Valhalla Vitality TRT Cost: Build Your Real First-Year Budget
Use Valhalla Vitality's public pricing disclosures and written-quote questions to account for treatment, testing, shipping and billing dates before paying.
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Valhalla Vitality TRT cost is not publicly itemized on its current TRT page; a free account is required to view pricing. Valhalla advertises no membership fees and free provider consultations, but your first-year bill still depends on the prescribed product, testing, shipping, and billing dates. Get those costs in writing before paying.21

Best for: comparing a Valhalla quote before paying. Not for you if: you need a verified all-in price without creating an account, or need a fertility-focused evaluation before considering testosterone.
Valhalla's TRT costs at a glance
| Cost line | What is public as of September 29, 2026 | What you still need |
|---|---|---|
| Testosterone treatment | The TRT product page requires sign-in for pricing | Exact product, price per fill, quantity, and billing dates |
| Kyzatrex oral capsules — FDA-approved | A separate product listing; price requires sign-in | Price and prescribed supply length |
| At-home lab testing | A separate product listing; price requires sign-in | Panel contents, sample method, and whether testing is bundled |
| Membership fee | Valhalla advertises none | Confirmation that your treatment order has no separate care-plan fee |
| Provider consultations | Valhalla advertises free consultations | Whether every visit your TRT plan needs is included |
| Complete first-year cost | Not established by the public pages | Medication plus any separate testing, visits, supplies, shipping, and fees |

A price behind a sign-up wall isn't a complete budget. We'll separate what Valhalla publishes from what your quote still needs, then show you the one question that decides whether it fits your budget: what will you pay for a full year of the care your clinician recommends?
Your number changes with the treatment format you're prescribed, how often you're billed, how many lab panels you need, shipping and other fees, and whether Valhalla can treat you in your state.
Valhalla may fit you if:
- You want to compare a treatment-order model with a membership program.
- You don't want to pay a monthly membership.
- You'll get the clinician's testing and follow-up plan, with its costs, before paying for treatment.
Look elsewhere first if:
- You're trying to have a child now or soon: start with a fertility-focused clinician.
- You need included follow-up testing but Valhalla hasn't confirmed it in your quote.
- You need a specific FDA-approved injection or gel and Valhalla hasn't confirmed that exact product.
If you haven't had the appropriate repeat early-morning testosterone testing, the next step is evaluation—not buying treatment. That evaluation can begin with an appropriately licensed clinician; it does not automatically require a specialist or an in-person visit.1118
TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.
This page is educational information, not medical advice. It doesn't diagnose low testosterone or decide whether treatment is right for you. The clinical discussion concerns adult men being evaluated for testosterone deficiency. Chest pain, sudden trouble breathing, or stroke symptoms need emergency care right away. One-sided painful leg swelling needs prompt medical assessment; call 911 if it comes with chest pain or breathing trouble.16

What we actually verified — September 29, 2026
We checked public product pages, fees and refund terms, the listed care network, other providers' published prices, and primary clinical and regulatory sources. We verified what those pages disclose—not a patient's bill, clinician assignment, or care. Valhalla's account-only prices, full testing costs, exact prescription, and individual state access remain unconfirmed. We did not create a patient account, contact support, buy treatment, or test checkout. See the full verification record.
See Valhalla's current TRT price (free account) → Valhalla says a free account unlocks pricing and starts its eligibility check. Creating an account isn't a purchase, and it doesn't guarantee treatment. Keep this page open — you'll want the six questions further down.
How much does Valhalla Vitality TRT cost?
Valhalla does not show a current numeric TRT price on the logged-out product page. Its homepage advertises no membership fees and free consultations, but those claims do not establish what medication, required tests, or delivery will cost you.21
We could not verify the older injection, cream, tablet, or bundled-lab prices against a dated official price record. They are not a sound basis for a current quote, a first-year minimum, or a claim that Valhalla is cheapest.
The Valhalla TRT price ledger
| Public source checked | What we verified on the page | What it does not establish | What to get in writing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Testosterone service page | Describes injection, tablet, and cream formats | The exact current product or price for each format | Product name, formulation, and price per fill |
| TRT product listing | Pricing requires a free account | A current monthly or two-month bill | Billing interval and next charge date |
| Kyzatrex listing | A named oral testosterone listing with gated pricing | Supply length or a first-year medication total | Quantity per shipment and expected number of fills |
| At-home lab listing | A separate laboratory product with gated pricing | Current panel contents, repeat-test rules, or inclusion in TRT charges | Initial, confirming, and follow-up testing costs |
| Homepage | Advertises no membership fees and free provider consultations | That every required service is free or bundled | What clinician access and follow-up visits include |
| Terms & Conditions, sections 5–7 | Describe recurring orders, applicable charges, and refunds | The line items on your particular order | Itemized quote, payment dates, and cancellation terms |
This is our public-disclosure audit, checked September 29, 2026. A listed service is provider-stated; a price behind an account is not a verified price.
Why can't you see the price without an account?
On September 29, 2026, Valhalla's TRT product page said "Members only" and asked visitors to create a free account "to see pricing, dosing, and the full details." Its Kyzatrex and at-home lab pages showed the same wall. The site banner read "Valhalla, rebuilt."245
An account requirement isn't proof of anything shady. It does mean two things for you:
- An old price needs a fresh written quote before you use it to budget.
- The number in your account is the one that counts. Bring it back here and run it through the year-one math below.
Is Valhalla's TRT quote a monthly price or a payment per order?
The current public pages do not establish one TRT billing interval. Valhalla's terms say the cycle depends on the subscription selected, so confirm the charge, shipment quantity, and renewal dates together rather than treating a displayed number as a monthly bill.6
A monthly average and the bill on your card are two different things. So are "every two calendar months" and "every 60 days."
Watch for this at checkout
A customer who filed a Better Business Bureau complaint reported choosing billing every two months but receiving a 30-day supply. Valhalla replied on January 9, 2026 that the subscription setup, "including quantity and renewal frequency," is "selected and confirmed by the patient at checkout." That order was for a weight-loss medicine, not TRT. It is a reason to ask about billing and quantity, not proof that the TRT checkout works the same way.9
Before you pay, confirm three things on one screen:
- Billing interval — monthly, every two or three calendar months, or a fixed number of days?
- Quantity per shipment — does one shipment last the whole billing period at the dose your clinician prescribes?
- Next charge date — when does the card get charged again?
If any of the three don't line up, stop and ask support before you pay.
Decode your own Valhalla price
Got your price from your account? Use our TRT cost calculator with these settings:
- Medication cost per billing period: the price your account shows
- Billing periods in the first year: use the actual billing rule. Twelve monthly, six every-other-calendar-month, or four quarterly payments assume an unchanged plan starting at the beginning of the 12-month window.
- Membership fee: enter $0 as provider-stated until your quote confirms it
- Initial lab testing: your panel price
- Everything else (repeat test, follow-up labs, shipping, tax): enter only what Valhalla confirms in writing. Leave the rest blank.
Use the calculator's actual-date fields when the plan bills in fixed days or on irregular dates. For example, an advance charge on day 0 and every 60 days falls seven times before day 365: days 0, 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, and 360. That is a billing example, not a verified Valhalla schedule.
The calculator separates a planning estimate from cash charged on actual dates and flags missing costs. A blank line isn't free. It's a question you haven't asked yet.
The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.
Find My TRT Path is educational and non-diagnostic. It doesn't confirm low testosterone, decide medical eligibility, or guarantee a prescription.
See our privacy policy before entering information into the site's tools.
What will Valhalla TRT cost in the first year?
A verified Valhalla first-year total is not available from the public pages we checked. Your budget needs the medication quote and actual payment dates, plus any separate evaluation, confirming test, follow-up care, shipping, and supplies; a single lab panel does not establish a full year of care.256
A monthly number won't tell you what leaves your bank account, or when. So we split it into three numbers.
Three numbers to know before you pay
| Number | What it answers | How to calculate it from your Valhalla quote |
|---|---|---|
| Due now | What you pay on day one | Add the charges due on your start date, including testing, evaluation, or treatment if charged then; keep later payments separate |
| First 12 months of cash | Every known charge in year one | Add each payment on or after your start date and before the same date next year |
| Monthly average | Year-one cash divided by 12 | Divide the dated cash budget by 12 — an average, not a bill |
Valhalla's testosterone page lists "Register Your Account and Purchase a Therapy" as step one and "Complete Your Medical Questionnaire" as step two. Its terms also describe what happens "if payment for medication was collected prior to clinical review." So you may pay for the first cycle before a clinician reviews you. More on refunds below.36
The year-one budget, by treatment format
| Format under discussion | Medication line in your budget | Testing and care | What keeps the total incomplete |
|---|---|---|---|
| Injection — exact product to confirm | Quoted price per fill × actual fills charged in the year | Add separately billed evaluation, repeat testing, and monitoring | Current price, supply length, and complete inclusions not public |
| Cream — confirm whether compounded | Quoted price per fill × actual fills charged in the year | Use the clinician's plan, not an assumed one-panel package | Current price and refill schedule not public |
| Tablet — exact product to confirm | Quote the specific preparation; do not substitute a Kyzatrex price | Keep any separately billed follow-up care in the budget | Current product, price, and billing interval not public |
| Kyzatrex — FDA-approved oral capsules | Quoted price and quantity per fill × fills charged in the year | Use the prescribed product's monitoring plan | Valhalla's current price and quantity not public |
The service page identifies formats, not a complete fee schedule. Kyzatrex's label establishes its product identity. A formulation name alone does not establish the approval status of an injection, cream, or tablet.
Your first-year budget = medication payments + any separate visits + initial and confirming tests + follow-up labs + supplies + shipping + other quoted fees or taxes.
Do not add a bundled charge twice. Do not subtract an introductory discount from every refill unless the written terms make it recurring. If a required line is unknown, the result is a known subtotal—not a complete total or proof of the cheapest option.
Still unknown — ask before you count them as $0
- A second, confirming testosterone test before treatment
- Follow-up blood work during year one, and how often
- Shipping per order
- Sales tax, which Valhalla's terms say is added "as deemed required"
- Needles, syringes, or other supplies
- Whether the price changes if your dose changes
- Any separately charged visit, required in-person assessment, or records-transfer fee
These are questions to resolve, not a claim that Valhalla charges every fee.6

What does "no membership fee" leave out?
Valhalla advertises no membership fees, but that does not mean no recurring treatment orders. Its public pages do not establish a complete TRT testing and follow-up bundle, so count those items before comparing its quote with a membership program.16
Here's the honest trade.
Valhalla does not publish a TRT-specific follow-up lab schedule or confirm its full lab costs on the logged-out pages we checked. That is a disclosure gap, not proof that its clinicians omit monitoring. No membership fee removes one possible bill; it does not prove the lowest total.
You do not have to accept an unclear quote. Get the monitoring plan and the charges in writing, then compare the same care needs across providers.
What Valhalla says it includes, and what still needs a quote
| Valhalla says it includes | Not established for your TRT order |
|---|---|
| "Free provider consultations" | Whether every required follow-up visit is included |
| "No membership fees" | Whether your selected treatment renews automatically |
| Provider oversight of your plan | A TRT-specific lab schedule and confirming-test price |
| Pharmacy ordering and delivery tracking | Shipping charges and supplies |
| 5% off eligible subscription orders | Whether your TRT product qualifies |
| VIP Rewards points | Whether rewards apply to your order, and when |
Left column: Valhalla homepage and testosterone page, checked September 29, 2026. These are Valhalla's claims; we did not test them as a patient.
Are the VIP Rewards worth much?
Don't count points as cash back. Valhalla's testosterone page says you earn 1 point per dollar and can redeem 50 points for $1 off, with a 500-point minimum and points expiring after 12 months. It lists tier discounts of 1%, 2%, 5%, and 10% at 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 points.3
At that stated earning rate, $1,000 of eligible spending would earn 1,000 points, with a nominal $20 redemption value. That is not a $20 refund or guaranteed first-year saving. Timing, eligible orders, redemption, and tier rules affect what you can use. Valhalla also advertises bonus points, so reaching a tier does not necessarily require the same number of dollars spent.36
The homepage offers 5% off eligible subscription orders. We couldn't confirm whether TRT counts as eligible.1
A discount is worth counting when it appears on your actual order. It shouldn't decide whether the care plan fits.
If monitoring matters more than the membership model
Want follow-up labs built into your plan? Hone Plus publishes included follow-up blood work and consultations in its $135 monthly membership. Medicine is billed separately.2728
Want a membership with regular assessments? Male Excel says its $99 monthly membership includes 60-day assessments and blood work every six months. Confirm the clinician's plan and what extra tests could cost.21
Those are reasons to compare a written quote—not reasons to assume either service is better for your health. The provider comparison below shows the costs and limitations side by side.
Fine with a treatment-order model once the clinician's monitoring plan and costs are clear? Then Valhalla remains an option to investigate. Its no-membership claim is useful; the full quote decides the budget.
Does Valhalla Vitality TRT include lab work?
Valhalla lists an at-home lab product, but its current public listing does not establish the price, panel contents, or whether it is included with TRT. The Endocrine Society calls for compatible symptoms or signs and consistently low results confirmed with repeat early-morning testing; one purchased panel does not establish that the evaluation is complete.51112
Lab work is where "cheap" and "complete" can drift apart. Here's what a responsible testing path looks like, and what to ask about Valhalla's panel.
What a proper diagnosis needs
The Endocrine Society's clinical guideline says to diagnose low testosterone only in men who have symptoms or signs and testosterone that is clearly and consistently low. That means confirming with a repeat test, taken early in the morning while fasting. Its July 2026 statement restates the need for at least two early-morning fasting tests and accurate testing methods.1112
A cutoff such as 300 ng/dL can help a clinician assess a result, but it is not a diagnosis on its own. The laboratory method, reference range, symptoms, health history, and sometimes free testosterone matter.1211
One test isn't a diagnosis. Neither is a symptom quiz, including ours.
What to ask about Valhalla's panel
We could not confirm the current marker list from the gated lab page. The table below explains markers to discuss with the clinician; it does not say Valhalla includes them or that everyone needs all of them.
| Marker | What it means in plain words | Question for the quote |
|---|---|---|
| Total testosterone | All the testosterone in your blood | Is the initial test included, and is a separate confirming test included? |
| Free testosterone | Testosterone not bound to proteins | Is it needed in my evaluation, and how is it measured or calculated? |
| SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin) | A protein that holds testosterone and affects how much is free | Is it part of the ordered panel? |
| Albumin | Another blood protein, used to estimate free testosterone | Is it needed for the method the clinician uses? |
| Estradiol | A form of estrogen | Is there a clinical reason to order it, and is there a separate charge? |
| LH (luteinizing hormone) | A pituitary hormone that signals the testes to make testosterone | How will you check the cause of low testosterone? |
| FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) | A pituitary hormone involved in sperm production | Is it needed to assess the cause or a fertility concern? |
| Prolactin | A hormone that, when high, can point to a pituitary cause | Is it indicated in my case, and is it included? |
| PSA (prostate-specific antigen) | A marker used in assessing prostate health | What prostate evaluation fits my age and risk? |
| Vitamin D | Vitamin level | Why is this test being ordered? It does not confirm low testosterone. |
| Hematocrit | The share of your blood made of red blood cells. Testosterone can raise it. | How will it be checked before and during treatment, and what does that cost? |
Clinical context: Endocrine Society guidance, Kyzatrex prescribing information, and MedlinePlus explanations of testosterone, SHBG, prolactin, and vitamin D.1116
LH and FSH matter because they help show why testosterone is low, and that can change the right treatment. Hematocrit is a safety check before and during treatment. We could not confirm whether Valhalla includes it in a panel or arranges it separately.1116
Three questions to ask about Valhalla's labs
- Do you require a second early-morning testosterone test before prescribing? What does it cost?
- How is hematocrit checked before and during treatment, and what does that cost?
- What follow-up tests will I need in year one, and how often?
We also couldn't confirm whether Valhalla's at-home kit uses a finger-prick sample or a full blood draw. Ask that too. If you already have recent results, ask whether the clinician can use them, how recent they must be, and whether that changes the price. Do not assume an outside result replaces required repeat testing.
If you'd rather get a lab draw near you
Taurus Meds advertises a $49 lab test and doctor review through LabCorp or Quest, followed by treatment at $149 a month with no membership fee. Its terms separately describe a $17.99 fee per billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase. Get the fee and testing inclusions answered in writing first.2425
Hone Plus publishes a confirming test that includes total testosterone, hematocrit, PSA, and prolactin. Its membership page lists $45 in-lab or $80 at home, while its TRT lab-schedule page lists $50 in-lab or $80 at home. A separate retesting FAQ says clinically necessary retesting has no extra charge. Get the applicable fee in writing rather than assuming either free testing or the lowest listed price.272829
New to testing? Our TRT blood test guide explains what each test is for.
Is Valhalla's testosterone compounded or FDA-approved?
Valhalla lists Kyzatrex, an FDA-approved oral testosterone capsule, and describes injection, cream, and tablet treatment formats. Its compounded-drug disclosure does not identify every current prescription, so get the exact product and whether it is FDA-approved or compounded before comparing prices.3416
Credit where it's due: Valhalla's public pages disclose that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. That disclosure does not make a compounded preparation equivalent to an approved product.213
Compounded vs. FDA-approved, side by side
| Question | Compounded testosterone preparation | FDA-approved Kyzatrex |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A preparation made by a compounding pharmacy | A finished oral testosterone undecanoate product the FDA reviewed and approved |
| FDA approval of that preparation | No | Yes |
| FDA-approved prescribing information for that exact product | No; pharmacy directions are not FDA approval | Yes |
| Current Valhalla price | Get the exact preparation and quote | Price requires sign-in |
| What to compare | Formulation, pharmacy, quantity, clinician's reason for using it, and monitoring costs | Prescribed quantity, pharmacy, monitoring costs, and full care fees |
Sources: FDA's compounded-drug explanation and Kyzatrex prescribing information.
"Compounded" doesn't mean illegal, and it doesn't mean unsafe by default. It means the FDA didn't review that preparation for safety, effectiveness, or quality before it was sold. It is not the same as an FDA-approved generic.13
Which pharmacies fill Valhalla prescriptions?
Valhalla's contact page names three compounding pharmacy partners:
- The Pharmacy Hub — Miami, Florida
- Strive Pharmacy — Gilbert, Arizona
- Rx Compound Store — Miami, Florida
These are Valhalla's published partner listings, checked September 29, 2026—not an independent pharmacy-license audit.7
That list doesn't tell you which pharmacy will fill your prescription. Ask which one, then confirm it holds a license to ship to your state. Your state board of pharmacy can tell you. Also ask whether the prescription can be filled at a pharmacy you choose; we did not confirm Valhalla's policy on outside pharmacy fills.
Testosterone is a controlled substance
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance in the U.S. That means federal law regulates it more tightly than most prescriptions. You need a valid prescription from a licensed clinician. No questionnaire, payment, or account guarantees one.1718
What changed on testosterone labels
In February 2025, the FDA told makers of testosterone products to remove boxed-warning language about an increased risk of heart attack and stroke, after reviewing a large trial called TRAVERSE. In the same action, it required a warning that testosterone can raise blood pressure, across the whole class.14
Kyzatrex's current label reflects that. Its old boxed warning about blood pressure was removed in July 2025, and blood pressure increases are now listed as a warning that calls for regular checks. "FDA-approved" doesn't mean "no risks." It means the product was reviewed for its approved use, with known risks described in its label—not that all long-term risks are settled.1612
FDA requested further testosterone-label changes in June 2026 concerning age-related hypogonadism, prostate cancer, and enlarged-prostate warnings. A requested change is not proof that every product label has been updated. The Kyzatrex label posted on DailyMed and updated August 26, 2026 still includes the age-related limitation described below; check the current label for the exact product with the prescriber.1516
Want the format differences explained? See our TRT treatment options guide.
How much is Kyzatrex at Valhalla, and is it cheaper elsewhere?
Valhalla's current Kyzatrex price requires sign-in, so a cheaper-than comparison cannot be verified. Henry Meds publicly lists a $179 monthly Kyzatrex plan and says visits, labs, medication, supplies, shipping, and ongoing support are included; that is a provider-stated offer, not proof it fits your case.431
For an FDA-approved oral testosterone, price-check before you commit.
| Where | Price | What it covers or what to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Valhalla Vitality | Current quote required | Kyzatrex price, quantity, supply length, labs, visits, and delivery |
| Retail pharmacy with a separate prescriber | Pharmacy quote required | Medicine only unless the quote states otherwise; add clinician and testing costs |
| Henry Meds | $179/month, provider-stated | Henry says visits, labs, medicine, supplies, shipping, and ongoing care are included; Kyzatrex is not available through this offer in California |
Sources: Valhalla Kyzatrex listing and Henry's TRT page, checked September 29, 2026. A pharmacy-only price and a care bundle are not the same cost.
We don't earn anything from Henry Meds. Its published Kyzatrex offer belongs in the comparison, but we cannot call it cheaper than an unknown Valhalla quote. Henry's public criteria for men specify ages 35–65 plus clinical requirements. That is a provider restriction, not the drug's FDA-approved age range.3116
Kyzatrex is FDA-approved for testosterone replacement in adult males with conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of testosterone made by the body. Its label says safety and effectiveness for age-related hypogonadism have not been established, and it isn't for use in women. How many capsules you take, and how long a bottle lasts, is your clinician's call.16
That is why a bottle price without quantity and supply length is not a yearly budget. Do not compare the tablet options as though they were interchangeable.
Can you cancel Valhalla or get a refund?
Valhalla's terms say you can cancel a subscription through your account, effective at the end of the current paid term. They generally make prescriptions non-refundable once dispensed, with limited error or fulfillment exceptions; when treatment is not clinically appropriate, prepaid medication is eligible for an original-payment refund or VIP credit under the stated policy.6
These rules come from Valhalla's Terms & Conditions, last updated February 18, 2026. Here's what they mean for your money.
What you agree to at checkout
| Rule | What Valhalla's terms say | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-renewal | Your subscription "will continue and automatically renew unless canceled," without asking before each charge | Set a reminder a few days before each renewal |
| Cancelling | Cancel "at any time by logging into your account"; it "will take effect at the end of the current paid term" | Do not assume cancelling mid-cycle refunds the cycle you're in |
| Not approved for treatment | You aren't charged for medicine; if you prepaid, you choose a refund to the original payment method or VIP points | For money back, choose the original-payment refund. Points have "no cash value" |
| Consultation fees | Non-refundable once services have been rendered and reviewed by a licensed provider | Valhalla advertises free consultations; confirm no TRT consult fee applies to you |
| Dispensed medicine | Generally non-refundable once dispensed by the pharmacy | Dispensing can happen before shipping; cancellation is not the same as a medication refund |
| Damaged, wrong, or missing orders | Report within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery, with order number, tracking number, and photos as applicable | Open the box the day it arrives; report a delivery problem promptly |
| Error exceptions | Limited refunds may apply to verified pharmacy error, shipping damage, or fulfillment problems; cases are reviewed individually | An ordinary change of mind is not the same as an incorrect or damaged order |
| Price changes | Valhalla "may change prices at any time"; its subscription section also addresses notice under applicable law | Screenshot your checkout price and schedule |
| Disputes | The terms specify individual arbitration, class-action restrictions, exceptions, and a New York venue | Read the dispute section before agreeing; this is a description of the contract, not a ruling on enforceability |
Source: Valhalla Terms & Conditions, sections 5–7 and 18. These are published terms, not a tested refund or cancellation outcome.
What about privacy and access to your medical records?
Valhalla's general terms say its services "are not tailored to comply with" HIPAA, the federal health-privacy law. Section 30, headed Telehealth Urgent Care Services, later says telehealth communications comply with HIPAA. The checked text does not resolve how those statements apply to TRT or which entity holds your clinical records.6
Do not treat a badge or that wording as proof that every part of the platform has the same privacy coverage. Before sharing medical details, ask for the treating practice's privacy notice and how to obtain your lab results, prescription history, and visit notes. Ask how to transfer them to a new clinician, what it costs, and whether access continues after cancellation. Valhalla's general privacy policy is not a substitute for that TRT-specific answer.
Your 6 questions before checkout
Copy these. Send them to Valhalla support before you pay, and keep the written answers.
- For the format my provider recommends, what's my exact price, billing interval, and quantity per shipment?
- Do I need a second early-morning testosterone test before you prescribe, and what does it cost?
- What follow-up labs will I need in year one — including hematocrit — how often, and what does each cost?
- What are shipping and supplies per order, and is sales tax added in my state?
- Which pharmacy will fill my prescription, and which licensed clinician will manage my care in my state?
- If I'm not approved, or I cancel, what exactly is refunded, and how? Is there a minimum term, prepaid commitment, or balance still due?
Who handles refills, support, and a move to another state?
Valhalla handles questions through a ticket system: log in, then go to Support → Create a New Ticket. Its terms say to email support if you're unhappy with the service.76
The homepage advertises a 24–48-hour provider review and care support. That is not a promised TRT refill turnaround or a guarantee of a same-day clinician response.1
Before treatment, ask how far ahead to request a refill, what lab or visit requirements can delay it, whether the same clinician follows you, and how to escalate a clinical question. Ask what happens to care and any prepaid order if you move or travel to another state. A renewal payment is not the same as clinical approval to dispense more medication.
If an existing prescription may run out, contact the prescribing clinician promptly for a continuity-of-care plan. Do not wait for a billing dispute to be resolved before raising a treatment interruption.

Is Valhalla Vitality legit?
Valhalla has a live service website, published terms, and a directory naming clinicians and pharmacy partners. Those disclosures help you investigate it, but neither a company review score nor a website badge verifies the clinician, pharmacy, prescription, or state access for your care.76
"Legit" means different things to different people. So we split what we checked from what Valhalla says.
What we checked, what Valhalla says, and what we couldn't confirm
| Type | Detail |
|---|---|
| We checked | Valhalla publishes terms, product listings, a clinician directory, and three named pharmacy partners |
| We checked | The inspected product pages disclose that compounded drugs aren't FDA-approved |
| We checked | Trustpilot displayed 4.3/5 from 1,558 reviews; 73% five-star, 11% one-star; 264 reviews in the past 12 months, when checked September 29, 2026 |
| Valhalla says | Its terms describe it as registered in New York and give a Howard Beach business address; we did not independently verify a state corporate registration |
| Valhalla says | "U.S. licensed medical providers," "24–48h provider review," "50 states served nationwide" |
| Couldn't confirm | A current certification or accreditation through an independent issuer; a badge is not confirmation |

Valhalla's Trustpilot profile covers more than TRT. It has a paid Trustpilot subscription and invites customer reviews, according to the profile. Reviews describe experiences. They can't prove a product is safe or effective, or show what a typical TRT patient will pay.10
What customers say about cost and process
We picked three reviews that speak to price, process, or refills — not results.
"I wish the price was more affordable, but there is not much I can do about that." — Paula V., Trustpilot, a Valhalla testosterone therapy customer (experience dated August 9, 2026)
"The initial process was a bit confusing as I didn't know if I needed a consultation or not before I could order medication." — Krista Presnick, Trustpilot, July 20, 2026 (treatment not specified; attribution shown in the profile's featured review excerpt)
"Kind of hard to keep up with a regiment if you can't get the next month's Rx." — Morgan Reinking, Trustpilot, posted September 13, 2026, with an experience dated September 12, 2026 (treatment not specified; 2-star review about support after the first month)
Source: Trustpilot's Valhalla profile, checked September 29, 2026. We have no connection to these reviewers. We did not independently verify their care, compensation or other relationships, or whether their circumstances match adult-male hypogonadism. Individual experiences vary and aren't typical results.
Valhalla's response to Morgan acknowledges inconsistent support and says its team will reach out. We did not confirm the outcome.10
These reports are useful questions to bring to support: how ordering starts, what your plan costs, and who handles a delayed refill. They are not evidence that every patient has the same experience.
Can Valhalla treat you in your state?
Valhalla's homepage says it serves all 50 states, while its contact page lists prescribing credentials associated with 26 states across the displayed network. That is a count of published directory entries, not a verified coverage map or an audit of active licenses; confirm your assigned clinician and access before paying.17
This one surprised us. So we did the count.
Valhalla's contact page lists clinicians and their state license numbers. We tallied the states listed beside its physicians and advanced-practice nurses. We left out the entries labeled only registered nurse or chiropractor, because those entries do not show a prescribing credential. We did not independently verify any listed license's status or scope.7
States named beside listed Valhalla prescribing clinicians (September 29, 2026)
| Group | States |
|---|---|
| Core clinician list — 24 states | Alabama, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia |
| Added by the wider listed network — 2 states | South Carolina, Wisconsin |
| No listed prescriber found — 24 states | Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming |
Source: Valhalla contact page, core clinician and wider network lists, checked September 29, 2026. We counted each state once: 24 in the core list, with South Carolina and Wisconsin added by the wider network. This counts the 50 states only, not Washington, D.C., or territories. We did not look each license up with its state board.
Read this carefully. "No listed prescriber" does not mean Valhalla can't treat you there. Its public list may not include every clinician it works with. It does mean you should ask, "Who will prescribe for me in my state?" before paying.
For comparison, Male Excel publicly excludes 11 states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island (checked September 29, 2026).21
What federal rules say right now
The fourth federal temporary extension allows qualifying DEA-registered clinicians to prescribe Schedule II–V controlled medications through audio-video telemedicine without a prior in-person medical evaluation through December 31, 2026, subject to its conditions and other applicable law. It does not make an online questionnaire alone sufficient for a testosterone prescription.18
That extension doesn't override your state's laws or your clinician's judgment. Some people may still need an in-person visit, and the rules could change after 2026. Your physical location at the visit matters; check access again before a move or travel.1819
How does Valhalla's TRT cost compare to Male Excel, Taurus, Hone, and Henry?
Valhalla cannot be ranked as cheapest without a current complete quote. The other programs publish prices that support the budget models below, but different inclusions, unresolved fees, prescription details, and billing dates keep these from being an all-in price ranking.
Same columns for everyone. That's the only fair way to compare.
| Valhalla Vitality | Hone Plus | Male Excel | Taurus Meds | Henry Meds | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Membership fee | None advertised | $135/month | $99/month, required | Offer: none; terms: $17.99 per billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase | No separate fee stated for the quoted plans |
| Starting testosterone price | Current quote required | Cypionate from $28 per vial, plus membership; a vial is not a verified month's supply | Injections from $120/month, billed every other month, plus membership and shipping | $149/month "all inclusive" offer; resolve fee terms | Compounded treatment from $129/month; Kyzatrex $179/month |
| Testing to start | At-home product listed; cost and inclusions unconfirmed | $45 initial; confirming-test fee conflicts across official pages | $99 consultation with at-home kit; extra confirming-test cost not established | $49 test and doctor review at LabCorp or Quest; confirm what repeat testing includes | Included, Henry says; confirm the initial and repeat-test process |
| Follow-up labs included? | Not established by the logged-out pages | Yes, on a published schedule; confirm extra testing | Every 6 months, Male Excel says; confirm extra testing | Offer says all inclusive; exact schedule and repeat tests need confirmation | Included, Henry says; exact schedule needs confirmation |
| Medicine type | Exact prescription to confirm; separately listed Kyzatrex is FDA-approved | Cream and troche marked compounded; confirm the exact injectable product | Cream is compounded; exact injectable product and approval status need confirmation | Confirm the exact product and whether it is compounded or FDA-approved | Compounded treatment or FDA-approved Kyzatrex, priced separately |
| First-year budget model, not a complete quote | Cannot calculate from public prices | $1,665 + applicable confirming-test fee + medicine | $2,727 + shipping and any unquoted extras, using six medication payments | $1,837 on the no-membership offer; $2,052.88 only if an extra $17.99 applies every month | $1,548 compounded starting-rate model; $2,148 Kyzatrex model |
| State access | Advertises 50; directory entries mention 26; confirm individual access | Confirm the exact service in your state | Excludes 11 states listed above | Confirm your state and assigned clinician | Kyzatrex offer excludes California; men's public criteria specify ages 35–65 |
| Cancellation or refund limit | Generally no medication refund after dispensing; listed exceptions apply | Membership and prescription orders must be addressed separately; no partial-month membership refund | 90-day guarantee covers eligible membership fees only, not all costs | Published refund policy requires 72 hours' notice before billing; guarantee wording differs | Remaining balance may be due on a multi-month plan |

Official sources: Valhalla homepage, TRT listing, and terms; Hone Plus membership, lab schedule, retesting FAQ, and cancellation policy; Male Excel pricing, homepage, and guarantee; Taurus offer, terms, and refund policy; Henry TRT page. Inclusions and access are provider-stated, not patient-tested.
The arithmetic behind the comparison
| Program | Calculation and limits |
|---|---|
| Male Excel injections | $99 start + ($99 membership × 12) + ($240 medication charge × 6) = $2,727. This assumes six every-other-calendar-month medication payments, unchanged starting prices, and 12 membership payments. Shipping, taxes where applicable, and unquoted extra tests remain outside it. |
| Taurus Meds | $49 start + ($149 × 12) = $1,837 under the no-membership offer. If the separate $17.99 fee applies monthly, add $215.88 for $2,052.88. The second number is a fee scenario, not a verified bill. |
| Hone Plus | $45 initial test + ($135 membership × 12) = $1,665 before confirmation and medicine. Adding a $45, $50, or $80 confirming test gives $1,710, $1,715, or $1,745, respectively, before medicine. A no-extra-charge confirmation would leave $1,665. The conflicting fee needs a written answer. |
| Henry Meds | $129 × 12 = $1,548 for the compounded starting-rate model; $179 × 12 = $2,148 for Kyzatrex. Both assume 12 unchanged monthly charges and the provider-stated inclusions, not a verified individual prescription or payment plan. |
Our arithmetic from the official sources above. These models describe the stated assumptions; they do not establish identical care, equivalent medicines, or the lowest complete bill.
Read these differences before choosing an alternative
Male Excel's published medication prices include thyroid tablets as well as testosterone. Thyroid medicine is not TRT. Ask why it is proposed, whether it is optional, and what the quote would be without it. Male Excel's terms also say prescriptions are filled through contracted pharmacies and cannot be sent to a different pharmacy. That matters if pharmacy choice or insurance reimbursement is a priority.2022
The Male Excel guarantee is limited to the first three months of membership fees for eligible new members who meet its requirements. It requires a request within 30 days after the 90-day period ends; it is not a refund promise for medication, testing, or shipping.23
Taurus's advertised guarantee and its written refund policy do not describe the same broad refund promise. The policy limits ordinary cancellation refunds and calls for at least 72 hours' notice before renewal. Ask which terms apply to the TRT offer, what you may be charged before the clinical decision, and what would be refunded.2426
Our editorial read: Valhalla's no-membership model is worth comparing only after its full quote is clear. A membership can include useful services, but a higher charge does not prove better care. Cheap is only cheap when the pieces you still need are counted.

- You want a LabCorp or Quest draw and a stated monthly treatment price → Compare Taurus Meds, after the fee, testing, and refund questions are answered in writing.
- You want an FDA-approved oral testosterone comparison → Check Henry's Kyzatrex offer against the Valhalla quote, subject to state and clinical fit.
- You're trying to conceive or have a complex health history → Start with the appropriate clinician in the next section; lack of repeat testing calls for evaluation, not automatic specialist care.

Who should get an evaluation or see a specialist before paying Valhalla?
Get a clinician-led evaluation before paying for treatment if low testosterone has not been confirmed. Trying to conceive or having prostate, breast, blood-clotting, heart, sleep-apnea, or pituitary concerns can change the care route and may call for a specialist; testosterone can lower sperm production, and no program can guarantee fertility protection or recovery.1116
This section can save you money and time. For some readers, buying a TRT plan isn't the right first stop.
When you plan to have a child
Testosterone from outside your body can signal your testes to make less sperm. The medical word for sperm production is spermatogenesis. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone in men planning to have a child soon.1116
That doesn't mean TRT always causes infertility. It isn't birth control either. And nobody can promise sperm production will return on a set timeline after stopping. If a family is in your near-term plans, start with a reproductive urologist.1116
Not everything Valhalla sells is TRT
Valhalla also lists enclomiphene and gonadorelin, but its public product pages gate the details. Neither one is testosterone. We could not establish a current FDA-approved finished product for either Valhalla listing, so this guide does not present either as FDA-approved TRT or as a fertility-preserving add-on.8
They're not a guaranteed way to protect fertility. Decisions about them belong with a clinician who handles fertility. Our fertility and TRT guide explains the questions to discuss.
Other reasons to resolve clinical questions first
- You've had only one testosterone test, or none: arrange evaluation and appropriate repeat testing.
- You have a history of prostate or breast cancer.
- You have untreated severe sleep apnea, a high red blood cell count, or a recent heart attack or stroke.
- A doctor has mentioned a pituitary or testicular problem.
- Your symptoms are sudden, severe, or unusual.
The Endocrine Society lists several of these conditions as reasons not to start testosterone without the appropriate assessment or resolution. The clinician should decide whether you need an in-person exam, specialist care, or a different treatment; an online cost guide cannot clear those concerns.11
A note on who this page is for
This page covers adult men being evaluated for testosterone deficiency. It is not a treatment guide for women, adolescents, gender-affirming care, bodybuilding, or nonmedical testosterone use. Kyzatrex's label is for adult males and states it is not indicated for women. Other populations need their own clinical guidance—not this article's adult-male evaluation framework.16

Does Valhalla take insurance, HSA, or FSA?
We did not verify TRT-specific insurance billing or HSA/FSA card acceptance on Valhalla's public pages. Eligible prescribed medicine and medical care may qualify for HSA or FSA funds, but plan rules and itemized expenses—not simply card acceptance—determine eligibility.632
Valhalla's terms mention insurance billing "where applicable" in the section titled Telehealth Urgent Care Services. That is not confirmation that its TRT service bills your insurer. Get a TRT-specific answer before assuming reimbursement.6
If insurance is your priority, an online cash program may not be your cheapest route.
- With insurance: Your own doctor, an in-network lab, and a covered FDA-approved product may cost less than a cash program. Ask your plan whether your exact product is covered and whether prior approval is needed; verify clinician and lab network status too.
- With HSA or FSA: Prescription medicine and medical care can qualify. Ask your plan administrator how it treats each line on your receipt. A card being accepted and a charge being eligible are two different questions.32
Don't assume a compounded preparation is covered—or that an FDA-approved product is automatically covered. Ask about the exact prescription. Ask Valhalla whether it provides the itemized receipts or other documents your plan needs; we did not confirm its reimbursement-document process.
Our TRT cost guide covers insurance, Medicare, and denials in detail.
What did we actually verify?
We checked the public sources below on September 29, 2026, rebuilt the cost comparisons, and recounted the states in Valhalla's published directory. This is editorial research—not a patient trial, an independent licensing audit, or a verified quote from an account.
Last verified: September 29, 2026
What we checked on Valhalla's site: homepage; testosterone service page; TRT, Kyzatrex, enclomiphene, gonadorelin, and at-home lab product pages; hormone category; consultation page; contact page with its clinician and pharmacy lists; privacy policy; Terms & Conditions, last updated February 18, 2026.
What we checked on other sites: current Male Excel pricing, testing, membership, state exclusions, terms, and guarantee; Taurus's $49 offer, terms, and refund policy; Hone Plus pricing, lab schedule, retesting FAQ, and cancellation policy; Henry's TRT offer; the original Trustpilot profile and BBB complaint record; FDA notices and compounding information; Kyzatrex prescribing information; Endocrine Society guidance and its July 2026 statement; DEA/HHS telemedicine materials; IRS publications; and the linked public TRT Provider Guide resources.
What the original data assets establish: which costs are publicly disclosed, the assumptions behind each comparator's budget model, the difference between calendar-month and fixed-day payments, and which states appear in the displayed care-network entries. They do not establish a complete Valhalla price or a provider ranking.
Provider-stated, not independently tested: no membership fees; free consultations; 24–48-hour provider review; 50 states served; directory and pharmacy-partner information; rewards; other programs' included care and access.
What we could not confirm: Valhalla's prices inside an account; full initial and follow-up testing costs; the current lab panel and sample method; shipping and supplies; the exact prescription and dispensing pharmacy; patient-specific clinician access and licensing; records-transfer procedures; current third-party certification; and whether TRT orders qualify for Subscribe & Save. The older Valhalla prices were not verified against a dated official price record and are not used as current budget inputs.
What we did not do: create a patient account, pay, receive medicine, contact support, or test checkout or cancellation. This page has not been reviewed by a clinician.
Not used as proof: Reviews and star ratings describe customer experiences. We didn't use them to establish price, policy, safety, or results.

What else should you know about Valhalla Vitality TRT pricing?
Use these answers to check the cost and policy questions that remain after the main comparison. A current written quote and your clinician's evaluation matter more than an old price or a company review score.
How much is Valhalla Vitality testosterone per month?
Valhalla's current public TRT page requires a free account to see pricing. Get the charge per order, supply length, and renewal dates before turning it into a monthly average.2
Does Valhalla Vitality charge a membership fee?
Valhalla says it doesn't. That does not mean treatment orders cannot renew automatically or that testing and delivery are free. Check your specific order.16
What does Valhalla TRT cost for a full year?
A complete current first-year total cannot be calculated from the public prices. Add your medication payments, required evaluation and testing, follow-up care, shipping, supplies, and other quoted charges. Don't count a single lab panel as a full testing plan.25
How much do I pay up front at Valhalla?
The public pages do not establish the amount. Valhalla's testosterone page places a therapy purchase before the questionnaire in its stated process, and its terms address prepayment before clinical review. Ask exactly what can be charged before the clinician's decision and what would be refunded.36
Does Valhalla require blood work for TRT?
Valhalla lists lab testing, but the checked public pages do not establish the full current TRT testing protocol. Ask about initial and confirming early-morning tests, hematocrit, any needed prostate assessment, and follow-up costs. Clinical guidance requires compatible symptoms or signs and consistently low results, not one test or a quiz alone.511
Is Valhalla's testosterone FDA-approved?
Kyzatrex, which Valhalla lists, is FDA-approved. A compounded preparation is not. The generic TRT listing does not identify the exact finished product you would receive, so confirm that product before paying.241613
Which pharmacy does Valhalla use?
Valhalla's contact page lists three compounding pharmacy partners: The Pharmacy Hub and Rx Compound Store in Miami, and Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, Arizona. Ask which one will fill your prescription.7
How do I cancel Valhalla Vitality?
The terms say to log in and cancel your subscription, with cancellation effective at the end of the current paid term. Medication is generally non-refundable once dispensed, not just once shipped; the policy has limited pharmacy-error, shipping-damage, and fulfillment exceptions.6
What if Valhalla's provider doesn't approve me?
Valhalla's terms say you won't be charged for medicine if treatment is not clinically appropriate. If you already paid for medication, you can choose a refund to the original payment method or VIP points. Separately rendered and reviewed services may be non-refundable.6
Is Valhalla cheaper than Male Excel?
That cannot be verified without a current complete Valhalla quote. Male Excel's injection starting-rate model is $2,727 for the first year before shipping and unquoted extras, assuming a $99 start fee, 12 $99 membership payments, and six $240 medication payments. Compare all required care, not partial totals.20
Is Valhalla available in my state?
Valhalla says it serves all 50 states. Our count found 26 states in its published prescribing-clinician entries, but that is not a verified coverage or licensing map. Ask who would treat you in the state where you'll be physically located.1719
Does Valhalla take insurance?
We did not verify TRT-specific insurance billing. An insurance clause in its urgent-care terms does not settle that question. Ask Valhalla and your insurer about the exact clinician, tests, and prescription.6
Will TRT from Valhalla affect my fertility?
Testosterone can lower sperm production. When a child is in your plans now or soon, see a reproductive urologist or other fertility-focused clinician before starting any TRT.1116
Can I use an old Reddit or review-site price to budget?
Only as a starting point for questions. Prices, products, and billing options can differ; make sure a quoted amount concerns TRT rather than another treatment. Use a current written quote, not an old post, for the payment calendar.
What happens to my price after the first year?
We did not verify a separate introductory or month-13 Valhalla TRT price. Ask what each charge becomes at renewal and whether a discount expires. Do not assume that points or a first-order offer will reduce every future bill.6
