still needs an answer for your order
Clinician access and credentials Blokes advertises licensed clinicians, visits and unlimited care-team messaging. The clinician's name and license, next available appointment, whether visits stay with the same clinician, and response times. Unlimited messaging is not a promise of instant physician access. 1 4
Follow-up testing Blokes describes a test around 6 weeks, then about every 3 months, with the schedule potentially changing once treatment is stable. The exact tests, clinician-set cadence, blood-pressure checks, separate draw fees and any added diagnostic charges. 1 2 9
Medication and dispensing pharmacy Injectable testosterone cypionate is described; compounded products may be used; seven pharmacies are named in the Terms. Exact product, FDA-approved or compounded status, dispensing location, quantity, supply duration and shipping cost. 1 4
Refills and continuity Medication delivery is part of the described program. Refill interval, lead time, any labs or visit required for release, delayed-shipment process, and what happens after a move or a prescribing-rule change. A prepaid year is not a promise to ship a year's medication at once. 1 4
Results and medical records Blokes says lab results are uploaded to its portal and an email prompts you to arrange a review. How to obtain and transfer the full clinical record, any fee, and portal access after cancellation. We did not verify a records-export process. 2 4

What we couldn't confirm: an active $75 start offer or LABS65 discount; the complete diagnostic-testing charge; the renewal price and term; shipping costs; the exact NY/NJ lab quote; whether home-draw fees apply to every follow-up lab; the precise products and prices for cream or capsule alternatives; which pharmacy fills your TRT; and the account-specific cancellation and refund outcome. Ask Blokes these before you pay.

Before you pay Blokes: the questions to get answered in writing

The fastest way to avoid a surprise bill is to ask Blokes a few specific questions by email before you check out. Here's the checklist, plus a message you can copy.

  1. Do you prescribe TRT in my state, and is an appropriately licensed clinician currently available to see me?
  2. What is my exact starting payment? Are any advertised introductory offers or lab discounts active for my order, and can you use my recent outside labs?
  3. Will I need a second early-morning testosterone test? Is LH included? What do extra tests cost?
  4. Is the at-home blood draw fee charged for every follow-up lab?
  5. Which pharmacy will fill my testosterone, and is it compounded or FDA-approved?
  6. What are the shipping cost, supply duration, refill dates and any tests or visits needed before each refill?
  7. When my plan ends, does it renew for the same term, switch to monthly billing, or stop? At what price?
  8. What's the last day I can cancel before the next charge?
  9. If a clinician decides TRT isn't right for me, which of my payments come back?
  10. If I move, need in-person care or face a prescribing-rule change mid-plan, what happens to my prepaid months? How do I obtain and transfer my lab results and clinical record?

Hi — before I sign up for a Blokes TRT plan, can you please answer these in writing? (1) Do you prescribe TRT where I live, and can a licensed clinician see me? (2) What is my full starting payment, including required tests, collection fees and shipping? Can you use my recent labs? (3) Which pharmacy fills TRT, and is the exact testosterone product compounded or FDA-approved? (4) Does the starting lab include LH or FSH, and will I need a second morning test? What does it cost? (5) What happens when my plan ends—does it renew, and at what price? (6) What is the last date I can cancel before the next charge? (7) If I'm not prescribed testosterone, which payments are refunded? (8) What are the refill requirements, and how do I transfer my records if I leave? Thank you.

Send it to info@joiandblokes.com. A clear, written answer is worth more than anything on a sales page — ours included. 4

Online TRT can be lawful, but a valid prescription alone does not verify every part of a provider's compliance. Testosterone is a prescription-only Schedule III controlled substance. As of September 24, 2026, the federal temporary rule permits eligible DEA-registered clinicians to prescribe it through qualifying audio-video visits without a prior in-person exam through December 31, 2026, subject to federal and state requirements. 9 10 23

On December 31, 2025, the DEA and HHS extended that rule for a fourth time. Clinicians can prescribe Schedule II–V medicines through audio-video telemedicine, without an in-person visit first, as long as they follow federal and state law. 10 23

The clinician must also be permitted to treat you where you are physically located during the visit. A provider's state list is not permission to use a different location on an intake form, and a questionnaire alone is not the qualifying audio-video encounter described by the rule. 23 24

Why this matters for your wallet: a 12-month plan begun on September 24, 2026 runs beyond December 31, 2026; a six-month plan does too. The current extension does not settle the rules for those later months. Ask Blokes what happens to prepaid service if an in-person evaluation or another care change becomes necessary. Do not assume a refund or uninterrupted remote prescribing. 1 3 4 23

Frequently asked questions

Blokes' monthly-looking price does not tell you the payment due today, the full diagnostic cost or the refund terms. These answers use the same published prices and conditions as the tables above.

Do I really pay $1,188 at once for the $99 plan?

Yes. The $99-a-month price is the 12-month plan, and Blokes charges the full $1,188 at checkout. 1

Does Blokes have a monthly TRT plan?

No. The shortest plan is 3 months, paid up front ($447). Blokes' Terms also set a 3-month minimum. 1 4

How much is Blokes TRT per month, really?

With one separately billed $149 starting lab, the annual-plan subtotal averages about $111 a month across twelve months. Two 6-month payments average about $141, and four Flex payments about $161. Those figures exclude unresolved extras and assume unchanged renewals. 1 2 4

Can I get a refund from Blokes?

Blokes' refund policy says TRT subscriptions and lab purchases can't be refunded. Its lab page describes exceptions for some collection-access problems and says a prescription judged inappropriate will be refunded. The documents do not clearly settle which payments come back in every case. Get an itemized answer for your order in writing. 2 3

How do I cancel Blokes?

Email info@joiandblokes.com early and ask for the exact non-renewal deadline and effective date for your plan. The Terms refer to 30 days before the next monthly processing date after the initial commitment, which does not clearly explain each prepaid term. Blokes also lists 720-828-8596. Keep the written confirmation. 3 4

Are labs included with Blokes TRT?

Blokes says follow-up labs are included: one around 6 weeks after starting, then about every 3 months, with the schedule potentially changing later. It separately lists a $149 starting panel with a clinician visit and a $59 review option for some recent outside labs. Whether extra diagnostic testing or collection fees apply needs confirmation. 1 2

What does the $149 Blokes lab include?

Blokes lists a 56-marker blood panel and a 30-minute visit with a clinician to go over your results. It includes testosterone, calculated free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, hematocrit, PSA and prolactin. LH and FSH aren't on its list. 2

What is Blokes' $75 offer?

We could not verify a current $75 starting offer on the live TRT page checked September 24, 2026. Do not use that figure as the plan price or deduct it from your budget without an order-specific explanation. 1

Does Blokes take insurance or Medicare?

No. Blokes doesn't bill insurance for TRT, and its Terms say it doesn't participate in Medicare or Medicaid. 1 4

Can I use my HSA or FSA at Blokes?

Yes, through Flex at checkout. Your provider can give you a Letter of Medical Necessity if your plan asks for one. Your plan administrator makes the final call. 1 4

Which states can't get Blokes TRT?

Blokes lists Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Carolina as excluded for TRT. 1

Why are Blokes' prices different in New York and New Jersey?

Blokes attributes the difference to local requirements and flags lab-diagnostic pricing for New York and New Jersey. We did not verify a location-specific checkout quote or a different TRT medication-plan price. Ask for each charge separately. 1 2

Is Blokes' testosterone FDA-approved?

Blokes doesn't say on its pricing page. It says its medications may include compounded products, which aren't FDA-approved. Ask which pharmacy fills your prescription and what you'll receive. 1 4 19

Are Blokes' $1 ED and hair-loss add-ons real?

Blokes advertises ED and hair-loss add-on categories for $1 a month each to active TRT or enclomiphene members. Confirm the exact product, supply, prescription decision, state access and billing term. We did not verify that every drug or formulation in a category is available to every member at that price. 1 22

Is Blokes cheaper than Male Excel?

Blokes' $1,337 annual-plan-plus-one-lab model is below Male Excel's $2,727 six-fill injection-package model, before unresolved extras. Male Excel markets no contract and lists service in eight states Blokes excludes, but its medications come in 60-day fills. Neither subtotal is a complete personal quote. 1 2 11 12 18

Is Blokes cheaper than Taurus Meds?

Blokes' annual and two-payment six-month models are below Taurus's $1,837 advertised-rate twelve-month model before extras. Taurus's applicable membership fee and billing term are unresolved, so we cannot verify a cancel-after-one-month total. Compare written commitments, not just monthly-looking rates. 1 2 13 14

How much is Blokes enclomiphene?

Blokes advertises enclomiphene from $99 a month, with its pricing FAQ tying that rate to $1,188 prepaid for twelve months. It is a different drug from TRT. There's no FDA-approved enclomiphene product in the U.S. Confirm the billing term because the page header and pricing FAQ differ. 21 22 28

Can I use labs from another doctor?

Sometimes. Blokes says labs from the last 90 days can be used in some cases, with a $59 consult to review them. It may still ask for new tests. 2
