IAMHRT Cost in 2026: What IAM's TRT Really Costs Per Month and Per Year
Compare IAM's published ten-week TRT package prices, annualized estimates and disputed lab and shipping inclusions before requesting a complete written quote.
Last updated: September 30, 2026
IAMHRT cost for men's TRT is listed at $260 for Essential or $360 for Complete per 10 weeks—about $113 or $156 a month when annualized. IAM says there is no monthly membership, but its terms bill labs and shipping separately. Conflicting inclusion claims mean these are package prices, not complete first-year quotes. 1, 4
Best for further consideration if: your low testosterone has already been properly evaluated, you want injections and cash-pay care, and you'd rather skip a monthly membership fee. Get the complete quote and product details before deciding.
Not for you if: you need to rely on one published all-in price, want IAM to bill insurance, or live in Alaska or Hawaii. If you're trying to have a child soon or your diagnosis is not settled, resolve that with a qualified clinician before choosing a package. 5, 11

IAMHRT cost at a glance
| IAM men's plan | Listed price | Advertised period | Monthly equivalent | 52-week package equivalent | Main listed difference |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $260 | 10 weeks | $112.67 | $1,352 | Testosterone, supplies, anastrozole, consultation and portal support |
| Complete | $360 | 10 weeks | $156.00 | $1,872 | Adds gonadorelin |
Prices from IAM's men's page, checked September 30, 2026. Yearly equivalent = price × 5.2 ten-week periods; monthly equivalent = yearly equivalent ÷ 12. They're budgeting numbers, not IAM billing amounts. Listed medication is subject to a clinician's prescribing decision; a package list is not a recommendation to use every item. 1, 4
That last part is the whole story of IAMHRT cost. We found three IAM pages live on the same day with three different answers about what's included. Below, we lay them side by side, do the yearly math you'd otherwise do on a napkin, and give you seven questions that turn IAM's sticker price into your real number before you pay a cent.
Looking for women's pricing? IAM has a separate women's listing at $175 per 10 weeks. This guide's detailed budget and medical discussion cover adult men's TRT, not women's hormone treatment or gender-affirming care. 8
What we actually verified — last verified September 30, 2026
What we checked: IAM's men's and separate TRT program pages, homepage, About page, treatment catalog, two terms documents, privacy policy, contact page and women's page. We also checked IAM's Trustpilot profile and the official medical and regulatory sources linked below.
Confirmed as published: the $260/$360 and $280/$380 price listings; conflicting lab and shipping statements; no-monthly-membership statement; insurance exclusions; two different refund cutoffs; and a pharmacy reference to “1st Choice.” These are verified observations of provider statements, not independent confirmation that services were delivered.
Provider-stated only: states served, Labcorp and Quest access, online care since 2020, included services, clinician and pharmacy licensing, and delivery estimates.
Things we could not confirm: your complete first-year quote; lab and shipping amounts; exact testosterone product, strength and quantity; assigned prescriber and pharmacy's full identity and licenses; actual billing and refill schedule; or response speed. Some program-specific pages could not be retrieved, so their detailed prices and supply sizes are not treated as verified here.
How we checked: This is a cost guide built from public sources. We did not enroll, check out, or receive care. It has not been medically reviewed.
TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.
A separate issue before choosing: IAM's catalog lists retatrutide, which FDA says cannot be used in compounding under federal law. This is not testosterone, and a listing is not proof of dispensing; see the catalog finding and its limits. 7, 19

How much does IAMHRT cost per month and per year?
IAM's men's page lists $260 for Essential or $360 for Complete per 10-week course. Spread over a standardized 52-week year, that's about $112.67 or $156.00 a month and $1,352 or $1,872 for 52 weeks. Those totals don't include any separately billed labs or shipping. 1, 4
IAM advertises these prices by the 10-week course, not as monthly charges. That's why IAMHRT's cost is hard to compare with programs that advertise "$149/month."
So we converted it. Our comparison uses 52 weeks, which is 5.2 ten-week courses. Multiply, then divide by 12:
| Budget measure | Essential | Complete |
|---|---|---|
| Price per advertised 10-week course | $260 | $360 |
| 52 weeks of courses (× 5.2) | $1,352 | $1,872 |
| Monthly equivalent (÷ 12) | $112.67 | $156.00 |
| Illustrative first-year cash paid, with six full advance payments | $1,560 | $2,160 |
| Verified all-in first-year total | Not established | Not established |
A standardized 52-week comparison is 364 days, not a full calendar year. The cash example assumes unchanged prices and payment at the start of each consecutive 10-week course. It is not a verified IAM billing schedule.
Why your first-year payments can be higher than the yearly number
This catches people. If you pay for each course when it starts, your payments land at weeks 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. That's six payments inside your first 12 months, not 5.2.
The sixth payment nominally covers weeks 50 to 60, including time beyond the modeled year. That is prepaid coverage in this example, not a promise about the usable life of a vial or how much medication IAM will dispense. Your first-year bank statement could show $1,560 for Essential, not $1,352, before extras. This assumes you pay per course and the price doesn't change. We did not verify IAM's exact billing schedule, so confirm it.
Does your dose change the price?
We could not confirm IAM's dose-related pricing rule or the exact vial strength and quantity for your quote. If your prescribed dose uses a vial faster or slower than 10 weeks, ask IAM how that changes your price and refill timing. Your dose is your clinician's call, not a budgeting choice.
What's included in IAM's Essential and Complete plans?
IAM's men's page lists consultation, testosterone and supplies, anastrozole, and portal support in both plans; Complete adds gonadorelin. IAM's About page advertises $0 video consultations, and its Terms say there's no monthly membership fee. The precise prescription and included quantities still need to appear in your quote. 1, 6, 4
Here's the line-by-line from the public pages we could inspect:
| Item | Essential ($260) | Complete ($360) |
|---|---|---|
| Consultation | Listed; IAM advertises $0 video consultations | Listed; IAM advertises $0 video consultations |
| Lab review | Confirm which review and follow-up visits the quote covers | Confirm which review and follow-up visits the quote covers |
| Testosterone and supplies | Listed | Listed |
| Exact testosterone product, strength and vial size | Confirm before paying | Confirm before paying |
| Anastrozole | Listed; prescribing is a clinical decision | Listed; prescribing is a clinical decision |
| Gonadorelin | Not included on this listing | Listed |
| Mixing kit and extra syringes | Not listed | Listed on IAM's separate $380 Complete page; confirm for the $360 quote |
| Program adjustments | IAM describes adjustments as included | IAM describes adjustments as included |
| Portal messaging with your care team | Listed | Listed |
| Monthly membership fee | IAM says none | IAM says none |
| The lab tests themselves | See next section | See next section |
| Shipping | See next section | See next section |
These are provider-stated inclusions. The $360 and $380 pages are not assumed to have identical terms. IAM's catalog names testosterone cypionate, but a drug name alone does not establish the exact dispensed product or its approval status. 1, 2, 7, 4
A few plain-English notes:
- Testosterone cypionate is an injectable form of testosterone. IAM lists it in its treatment catalog; confirm that it is the product on your actual plan. 7
- Anastrozole is a pill that lowers estrogen. The FDA approved it to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women; use for estrogen management during men's TRT is off-label. That's a medical decision, not a feature to shop for. 15
- Gonadorelin is a lab-made form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It acts through the pituitary gland, which sends hormone signals to the testes. That mechanism does not prove that IAM's regimen preserves fertility. More on whether it's worth $100 below. 14
If that list covers what you're looking for, the next step is simple. See IAM's published Essential and Complete plans → Ask for your lab and shipping price in writing before you pay.
The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay. The tool is educational. It doesn't diagnose low testosterone, decide eligibility, or guarantee a prescription.
Are labs and shipping included in IAMHRT's cost?
IAM's public pages do not agree on what the package price covers. Its separate TRT program page includes shipping, and its men's page describes lab work as included, while the homepage and Terms describe separate lab charges and the Terms also bill shipping separately. Budget for unresolved extras until IAM gives you an itemized quote. 2, 1, 3, 4
Here's what each IAM page says, word for word where it matters:
| What you're checking | Separate TRT program page | Men's page | Homepage and Terms of Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Page | /trt-program/ | /men/ | Homepage and /terms |
| Plan names | TRT Core / TRT Complete | Essential / Complete | Terms refer to the selected program |
| Price per 10 weeks | $280 / $380 | $260 / $360 | No corresponding plan-price pair in the terms |
| Labs | No lab price established on this listing | “full lab work”; “Comprehensive lab testing” | Homepage says lab panels are billed separately when needed; Terms also say labs are separate |
| Shipping | “2nd-day shipping included” | Says medication ships from a partner pharmacy in 3–5 days | Terms bill shipping per medication order |
| HSA/FSA | Not established on this listing | Says treatments and lab services are eligible | Separate Terms and Conditions allow eligible HSA/FSA payment but do not guarantee reimbursement |
These public pages were inspected on September 30, 2026. We did not complete checkout or obtain a private quote. We could not establish which price and inclusion combination governs a particular new order. 5
What this means: the page you land on may not match the bill you get. We did not establish why the pages differ or a dated sequence showing that one offer replaced the other.
Which IAM price should you trust?
Get a dated written quote and the terms that apply to that order before paying. IAM's Terms say labs and shipping are billed separately; we could not find the applicable amounts in the public pages we could inspect. A $260 package listing alone does not settle your total. 4
IAM also links to a men's program page at /trt-for-men, but we could not retrieve its contents during this check. We are not treating it as a verified checkout price or assuming that it resolves the disagreement.
Did IAM's price go up or down?
We found a $20 difference per course between the two price lists, not proof of a dated price cut. The $280 listing includes shipping; the $260 listing must be read alongside terms that bill shipping separately. 2, 1, 4
If all other charges and services were the same, one shipping charge above $20 would erase that $20 package-price difference. That is a conditional comparison, not a verified saving or increase. Existing patients should compare the complete new quote with their last invoice, including labs, shipping, supply and billing period.
What would labs cost you?
We don't know IAM's lab price, and we won't guess it. A retail testosterone test is not automatically the panel IAM requires, and a price from another seller is not evidence of what IAM will charge.
Use this lab-cost checklist rather than treating one retail panel as your whole testing budget:
| Testing cost | What to get in writing |
|---|---|
| Initial evaluation | Tests ordered, blood-draw location, total charge and any clinician-review fee |
| Repeat morning testosterone test | Whether another draw is required, whether outside results are accepted and who pays |
| Invalid or insufficient sample | Whether a repeat is covered; IAM's terms say it generally is, but not always |
| Monitoring after treatment begins | Which tests, how often, and which results trigger another visit or test |
| Outside lab results | Required recency, acceptable tests and any review fee |
Repeating an invalid sample is not the same as a second test to confirm the diagnosis. IAM's sample-replacement wording does not prove that diagnostic repeat testing is free. 5, 11
Quick definitions. Total testosterone is all the testosterone in your blood. Free testosterone is the part not attached to proteins. SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin) is a protein that carries testosterone; changes in it can affect how a clinician interprets total testosterone. 13
A testosterone-only panel doesn't cover everything TRT monitoring needs. Guidelines also call for checking hematocrit, the share of your blood made of red blood cells, because testosterone can push it too high. Whether to check PSA (prostate-specific antigen), and when, depends on age, risk, the clinical guideline being followed and discussion with the patient. Ask for the complete monitoring plan, not just a testosterone-test price. 11, 13
If IAM does bill a panel you never use, its Terms say that panel is “refunded or credited toward treatment.” Ask how to request that refund or credit; we did not test the process. 4
Is IAM's Complete plan worth $100 more?
Complete costs $100 more per 10-week course than Essential, which is $520 more over 52 weeks. The added medicine listed is gonadorelin, but no TRT plan can promise to protect your fertility. Treat that $520 as a question for your provider, not a guarantee. 1, 14
Here's the honest picture.
What gonadorelin is for. Testosterone from outside your body can reduce the brain and pituitary signals that support testicular function. That can shrink sperm production (the medical word is spermatogenesis). GnRH acts through the pituitary to stimulate hormone signals, but that does not establish that the gonadorelin regimen in a TRT package will prevent sperm suppression. 14
What the guidelines say. The Endocrine Society recommends against testosterone therapy for men planning fertility in the near term. The AUA/ASRM male-infertility guideline says testosterone monotherapy should not be prescribed to men interested in current or future fertility. For infertile men with low testosterone, it conditionally lists hCG, selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs), or aromatase inhibitors as options clinicians may use; that is not a recommendation for routine gonadorelin add-ons during TRT. 11, 14
These options are not all approved for the same uses. For example, clomiphene is FDA-approved for certain female fertility treatment, not for use in men; enclomiphene is not FDA-approved for any use. Neither is testosterone replacement. 16
What IAM doesn't say. The public plan information we could inspect does not establish the exact gonadorelin preparation or its approval status. IAM's Terms say its compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Ask which preparation is proposed and what evidence supports that use. 4
Complete is the more expensive plan. Whether it's worth it depends on whether you and your provider decide you need gonadorelin. In the six-payment cash example, the extra cost is $600, rather than the $520 annualized difference.
Trying to have a baby in the next year? Don't choose between Essential and Complete yet. Start with a urologist or reproductive urologist, a doctor who specializes in male fertility. Testosterone therapy can lower sperm counts, and no add-on can promise to prevent that. 11, 14
Is IAMHRT cheaper than other online TRT programs?
IAM's $1,352 Essential figure is an annualized package amount, not a verified lowest complete first-year price. The answer depends on lab and shipping charges, the actual payment schedule, and what another quote includes. Comparing an annualized amount with someone else's cash bill can reverse the apparent saving.
This is where the IAMHRT cost question gets real. Use the same basis for every program:
| Comparison basis | IAM Essential | IAM Complete | Illustrative bundled quote at $129/month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annualized package comparison | $1,352 | $1,872 | $1,548 for 12 monthly payments |
| Illustrative cash paid during the first year | $1,560 with six advance payments | $2,160 with six advance payments | $1,548 with 12 monthly payments |
| Initial and follow-up labs | Separate under IAM's Terms; exact amount unresolved | Separate under IAM's Terms; exact amount unresolved | Assumed included only for this example |
| Shipping | Separate under IAM's Terms; shipment count unresolved | Separate under IAM's Terms; shipment count unresolved | Assumed included only for this example |
| Membership | IAM says none | IAM says none | Assumed already included in the example price |
| Complete quote verified here? | No | No | No—this is a budgeting example, not a provider offer |
IAM inputs come from its public men's page and Terms. The $129 monthly figure is an explicit scenario used to show the comparison error; it is not presented as Henry Meds' or any other provider's verified current all-in price. 1, 4
The $196 question
Put IAM Essential and the $129/month example side by side:
- Annualized view: $1,548 − $1,352 = $196 before IAM's extras.
- Six-payment cash view: $1,560 − $1,548 = $12 more for IAM, before any extras.
The $196 figure is not a first-year spending allowance for six shipments and all your labs. It is only the difference between an annualized package figure and the example's 12 monthly payments. To compare money leaving your bank account, use actual payment dates and every required charge for both quotes.
That's why the seven questions below matter more than any ranking.
Where IAM has a clear pricing distinction
No membership. IAM's Terms say there are no monthly memberships and that labs and pharmacy shipping are billed separately. That is a pricing structure, not proof that the final bill is lower than a membership program's bill. 4
Where IAM may not be the cheaper option
If you'd rather have required labs and shipping in one written quote, a bundled program may be simpler. A package called “all-in” still needs to identify its limits, extra tests and refund terms.
For comparisons with Henry Meds, Hone Health, Male Excel or Taurus Meds, use a fresh quote rather than carrying an old yearly total forward. We did not establish current complete first-year prices for those providers in this check, so none is named the cost winner here. Our TRT cost guide gives you the broader comparison framework.
And if you want an FDA-approved testosterone product through insurance, no cash-pay compounded program is the right tool. See the insurance section below; the exact prescribed product and your plan's coverage must be checked separately. 18
What's the catch with IAMHRT cost?
IAM's public package prices do not establish one complete, all-in total. We could not verify its lab and shipping amounts, and its pages disagree on whether those charges are included. A written quote can resolve the budget gap, but it does not by itself establish clinical fit or product quality. 1, 2, 4
Here's the trade-off, straight.
IAM does not give you a complete bill in the public package listing we could verify. If one fixed number is your top priority, look for a quote that actually includes your required medication, tests, visits and shipping—not just a membership with medication billed on top.
But because IAM says it has no monthly membership, there is no separate monthly membership charge to add to those package figures. For a man who's already been diagnosed and is comfortable comparing itemized quotes, that structure may be worth investigating. It is not evidence that membership charges elsewhere are unnecessary or that this model caused IAM's price to be low. 4
The fix is simple: get the missing numbers in writing before your first order. That resolves the pricing uncertainty if the answer is complete. The exact prescription, assigned clinician, pharmacy, renewal terms and separate catalog concern below still deserve attention.
If the unbundled model works for you: Ask IAM for an itemized quote, with your seven questions ready →
If you want labs and shipping inside one written total: Compare the cost items every TRT quote should cover → A testing-inclusive membership is not automatically a medication-inclusive price.
What should you ask IAM before you pay?
Ask IAM for a dated, itemized quote covering your lab panel price and schedule, shipping per order, the exact medicine and pharmacy, billing timing, and exit terms. Getting these questions answered in writing turns the $260 or $360 sticker into a usable budget. Leave unanswered required charges marked unknown, not free.
Here are the seven that decide your total:
- How much is my lab panel, and what's in it? Ask about testosterone, blood count and any prostate testing appropriate for you.
- How many lab panels will I need in my first year? Separate initial evaluation, repeat confirmation and follow-up monitoring.
- What's the shipping charge per order? Also ask how many separate shipments your plan requires.
- Is the testosterone you send compounded or an FDA-approved product, and which pharmacy fills it? Request the exact product, strength, quantity, and the pharmacy's full name and address.
- Does my prescribed dose change my price or refill timing?
- Do refills ship automatically, and how do I stop them? Get the deadline before dispensing or shipment and the applicable refund terms.
- Can I use recent labs from my own doctor?
Copy-and-send quote request
Before I pay, please send a dated, itemized quote for the IAM men's testosterone program available to me. Please confirm: the program name and price; what's due before a provider decides whether treatment is right for me; how often I'll be billed and whether it renews automatically; the medicine, supplies, visits, and support included; every lab charge (first panel, any repeat test, and follow-up monitoring) and how often each is needed; the shipping charge per order; the exact medication, whether it is compounded or FDA-approved, and the dispensing pharmacy; whether you can serve my state and whether any in-person visit is required; and your cancellation, refund, refill, and medical-record transfer terms. Which charges would I still owe if treatment isn't prescribed or I leave?
Use IAM's contact page for its published contact options. We did not test response times. Don't send us your health information. We're a publisher, not a clinic.
Build your real number
Once IAM answers, use the worksheet below:
| Cost line | Essential | Complete |
|---|---|---|
| Package payments inside your first year | Number of actual charges × quoted price; $1,560 only in the six-payment example | Number of actual charges × quoted price; $2,160 only in the six-payment example |
| Initial evaluation and repeat confirmation | Add confirmed charges not already included | Add confirmed charges not already included |
| Follow-up lab panels and visits | Number × quoted charge, unless included | Number × quoted charge, unless included |
| Shipping | Actual shipment count × quoted charge | Actual shipment count × quoted charge |
| Other mandatory medication, service or records fees | Add only applicable charges not already counted | Add only applicable charges not already counted |
| Your first-year total | Add confirmed costs; keep unresolved charges separate | Add confirmed costs; keep unresolved charges separate |
An unknown required cost is not $0. Do not add a service again if the package already includes it. A payment for time beyond your first year still belongs in first-year cash outlay if it leaves your account during that year.
Compare the result with a complete quote from another program using the same time window. Our TRT cost calculator is another budgeting resource; no calculator can fill a missing provider charge without an assumption.
Does IAMHRT take insurance, HSA, or FSA?
IAM's September 10, 2026 Terms and Conditions say it does not accept commercial insurance and is not enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid. They allow an HSA or FSA card for eligible payments but do not guarantee reimbursement. Insurance coverage and tax-advantaged account eligibility are different questions. 5
Insurance. Do not budget on IAM billing your insurer. For an insurance-based care route, start with a primary care doctor, urologist, or endocrinologist in your plan's network, and check coverage for the evaluation, tests and exact prescribed product. Neither a clinician's participation nor a prescription guarantees coverage of every service or medicine.
HSA and FSA. IAM's men's page says its treatments and lab services are HSA and FSA eligible. That's IAM's statement, not a determination that every charge qualifies. The IRS rules for these accounts are in Publication 969. Ask IAM for itemized receipts that show the service, the date, and the amount. Check the required documentation with your account administrator. 1, 5, 24
Can you cancel IAM or get a refund?
IAM says there's no monthly membership, but that does not establish how future medication orders are stopped. Its two terms documents set different refund cutoffs: one uses shipment, the other dispensing. Get the terms for your order before authorizing it, and do not assume you can wait until shipping to cancel. 4, 5
Here's what IAM's Terms of Use and separate Terms and Conditions say:
| Situation | What the published terms say |
|---|---|
| Monthly membership | The shorter Terms of Use say there are no monthly memberships |
| Medication charge before approval | The shorter terms say no medication charge until a provider approves a plan; this is not a promise that every other service is free |
| Cancelling after shipment | The shorter terms say medication orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch |
| Refund after shipment | The shorter terms state an exception for faulty or inaccurately described items |
| Refund after dispensing | The September 10 Terms and Conditions say prescriptions cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed; they do not spell out the same exception |
| Unused paid lab panel | The shorter terms say refunded or credited toward treatment |
| Automatic refills and minimum commitment | We did not verify the complete applicable schedule, commitment or stop-order deadline |
| Prescription | Requesting care does not guarantee a prescription |
Dispensing and shipping are not the same event. These are descriptions of the published terms, not a ruling about which document controls or what legal remedies you may have.
What this means for you: confirm how future orders are authorized, when a charge becomes nonrefundable, and how to stop the next order before that deadline. That's question 6 on your list. Having no membership does not prove there is no recurring order authorization.
What about medical records if you leave?
IAM's privacy policy says you can request a copy of records it holds. We did not verify its transfer fees, turnaround time, or the exact process for obtaining visit notes, lab results and prescription history. Ask before leaving so your next clinician can review the records; this is not a guarantee of an uninterrupted refill. 9
How much do IAM's other testosterone options cost?
IAM's catalog also lists testosterone cream, troches and capsules, plus enclomiphene as a separate non-testosterone option. We could not verify current price-and-supply details for those program pages during this check. Get the price, quantity, expected supply period and exact preparation in writing before comparing monthly costs. 7
| IAM option | What the catalog establishes | What your quote still needs |
|---|---|---|
| Testosterone cream | A topical testosterone listing | Jar quantity, strength, price, expected supply period and whether compounded |
| Testosterone troches | A dissolvable testosterone listing | Count, strength, price, expected supply period and whether compounded |
| Testosterone capsules | An oral testosterone listing | Exact product, count, strength, price, expected supply period and FDA-approved versus compounded status |
| Enclomiphene | A separate medication listing; not testosterone | Exact preparation, capsule count, strength, price and expected supply period |
A cream, troche or capsule listing is not enough to identify an FDA-approved product. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved. Ask about labs, shipping and follow-up charges for the specific format rather than assuming the injection-plan terms apply. 18, 4
Ask IAM how long one supply lasts at your prescribed dose. That turns these into monthly costs you can compare.
Enclomiphene is not TRT
Enclomiphene is a medicine that can increase the hormone signals involved in making testosterone within the body. It isn't testosterone. It is not FDA-approved for any use; that is different from using an FDA-approved drug such as clomiphene off-label in men. 16, 17
Its effect depends on the cause of low testosterone. It is not an interchangeable replacement for treatment of testicular failure, and no medicine can promise to protect fertility. If fertility is your main concern, a urologist or reproductive urologist is the right starting point. 14, 17
If you're in the military or a tested athlete, check the rules before using these medicines. Operation Supplement Safety lists clomiphene and enclomiphene on the DoD Prohibited Dietary Supplement Ingredients List and under WADA's hormone-modulator category. That does not by itself answer whether a prescribed medicine is permitted in your situation: the military resource directs service members to their military healthcare provider for service-specific rules. 16
Looking for women's pricing?
IAM runs a separate women's program. Its women's page lists testosterone at $175 per 10 weeks. That program has different care needs, and this guide's detailed budget covers men only. The men's package contents and medical guidance should not be applied to women. 8
Is IAM legit? What could we verify?
IAM has an active public website and says it has provided online care since 2020, serves 48 states except Alaska and Hawaii, and uses Labcorp and Quest. Its terms name “1st Choice” as a pharmacy, but we did not independently confirm the exact pharmacy or clinician assigned to a patient. A price listing or review score is not proof of licensing, prescribing quality or product safety. 6, 5
What IAM states about itself (About page):
- Seeing patients online since 2020
- Serves 48 states; not Alaska or Hawaii
- Blood draws through Labcorp and Quest
- A licensed provider reviews the request for care before prescribing
- Prescriptions are dispensed by licensed U.S. pharmacies
These are provider statements, not a completed license audit. Confirm your clinician's full name and the pharmacy's legal name, address and license before paying. “1st Choice” alone was not enough to match a particular pharmacy record with confidence. 5
What customers have said. IAM's Trustpilot profile shows 34 reviews and a 4.7 TrustScore. Visible reviews include praise for staff responsiveness, listening and shipping. But the profile showed no reviews in the past 12 months, and the newest displayed review was January 5, 2024. These are historical service reports, not current price verification or typical medical results. Old reviews can't tell you what you'll pay now. 10
What we couldn't confirm: the names and licenses of the clinicians who would treat a new patient, the full identity and license of that patient's dispensing pharmacy, and the legal business address for the party providing care. The two terms pages also describe the medical-service arrangement differently—one says IAM Health's clinicians provide care, while the other describes independent medical groups. Ask who is responsible for your actual care and records. 4, 5
A separate catalog concern worth knowing before you pay
IAM's treatment catalog lists retatrutide, which is not testosterone. FDA says retatrutide cannot be used in compounding under federal law and is not a component of an FDA-approved drug. That is a material concern to clarify with IAM, not a detail a low package price resolves. 7, 19
The listing does not establish that IAM dispensed it to anyone, that FDA took action against IAM, or that IAM's testosterone prescriptions are unlawful. We are identifying the catalog listing and the FDA statement separately—not treating one as proof of the other.
The legal side of online TRT
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance in the United States and requires a valid prescription. The current temporary federal rule permits qualifying DEA-registered practitioners to prescribe Schedule II–V controlled medicines through an audio-video telemedicine encounter without a prior in-person medical evaluation, subject to the rule's conditions and other applicable law. It runs through December 31, 2026. 21, 22
That is not a guarantee that IAM can prescribe for you remotely. Clinicians must have the required authority where the patient is located, and state rules or clinical needs may require an in-person visit. Recheck the rules for your appointment date, especially for care after December 31, 2026. 23
What should you confirm about diagnosis, fertility and monitoring before paying?
Low testosterone should be diagnosed from symptoms or signs plus consistently low, accurately measured results, with appropriate repeat early-morning testing—not from one number or a quiz. Fertility plans and safety monitoring can change both the care you need and the bill. Settle those before treating a package price as your full plan. 11, 12
Price matters. These things matter more.
1. Make sure low testosterone is confirmed. In a July 16, 2026 statement, the Endocrine Society said diagnosis needs both symptoms and consistently low blood levels. It calls for at least two early-morning, fasting tests. It stresses accurate, standardized assays and explains why CDC-certified assays improve consistency. A common threshold near 300 ng/dL is not a universal diagnosis. One low number is not a diagnosis. Hypogonadism is the clinical condition being evaluated, not simply the name for a low laboratory range. 12
2. Settle your fertility plans before you start. Testosterone from outside your body can lower sperm production. The Endocrine Society advises against testosterone therapy when near-term fertility is planned. Neither an added medicine nor stopping treatment later guarantees fertility or recovery on a set schedule. 11, 14
3. Know what monitoring you'll pay for. The Endocrine Society guideline calls for baseline hematocrit and follow-up monitoring, including testosterone and hematocrit checks around 3–6 months, at 12 months and annually thereafter, with changes based on the patient and treatment. Prostate assessment and monitoring depend on age, risk and an informed discussion. This is why IAM's lab price shapes your real yearly cost. It is not just one test before enrollment. 13
4. Know what safety findings do—and don't—establish. FDA's current testosterone information page reports that TRAVERSE did not show a meaningful difference in major cardiovascular events between its testosterone-gel and placebo groups. That does not make all testosterone products or all patients risk-free. The Endocrine Society's July 2026 statement still calls for careful risk assessment and monitoring and says long-term safety remains uncertain. 20, 12
FDA also requested additional prescribing-information changes in June 2026 concerning age-related hypogonadism language and prostate-related safety information. A requested label change is not proof that every product's label has already changed or that treatment is right for an individual. Ask the prescriber and pharmacist to review the current warnings, including blood-pressure concerns, for the exact product proposed. 20
5. Know what “compounded” means. An FDA-approved drug has been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, and how it's made. A compounded preparation has not gone through that approval review. IAM says the compounded medicines it uses are not FDA-approved; the public plan material we could inspect does not identify the approval status of every proposed prescription. Ask. Compounded does not mean the same as an FDA-approved generic. 18, 4
A history of prostate or breast cancer, high hematocrit, untreated severe sleep apnea, recent major cardiovascular events, or suspected pituitary or testicular disease needs clinical assessment—not a cheaper package or a questionnaire that promises clearance. 11

Who should consider IAM, and who should choose another care route?
IAM is a cash-pay option to investigate after proper evaluation, not a verified cheapest or safest choice. Keep considering it only after the complete quote, medication details, clinician and pharmacy identities, and applicable terms are clear. A different care route makes more sense when insurance, fertility, unresolved diagnosis or other clinical needs come first.
| If this sounds like you… | Your next step | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Low T properly evaluated, want injections, fine checking add-ons | Request IAM Essential's complete quote | About $113/month annualized package equivalent, not an all-in bill |
| Your clinician has proposed gonadorelin | Discuss the evidence and quote for Complete | $520 more annualized, or $600 more in the six-payment example; no fertility guarantee |
| Want required labs and shipping inside the price | Compare itemized bundled quotes | Included testing alone does not establish a complete total |
| Prefer a managed membership with regular check-ins | Compare the actual visit and monitoring commitments | A membership fee is not proof of the amount of clinician access |
| Trying to conceive soon, or future fertility is a major concern | Urologist or reproductive urologist | Fertility planning comes before a TRT package |
| Haven't had appropriate repeat morning testing | Primary care, urology or endocrinology evaluation | Diagnosis before treatment |
| Want insurance to pay | An in-network clinician and your insurer | IAM says it does not accept commercial insurance or participate in Medicare or Medicaid |
| Live in Alaska or Hawaii | A clinician authorized to care for you there | IAM excludes these states in its published terms |
| Cannot get clear clinician, product, pharmacy or policy answers | Pause payment and compare another care option | Price does not resolve those unknowns |
These are editorial next-step judgments based on the published costs and limitations above, not findings that any person qualifies for treatment. 1, 5, 11, 14
Does the first row sound like you? Check IAM's published plans before requesting your quote → A request for care isn't a guarantee of a prescription. A clinician makes that decision after the appropriate evaluation. 4

What else should you know about IAMHRT cost?
The main distinction is between a listed package price and your full bill. The answers below summarize the remaining price, policy and supply questions without treating an estimate as an invoice or an old review as current evidence.
How much does IAMHRT cost per month?
About $112.67 a month for Essential and $156.00 for Complete, when you spread the $260 and $360 ten-week prices across a standardized 52-week year. These are budgeting figures, not verified monthly charges. IAM's Terms bill labs and shipping separately. 1, 4
Is the IAM consultation free?
IAM's About page advertises $0 video consultations. That doesn't mean a prescription is guaranteed or that ordered labs are free. 6, 4
Does IAM charge a membership fee?
IAM's Terms say there are no monthly memberships. Ask separately about payment timing and automatic medication orders. 4
Are labs included with IAMHRT?
IAM's pages disagree. One men's page mentions “full lab work.” The homepage and Terms say lab panels are billed separately. Ask for your lab price in writing. 1, 3, 4
Is a second testosterone test included?
We did not verify whether the charge for repeat diagnostic testing is included. IAM's separate wording about replacing an invalid sample does not answer that question. Appropriate repeat early-morning testing is part of establishing the diagnosis. 5, 11
How much is IAM shipping?
We couldn't find the applicable amount in the public pages we could inspect. IAM's Terms say pharmacy shipping is billed per medication order. A separate IAM program page says shipping is included. 4, 2
Why does one IAM page say $280 and another $260?
Two live listings show different offers: $280/$380 with included shipping, and $260/$360 alongside separate-fee terms. We did not establish why they differ or that one replaced the other. Confirm the price and all included charges for your order before paying. 2, 1, 4
What's the difference between IAM Essential and Complete?
The men's page lists gonadorelin as Complete's added medicine for $100 more per 10 weeks. Confirm the exact preparation and included supplies; the package name does not establish a fertility benefit. 1, 14
Is IAM's testosterone compounded?
We could not confirm the exact product a patient would receive. IAM's catalog names testosterone cypionate, and its Terms describe compounded medications as not FDA-approved. Ask which applies to your prescription. 7, 4
Can I cancel IAM?
No monthly membership does not mean future orders stop automatically. Ask how refills are authorized and the deadline for stopping an order. IAM's terms restrict cancellations after shipment, while its other terms make dispensed prescriptions nonrefundable. 4, 5
Does IAM give refunds?
Its shorter Terms of Use allow an exception for faulty or inaccurately described medication and say unused paid labs are refunded or credited. The other terms say prescriptions cannot be refunded once dispensed. Get the applicable terms in writing rather than assuming the more favorable wording applies. 4, 5
Does IAM take insurance?
IAM's Terms and Conditions say it does not accept commercial insurance and is not enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid. Eligible HSA/FSA payment is a separate question and is not a reimbursement guarantee. 5
Which states does IAM serve?
IAM says 48 states, all except Alaska and Hawaii. Confirm availability for your location, prescription and assigned clinician before paying; we did not verify every state's prescribing requirements or individual provider licenses. 6, 5
How long does IAM shipping take?
IAM's men's page says medication ships from a partner pharmacy in 3 to 5 days with tracking. That is a provider-stated shipping estimate, not a verified delivery deadline or guarantee against refill gaps. 1
How much is IAM enclomiphene?
IAM lists enclomiphene in its catalog, but we could not verify its current price-and-supply options during this check. Request a written quote. Enclomiphene is not testosterone and is not FDA-approved for any use. 7, 16
How much is IAM testosterone cream?
IAM lists a cream, but we could not verify a current jar price, strength and supply period together. Ask for all three before calculating a monthly cost, and confirm whether the proposed preparation is compounded. 7
Is this page a review of IAM?
No. It's a cost guide built from IAM's public pages and official sources. We didn't enroll or receive care.
How did we price IAM?
We inspected IAM's accessible public pricing, terms and program pages on September 30, 2026, and converted the verified 10-week prices into monthly and yearly equivalents. We kept IAM's conflicting statements visible instead of picking one. The model separates published package prices, calculated examples and unresolved charges.
Our method follows How We Review TRT Providers. It separates four kinds of information:
- Verified observations and calculations: what the inspected pages actually say and the arithmetic shown here—not proof that a clinic delivered the advertised care.
- Provider-stated facts: what IAM says about itself that we couldn't independently confirm, like states served and labs used. The same distinction applies to its service and policy promises.
- Customer-experience signals: attributable reviews, which cannot establish current costs, prescribing safety or typical results.
- Editorial judgments: our conclusions, like "who IAM fits," based on the facts above.
Our math: 52-week package equivalent = price × 5.2. Monthly equivalent = that amount ÷ 12. The first-year cash example uses six advance payments at weeks 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50. An actual first-year total must use your billing dates and all required extras; a missing charge stays unknown.
We did not enroll, contact support, complete checkout, test cancellation, verify individual licenses or obtain a private quote. We could not retrieve some program-specific pages, so this article does not claim to verify their detailed supply prices. The $129/month bundled comparison is illustrative, not an independently checked competitor offer.
Sources and prices can change. Confirm the quote and terms before paying, and check the prescribing rules for your appointment date. Spot something out of date? Tell us on our corrections page.
