Kyzatrex Cost in 2026: What You'll Actually Pay, by Route and by Dose
Kyzatrex cost depends on what the price includes: Henry Meds advertises $179 a month for care and medicine; GetKYZATREX and Thrive advertise $229 with a three-month commitment. menMD lists a 120-capsule bottle from $179. TestDepot advertises $1,908 annual prepayment for Florida residents. Confirm prescription supply, tests and insurance before comparing totals.
Here's the part most price pages miss. A $179 bottle and a $179 monthly plan cover different things. menMD's starting bottle price doesn't say which strength or how many days it covers; the plan includes care as well as medicine. Whether that's a good deal depends on three things: your prescription, whether you already have a doctor, and your insurance. We'll walk through all three, with the math.
Three things change your number:
- Your prescription. The prescribed strength, capsule quantity and pharmacy-confirmed days' supply determine what a fill costs and how long it lasts.
- Your insurance. The maker sells Kyzatrex as cash-pay, but some big commercial plans list it with prior approval. 3 22 24
- Your state. Henry doesn't offer Kyzatrex in California. The manufacturer lists GetKYZATREX as unavailable in Alabama or Rhode Island. TestDepot serves Florida residents only. The maker-linked mail-order pharmacy doesn't ship to Alabama or New York. 4 7 11 36
Kyzatrex may be worth pricing if you want an FDA-approved testosterone pill, no needles, and nothing on your skin that can rub off on a partner or child — and a clinician has assessed your symptoms and confirmed consistently low testosterone with two morning blood tests on separate days. 1 31
Start somewhere else if your priority is the lowest full-care cost and you haven't compared a generic prescription through your own doctor, you're trying to have a child soon, or your blood pressure isn't under control. 1 31
Kyzatrex is an FDA-approved testosterone undecanoate capsule for adult males with testosterone deficiency due to certain medical conditions. Its safety and effectiveness for age-related low testosterone have not been established. 1
Prices are the companies' own posted prices, checked October 21, 2026. These are base payments, not complete individual quotes. They assume unchanged prices for 12 months; GetKYZATREX and Thrive include the $99 credit once, if it applies. Unpriced tests, visits or fees can add to the bill.

How much does Kyzatrex cost per month?
Henry Meds advertises $179 a month; GetKYZATREX and Thrive advertise $229 with a three-month commitment and a $99 entry payment credited toward treatment if prescribed. TestDepot advertises $1,908 annual prepayment for Florida residents, equivalent to $159 a month, or a $199 monthly option with $398 to start. With your own prescriber, you pay for medicine and care separately, so compare the pharmacy-confirmed days' supply and all care charges. 8 10 11 13 36
Every Kyzatrex price you've seen is one of three kinds. Mix them up, and nothing adds up.
- A care-plan price covers visits, medicine and specified tests. Check which services cost extra and whether the displayed monthly amount requires prepayment.
- A bottle price covers the capsules only. How long the bottle lasts depends on your prescription and the quantity dispensed.
- A first-fill voucher has its own benefit limit and eligibility rules. A pharmacy discount card is a separate price offer that may apply to later fills; neither covers visits or labs. 6 20
What each Kyzatrex care plan includes (checked October 21, 2026)
Two things in that table deserve a second look.
"No commitment" doesn't always mean no commitment. GetKYZATREX's page says "no long-term commitment" in one spot and "requires 3-month commitment" under the $229 price. The manufacturer's site says "no commitment" too. Treat the 3-month term as the real one. That's $687 in advertised treatment payments over the three-month term, with the $99 credit counted once if it applies. 8 9
Your $99 can disappear. At GetKYZATREX, once your labs are done or you've met with a physician, the $99 is gone whether or not a physician prescribes Kyzatrex. If you aren't sure your testosterone is low, that matters. 9
One more note on TestDepot. Its Kyzatrex page lists the FDA-approved brand, but the same page also carries standard wording about products "dispensed by the compounding pharmacy." Ask TestDepot in writing to confirm you'll receive brand-name Kyzatrex and which pharmacy fills it. 13

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to explore online program options and the questions to ask before you pay.
The tool is educational and non-diagnostic. It shows which online TRT program fits your answers and links to our guides on local care and fertility. Our Privacy Policy says individual tool answers stay in the browser and are not sent to or saved in our database.
Why does the Kyzatrex price depend on your dose?
A bottle price is not automatically a monthly price. Compare quotes for the exact prescription your clinician writes: the strength, capsule quantity and pharmacy-confirmed days' supply. A change in the prescription can change your cost, but a higher strength does not automatically mean more capsules.
This is the part nobody spells out. A bottle price only means something once you know how many days it covers. So here's the math to use once your pharmacy confirms the days' supply.
How to turn a Kyzatrex fill price into a monthly cost
Divide the pharmacy's quoted fill price by its confirmed days' supply, then multiply by 30. These are arithmetic examples, not pharmacy offers or treatment instructions.
The 30-day equivalent makes quotes comparable. It doesn't mean you can pay for part of a fill, and it doesn't establish which days' supply your pharmacy can dispense.
The label now lists four capsule strengths: 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg and 200 mg. DailyMed lists an August 2026 packaging marketing-start date for a 50 mg capsule in a 30-count bottle. Ask your pharmacy which strengths it can actually fill. A label listing isn't proof a pharmacy has it in stock. 1
What the posted Kyzatrex pharmacy prices actually cover
Medicine only. No visits or labs. Third-party prices change by pharmacy and ZIP code; checked October 21, 2026.
What this means for you: The lowest bottle price isn't enough to choose a route. You need the price for your exact fill and the number of days it covers. If you're comparing a care plan with a pharmacy fill, always compare like with like: medicine plus doctor plus labs.
When does the dose usually change?
The label calls for testosterone monitoring at least 7 days after treatment starts or changes, with the sample drawn 3 to 5 hours after the morning dose, and periodically thereafter. Your clinician sets the appointment and timing instructions. 1
That raises a fair question about the care plans: does the monthly price change if your dose goes up? We did not find a clear answer on the Henry, GetKYZATREX, Thrive or TestDepot pages reviewed. Ask in writing before you pay. If the plan price stays the same, compare it with a fresh pharmacy quote for the changed prescription.
Is there a Kyzatrex coupon or savings card?
Yes—the manufacturer posts a first-fill voucher worth up to $199 at participating pharmacies, and DiRx advertises a first month free with code FREETRIAL. Confirm the redemption terms; do not assume these are separate discounts you can combine. They don't cover later fills, doctor visits or labs, and the manufacturer's voucher excludes people enrolled in the government programs listed below. 6 15
The manufacturer's free-first-fill voucher
Marius Pharmaceuticals, the company that makes Kyzatrex, posts a downloadable "first month free" voucher. Its terms, checked October 21, 2026:
- U.S. patients 18 and older with a valid Kyzatrex prescription
- First fill only, at participating pharmacies
- Maximum value of $199 per prescription filled
- Valid for 6 months
- Not valid if you're enrolled in Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D, DoD, VA, TRICARE or any state patient assistance program
- Must be shown before the prescription is dispensed
- The company can change or end it at any time
Two catches worth knowing. First, paying cash doesn't get around the government-program rule. The rule is about being enrolled, not about how you pay. Second, the benefit cannot exceed $199. Ask the participating pharmacy to confirm acceptance, the voucher's issue and expiry dates, the quantity covered and your remaining charge before counting a discount in your budget. 6
DiRx, an online pharmacy, shows the same idea on its Kyzatrex page: first-time buyers can use code FREETRIAL for a free one-month supply. DiRx says it doesn't ship Kyzatrex to New York, lists Kyzatrex as a one-time purchase, and shows the final price, including shipping and processing, at checkout. Confirm the current FREETRIAL terms with DiRx before paying. 15
Pharmacy discount cards (GoodRx, SingleCare, Drugs.com)
These cards can help after the first fill. But they aren't always cheaper. SingleCare's page showed a $416 card estimate above its $365.94 typical-cost figure, alongside conflicting prescription selections. Those are not two confirmed pharmacy quotes for the same fill. 20
So ask the pharmacist one simple question:
"What are your cash and discount-card prices for my exact Kyzatrex prescription, and how many days does each quote cover?"
A discount card and your insurance usually can't be combined on the same fill. Compare the final prices, and ask your plan whether a cash or discount-card purchase counts toward your deductible or out-of-pocket limit. 20
Is there a generic Kyzatrex?
DailyMed lists Undecatrex as an authorized generic under Kyzatrex's FDA application, NDA 213953. An authorized generic is the brand's own product sold under a different label. Don't count on it saving money. Ask your pharmacist whether it is available and request a quote for the same strength, quantity and days' supply as your Kyzatrex prescription. 21 44
One more thing: Jatenzo and Tlando are not generics of Kyzatrex. The Kyzatrex label says it can't be swapped with other oral testosterone undecanoate products. A pharmacy shouldn't trade one for another without your prescriber. 1

Does insurance cover Kyzatrex?
Sometimes—Kyzatrex's maker sells it as a cash-pay drug, but that does not determine every insurer's coverage. Current UnitedHealthcare and Independence Blue Cross formularies list it with prior authorization and quantity limits; the specific Express Scripts and Premera lists below exclude it. Your exact plan, pharmacy network and approval rules decide whether a claim can be paid. 3 22 24 27 28
You'll read "Kyzatrex isn't covered by insurance" all over the internet. That's the maker's sales model. It isn't a rule every insurer follows.
What insurers' own documents say about Kyzatrex
A formulary is a plan's drug list, and a tier affects what you pay. These rows are a dated document comparison, not a finding that every plan from the named insurer covers or excludes Kyzatrex.
The useful takeaway: There are three separate questions, and they have three separate answers.
- Does your plan cover the drug? Check your plan's formulary (its list of covered drugs).
- Can your pharmacy bill your plan? Confirm both the pharmacy network and its billing policy. The manufacturer advertises a cash-pay route.
- Does your prescriber handle the paperwork? Ask whether the practice handles prior authorization and exceptions, and whether there is a fee.
If you want insurance to pay, you usually need a prescriber and a pharmacy that will both work through your plan. GetKYZATREX's contract goes further than not billing insurance: it says you agree not to seek reimbursement for its services. Check that restriction before choosing its cash-pay program. 9
What "prior authorization" and "quantity limit" mean
Prior authorization means your plan wants information from your prescriber before it agrees to pay. For testosterone, plans commonly want proof the diagnosis was confirmed. The Kyzatrex label itself requires low testosterone measured in the morning on at least two separate days before treatment starts. A clinician must also assess symptoms and the cause; the Endocrine Society recommends repeat morning fasting testing to confirm the diagnosis. Ask your plan for its written criteria. 1 31
A quantity limit caps how many capsules the plan will pay for in a month. Ask how the plan's limit applies to your prescribed strength, quantity and days' supply. If your plan's limit is lower than your prescription, your prescriber can ask for an exception.
If your plan says no
If the answer is still no, you can switch to a cash route or ask your prescriber about a covered alternative.
What about Medicare and Medicaid?
Coverage depends on your exact plan. Kyzatrex isn't automatically covered or automatically excluded. Medicare drug plans can use prior authorization, step therapy and quantity limits, and they have an exception process. Check your plan's drug list in Medicare's Plan Finder, or call the plan with the exact strength and quantity. 29
Two limits to check before paying:
- The manufacturer's first-fill voucher can't be used if you're enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, the VA or another government program.
- GetKYZATREX's terms exclude government-program billing and reimbursement for its services. For any other program, confirm its payment and reimbursement rules directly. 9
Can you use HSA or FSA money?
Usually, yes, for eligible prescription medicine, medical visits and lab fees that have not been reimbursed elsewhere. IRS Publications 502 and 969 explain qualified medical expenses and health accounts. A bundled monthly plan isn't automatically eligible in full, so keep itemized receipts and ask your plan administrator. 33 43

Where can you get Kyzatrex, and which route costs least for you?
The routes compared here are an online care plan with specified visits and tests, your own doctor plus a pharmacy, your own doctor plus your insurance, or your doctor sending the prescription to the maker-linked mail-order pharmacy. The cheapest route depends on whether you already have a prescriber, your prescription, your insurance and your state.
State and shipping limits that change your options
These are limits on specific routes. They don't mean Kyzatrex is unavailable everywhere in those states. A local prescriber and pharmacy may still be an option.
Which Kyzatrex route fits your situation?
If you already have a prescriber
You may not need a new membership at all. Your doctor can send the prescription to a regular pharmacy, a mail-order pharmacy, or KYZATREX Direct. That's the manufacturer-linked program run through Epiq Scripts, which the manufacturer identifies as a licensed mail-order pharmacy in Texas. Here's the process the manufacturer describes: 7
- Your clinic enrolls and sends the prescription (or e-prescribes to Epiq Scripts).
- If the clinic chooses patient billing, you get a secure payment link by text or email. The medicine ships after you pay. The program also offers clinic billing.
- The stated pharmacist-verification time is 1 business day, with standard shipping of 3 to 5 days. Confirm the timing for your order.
- No P.O. boxes. KYZATREX Direct requires a physical delivery address.
The patient price for KYZATREX Direct wasn't posted on the page reviewed. Call Epiq Scripts at (833) 654-3553 and ask the price for your exact strength and quantity. 7
The one honest trade-off
Kyzatrex's price buys a format, not a reason to skip cheaper options. If the lowest possible price is your top priority, get a full-care quote for FDA-approved generic testosterone through your own doctor before choosing an oral plan — see the full cost comparison. But because Kyzatrex is a swallowed capsule, you get FDA-approved testosterone with no needles and no gel that can transfer to a partner or child. For a lot of men, that's exactly the point. If needles have kept you from discussing treatment, a capsule is an option to ask your clinician about. 1

What will Kyzatrex cost in the first year?
The selected plans' advertised base payments run from $1,908 to $2,748 over 12 months under the assumptions below. TestDepot's annual plan is Florida-only, requires prepayment and reaches $2,027 with one $119 starter panel; unpriced services can add more. If you use your own doctor, add your prescribed medicine to the cost of visits and monitoring.
Advertised base cost over 12 months for the plans compared here
Our math, using each company's posted prices on October 21, 2026. It assumes prices don't change and that you stay on the same plan for 12 months. The listed amounts are plan-payment subtotals, not promises of complete care or a particular quantity of medicine.
Build your own budget (the honest formula)
If you're using your own doctor, here's how to add it up without fooling yourself:
First-year cash cost = upfront charges + remaining plan payments + pharmacy fills not included in the plan + labs and visits not included + shipping and other fees not included − confirmed credits or refunds not already reflected above
Four rules keep the number honest:
- Count each thing once. If medicine, labs or shipping are included, don't add them again.
- Count the $99 entry fee once. Use either the reduced payment or a separate credit subtraction, never both.
- Count fills by days, not months. Twelve 30-day fills cover 360 days, not 365.
- Leave unknowns as unknowns. A missing lab fee isn't $0. It's a question to ask.
Monitoring that can affect your first-year cost
This is where "medicine only" pricing hides real money. The current Kyzatrex label sets out these checks; your clinician sets the plan for you. Diagnosis also requires symptoms or signs and evaluation of the cause, with repeat morning fasting testosterone testing recommended by the Endocrine Society. 1 31
Our read: There is no single blood-draw count for every patient. Some tests can be combined, and treatment changes can add checks. Your clinician sets the real schedule. If you're comparing a $179 bottle with a $229 care plan, put a price on those tests first.
Before paying, ask for one written quote that answers these questions:
- Are both separate morning diagnostic tests included, or could a repeat test cost extra? Are outside results accepted?
- Which pharmacy fills the prescription, what strength and quantity are included, and how many days does each shipment cover?
- Who is the treating clinician, are they licensed for your state, and could an in-person visit add to the cost?
- How do you book follow-ups, contact the clinical team between visits and request a refill before your supply runs out?
- What does cancellation cost, and how do you get your lab results and medical records if you leave?
A promise of "labs included" doesn't answer all of those questions. The public prices above do not establish a complete diagnostic, refill or records-transfer process for every program.

What could raise your Kyzatrex cost after you start?
Three things can change your bill after you start: a prescription change, a lab result that leads your clinician to pause treatment, or the plan's commitment and refund rules. Kyzatrex can raise blood pressure and red blood cell count, so the label calls for regular checks. It can also lower sperm production, which matters if you want children. 1
Blood pressure
Kyzatrex can raise blood pressure. In the main study, 24-hour monitoring showed an average rise of 1.7/0.6 mmHg after 4 months. In men already taking blood pressure medicine, systolic pressure rose 3.4 mmHg. The label says Kyzatrex isn't recommended if your blood pressure is uncontrolled. 1
The boxed warning about blood pressure was removed from the label in July 2025. Blood pressure is still a listed warning, and checks are still required. If your blood pressure climbs, your clinician may need to start or change blood pressure medicine. That's a cost too. 1 2
Red blood cells (hematocrit)
Testosterone can thicken the blood by raising your red blood cell count. The label says to check hematocrit before starting and about every 3 months. If it climbs too high, the label directs your clinician to pause Kyzatrex until it falls to an acceptable level. If Kyzatrex is restarted and raises hematocrit again, the label directs permanent discontinuation. Ask what happens to prepaid fees if your clinician stops treatment. 1
Fertility
Kyzatrex can suppress sperm production and may cause azoospermia (no sperm in the semen). The label says the effect on fertility may be irreversible. The Endocrine Society advises against testosterone therapy for men planning a child in the near future. 1 31
If you want children soon, Kyzatrex isn't your next step. Start with a reproductive urologist or another fertility-focused clinician. Read our TRT and fertility guide.
Your liver
Kyzatrex isn't one of the older 17-alpha-alkylated pills that were linked to liver damage, and its label says it isn't known to cause liver problems. Still, call your clinician right away if you notice yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, or pain on the right side of your belly. 1
Online prescribing after December 31, 2026
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance and requires a valid prescription. The DEA/HHS temporary extension allows DEA-registered practitioners to prescribe it after an audio-video telemedicine encounter without a prior in-person evaluation through December 31, 2026, when the other federal and state requirements are met. The extension does not guarantee the same arrangements for January 2027. If you start online late in 2026, ask your program how it will maintain your care if requirements change. 1 30
Kyzatrex probably isn't your next step if…
- Your symptoms and possible causes haven't been evaluated, with consistently low testosterone confirmed on repeat morning testing. Here's how diagnosis works.
- You're trying to have a child soon. Start here instead.
- Your blood pressure isn't controlled.
- You have or might have prostate or breast cancer. The label lists these as reasons not to take it.
- You're under 18, or you're looking for a muscle or performance boost. Kyzatrex isn't approved for either. 1 31
Is Kyzatrex worth the cost compared with other options?
A Kyzatrex care-plan price and another pill's medicine-only price cover different things. Compare the full cost of the prescription, visits and tests, with any prepayment or coverage limits. Kyzatrex may be worth it when a needle-free, FDA-approved capsule matters to you, your clinician considers it appropriate and the full price fits your budget.
The Jatenzo price conflict is on its own website, checked October 21, 2026. Don't use the lower figure in a budget until the pharmacy confirms it. The approval column describes medicines, not approval of a clinic or care plan. 1 47
Each oral testosterone brand has its own strengths, dosing and food rules. They aren't interchangeable. For the provider comparison, see our best oral TRT providers guide. 1 47 48

Kyzatrex not the right fit? What other options cost
If Kyzatrex's price or prescribed routine rules it out, other routes include FDA-approved generic injections or gels through your own doctor, or an online clinic that uses compounded testosterone. Compounded testosterone isn't FDA-approved and isn't a generic version of Kyzatrex. If blood pressure or fertility is the concern, start with your clinician before choosing another testosterone program. 1 31 32
"Compounded" means a pharmacy mixes the medicine for an individual patient. The FDA doesn't review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold. So a compounded cream, troche or capsule isn't "generic Kyzatrex," even if it contains testosterone. 32
If you want to price FDA-approved generics through your own doctor
Ask about FDA-approved generic testosterone through a prescriber who takes your insurance. Then compare real quotes. Our TRT cost guide and oral testosterone vs. injections guide walk through it.
If you'd rather stay online and are considering compounded testosterone
Affiliate disclosure: TRT Provider Guide has a paid affiliate relationship with Male Excel. The link below uses our tracked affiliate link to its website. That doesn't change what we tell you below.
Male Excel is an online men's clinic. Here's what you need to know before you click:
- Its public treatment menu does not list Kyzatrex or another FDA-approved testosterone pill. Its advertised testosterone options are compounded injections and cream; these products are not FDA-approved. 18 42
- Price: a $99 starting consultation and home test, then a $99/month membership, with medication and shipping billed separately. The starting fee plus 12 membership payments would be $1,287 before medicine, shipping and any extra services. We can't verify that the total is lower than a Kyzatrex plan, so don't choose it to save money. 40 41
- What's included (provider-stated): provider check-ins every 60 days and full lab panels every 6 months. 18
- Not available in: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, according to Male Excel. 42
- No insurance. HSA or FSA reimbursement may be possible; ask for itemized charges and check with your plan administrator. 40 43
Best for: men whose clinician considers testosterone appropriate, who want the advertised provider contact and are open to compounded treatment. Not for you if an FDA-approved pill is your must-have — go back to Henry, GetKYZATREX or Thrive.
If compounded treatment fits what you're looking for: Review Male Excel's current program and state limits →
If fertility is the real goal: treatments that are not TRT
Medicines like clomiphene and enclomiphene work differently from testosterone. They aren't TRT, and they aren't a "natural" version of it. Clomiphene is FDA-approved to treat certain ovulation problems in women; its use in men is off-label. Enclomiphene has no FDA-approved product in the U.S. No treatment can promise to protect or restore fertility. Talk with a reproductive urologist first. Our fertility guide explains the options. 31 45 46
What we actually verified
Checked October 21, 2026. Here's exactly what we did — and didn't — confirm. Our full method is How We Review TRT Providers.
We read and dated these sources:
- The current Kyzatrex prescribing information on DailyMed (label revised August 2026) and the FDA label PDF (July 2025)
- Kyzatrex.com: home, get-started, telemedicine providers, prescriber, KYZATREX Direct and the first-fill voucher pages
- GetKYZATREX pricing and Terms of Use (updated May 4, 2026), plus Thrive's hormone-program terms
- Thrive, Henry Meds (pricing page and refund policy), TestDepot (pricing, FAQ and billing policy), menMD, DiRx, Marley Drug and Hims testosterone pages
- Male Excel's treatment menu, starting-test offer, membership costs, state limits and published follow-up schedule
- Insurer documents from UnitedHealthcare (May 2026 drug list), Independence Blue Cross (July 2026), Cigna, BCBS Oklahoma, Express Scripts (October 2026 version) and Premera Essentials E1/E4 (October 2026)
- Price listings on Drugs.com and SingleCare; the Undecatrex DailyMed record; Jatenzo's payment terms and FAQ
- DEA's telemedicine extension through December 31, 2026; the Endocrine Society testosterone guideline; IRS Publications 502 and 969; FDA information on compounded and authorized-generic drugs
Verified from primary sources: capsule strengths, testing schedule, blood pressure data, hematocrit monitoring, fertility and liver language (prescribing information); voucher terms (manufacturer); the specific insurer entries in our table; and the conditions and end date of the temporary telemedicine extension (DEA).
Provider-stated (published by the company, not tested by us): what each care plan includes, plan prices, age and state limits, refund rules, and KYZATREX Direct's shipping area and process.
Third-party prices: discount-card estimates change by pharmacy and ZIP code. Treat them as dated examples, not pharmacy-confirmed quotes.
Our calculations and conclusions: the cost tables use the stated prices, credits and payment assumptions. The route suggestions are editorial judgments about fit, not clinical recommendations or verified service outcomes.
We could not confirm:
- Whether any care plan's monthly price changes when your dose changes
- How often GetKYZATREX's and Thrive's included hormone panel repeats
- Thrive's 1-month package price
- The patient price through KYZATREX Direct
- Which strength or days' supply menMD's "from $179" price applies to
- DiRx's actual first-fill and refill charges, including whether the advertised first-month offer applies
- Medicare Part D coverage on any specific plan
- Which months TestDepot's $398 opening charge covers
- A complete price for any extra diagnostic tests, support visits or records-transfer fees
- The individual clinician or dispensing pharmacy that would serve a particular reader
Contradictions we found:
- GetKYZATREX says both "no long-term commitment" and "requires 3-month commitment."
- Kyzatrex.com says "no commitment" while its partner programs require 3 months for the posted price.
- Henry says "no long-term contracts" but may bill the rest of a multi-month plan if you cancel.
- SingleCare's page showed different prescription selections alongside its typical-cost and card-price figures; they were not usable as a matched comparison.
- "Kyzatrex isn't covered by insurance" conflicts with formularies that list it.
- TestDepot's Kyzatrex page names the FDA-approved brand but also includes compounding-pharmacy wording.
- TestDepot's policy says cancel any time, while its FAQ asks for 30 days' notice; confirm the deadline and refund calculation.
- Jatenzo's payment terms show $239, while its FAQ still shows $185.
What we did not do: enroll, pay, take a lab test, redeem a voucher, test appointment or refill timing, or talk to a clinician as a patient. We did not independently audit every clinician or pharmacy license, or test the decision tool's privacy implementation. This is a cost guide built from public documents, not a hands-on review. We didn't use customer reviews or patient testimonials as evidence for prices, policies or medical results.

Kyzatrex cost FAQ
These answers cover the remaining Kyzatrex price questions in short form. Each one is based on the dated sources listed at the bottom of this page.
How much is Kyzatrex without insurance?
Henry Meds advertises $179 a month; GetKYZATREX and Thrive advertise $229 with a three-month commitment and a $99 entry credit if prescribed, as of October 21, 2026. TestDepot advertises $1,908 annual prepayment for Florida residents, with starter labs potentially extra. menMD lists medicine from $179 per 120-capsule bottle, but the price line does not confirm strength or days' supply. 8 10 11 13 14 36
How long does a bottle of Kyzatrex last?
It depends on the exact prescription. Ask the pharmacy to confirm the strength, capsule quantity and days' supply before treating a bottle price as a monthly price.
Is there a Kyzatrex coupon?
Yes. The manufacturer offers a first-fill voucher worth up to $199 at participating pharmacies, valid for 6 months. DiRx advertises a free first month with code FREETRIAL. Confirm the expiry date, eligible quantity and amount due; do not assume the offers can be combined. Neither covers later fills, and the manufacturer's voucher excludes people enrolled in the government programs named in its terms. 6 15
Can I use the Kyzatrex voucher if I have Medicare and pay cash?
No. The voucher terms exclude anyone enrolled in Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, TRICARE, the VA, DoD or a state patient assistance program. Paying cash doesn't change that. 6
Why is my Kyzatrex coupon price higher than the cash price?
Discount-card prices aren't always lower. SingleCare's page showed conflicting prescription selections, so its $416 card estimate and $365.94 typical-cost figure were not a reliable matched comparison. Ask the pharmacy for both prices for your exact fill, and ask your insurer whether a cash purchase counts toward your deductible. 20
Does insurance cover Kyzatrex?
Sometimes. The UnitedHealthcare May 2026 commercial list and Independence Blue Cross July 2026 premium formulary list it with prior authorization and quantity limits. Cigna and BCBS Oklahoma include it in prior-authorization documents, which alone do not prove coverage. The 2026 Express Scripts National Preferred Formulary exclusion list and October 2026 Premera Essentials E1/E4 list exclude it. Check your own plan's drug list. 22 24 25 26 27 28
Does Medicare cover Kyzatrex?
It depends on your specific Medicare drug plan. We couldn't confirm coverage on any particular plan. Check Medicare's Plan Finder or call your plan with the exact strength and quantity. GetKYZATREX's terms exclude Medicare billing and reimbursement for its services; confirm the rules of any other program separately. 9 29
Is there a generic Kyzatrex?
DailyMed lists Undecatrex as an authorized generic under Kyzatrex's FDA application, NDA 213953. Ask your pharmacist about availability and the price for your exact prescription. Jatenzo and Tlando aren't generics of Kyzatrex. 1 21
Does the Kyzatrex price change if my dose changes?
It can. A prescription change may alter the strength, quantity or days' supply, so ask the pharmacy for a new quote. We did not find a clear answer about dose-related price changes on the care-plan pages reviewed. Ask in writing before you sign up.
Do I get my $99 back if I don't qualify at GetKYZATREX?
The terms offer a full refund before labs, but say no refund is issued once labs are completed or you've met with a physician, even if you don't qualify for treatment. Cancel before either step if you want to use that refund provision. 9
Can I cancel a Kyzatrex plan after one month?
At GetKYZATREX and Thrive, the posted $229 price comes with a 3-month commitment. Henry Meds says you can cancel any time, but a multi-month plan may leave a balance. TestDepot's plans auto-renew, monthly periods are nonrefundable and prepaid refunds reprice used months at the standard monthly rate; its FAQ asks for 30 days' notice. Read the cancellation terms before you pay. 8 10 12 36 37
Can I use my HSA or FSA for Kyzatrex?
Usually, for eligible prescription medicine, medical visits and lab fees not reimbursed elsewhere. IRS Publications 502 and 969 explain qualified expenses and health accounts. A bundled plan may need itemized receipts. Check with your plan administrator. 33 43
Do I need blood tests before getting Kyzatrex?
Yes. The label requires morning testosterone tests on at least two separate days, both below the normal range, before starting. A clinician also assesses your symptoms and investigates the cause; the Endocrine Society recommends repeat morning fasting testing. The label also calls for a hematocrit check and prostate assessment, with the testing plan based on your age and risk. One test or a quiz can't confirm low testosterone. Here's why two tests are needed. 1 31
Is Kyzatrex cheaper than testosterone injections?
A lower-cost injection prescription may be available, but the full comparison needs your medicine, visits, tests and insurance costs. What Kyzatrex buys is the format: an FDA-approved capsule with no needles and no skin gel that can transfer to others. Compare written quotes before choosing it for price. 1
Can I still get Kyzatrex online after December 31, 2026?
The current temporary extension for qualifying audio-video prescribing by DEA-registered practitioners runs through December 31, 2026, subject to other federal and state requirements. It does not guarantee that your program can use the same arrangements in January 2027. Ask the program how it will maintain care under the rules then in effect. 30
Does Hims sell Kyzatrex?
Its public page still labels Kyzatrex "Coming in 2026," with launch timing subject to change. We did not verify a live price or available Kyzatrex enrollment route as of October 21, 2026. Read our Hims testosterone review. 17
The bottom line on Kyzatrex cost
The selected Kyzatrex plans advertise $1,908 to $2,748 in base payments over 12 months, with TestDepot's lower annual price limited to Florida residents who prepay and with starter testing potentially extra. A medicine-only bottle price needs a confirmed strength, quantity and days' supply before you can compare it with a care plan. Your first fill may be discounted by up to $199 through the manufacturer's voucher if its terms apply, including the government-program enrollment exclusions. 6 8 10 11 13 14 36
The best move is simple. Know your prescription and days' supply. Know what your quote actually covers. Check your insurance before you assume it won't help. And if you're still not sure a pill is the right path, sort that out before you pay for anything.
