IAMHRT reviews show favorable but dated Trustpilot feedback, not proof of today’s care. IAM advertises TRT from $260 per 10 weeks, but conflicting price and lab disclosures prevent a verified full-year total. It is a cash-pay option to investigate after proper evaluation—not a clear fit for insurance, near-term fertility, or buyers needing confirmed product details. 1, 2, 3, 9

Our verdict in 20 seconds

IAM has an active website and a low advertised program price—not a verified lowest total cost. IAM says it began online care in 2020, charges no monthly membership fee, and offers $0 video consults. We wouldn't pay blind, though. The pages we could verify do not identify the exact testosterone product you would receive, and IAM's catalog lists retatrutide, which FDA says cannot be used in compounding under federal law. 3, 5, 6, 12

One question is about where your testosterone comes from. The other isn't about testosterone at all. Both are below, with the year-one math, the terms most people miss, and a plain answer on who should skip IAM.

Get the product, clinician, lab, price, and pharmacy details in writing. Clear answers are a reason to keep evaluating IAM, not proof that the care is safe or right for you.

✅ Best for further consideration if you:

  • Have had symptoms or signs and consistently low testosterone properly evaluated, including repeat early-morning testing
  • Want injections and cash pay
  • Care most about total cost
  • Are willing to resolve the unanswered questions before paying

❌ Not for you if you:

These are fit judgments based on IAM's stated care model and medical guidance, not findings that any individual qualifies for treatment. 3, 4, 5, 14, 15

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated. We are not a clinic, pharmacy, lab, insurer, or medical practice.

What we actually verified (September 30, 2026) Checked: IAM's homepage, men's page, separate TRT program page, catalog, about page, contact page, and both terms documents; Trustpilot and the linked Reddit discussions; FDA, DEA, and Endocrine Society sources; and the cited pricing and policy pages for Male Excel, Taurus Meds, and Hone Health. Confirmed as published: the conflicting prices and lab disclosures, no-monthly-membership claim, $0-consult claim, insurance and state statements, refund wording, the pharmacy name in one terms document, and the retatrutide listing. Provider-stated only: clinical review before prescribing, clinician and pharmacy licensing, state coverage, included services, and delivery estimates. We did not independently confirm that a particular clinician or pharmacy could serve a particular patient. Could not confirm: your prescriber and treating medical group, exact testosterone product, dispensing pharmacy's full identity and license, full first-year quote, repeat-test charges, current response speed, or complete refill and records-transfer process. Some program-specific pages could not be retrieved, so their detailed prices and supply sizes are not treated as verified here. Not done: we did not buy a plan, open an account, speak with support, check out, or test medication.

How we make money: Male Excel and Taurus Meds are affiliate partners; TRT Provider Guide also lists Hone Health as a commercial partner. What do IAMHRT reviews actually say?

IAMHRT reviews on Trustpilot are positive and mostly describe service: replies, shipping, and price. The profile displays a 4.7 TrustScore from 34 reviews, with January 5, 2024 as the newest displayed review date. Those accounts do not establish how IAM performs today. 9

Here's the review picture in one table.

Comparison table: What do IAMHRT reviews actually say?
Review source What is available Date boundary What it can help you assess
Trustpilot 4.7 TrustScore; 34 reviews; 100% shown as five-star Newest displayed review Jan 5, 2024; zero in the last 12 months Historical service experiences, not present-day clinical quality
Reddit contact discussion One poster described difficulty making contact, then updated the post after arranging an appointment 2025 discussion A question to ask about current support access—not a measured complaint rate
Reddit IAMHRT discussion A women's-care discussion includes questions about formulations and a later positive consultation report 2026 discussion More recent but unverified personal experience; not evidence for men's TRT outcomes

We did not combine review-site scores or count forum comments as verified patients. 9, 10, 11

What reviewers like

The same four things come up over and over:

  • Fast answers. One reviewer summed it up: "Great at responding to questions." (Sean Goodwin, Trustpilot, updated January 2, 2024; experience dated December 31, 2023)
  • Fast shipping. Several people say medication arrived within a couple of days of shipping.
  • Fair price. Reviewers who came from other clinics call IAM's pricing reasonable.
  • A real person. Many reviews name the same staff member, "Emil," as their go-to contact.

Those are useful service signals. They do not prove a practice has no problems: some reviewers describe issues that staff resolved, and the forum discussion below raised a contact problem. We did not measure IAM's current response or refill times. 9, 10

What reviews can't tell you

Reviews are one person's experience. They can't prove a clinic's medical quality, your results, or today's policies.

Three things limit what IAM's reviews can tell you in 2026:

  1. They're old. The newest displayed Trustpilot review is from January 2024. Ask how things work now.
  2. They're small. There are only 34 reviews. Trustpilot reports no recent history of invitations and warns that reviews may not be representative. The sample cannot tell us how most current patients experience IAM.
  3. They're all five stars. Every one of IAM's visible Trustpilot reviews is 5 stars. We found no one- or two-star reviews to learn from. 9

One more data point. A Reddit user asked whether IAM was hard to reach, then later reported getting through and booking an appointment. That's one person's story, not a pattern, but it's the right question to ask about any small clinic.

We only quote reviews about service. Reviews that describe health results aren't evidence that TRT will work for you. A clinician's evaluation and appropriate testing can guide a decision, but neither guarantees a result. Trustpilot labels the quoted review unprompted; we did not independently verify the reviewer's relationship with IAM. 9, 15

Is IAMHRT legit?

IAM has an active public website, written terms, and attributable older customer reviews. That does not independently establish the identity or license of your treating clinician or dispensing pharmacy. The unresolved product details and retatrutide listing deserve answers before payment. 3, 4, 6, 9, 12

Who is IAM?

IAM goes by a few names, which confuses people. The names IAMHRT, IAM Clinic, and IAM Health appear in connection with the same website. That is a branding connection, not proof of the legal identity of the medical group that would treat you. 1, 3, 5, 9

Comparison table: Who is IAM?
Name you might see Where it appears
IAM Health Current about page and terms
IAM Clinic Men's program page and older brand references
IAMHRT The website domain and customer discussions

IAM's contact page lists phone 224-304-4004. Its about page describes care through video visits and portal messages, with no in-person appointments. We did not confirm a current walk-in clinic address. 5, 7

IAM's terms-and-conditions page, dated September 10, 2026, describes a service that connects patients with independent providers, medical groups, labs, and pharmacies. Its separate terms page and about page instead describe IAM Health clinicians as providing care and operating the platform. Ask who the treating medical group is and which terms apply to your care. The company you pay and the clinician responsible for treatment are not details to leave unclear. 3, 4, 5

What checks out

  • An online history. IAM says it began online care in 2020, and the Trustpilot profile includes reviews from that year. 5, 9
  • Published program prices. The $260 and $360 offers are visible, but a separate page still lists $280 and $380. 1, 2
  • A named pharmacy reference. One terms document names 1st Choice as a pharmacy partner. That is IAM's statement, not an independent license check or confirmation that this pharmacy would fill your order. 4
  • Written money rules. IAM's terms address memberships, insurance, dispensing, and refunds. The wording is not identical across its two terms pages. 3, 4
  • A compounding disclosure. IAM's footer says the compounded medications it uses are not FDA-approved. That disclosure does not establish whether a particular testosterone prescription would be compounded. 8

What we couldn't verify

  • Your prescriber. We could not establish the clinician or medical group that would treat you from the pages we could read. Ask for the full name and state license before paying so you can check a license.
  • Your testosterone's status. IAM's catalog lists testosterone cypionate, but we could not establish the exact manufacturer or compounded preparation for your prescription. 6
  • Lab and shipping prices. We could not confirm your required charges. The men's page says full lab work is included, while the homepage and terms say panels are billed separately. 1, 3, 8
  • Current support speed. The displayed Trustpilot reviews are from 2024 or earlier, and we did not time a support request. 9

The retatrutide question

This one matters even though it's not about testosterone.

IAM's public catalog lists retatrutide. The FDA says retatrutide isn't part of any FDA-approved drug and cannot be used in compounding under federal law (FDA page current as of September 1, 2026). 6, 12

We did not try to buy it, and we don't know what, if anything, IAM actually dispenses. The concern is the service's published drug offering—not proof that your testosterone or any prescription was unlawfully dispensed. Ask IAM to explain the listing, and ask exactly which pharmacy will fill your prescription. A vague answer is a reason not to pay. A clear answer still needs to match the product and pharmacy records.

Before you go further, one honest note. The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.

How much does IAMHRT cost?

IAM's men's page advertises $260 per 10 weeks for Essential and $360 for Complete; another page lists $280 and $380. The lower prices equal $1,352 or $1,872 for 52 advertised weeks, but that is not a complete first-year bill. Lab inclusion, shipping, the applicable offer, and actual payment dates need confirmation. 1, 2, 3, 8

Let's get the payment limit out of the way first.

IAM does not offer a general change-of-mind refund after medication is dispensed or shipped. One terms page allows exceptions for faulty or misdescribed items; the other states that dispensed prescriptions cannot be returned or refunded. Taurus's 90-day promise also excludes lab and pharmacy fees, so it is not a medication-refund safety net. 3, 4, 25, 26

IAM's no-monthly-membership policy is still a useful cost feature. It does not prove IAM has the lowest full cost, or explain why the provider set its price. Settle the complete quote and refund terms before you commit.

IAM's TRT plans

Comparison table: IAM's TRT plans
Plan Advertised price What IAM's readable plan pages list
Essential $260 / 10 weeks Testosterone injections, supplies, consultation, program adjustments, portal messaging, and anastrozole
Complete $360 / 10 weeks The core program plus gonadorelin, a mixing kit, and extra supplies
Shipping Offer-dependent Separate billing in the terms; second-day shipping included on the $280 / $380 page
Lab panels Conflicting disclosures The men's page says full lab work is included; the homepage and terms say lab panels are billed separately

Sources: IAM men's page, separate TRT program page, homepage, and terms, checked September 30, 2026. Listed drugs are not a recommendation that every patient needs them. We did not verify the exact concentration, vial size, or supply duration for an individual prescription. 1, 2, 3, 8

The year-one math IAM doesn't show you

IAM prices by the 10-week course, not by the month. So we did the math on a 52-week basis.

Formula: price × 52 ÷ 10 = the price of 5.2 advertised 10-week courses.

Comparison table: The year-one math IAM doesn't show you
Plan Per advertised course 52-week program equivalent Monthly equivalent
Essential $260 $1,352 ~$113
Complete $360 $1,872 ~$156

That's not your full bill. Confirm which lab panels and shipping charges apply, including any second diagnostic test and follow-up testing. We couldn't confirm those amounts, so ask for them in writing. Unknown charges are not zero.

One more thing changes the total. How long a course lasts depends on what your clinician prescribes. So ask IAM, "How many courses should I budget for in a year?" You also need the payment dates, supply limits, and separate charges before this becomes a usable budget.

A 52-week equivalent is not the same as first-year cash paid

Suppose a provider charges the full course price in advance at weeks 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. That would mean six payments, not 5.2. This is an illustration, not IAM's verified billing schedule.

Comparison table: A 52-week equivalent is not the same as first-year cash paid
Advertised course price 52-week program equivalent Six-full-payment illustration
$260 $1,352 $1,560
$280 $1,456 $1,680
$360 $1,872 $2,160
$380 $1,976 $2,280

The six-payment illustration covers 60 advertised weeks, including eight weeks beyond the 52-week comparison period. It assumes unchanged prices, a full charge each time, and no proration. The $260 and $360 monthly equivalents are about $112.67 and $156, not monthly subscription prices. 1, 2

Your complete first-year budget = actual program payments due + required diagnostic and repeat tests + monitoring labs + any separately billed visits or medication + shipping and supplies not included. Ask whether the quoted price is introductory, what renewals cost, and whether future orders renew automatically. Do not count a possible refund as guaranteed savings.

Heads-up: IAM shows two different prices

IAM has a separate TRT page that's still live. It shows different numbers; we could not establish which offer would apply to a new patient.

Comparison table: Heads-up: IAM shows two different prices
IAM page Plan names Price Shipping
Men's page Essential / Complete $260 / $360 per 10 weeks Terms say pharmacy shipping is billed separately
Separate TRT program page TRT Core / TRT Complete $280 / $380 per 10 weeks Says 2nd-day shipping included

On a 52-week basis, the separate page's prices work out to $1,456 (Core) and $1,976 (Complete).

We could not establish why the prices differ or that the plans are equivalent. Before you pay, ask which price and plan apply to you, and whether shipping is included. Settle the lab inclusion at the same time. 1, 2, 3, 8

Non-injection testosterone options

IAM also lists other options. We list them for completeness, but could not verify current prices, supply sizes, or supply lengths from the program-specific pages. A catalog listing is not confirmation that a format is available to you. 6

Comparison table: Non-injection testosterone options
Testosterone format listed What to request before comparing costs
Testosterone cream Exact preparation, concentration, container size, supply length, price, and pharmacy
Testosterone troche (a tablet designed to dissolve in the mouth) Exact product, quantity, supply length, price, and whether it is compounded
Testosterone capsule Exact ingredient and product—not just the word “capsule”—plus quantity, supply length, price, and approval status

An oral testosterone capsule is not automatically the same product as an FDA-approved oral testosterone medicine. Ask before comparing them to FDA-approved options. Our TRT without needles guide explains the choices. 6, 13

Enclomiphene is a separate, non-testosterone option

IAM lists enclomiphene in its catalog. It is not testosterone replacement therapy and is not FDA-approved; a current price and supply quote must come from IAM. Its approval status and fertility limits are explained below. 6, 23

Want to see how IAM stacks up against the rest of the market? Our TRT cost guide and TRT cost calculator can help you organize a comparison. Keep an unknown charge unknown until you have a quote.

What testosterone does IAM prescribe, and is it FDA-approved?

IAM's catalog lists testosterone cypionate, but we could not verify the exact product you would receive. IAM discloses that compounded medications are not FDA-approved; that general statement does not tell you whether your own prescription would be an approved product or compounded. Ask for the product and pharmacy details before your first order. 6, 8, 13

FDA-approved vs. compounded, in plain English

  • FDA-approved means the exact product was reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, and quality before it was sold. There are FDA-approved brand and generic testosterone cypionate products; the ingredient name alone does not establish approval of a specific vial. See our list of FDA-approved testosterone products.
  • Compounded means a pharmacy mixed the medication for a patient's prescription. The FDA does not approve compounded drugs or review them for safety and effectiveness before they're used.

These are different things. A compounded product is not a "generic" of an FDA-approved one. So the question to ask is simple: "Is my testosterone an FDA-approved product or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it?"

Testosterone is also a Schedule III controlled substance. It requires a valid prescription from a clinician authorized to prescribe it under applicable federal and state rules. 17, 18 More on that in our guide: Is testosterone a controlled substance?

Why does IAM list anastrozole?

Anastrozole lowers estrogen. IAM lists it in the testosterone packages we could read. A package listing does not mean every patient needs the drug. 1, 2, 24

Anastrozole is FDA-approved for certain breast cancers in postmenopausal women, not as a routine TRT add-on. Using an FDA-approved anastrozole product as part of men's TRT is off-label: outside its approved use. Ask: "What finding would make you prescribe anastrozole for me, what benefit do you expect, and how would you monitor it?" A drug being included in a price is not a reason to take it. 24

Gonadorelin in the Complete plan

The $360 Complete plan adds gonadorelin. That is a separate drug, not testosterone. 1, 2

Here's why the distinction matters. Testosterone therapy can suppress the hormone signals involved in testosterone and sperm production. Adding another drug to a package does not establish that it prevents that effect. 16

We did not verify clinical evidence that IAM's gonadorelin protocol preserves fertility in men on TRT. Treat it as something to discuss with your clinician, not a fertility guarantee. If fertility matters to you, read the fertility section below first.

Blood pressure and the updated testosterone warnings

In February 2025, the FDA announced class-wide labeling changes for testosterone products, including blood-pressure warnings and removal of boxed-warning language about major cardiovascular events. Its announcement followed blood-pressure studies and TRAVERSE, which studied a specific testosterone gel in men with confirmed low testosterone and cardiovascular disease or risk factors—not every patient or treatment format. 19, 20

That doesn't mean testosterone protects your heart. It means blood pressure checks belong in your care plan. Ask IAM how it tracks them. See testosterone and heart risk and TRT side effects.

In June 2026, FDA requested further changes concerning age-related labeling limitations and prostate-related wording. That request does not make testosterone a general anti-aging treatment or remove the need for diagnosis and monitoring. In its July 2026 statement, the Endocrine Society again stressed accurate diagnosis, risk assessment, and the remaining limits of long-term safety evidence. 15, 20

Do you need labs before IAM prescribes TRT?

IAM describes lab ordering through Labcorp or Quest, but its pages disagree about whether panels are included. A new diagnosis requires more than one low result: compatible symptoms or signs plus consistently low testosterone confirmed with repeat early-morning testing. A complete plan also needs baseline safety checks and follow-up monitoring. 1, 3, 4, 5, 14, 15

What the guidelines say

The diagnosis needs evidence, not just a symptom checklist:

  • Symptoms plus low levels. The Endocrine Society says diagnosis needs symptoms or signs and testosterone that is "unequivocally and consistently low," measured in the morning while fasting and repeated. (Endocrine Society, 2018)
  • Two morning tests, not one. The Endocrine Society reaffirmed in July 2026 that diagnosis should use at least two early-morning, fasting testosterone tests. A value near 300 ng/dL is a commonly used clinical threshold, not a diagnosis by itself; assay quality, reference ranges, symptoms or signs, and the cause matter. 15
  • Safety labs first. Baseline hematocrit belongs in the assessment. Hematocrit is the share of your blood made of red blood cells; testosterone can push it too high. PSA is a prostate blood test; prostate assessment and monitoring depend on age, risk, and a discussion with the clinician. The Endocrine Society discusses monitoring for men aged 55–69 and men aged 40–69 at higher prostate-cancer risk. 14, 16
  • Early and ongoing checks. The Endocrine Society guideline includes testosterone and hematocrit checks at 3–6 months, with timing guided by the formulation, then at 12 months and annually. That is not a reason to postpone an earlier review when symptoms, adverse effects, or a product change call for one. 16

Total testosterone is all the testosterone in your blood. Levels swing during the day, so morning tests matter. See testosterone levels throughout the day.

How IAM's approach compares

Comparison table: How IAM's approach compares
Guideline or care step What we could establish from IAM's public pages
Symptoms or signs plus repeat early-morning tests Clinical review is described, but a clear two-test diagnostic protocol was not established
Hematocrit before treatment We did not establish the required baseline panel contents
Prostate assessment where appropriate A specific age- and risk-based protocol was not established
Early and ongoing rechecks Follow-up and lab review are described, but we did not establish a complete monitoring schedule
Cost of initial and repeat tests Unknown for an individual quote; public lab-inclusion statements conflict
Existing outside labs or a transfer of established TRT care Ask which records are accepted, how recent they must be, and whether additional tests cost extra

This compares public disclosure with questions a patient needs answered. It is not a finding that IAM omits a test in clinical care. 1, 3, 4, 5, 14, 15, 16

This doesn't mean IAM skips these steps. It means you should ask. "How will you confirm the diagnosis, what baseline safety checks apply to me, and when will you review the first follow-up labs?" is a fair question for any clinic.

The diagnostic testing described here is for a new evaluation. If you already receive testosterone, ask the treating clinician how existing records and on-treatment tests should be handled; this checklist is not an instruction to interrupt treatment.

Who answers between refills?

IAM advertises portal messaging and program adjustments. Its men's page gives a consultation estimate within 48 hours and describes shipping within 3–5 days after approval; the separate TRT page describes 24–48-hour processing and second-day shipping. These are provider-stated estimates with different starting points, not a verified deadline from first contact to medication in hand. 1, 2

Before paying, ask who reviews messages, how to reach a prescriber about side effects, who covers absences, when a refill request is needed, and which labs must be complete before renewal. Ask whether there is a separate fee for an extra visit. We did not verify current appointment capacity, response times, automatic refill rules, or continuity with the same clinician.

Only have one test, or no test yet? Start with our TRT blood tests guide and testosterone blood test cost page. One number is not a diagnosis, whether it comes from IAM, us, or anyone else.

A clinician-led assessment comes before choosing an online program if you have: markedly abnormal results, headaches or vision changes, testicular changes, breast growth, a history of prostate or breast cancer, a high blood count, untreated severe sleep apnea, or a recent heart attack or stroke. Primary care, a urologist or endocrinologist, or another appropriate specialist can assess the cause and risks. Emergency symptoms need emergency care, not a routine appointment or portal message. 14, 16

Will IAM's TRT affect your fertility?

Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production, so fertility plans belong in the discussion before treatment. The Endocrine Society recommends against testosterone therapy when fertility is planned in the near term. IAM's gonadorelin add-on and separate enclomiphene offering do not establish that an individual patient's fertility will be preserved. 1, 6, 14, 16, 23

If you're trying to conceive now or soon

Stop here. A fertility-focused medical evaluation is the next step—not a TRT order.

The Endocrine Society recommends against testosterone for men planning fertility in the near term. Talk to a reproductive urologist first. They can check your sperm and hormones and discuss options that fit your plans. 14, 16

Find a fertility-first care route with Find My TRT Path →

Or compare TRT providers for men who care about fertility.

If you might want kids later

Bring it up before your first prescription. Discuss testosterone's effect on sperm production and whether fertility assessment or sperm banking fits your plans. Recovery after stopping varies from person to person, and no one can promise it. Our fertility and TRT guide and sperm recovery research explain what's known. 16

Enclomiphene is not TRT

IAM lists enclomiphene, a different kind of drug. It doesn't give you testosterone; it acts on hormone signaling rather than supplying testosterone. We did not confirm a current price or supply size. 6, 23

Know this before you buy:

  • Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved for any use. A compounded preparation is not an FDA-approved generic. 13, 23
  • In June 2022, an FDA advisory committee voted against adding enclomiphene to the 503A bulks list. That advisory vote was not, by itself, a final blanket ban. FDA's list updated May 14, 2026 still includes enclomiphene citrate in Category 1: substances under evaluation. That is not FDA approval or proof that every compounded product is lawful. 21, 22
  • A change in hormone or sperm measurements does not guarantee a pregnancy or preserved fertility. Ask a fertility-aware clinician about the evidence, risks, and monitoring for the exact treatment being proposed.

Compare the two in our enclomiphene vs. TRT guide.

Where does IAM operate, and could the rules change?

IAM says it serves adults in every state except Alaska and Hawaii through telehealth. The federal temporary extension runs through December 31, 2026, but it does not override state law, prescriber authority, or a clinical need for an in-person evaluation. Ask IAM to confirm your state, clinician, and continuity plan before paying. 4, 5, 18

States

IAM's terms say its services are available across the U.S. except Alaska and Hawaii. That's IAM's statement. We could not establish the identity and license of the clinician who would treat you, so we did not verify individual state coverage. Ask: "Which clinician would treat me, and are they licensed in my state?" Our TRT laws by state page covers state-level rules.

Telehealth rules for testosterone

Since testosterone is a controlled substance, federal DEA rules are part of what determines whether it can be prescribed without an in-person visit. The DEA has extended its telehealth flexibilities through December 31, 2026. The extension permits qualifying DEA-registered practitioners to prescribe Schedule II–V medicines through an audio-video visit without a prior in-person medical evaluation when all conditions are met, including applicable federal and state law. It is not permission for a clinic to guarantee a prescription or serve every state. 18

The extension is temporary; it does not establish permanent prescribing rules after that date. Some providers already say an in-person exam may be required under DEA and state law. We did not verify an IAM transition plan. So ask: "If the telehealth rules change after December 31, 2026, how will my prescriptions continue?" Read more in TRT online without an in-person visit and is online TRT legal?

Insurance, HSA, and FSA

IAM's terms say it does not accept commercial insurance and isn't enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid. You may be able to pay with an HSA or FSA card if you're eligible, but IAM makes no promise you'll be reimbursed. Confirm eligibility with the account administrator; accepting a card is not a reimbursement guarantee. 4

If you want insurance to cover TRT, an in-network doctor is the better route. See TRT providers that take insurance and providers that accept HSA or FSA.

Can you cancel IAMHRT or get a refund?

IAM says there is no monthly membership, but that does not establish how future medication orders are authorized or stopped. Its two terms pages restrict refunds after dispensing or dispatch; only one states a faulty- or misdescribed-item exception. The shorter terms page also says an unused paid lab panel will be refunded or credited. 3, 4

IAM has two published terms documents, both dated September 2026. Read them separately rather than assuming their wording is identical:

Comparison table: Can you cancel IAMHRT or get a refund?
Situation What IAM's terms say
Monthly membership The shorter terms page says none
Cancel after dispatch The shorter terms page says the order cannot be cancelled
Refund on dispensed medication The September 10 document says no return or refund once dispensed
Faulty or misdescribed item The shorter terms page states an exception; the other page does not spell out that exception
Unused paid lab panel The shorter terms page says refunded or credited toward treatment; ask for the request process
Medication charge before approval The shorter terms page says no medication charge until a provider approves; that is not a promise that every other service is free
Future orders and commitments We did not verify an order-renewal schedule, cancellation cutoff, or minimum medication commitment
Disputes The September 10 document names Delaware law and binding arbitration

These are descriptions of the published contract terms, not a ruling on their enforceability or your legal rights. 3, 4

How to protect yourself:

  1. Confirm each order before it is dispensed. Ask when the order becomes nonrefundable and get any exception in writing.
  2. Talk to your clinician before reordering. Don't reorder on autopilot.
  3. Ask about records. If you ever switch clinics, you'll want your labs and prescription history. Ask how to request visit notes, laboratory results, and prescription records; who sends them; whether a fee applies; and how long it takes. We did not verify IAM's records-request process. Our guide to switching TRT providers walks through it.

If exit terms matter most, compare what can actually be refunded—not just the guarantee headline. Taurus Meds excludes lab and pharmacy fees from its 90-day promise, while its terms make shipped medication sales final. Male Excel says to contact Member Support to pause; confirm its cancellation process separately. Both are covered in the comparison below. 25, 26, 28

What are the 8 questions to send IAM before you pay?

These eight questions address the main gaps that could change your cost or care decision. Copy them into your intake notes or use IAM's contact options to request written answers. Specific replies give you something to verify; they are not a substitute for a proper clinical evaluation.

Copy and send:

  1. Is the testosterone you'd send me an FDA-approved product or compounded? What are the exact product name, manufacturer or compounding pharmacy, concentration, and supply size? What is the dispensing pharmacy's full legal name, address, and license information?
  2. What are the full name, credentials, and state license of the clinician who would prescribe for me? Which medical group is responsible for care, and who covers questions or side effects between visits?
  3. How will you confirm the diagnosis, including repeat early-morning testosterone testing, symptoms or signs, and baseline safety checks such as hematocrit and prostate assessment where appropriate? Will you accept recent outside records if I already receive treatment?
  4. What do the initial, repeat, and monitoring lab panels cost, and when will I need them? What is the first follow-up date, what do extra visits cost, and who reviews the results before refills?
  5. Which published offer applies to me—$260 / $360 or $280 / $380 per 10 weeks? Is lab work included despite the conflicting pages, and how much is shipping per order?
  6. How many payments and medication orders should I budget for in my first year, on what dates, and at what renewal prices? What are the minimum commitment, automatic-order rules, cancellation cutoff, refund exceptions, and process for getting my records if I leave?
  7. Your catalog lists retatrutide. What is being offered, why is it listed, and which pharmacy is involved, given FDA's statement that it cannot be used in compounding under federal law?
  8. What is your plan for care continuity if an in-person evaluation is clinically or legally required, or if the federal temporary extension ending December 31, 2026 changes? Will you coordinate a local visit or records transfer?

Tip: Save the reply. A written answer is your record if anything changes later.

Don't put detailed health information into a general contact form. Save that for IAM's patient intake.

How does IAMHRT compare with Male Excel, Taurus Meds, and Hone Health?

The four providers publish different kinds of prices, so the figures below do not establish a cheapest complete first year. IAM's program price is lower than the listed starting subtotals, but its extras remain unresolved; the alternatives also have limits and exclusions. Consider them only when they address a specific reason IAM does not fit—not because they appear in a comparison.

The offers below are cash-pay online programs. Male Excel and Taurus disclose compounded offerings; the exact testosterone product for an IAM or Hone prescription still needs confirmation. Do not treat a compounded offer as an FDA-approved-product pathway. If you want an FDA-approved product billed to insurance, a local or in-network doctor is the more relevant starting point; coverage still depends on your plan and prescription. 4, 13, 25, 27, 28, 29

Checked Sept 30, 2026 Sept 30, 2026 Sept 30, 2026 Sept 30, 2026

Sources: IAM's plan pages and terms; Taurus's $49 offer and legal terms; Hone's Plus membership details; Male Excel's pricing page and homepage. The figures exclude unresolved charges rather than assigning them a zero value. 1, 2, 3, 4, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

The calculations:

  • IAM: $260 × 52 ÷ 10 = $1,352, an annualized program component. Six full $260 payments would instead be $1,560 in the illustration above.
  • Taurus: $49 + ($149 × 12) = $1,837. If its separate $17.99 fee applied 12 times, that would add $215.88, bringing the subtotal to $2,052.88. The terms say “per billing period”; we did not verify that this means monthly or that the fee applies to this offer.
  • Hone Plus: $45 + $45 + ($135 × 12) = $1,710 with at-lab confirmation, or $45 + $80 + ($135 × 12) = $1,745 with at-home confirmation. Medication is extra.
  • Male Excel: $99 + [($99 + $120) × 12] = $2,727 at the starting injection price, before shipping and any other required extras. Monthly price equivalents and every-other-month medication billing do not establish the dates or amounts of your actual first-year payments.

These calculations assume the quoted prices stay unchanged for 12 months and exclude unverified promotions or refunds. A lower component is not a savings claim against another provider's complete bill.

Which one fits you?

"I want to investigate a lower program price, and I don't mind asking questions." → IAM is worth a closer look, not a lowest-cost verdict. The $1,352 figure is only its 52-week program component. Send the 8 questions first and compare the complete written quote. Compare IAM's published TRT offers →

"I want one monthly price and a way out if it's not for me." → Taurus needs clarification before it answers that need. Its offer page says $149 a month with no membership fee, but Section 28 of its terms lists a separate $17.99 recurring fee per billing period. Its 90-day promise excludes lab and pharmacy fees, and shipped medications are final under its terms. That is not a refund guarantee for the main prescription cost. 25, 26 Compare Taurus's $49 offer with its terms → · Taurus terms · Our Taurus Meds review · Taurus Meds cost

"I want testing built into a membership, with ongoing monitoring." → Hone Health Plus publishes a clearer testing price breakdown. The $135 monthly membership includes ongoing consults and covered follow-up testing, while medication is billed separately. For a new TRT pathway, its published charges include a $45 first test and a separate $45 at-lab or $80 at-home confirmation test. The first test plus confirmation plus first membership month totals $225 or $260 before medication, not $180. This pricing disclosure is not an independent clinical-quality endorsement. 29, 30 See Hone's Plus testing and membership details → · Our Hone Health review · Hone cost

"I want full membership care and safety information published up front, and I'll pay for it." → Male Excel publishes membership details, but that does not settle the diagnostic question. Its advertised injection medication price starts at $120 a month and does not include the required $99 monthly membership or $99 initial consultation. The starting 12-month subtotal is $2,727 before shipping and any other required extras. 27

The membership describes provider access, check-ins every 60 days, and blood testing every six months. Male Excel says an in-person exam may be needed and says to contact Member Support to pause. HSA or FSA eligibility does not guarantee reimbursement. One thing to ask: its pricing page bundles testosterone with thyroid medication, while the homepage says thyroid treatment is used when clinically appropriate. Ask whether thyroid medication is indicated and optional in your quote. 27, 28

A material limitation: Male Excel's homepage says that, when it considers it clinically appropriate, prescribing may happen from symptoms and health history before lab results arrive. The same page also says every protocol begins with lab testing, so the order of those steps needs clarification. For a new, unconfirmed diagnosis, prescribing before diagnostic confirmation would not meet the repeat-testing standard described by the Endocrine Society. Ask how prior records or new results will establish the diagnosis before a first prescription. Published warnings do not, by themselves, prove better clinical care. 15, 28

How did we check IAM?

We read the reachable public IAM pages, both terms documents, and the linked customer-experience sources on September 30, 2026. We then compared the providers' published charges, kept unknown costs visible, and separated annualized components from actual payment illustrations. We did not buy a plan or speak with IAM, so this is public-source research, not a hands-on test or a completed clinical/licensing audit.

Our process follows How We Review TRT Providers. We look at eligibility and testing, clinician access, state availability, treatment formats, medication and pharmacy transparency, fertility handling, monitoring, total cost, cancellation, support, and how honestly a provider makes its claims.

We keep four kinds of information separate:

  • Verified facts: dated documentary observations, calculations, and medical or regulatory information supported by the cited authoritative source. Verifying that a provider published a claim is not the same as independently verifying its service.
  • Provider-stated facts: what IAM claims but we couldn't independently check, like licensed clinicians in 48 states.
  • Customer signals: what reviewers report. These can suggest questions to ask, but a small, dated sample does not establish typical service, quality, or results.
  • Our judgment: the verdict and "best for" calls, based on the facts above.

We don't give providers star ratings or numeric scores. The Trustpilot figure is that platform's score, not ours. Prices, terms, and rules can change after the verification date; the date above identifies this check, not continuous monitoring.

IAM, or anyone else: spot something wrong? Send a correction. We'll check it and update the page, with the date. See our editorial standards and affiliate disclosure.

What else should you know about IAMHRT?

The main unanswered questions are the exact product and care team, the complete quote, and which written terms apply. The answers below distinguish IAM's public statements from what still needs confirmation for your own care.

Is IAMHRT the same as IAM Clinic and IAM Health?

These names appear in connection with the same website, iamhrt.com. That does not independently identify the legal medical group responsible for your care. Ask for that group and the treating clinician by name. 1, 3, 5, 9

Where is IAM located?

IAM describes telehealth-only care through video and portal messaging. We did not verify a current walk-in address; its contact page lists 224-304-4004. One terms document selects Delaware law, but that does not establish a clinic location or prescribing authority. 4, 5, 7

Is IAMHRT a scam?

An active site and older customer reviews are not enough to certify a healthcare service. We found written offers and terms, but did not verify your prescriber, exact testosterone product, or dispensing pharmacy. The catalog's retatrutide listing is a separate regulatory concern, not proof of a specific unlawful sale. Ask about all three before paying. 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12

How much does IAMHRT cost per month?

IAM advertises 10-week courses, not monthly subscriptions. The $260 Essential offer equals about $113 per month when spread over 52 weeks; the $360 Complete offer equals $156. These are program equivalents, not monthly bills or full costs. Another IAM page lists $280 and $380, and lab and shipping disclosures need confirmation. 1, 2, 3, 8

Does IAMHRT charge a membership fee?

IAM's terms say there are no monthly memberships, and its about page lists $0 video consults. Confirm how medication orders and any separate laboratory charges are authorized. 3, 5

Does IAMHRT take insurance?

No. IAM's terms say it doesn't accept commercial insurance and isn't enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid. You may be able to use an HSA or FSA card, but reimbursement isn't guaranteed. 4

Are labs included with IAMHRT?

The public statements conflict. The men's page says full lab work is included; the homepage and terms say panels are billed separately. IAM describes draws at Labcorp or Quest, but your written quote should name the tests, repeat-test charges, and follow-up costs. 1, 3, 4, 5, 8

Is IAM's testosterone compounded?

We could not establish the exact testosterone product you would receive. Its site says the compounded medications it uses aren't FDA-approved, but that general disclosure does not identify your prescription. Ask directly, and ask which pharmacy fills your prescription. 6, 8, 13

Can I get a refund from IAMHRT?

The September 10 terms say dispensed prescriptions cannot be returned or refunded. The separate, shorter terms page allows an exception for faulty or misdescribed items after dispatch and says unused paid lab panels are refunded or credited. Ask which process and terms apply to your order. 3, 4

Which states does IAM serve?

IAM says all U.S. states except Alaska and Hawaii. That is a provider statement, not our verification of a specific prescriber's authority in your state. 4, 5

Does IAM require an in-person visit?

IAM describes a telehealth-only model. The federal temporary extension lasts through December 31, 2026, but applicable state law, clinician authority, and clinical needs still matter. Ask what happens if you need an in-person evaluation now or later. 5, 18

Does IAM treat women?

Yes. IAM advertises a separate women's hormone program. This page covers men's TRT only, and women's hormone care needs a different medical evaluation. A women's-care testimonial does not validate the men's program. 31

Does a free consult mean I'll get a prescription?

No. IAM says prescribing is subject to a clinical decision, and treatment is not guaranteed. No online tool or quiz can promise a prescription. 3, 4, 5

What is the bottom line on IAMHRT reviews?

IAMHRT reviews provide favorable historical service feedback, but the current decision rests on the care details and written quote—not the stars. The $1,352 figure is a 52-week program equivalent at one advertised price, not a complete first-year cost or proof that IAM is cheapest. Confirm the prescriber, medication, pharmacy, testing, applicable offer, and retatrutide explanation before paying. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12

Good answers give you a basis to keep evaluating IAM. Vague answers are a reason to pause, not a reason to jump into another unverified program. A different provider may solve a specific problem; an in-network or fertility-focused clinician may be the more appropriate care route.
