Blokes TRT reviews need context: the shared Trustpilot rating is not TRT-specific. Blokes may fit adult men with confirmed low testosterone who accept prepayment: its $99 monthly rate means $1,188 upfront. It is not a month-to-month plan; state exclusions, near-term fertility plans and the actual prescription can change the choice. 1 8 9

Blokes TRT at a glance (checked September 24, 2026)
| What Blokes publishes | What to know before paying |
|---|---|
| Plans | $149/mo for 3 months ($447 upfront) · $129/mo for 6 months ($774 upfront) · $99/mo for 12 months ($1,188 upfront). 1 |
| First-year subtotal | With the standard $149 starter panel: $1,337 (12-month) · $1,697 (6-month) · $1,937 (3-month), assuming unchanged renewal prices. Not a guaranteed all-in quote. 1 3 |
| Starter lab | Complete Panel, $149 list price, includes a 30-minute clinician visit. A separate landing page displays a $74 new-customer offer; confirm the actual checkout price and terms. 3 6 |
| Included in the monthly rate | Medication, clinician consults and follow-up labs, per Blokes. Your exact order and any additional testing or charges still need confirmation. 1 |
| Refunds | General policy: subscriptions and labs are non-refundable. The lab product page describes a regional access exception; cancellation notice also matters. 3 4 5 |
| States | Main TRT page excludes AL, AR, CT, DE, GA, HI, LA, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, OK, PA, RI, SC. A second page omits MS. D.C. is not explicitly confirmed. 1 6 |
| Medication | Testosterone cypionate injections are named. The FAQ also mentions capsules and creams without identifying each product. Compounded drugs may be used. 1 |
| Insurance | Not billed for TRT. Blokes advertises HSA/FSA payment, subject to the payment process and your plan's rules. 1 5 6 |
| Follow-ups | About 6 weeks after starting, then about every 3 months, per Blokes; the clinician may adjust timing. 1 |
| FDA warning letter | June 8, 2026 — concerns claims about compounded weight-loss drugs, not a finding about its TRT program. 7 |
Blokes is a good fit if: low testosterone has been properly confirmed, you live in a state it serves, you can accept the full prepaid term even if care changes, and you want medication, clinician visits and follow-up labs in one bill. 1 4 9
Skip Blokes if: you need a month-to-month treatment plan, you live in one of its excluded states, or you're trying to have a baby soon. If you need a specific FDA-approved product at your own pharmacy, get that arrangement confirmed before paying; the public TRT offer does not establish it. 1 9
Scope: U.S. adult men evaluating testosterone deficiency. This is not a guide to gender-affirming hormone care, treatment for women or adolescents, or nonmedical performance use.
Educational information, not medical advice. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance and needs a valid prescription. Chest pain, trouble breathing or stroke symptoms? Call 911, not a telehealth company. A new painful, swollen leg needs prompt medical care; do not wait for a routine message reply. 10 11 12
The catch: the full term is paid upfront, and Blokes' general policy says hormone subscriptions are non-refundable. Stay a year, and its annual plan has a lower published subscription cost than renewing its shorter plans. Leave in month three, and the unused months do not become a refund under that policy. Scroll to one table in this review — what quitting early really costs — to see the difference. 1 4
Three more things can change the answer before you get there. Blokes' main product page excludes testosterone service in 16 states. Its own FAQ takes a looser view of "low" than the medical guidelines do. And it may prescribe compounded medication. 1 9

What we actually verified — September 24, 2026
Sources we read: Blokes' TRT product and landing pages, its lab-panel pages, its Refund & Return Policy, its Terms of Use (last updated September 15, 2025), the FDA warning letter, and the Joi and Blokes Trustpilot profile. We also rechecked the named alternatives' current official pricing and policy pages. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Confirmed as published: plan prices and upfront charges; the general no-refund policy and regional lab exception; the 3-month minimum and 30-day notice language; the main page's 16-state exclusion list and the Mississippi mismatch; the $149 panel's listed tests; seven named pharmacy partners; and the compounded-drug disclosure. Those are provider-stated terms, not independently tested service outcomes. We independently checked the arithmetic and read the FDA's own record.
Not independently confirmed: the credentials of the clinician assigned to you, dispensing-pharmacy licenses for your order, response times, what each patient's order includes, or patient-count marketing claims.
Still open for your quote:
- whether a second, confirming morning testosterone test is required and what it costs;
- your exact medication, approval or compounded status, and dispensing pharmacy;
- renewal length, final cancellation date and any further charge on your prepaid plan;
- the lab promotion available to you and the complete price, including any regional or checkout charges.
Get those answers before you pay.
Not done: we did not buy a plan, complete an intake, contact support, or talk to a Blokes clinician. Method: How We Review TRT Providers.
The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.
Is Blokes TRT legit?
Blokes is a real telehealth company with a live TRT offer, published prices and named pharmacy partners. Its stated lab-and-clinician requirement is not a blanket safety or licensing clearance. The FDA's June 2026 warning letter concerns compounded weight-loss drug marketing, not its testosterone program. 1 5 7
"Legit" can mean a few different things. Here's how Blokes measures up on each.
Who you're actually buying from. Blokes is the men's side of Joi + Blokes. The old blokes.co address now redirects to joiandblokes.com, and the women's brand, Joi, shares the same website, terms and review profile. The company was founded by Josh and Katy Whalen. 5 8 13 45
Blokes' Terms say the company does not practice medicine itself. It connects you to licensed medical practices and outside pharmacies. It also means the medical practice and clinician responsible for your care are not interchangeable with "Blokes" the brand; ask for their names and the clinician's license details. 5
Green flags we confirmed:
- Labs come first in the published process. The TRT page marks the program "Lab + clinician visit required." We did not test how that rule is applied to individual patients. 1
- Prices are published, including the upfront totals, not just a monthly teaser. 1
- Pharmacy partners are named. Blokes' Terms list seven pharmacies by name and address. That does not identify which one will fill your testosterone. 5
- The compounded-drug disclosure is on the product page itself. It isn't buried in the fine print. 1
The FDA warning letter, in plain English. The FDA dated its letter to Joi and Blokes dba Joi + Blokes on June 8, 2026, after reviewing joiandblokes.com in March 2026. It asked for a written response within 15 business days. The letter describes false or misleading compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide marketing: branding that suggested Joi + Blokes was the compounder, and comparisons that implied the compounded drugs had the same FDA review as approved products. 7
A warning letter is the FDA's formal notice of what it considers violations. It is not a court ruling, a recall, or a finding about testosterone care. For you, it's a signal about the company's drug-marketing claims, not proof your TRT would be unsafe. The FDA letter page we checked did not link a close-out letter; that does not tell us whether the company has responded or what action the FDA may take next. 7
Yellow flags to weigh:
- Blokes' own FAQ takes a looser view of low testosterone than the medical guidelines do. More on that below. 1 9
- Its star rating mixes men's and women's care. What the reviews really show. 8
- Its Terms include individual arbitration and liability limits, with stated exceptions such as small-claims actions. This is a description of the contract, not a conclusion about whether every provision is enforceable. 5
- Its TRT page uses Joe Rogan podcast clips featuring people it describes as Blokes partners. Those are promotional material, not independent reviews. 1
None of those make Blokes a scam. They're the things a careful buyer checks. The first one worth checking is the price.
How much does Blokes TRT cost?
Blokes publishes rates of $99, $129 or $149 a month for 12-, 6- or 3-month terms, with the entire term paid upfront. Adding the standard $149 panel gives first-year subtotals of $1,337, $1,697 or $1,937, assuming unchanged renewals; these are not complete personal quotes. Blokes says medication, clinician consults and follow-up labs are included in the subscription. 1 3
Blokes TRT plans and first-year cost scenarios
| Plan (Blokes' name) | Monthly equivalent | Commitment | Subscription charged upfront | First-year subtotal with $149 panel | Subtotal if the $74 lab offer applies |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flex Plan | $149 | 3 months | $447 | $1,937 (4 × $447 + $149) | $1,862 |
| Commit & Save | $129 | 6 months | $774 | $1,697 (2 × $774 + $149) | $1,622 |
| Full Year Commitment | $99 | 12 months | $1,188 | $1,337 ($1,188 + $149) | $1,262 |
Our math from Blokes' published prices, checked September 24, 2026. The subscription-only annual amounts are $1,788, $1,548 and $1,188. The table assumes renewed terms keep the same price; it excludes any additional required testing, regional draw charges, tax, shipping, processing fee or add-on not included in your actual order. We did not complete checkout. The separate landing page displays $74 for the Complete Panel alongside "50% off" and a $149 list price; those figures do not match exactly. Get the actual lab charge and offer terms before counting on a discount. 1 3 5 6
Here's the thing to notice. "$99 a month" is real, but it isn't monthly billing. It means $1,188 is the upfront subscription payment, separate from any startup charge. The 3-month Flex plan is the closest thing Blokes has to a short commitment, and it still collects $447 upfront. Over a year at unchanged rates, that flexibility costs you $600 more in subscription payments than the Full Year plan. 1
What gets you started
Blokes' published process starts with labs and a clinician visit. The Complete Panel costs $149, checks 56 blood markers, and includes a 30-minute visit with a clinician. Its men's labs page describes a Quest draw, with BioReference used in New York and New Jersey. The individual panel page describes different regional options, so confirm the actual draw arrangement before purchasing. 2 3
Blokes says most lab results are available in 7–14 days, then visible in the patient portal, with an email to schedule the review. That is a provider estimate for results—not a guaranteed appointment, prescription or delivery date. 2
Already have recent bloodwork? Blokes says labs from the last 90 days can sometimes be used. It offers a $59 consultation to review them, but warns it can't promise you won't need new labs. 3
What isn't in the $99
- In-home blood draw: the men's labs page lists an optional $100 visit where available. The individual panel page separately describes a $99 mobile option for New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island, subject to address coverage. Ask which applies rather than adding both. 2 3
- Bigger lab panels: the Advanced Panel (71 markers) lists at $399 and the Comprehensive Panel (110 markers) at $699. Blokes advertises discounted offers too. These are upgrade options, not established universal TRT requirements; ask which tests your clinician actually needs. 2 6
- Regional logistics: the panel page describes home-kit alternatives in New Jersey and Rhode Island, while the men's labs page names BioReference for New York and New Jersey. Blokes also displays a notice of different New York and New Jersey pricing. Confirm both the draw method and full charge. 2 3
- Repeat confirmation and other charges: acceptance of outside labs and the fee for a second confirming test remain patient-specific. The Terms allow disclosed shipping and handling charges. We did not verify a completed cart or a separate processing-fee amount; ask for an itemized quote. 3 5
The $1 ED and hair-loss add-ons
Blokes advertises hair-loss and erectile-dysfunction (ED) medications for $1 each per month as add-ons for active TRT or enclomiphene subscribers. The current TRT FAQ does not identify every eligible drug, quantity or state. Ask which prescription and price apply to you; an add-on still requires its own clinical decision. 1
That price can be useful if a clinician would prescribe the medication for you anyway. It's also a second medical decision, not a freebie to grab because it's cheap.
Insurance, HSA and FSA
- Insurance: Blokes doesn't bill insurance for TRT, according to its TRT landing page. Its insurance options cover other things, like thyroid and some women's hormone prescriptions sent to a local pharmacy. Its Terms also say it isn't a Medicare or Medicaid provider. 1 5 6
- HSA/FSA: Blokes advertises payment with health savings account or flexible spending account funds. The TRT product page describes paying through a service called Flex at checkout. That's a payment option and has nothing to do with the "Flex Plan" subscription, despite the shared name. Blokes' pages don't describe HSA/FSA handling identically, so ask which method applies to TRT. Your plan administrator may also want a letter of medical necessity, which Blokes' Terms say your provider can supply on request. Card acceptance is not a guarantee that every charge is eligible. 1 5
The prepaid-term drawback — and why some men still choose it
Blokes does not publish a month-to-month TRT subscription. Even its shortest plan collects three months upfront, and the general subscription policy says no refunds. If a short billing commitment matters most to you, Hone Health has monthly membership billing, while Male Excel lists every-other-month medication billing. Neither detail alone tells you your full exit cost. Blokes' landing page also mentions third-party payment plans; financing an upfront bill is not the same as a cancellable monthly treatment plan. 1 4 6 16 21
Blokes says its subscription includes your testosterone, clinician visits and follow-up labs. On the 12-month plan, the published subscription plus the standard panel comes to $1,337 for a first-year subtotal. That is an easier starting budget than a medication-only teaser, but it is not proof that no other charge can apply. 1 3 5
The longer prepay buys a lower published rate. It does not remove the risk that your clinician or circumstances will change the plan.
Does the prepaid model fit your budget, and does Blokes list your state? Compare the exact term, lab charge and cancellation terms before committing. See Blokes' current TRT plans and state list → Plain link. We don't earn anything from this Blokes link. Labs and a clinician visit come first, and a prescription isn't guaranteed.
Want a shorter payment commitment instead? Compare Male Excel's pricing and conditional membership-fee guarantee. Its medication bill is not month to month.
What happens if you quit Blokes early?
Blokes' general policy says hormone subscriptions are non-refundable, so leaving partway through a prepaid term does not create a refund under that policy. Its Terms require 30 days' written cancellation notice and refer to a minimum commitment. The refund page says cancellation is allowed at any time, so get the effective date and any remaining charge confirmed for your particular plan. 4 5
Blokes' TRT page advertises easy cancellation and no hidden fees. Both can be true — and still leave you surprised. Here's what three Blokes documents say when you read them side by side.
"Easy cancellation" vs "no refunds": the three documents
| Blokes document | What it says | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| TRT product page | Advertises easy cancellation and no hidden fees. Lists each plan's upfront payment. 1 | The upfront amount is disclosed. That does not establish a refund or the renewal deadline. |
| Refund & Return Policy | Hormone subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. It also says the subscription cannot be refunded and all sales are final; lab purchases are generally final too. 4 | A cancellation request is not a refund of the term already paid. Confirm when future charges actually stop. |
| Terms of Use, §6 | A minimum of three consecutive months; cancel by email 30 days before the next monthly processing date after the initial commitment has concluded. 5 | This monthly-processing language does not clearly explain every 3-, 6- and 12-month prepaid renewal. Ask for the deadline, renewal term and last possible charge in writing. |
Checked September 24, 2026. The Complete Panel page also describes a possible refund for problems with its regional New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island testing arrangements. That is a stated exception to the general lab policy, not a general right to refund an unwanted TRT subscription. Ask which policy governs your order. 3 4
So "easy cancellation" tells you less than it seems. The important answer is a date: when your cancellation takes effect, whether another payment is due, and when access to care ends. We did not test cancellation ourselves.
What quitting early actually costs
Why might someone stop TRT early? Reasons can include:
- side effects;
- a follow-up blood test showing your red blood cell count running too high;
- deciding to try for a baby;
- a clinician deciding testosterone isn't right for you after all. 9
Some changes cannot be predicted before treatment. Fertility plans and known health risks can often be discussed before you pay, which is why the clinical conversation comes first.
This is the table we mentioned at the top. It models Blokes subscription payments through each month plus one $149 panel, assuming each term renews at the same price. It is not a promise that cancelling at the listed month prevents a further renewal charge.
| End of month | Blokes Full Year | Blokes Commit & Save | Blokes Flex |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $1,337 | $923 | $596 |
| 3 months | $1,337 | $923 | $596 |
| 4 months | $1,337 | $923 | $1,043 |
| 6 months | $1,337 | $923 | $1,043 |
| 8 months | $1,337 | $1,697 | $1,490 |
| 12 months | $1,337 | $1,697 | $1,937 |
Our math from Blokes' published term payments: $149 + $1,188 × terms started for Full Year; $149 + $774 × terms started for Commit & Save; $149 + $447 × terms started for Flex. This assumes one annual term, six-month terms starting in months 1 and 7, or three-month terms starting in months 1, 4, 7 and 10. Extra charges and a renewal caused by missed notice are outside the model. The actual cancellation deadline must be settled before relying on an exit date. 1 5
Why the alternatives do not have one verified early-exit total
| Alternative | Payment information we verified | What prevents a reliable month-by-month exit figure |
|---|---|---|
| Male Excel | $99 consultation; $99/month membership; injectable package from $120/month, with medication billed every other month for a 60-day supply. A 12-month rate model is $2,727 before shipping, tax and other applicable charges. 16 17 18 | The cash charge dates and membership collection schedule need your quote. Its advertised guarantee requires following the prescribed plan for 90 days and applies to three months of membership fees if symptoms do not improve, not every reason for leaving early. |
| Taurus Meds | $49 test and consultation; advertised treatment from $149/month. $49 + 12 × $149 = $1,837 before unresolved charges. Its Terms also describe a possible $17.99 recurring membership fee per billing period. 22 23 | The current pages checked do not establish a six-month prepaid requirement. The campaign's no-membership-fee wording conflicts with the Terms, and the applicable billing cycle and refund conditions need confirmation. |
| Hone Health Plus | $135/month membership, with medication charged separately when processed. The $45 initial test and published $45–$80 confirmation fees also affect startup. 19 20 21 | Cypionate is described as from $28 per vial on one page and from $28/month on another. Refills use three-month supplies; neither the number of vials nor the invoice can be inferred. Its retesting-fee pages also conflict. 25 26 27 |
These are different payment models, not interchangeable monthly prices. A lower recurring rate does not automatically mean a lower amount paid if you leave early.
How to read it:
- If a full year of care remains appropriate, Blokes Full Year has the lowest subscription cost among Blokes' three published plans. That is not a verified all-in ranking of every provider.
- If you leave in the first three months, the modeled Full Year subtotal is $741 more than Flex: $1,337 versus $596, before extra charges or renewal effects.
- If you're unsure, don't buy the Full Year plan just to save money. Blokes' own Flex plan starts with a smaller prepaid term. It is not a medical trial or a guarantee that $596 caps all possible costs.
One question worth asking Blokes: can you move from Flex to the Full Year rate once you and your clinician know whether continuing care makes sense? We couldn't find a published answer.
How to cancel Blokes, step by step
- Find your renewal date in your patient portal or your signup receipt.
- Email info@joiandblokes.com well before renewal. The Terms call for at least 30 days' notice and refer to the end of the initial commitment. Subject line: "Cancel subscription renewal." Include your name and account email, and ask for the effective date, any final charge and the date care access ends. 5
- Keep the reply. Ask for written confirmation rather than treating the sent email as proof that billing has stopped. Public review-response times are not a support-service guarantee.
- Check your account and stored payment method. Removing a card is not a substitute for cancelling the subscription. Keep receipts and confirm whether any medication order is already being processed.
- Talk to your clinician before stopping medication. Cancelling a subscription and stopping a prescription are two separate decisions. Arrange any needed records and care handoff. 9

Which states can Blokes ship testosterone to?
Blokes' main TRT product page excludes 16 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Carolina. It describes the other 34 states as served, but another Blokes page omits Mississippi from the exclusions and neither gives an explicit D.C. confirmation. Your location during the visit and the pharmacy's ability to ship to your address both matter. 1 6 14
One wrinkle: Mississippi. Blokes' main TRT product page lists Mississippi as excluded. Its separate TRT landing page leaves Mississippi off its list. If you're in Mississippi, treat it as not served until Blokes confirms otherwise in writing. 1 6
Lab access isn't treatment access. Blokes may sell you a lab panel in a state where it can't ship testosterone. Buying labs doesn't mean the same company can treat you. 1 3
Check testosterone specifically, not just a general lab, ED or other-treatment availability claim. Different services can have different coverage, and an enclomiphene offer is not evidence that testosterone can be prescribed to you. 1 3 28
Blokes vs Male Excel: their published testosterone state lists
We checked Male Excel's published exclusions against Blokes' main TRT list line by line. Male Excel is a commercial partner; that does not change the same state and testing questions it must answer. 1 17
| Your state | Blokes TRT: published list | Male Excel TRT: published list | Where to look |
|---|---|---|---|
| DE, GA, MO, NC, ND, OK, PA, SC | Excluded | Listed as served | Check Male Excel's current clinical and pharmacy availability |
| AK, ID, NH | Listed as served | Excluded | Check Blokes' current availability |
| AL, AR, CT, HI, LA, MN, MS, RI | Excluded on main page; Mississippi differs on another page | Excluded | Neither list establishes access; consider another care route |
| All other states | Listed as served | Listed as served | Compare your actual clinician, prescription and quote |
| Washington, D.C. | Not explicitly confirmed | Not explicitly confirmed | Ask each provider; do not infer coverage from a state exclusion list |
Both lists checked September 24, 2026. Male Excel's FAQ and homepage list 11 excluded states; the table uses those published lists, not an independent review of each state's law or available appointments. The eight-state and three-state differences are our comparison of the two providers' lists. 1 6 17 29
In the eight states both main lists exclude, a local primary care doctor, urologist or endocrinologist is a useful starting point. Or compare online and local care and check other online providers' state lists before you pay anyone. Mississippi still needs direct confirmation because Blokes' pages differ.
The federal rule behind all this. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance, which means federal law limits how it can be prescribed. An in-person evaluation is generally required for controlled-substance prescribing unless an exception applies. The current DEA/HHS temporary extension allows appropriately authorized DEA-registered clinicians to prescribe Schedule II–V drugs through qualifying audio-video telemedicine without a prior in-person evaluation, subject to federal and state requirements, through December 31, 2026. It is not a blanket phone-only or questionnaire-only testosterone exception. 10 15
December 31, 2026 is the end date of this temporary extension, not a guarantee that all online TRT will stop the next day. Ask your provider what in-person evaluation or continuity plan would apply if the rules change. It isn't a reason to rush a medical decision. 15
In Delaware, Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania or South Carolina? Blokes' main page excludes testosterone service there, while Male Excel's current list includes those states. Compare Male Excel's pricing and the questions to confirm before intake → Male Excel is a commercial partner. A published state listing does not establish medical eligibility or guarantee a prescription.
In a state neither one lists as served? Map your options with Find My TRT Path →
What testing does Blokes require?
Blokes requires labs and a clinician visit in its published TRT process; its $149 Complete Panel lists 56 markers and a 30-minute consultation. Recent outside labs may be accepted instead, but we could not confirm a universal second-test policy or fee. For a new diagnosis, symptoms or signs plus consistently low testosterone and appropriate repeat morning testing are needed—not one result or a quiz. 1 3 9 30
What the $149 Complete Panel checks
Here's how Blokes' starter panel lines up with tests used in a TRT evaluation. Not every marker is required for every person; the clinician should select and interpret tests based on the history, age, risks and earlier results. First, a few quick definitions. 9
- Total testosterone is all the testosterone in your blood.
- Free testosterone is the small share not bound to proteins.
- SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin) is a protein that holds testosterone and affects how much is free.
- LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) are signals from the pituitary gland that help control testosterone and sperm production.
- Hematocrit is the share of your blood made of red blood cells. Testosterone can push it up.
- PSA (prostate-specific antigen) is a prostate-related blood marker, not a cancer diagnosis by itself. 9
| Test or question in a TRT evaluation | Listed in Blokes' Complete Panel? |
|---|---|
| Total testosterone | Yes |
| Free testosterone (calculated) and SHBG | Yes |
| LH and FSH — can help explain why testosterone is low | Yes |
| Prolactin — can help assess a possible pituitary cause | Yes |
| Estradiol | Yes |
| Hematocrit and full blood count | Yes |
| PSA | Yes |
| Liver, kidney, glucose and A1c markers | Yes |
| A second, separate morning testosterone measurement | Not established by one panel — ask whether it is required and included |
Panel contents from Blokes' men's labs and individual panel pages, checked September 24, 2026. A listed marker does not establish the accuracy of the assay or the clinical interpretation for your case. 2 3
The panel includes markers that help a clinician distinguish a testicular cause from a pituitary or hypothalamic cause, which matters for treatment and for fertility. A long marker list is useful information—not proof of a complete diagnosis. 9
What it can't do alone is confirm a diagnosis. One panel is one blood draw. 9
One test isn't a diagnosis — and here's where Blokes' view differs
The Endocrine Society's guideline says to diagnose low testosterone only when a man has symptoms or signs and testosterone that is clearly and consistently low. It says to confirm that with repeat testing, done in the morning while fasting, using an accurate assay. Its July 2026 statement restates the need for at least two early-morning, fasting tests. 9 30
Testosterone swings during the day and from day to day. A single low reading can be a bad night's sleep, an illness or a lab quirk. 9
Blokes tells patients to fast and test in the morning, which is right. But its TRT FAQ goes further. Asked about a man with a result of 350 ng/dL whose doctor called it normal, Blokes says he may still be a candidate. It says it takes a symptom-based approach aimed at how he feels, "regardless of the numbers." 1 2
We'd put it more carefully. Feeling awful with a "normal" number is real, and it deserves a real workup. But symptoms like tiredness, low drive and brain fog have many causes, including sleep apnea, depression, thyroid problems and medications. Guidelines ask for confirmed low levels before treating for good reason. 9 30
If your doctor called your level normal, the right next step is a clinical review of the symptoms, test method and timing, with repeat morning testing and other tests when appropriate. Not a faster route to a prescription. Neither 300 ng/dL nor the FAQ's 350 ng/dL settles the diagnosis on its own; the guideline calls for properly assessed free testosterone when total testosterone is borderline or SHBG may affect the result. The concern is the FAQ's suggestion that numbers do not matter—not proof that every patient at 350 is ineligible or that Blokes actually prescribes without confirmation. 1 9
Start with an appropriate medical assessment, not a prepaid treatment commitment, if any of these apply:
- a clinician has flagged very low testosterone or other unusual lab results;
- headaches or vision changes, which may need a pituitary assessment;
- a history of prostate or breast cancer;
- a high red blood cell count;
- untreated severe sleep apnea;
- a recent heart attack or stroke;
- you're trying to conceive. 9
For those, a primary care doctor, urologist or endocrinologist can help choose the right evaluation; near-term fertility plans call for a fertility-aware clinician, often a reproductive urologist. Sudden severe headache or sudden vision changes need urgent assessment, not a routine TRT intake. Our guide to blood tests for TRT explains what each result can and can't tell you. 9 12
Only have one test, or a "normal but I still feel off" result? Organize your care-route options and the questions to bring to a clinician before paying for treatment. Use Find My TRT Path to plan that conversation → Find My TRT Path is educational and non-diagnostic. It won't interpret your labs, choose your tests, decide whether you have low testosterone, or qualify you for a prescription.
What medication does Blokes prescribe? Is it FDA-approved?
Blokes names testosterone cypionate injections and says its drugs may include compounded products, which are not FDA-approved. Its FAQ also mentions capsules and creams, but that does not identify every medicine, formulation or price. Before you pay, ask for the exact product, its approval or compounded status, and the pharmacy that would fill it. 1 31
Injections first, other formats by discussion. Blokes' TRT page names testosterone cypionate as the prescription it delivers. It lists supplies among the inclusions. In its FAQ, Blokes says it believes injections work best, but mentions capsules and creams for men who don't want needles. That preference is the provider's claim, not a general finding that injections are best for everyone. Ask whether the proposed capsule actually contains testosterone or is a different drug, such as enclomiphene. Your clinician decides which format, if any, fits you. 1 9
FDA-approved testosterone products
An FDA-approved drug is a specific product the FDA has reviewed for safety, effectiveness and manufacturing quality. FDA-approved testosterone products exist, but the ingredient name "testosterone cypionate" alone does not prove that the product dispensed to you is approved. Ask for its manufacturer and exact product details. 31 32
Compounded testosterone preparations
A compounded drug is prepared or altered by a pharmacist or another authorized professional to meet a medical need. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and do not receive FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. That is not the same as saying there is no oversight of compounding. 31
Blokes' product page says its drugs "may" include compounded products. We couldn't confirm which you'd get, and "testosterone cypionate" alone doesn't tell you. Ask for the exact product and pharmacy in writing. Do not treat a compounded preparation as an approved generic or assume the same clinical evidence applies to it. 1 31
Which pharmacies does Blokes name?
The pharmacies behind Blokes. Blokes' Terms name seven pharmacy partners:
- Strive Pharmacy
- Pharmacy Hub
- Tailor Made Compounding Pharmacy
- Cadre Labs
- Empower Pharmacy
- LillyDirect Self Pay Pharmacy Solutions (GiftHealth)
- Partell Pharmacy 5
Those are named partners across the Joi + Blokes service, not a verified list of seven pharmacies all filling testosterone. It still doesn't tell you which one fills your prescription. Ask for its name and physical location, then check the relevant state board of pharmacy record and permission to dispense to your state. We did not independently verify the licenses or status of every listed pharmacy. 5
The Terms also disclose that some people behind the company may have a financial interest in the third parties providing its services or products. It's an honest disclosure. Just know it's there. 5
Off-label prescribing is a separate question
Off-label use. Blokes says its clinicians may prescribe medications "off label" — for a use other than the one on the official label. FDA explains that clinicians may generally prescribe an approved drug for an unapproved use when medically appropriate. That does not make the use FDA-approved, and it is different from a compounded product that has no FDA approval of its own. It's also a reason to ask why a given medication is being recommended for you. 1 33
What happens after you start Blokes TRT?
Blokes says it rechecks labs and holds a clinician follow-up about six weeks after you start, then roughly every three months. Its plans list unlimited care-team messaging and 1:1 health coaching. Customer reports describe both helpful consultations and problems with billing or order updates; they do not establish a promised response time. 1 8
The monitoring schedule. Blokes recommends a lab test and clinician check-in around week six, then check-ins about every three months. It may space them out once your dose is settled. The follow-up labs are included in your plan price. 1
The need for monitoring is consistent with the guidelines; the right schedule still depends on the patient and product. Testosterone can raise your red blood cell count, and clinicians also monitor blood pressure and other risks. In 2025, the FDA required blood-pressure warning changes for testosterone products and removed boxed-warning language about increased cardiovascular events after reviewing TRAVERSE. 9 34
The labeling story changed again in June 2026. FDA requested removal of the age-related-hypogonadism limitation and revisions to prostate-cancer and enlarged-prostate safety information. Those are requested product-label changes, not proof that every label has changed or that every patient or compounded preparation is risk-free. The Endocrine Society's July 2026 statement still calls for symptoms plus consistently low, properly measured testosterone. Ask your prescriber which current label and monitoring plan apply to your exact medicine. 32 30
Who you'll talk to. Blokes lists clinician visits, a 1:1 health coach, unlimited messaging and a member community. A health coach is not a clinician. For dose changes, side effects or new symptoms, ask for the prescriber, not the coach. 1
Refills and shipping. Ask how far ahead refills are processed. Julian Garcia, in a June 19, 2026 Trustpilot post explicitly referring to TRT, reported waiting 15–17 days for a consultation and another 7–10 days for medication after the consultation. That is one account of starting care, not a measured refill timeline or a typical wait. It's a reason to ask about appointments, refill processing and shipment tracking before your supply runs low. 35
Phone support: the claim vs what we checked. Blokes' TRT page promises real people answering its phones, chats and texts. Its Terms list 720-828-8596 for questions about the Terms. Save it with your account details, but ask which number or secure channel reaches your clinical team; we did not call it or confirm a clinical response time. 1 5
If you ever switch providers, you'll want your lab results and prescription history. Ask Blokes how to request them. Our guide on how to switch TRT providers walks through the handoff. Ask who holds your medical record, how to request a copy, whether a fee applies and how long the request takes. The published pages we checked do not establish a patient-specific records turnaround.
What do Blokes TRT reviews actually say?
Blokes shares a Trustpilot profile with its women's brand, Joi: 1,421 reviews and a TrustScore of 4.6 out of 5, with 84% five-star reviews when checked. The visible reports include praise for consultations and complaints about billing, order updates and communication. The score covers mixed services, not men's TRT alone, and is not our clinical rating. 8
Here's what sits behind that 4.6.
| What we found (checked September 24, 2026) | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| 1,421 total reviews; 370 in the last 12 months | By subtraction, most reviews are older than 12 months; the current service may differ from an older account. |
| 84% five-star, 5% one-star | The profile is strongly positive overall, but that distribution is not a TRT success rate. |
| Trustpilot displays a merged-profile notice; Joi and Blokes share the page | Women's care, men's care, labs and other services are not separated into a TRT-only rating. |
| Trustpilot says the company has not invited reviews recently | Trustpilot also warns the reviews may not be representative. This does not prove the absence of incentives or manipulation. |
| The profile says the company replied to 87% of negative reviews, usually within 48 hours | Public review replies are not a guarantee of patient-support speed or issue resolution. |
| Visible reports discuss response times, billing, prescription delays and phone access | Use them to form questions, not to estimate how often a problem happens. |
Source: Trustpilot profile and visible reviews, checked September 24, 2026. 8
The fair reading: some reviewers value the clinical conversation and feeling heard. Others describe rough edges in billing, order status and communication. Those are exactly the things a prepaid plan makes more important to check, which is why the cancel steps above matter. This was a selected reading of public reports, not a representative patient survey. 8
Three reports, short and attributed. They describe individual experiences. None of them proves how well TRT works, and none of them is necessarily typical.
- Positive — Jason Knox, August 26, 2026 (program not stated): Described his third test and second consult. He said his representative walked through the markers with him and he never felt pushed to buy products. The post does not establish that person's clinical credentials. 8
- Mixed — Kimberley Shearer, September 2, 2026 (program not stated): Gave five stars and praised the providers, but said automatic billing sometimes didn't match what her provider had directed, and fixing it was hard. 8
- Negative — Renee, updated August 28, 2026 (program not stated): After six months as a customer, she said an order felt "like the order goes into a black hole." She described a prolonged wait without clear updates and said similar problems had happened three times. Blokes replied that it was working on order visibility. 8
These reports appeared publicly on Trustpilot. We did not interview or compensate these reviewers, verify their patient records, or independently establish whether any had another material relationship with the provider.
About the celebrity clips. Blokes' TRT page features Joe Rogan podcast episodes with fighter Dan Henderson and bowhunter Cameron Hanes. It describes what it is like to partner with Blokes. Treat that material as promotion, not an independent clinical review; it does not establish that the podcast host endorses Blokes or that a particular result is typical. A partner's story isn't an independent review. 1
About forum claims. A forum comment can suggest a useful question, but it cannot verify a pharmacy, a cancellation rule or a safe treatment plan. Use the questions at the end of this review to get answers that apply to your own care.
What about fertility?
Testosterone therapy can lower or even stop sperm production, so discuss your family plans before treatment, not after. Blokes also sells enclomiphene, a different drug from TRT that is not FDA-approved, and lists its fertility service as "coming soon." If you want children soon, start with a reproductive urologist or another fertility-aware clinician. 9 28 36 46 37
Here's why. Testosterone from outside the body can suppress the pituitary signals LH and FSH, reducing the signals needed for sperm production (doctors call it spermatogenesis). Sperm counts can drop, sometimes to zero, but this is not reliable contraception. The Endocrine Society guideline recommends against starting testosterone in men planning a pregnancy in the near term. Whether and how fast sperm production recovers after stopping varies; recovery cannot be promised for an individual. 9 37
Enclomiphene is not testosterone replacement
Enclomiphene is not TRT. It stimulates the body's own testosterone production rather than supplying testosterone. It is not FDA-approved. Blokes advertises it from $99 a month as a separate program, with its own term and pricing details. It isn't "natural TRT," and it doesn't guarantee your fertility is protected. If it interests you, our enclomiphene provider comparison covers the options, and our TRT and fertility guide explains the tradeoffs. 28 36 46 37
FDA's May 2026 compounding list places enclomiphene citrate under evaluation. A compounding-list entry is not drug approval and does not establish that it will preserve fertility for you. 46 31
If a baby is in your near-term plans, do not use a subscription checkout as your first fertility decision — Blokes or anyone else. See a reproductive urologist or another fertility-aware clinician, then decide. 9 37
How do Blokes, Male Excel, Hone and Taurus compare?
Blokes uses prepaid treatment terms, Male Excel separates membership from medication, and Hone bills membership monthly with medication charged separately. Taurus advertises bundled treatment, but its public fee and refund documents leave important questions open. Compare the payment model and actual prescription quote, not just the advertised monthly rate. 1 16 21 22 23 24
| Decision point | Blokes | Male Excel | Hone Health (Plus) | Taurus Meds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| To start | $149 standard panel and 30-minute visit; separate $74 promotion needs confirmation | $99 consultation, with an at-home test included per FAQ | $45 initial test; confirmation listed at $45 or $50 at a lab, or $80 at home; a general retesting page says clinically necessary retesting has no added fee | $49 test and consultation on the campaign page |
| Ongoing published rate | $99–$149/mo subscription equivalent | $99/mo membership + injectable package from $120/mo | $135/mo membership + actual medication invoice | From $149/mo advertised; Terms also list $17.99 per billing period unless the purchase says otherwise |
| Billed | 3, 6 or 12 months upfront | Medication every other month for a 60-day supply; confirm membership collection dates | Membership monthly; medication when processed, with three-month supplies described | Cycle depends on chosen plan; six-month prepayment was not verified |
| First-year rate model | $1,337: annual term + $149 panel, before any further charges | $2,727: $99 + 12 × ($99 + $120), before shipping, tax and other applicable charges; not a day-by-day payment schedule | $1,710–$1,745 before medication using published paid-test scenarios; actual fees may differ | $1,837: $49 + 12 × $149, before any additional recurring fee or other charge |
| Refund / guarantee | General subscription no-refund policy; specific regional lab exception; 30-day notice language | Advertised 90-day improvement-based guarantee on three months of membership fees; not medication; Terms generally say sales are final | No partial-month membership refund; medication cannot be refunded once processed or shipped; separate cancellation processes | Campaign guarantee and formal refund policy differ; medical-disqualification exception; 72-hour cancellation notice |
| Follow-up labs | Included per provider; about 6 weeks, then quarterly | Membership lists six-month blood testing | Scheduled follow-up labs included | Advertised follow-up testing included; confirm cadence and what the order covers |
| States | Main list excludes 16; Mississippi mismatch; D.C. unconfirmed | FAQ/homepage exclude 11; D.C. unconfirmed | Plus is listed in 35 states, not New York or D.C.; Premium coverage differs | Confirm actual testosterone service before paying |
| Pharmacy disclosure | Seven partners named; assigned testosterone pharmacy not confirmed | FAQ names Anazao Health and WellDyneRx-Fl; confirm the actual assignment | Ask for the assigned pharmacy and exact product | Partners named in Terms; confirm the actual assignment |

Provider statements checked September 24, 2026; calculations are ours. Blokes: 1 3 4 5 6. Male Excel: 16 17 18 29. Hone: 19 20 21 25 26 27 38 39 40. Taurus: 22 23 24 41. These are not four independently verified, complete first-year quotes. Your prescription, location and written terms determine what you pay. For Hone, the $1,710–$1,745 subtotal is $1,620 in membership + $45 for the first test + $45, $50 or $80 for confirmation, before medication. The general no-added-fee retesting statement could change that subtotal; get the applicable fee confirmed.
Male Excel's $120 starting medication figure is for its advertised injectable testosterone-and-thyroid package. It is not a verified testosterone-only price; ask which medicines your clinician actually recommends and how that changes the bill. 16
A further testing question applies to our partner too: Male Excel's homepage says that, when clinically appropriate, a clinician may prescribe before lab results arrive. That marketing statement does not establish how your diagnosis will be confirmed. For a new diagnosis, the same symptom-plus-confirmed-low-testing standard applies regardless of which provider you choose. Ask for that process before a treatment commitment. 17 9
Taurus also needs product clarification: its homepage advertises FDA-approved medications, while its $49 campaign describes compounded hormones and gives the same injection description under several different drug cards, including gel. That does not establish the exact medicine you would receive. Ask for the product name, formulation and approval or compounded status rather than relying on those cards. 22 41
Which one fits you?
Answer three questions in order. Where you land is your starting point.
- Does Blokes serve your state? If not, compare a provider that explicitly serves it or use Find My TRT Path.
- Has low testosterone been properly confirmed, and have fertility plans been discussed? If not, start with evaluation or a specialist, not a treatment subscription. Existing records may be useful; you do not need to diagnose yourself before seeking an appointment.
- Can you accept the full prepaid term even if care changes? You cannot know in advance that treatment will remain appropriate for 12 months.
| If you… | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Have confirmed need for care, a served state and room for the financial risk | Blokes' written annual-plan quote | Lowest subscription rate among its own plans; medication, visits and follow-up labs included per provider |
| Want Blokes but not a year upfront | Blokes Flex | Smaller prepaid term: $447 subscription, or a $596 subtotal with the standard panel; not an absolute cost cap |
| Want an alternative to Blokes' prepaid terms | Male Excel's complete quote | Every-other-month medication billing; separate membership and a conditional membership-fee guarantee |
| Want monthly membership billing | Hone Health's quote | Monthly membership, but medication invoices and supplies are separate |
| Want to compare a bundled advertised rate | Taurus Meds' itemized quote | Resolve the $17.99 fee, billing cycle and refund differences before treating $149 as all-in |
| Live in DE, GA, MO, NC, ND, OK, PA or SC | Check Male Excel or another provider's current access | Male Excel's published list includes those states; Blokes' main list excludes them |
| Have not had a complete evaluation, or want kids soon | Not a treatment subscription yet | Testing or a fertility-aware clinician first |
| Need insurance-billed care or a particular approved product at your pharmacy | An in-network clinician and your insurer/pharmacy | These advertised cash-pay plans are not substitutes for confirming covered care and the exact product; see online vs local care |

Who should not choose Blokes?
Skip Blokes' prepaid model if you need monthly treatment billing, live in an excluded state, or cannot accept losing the unused portion under its general refund policy. Unconfirmed low testosterone, near-term fertility plans or a need for a specific approved product and pharmacy also require answers before a subscription decision. Each points to a different starting place—not an automatic choice of another online clinic. 1 4 9
We'd rather lose you here than have you prepay for the wrong fit.
- You might leave in the first few months. Compare Blokes Flex with the written payment and cancellation terms at Male Excel or Hone, rather than assuming a lower monthly rate means less money at risk.
- You're in an excluded state. See the state table above.
- You want an FDA-approved product at your own pharmacy. Ask your own clinician whether it is appropriate, then confirm the pharmacy and any insurance coverage. Blokes' public offer does not settle that arrangement. See online vs local care.
- You're trying for a baby. Start with a reproductive urologist or another fertility-aware clinician. Read TRT and fertility.
- You've had only one test, or it came back normal. A clinical review comes first; further morning testing may be needed. Read blood tests for TRT.
- You're a competitive athlete in a drug-tested sport. WADA lists exogenous testosterone as prohibited at all times. Ask your sport's anti-doping authority and your doctor about the applicable rules and any therapeutic-use exemption process; a prescription alone is not sporting clearance. 42
What should you ask Blokes before you pay?
Get four things settled in writing before you prepay: confirming blood tests, the exact medication and pharmacy, renewal and cancellation terms, and the complete starting bill. The lab promotion alone does not settle that bill. Copy the message below and keep Blokes' reply with your receipt.
You don't have to decide on TRT to ask these. You're asking for the terms of a purchase before you pay.
Copy and send to info@joiandblokes.com:
Hi — I'm considering Blokes TRT and would like these answered in writing before I pay:
- Can your clinicians prescribe testosterone where I will be physically located during visits, and can your pharmacy ship it to my state? Which medical practice and clinician would be responsible, and how can I check the clinician's license?
- Before prescribing for a new diagnosis, do you require a second, confirming morning testosterone test? Is it included, or what does it cost? Can you review recent outside labs?
- If I'm prescribed testosterone, will it be compounded or an FDA-approved product? What is the exact medicine, formulation and manufacturer or compounder, and which pharmacy location will fill it? Can you accommodate my own pharmacy if needed?
- What lab promotion applies to me, compared with the $149 Complete Panel? I saw a separate landing page display $74. What are the offer terms and the actual charge for my state and draw method?
- What will my first order and 12 months of care cost in total, including any repeat tests, processing fees, shipping, taxes and services not included? Which amounts must be paid upfront?
- When my plan's term ends, does it renew automatically? For how long, and at what price? What is my cancellation deadline, effective date and last possible charge?
- Can I switch from the 3-month Flex Plan to the 12-month plan later at the $99 rate?
- If a clinician decides testosterone isn't right for me after I've paid, what happens to my payment? Which subscription, lab and regional-access refund terms apply?
- How do I reach my prescribing clinician (not a coach) about side effects, and how fast do you respond? What monitoring is included, and who handles abnormal results?
- How far ahead do you process refills, and what happens if a shipment is late?
- How do I pay with my HSA or FSA for TRT specifically, and will you provide a letter of medical necessity and an itemized receipt?
- How can I get copies of my lab results, visit notes and prescription history if I move my care elsewhere? Who holds the records, and what fee and turnaround apply?
Thank you.
Don't put your lab values or health history in an ordinary email. Ask Blokes for its secure channel first.
Save these for the clinician, not a sales rep:
- How was low testosterone confirmed in my case?
- What else could explain my symptoms?
- What risks will we watch for, and how often?
- How does TRT affect my plans for children?
- How will we decide whether to keep going?

What do other Blokes reviews miss?
Some Blokes reviews leave out distinctions that change the decision: a named pharmacy network versus your assigned pharmacy, a published state list versus guaranteed access, and an approved product versus a compounded one. We checked the claims below against current public documents. Do not use a comparison page as a substitute for the provider's actual terms.
| What another review says | What the current evidence supports (checked September 24, 2026) |
|---|---|
| TRT Picks says Blokes does not name the specific pharmacy that fills or compounds its medications. 43 | Blokes' Terms name seven pharmacy partners. The narrower question—which pharmacy will fill your testosterone—remains unanswered. A network list and an assigned pharmacy are different disclosures. 5 |
| TRT Picks says it could not verify a published state-by-state availability list. 43 | Blokes' main TRT page publishes 16 excluded states, and its landing page publishes a different list that omits Mississippi. Neither supports assuming D.C. access. 1 6 |
| TRT Picks says it has no published Blokes HSA/FSA statement to rely on. 43 | Blokes' product FAQ and Terms expressly discuss HSA/FSA payment, although eligibility and the process still need confirmation. 1 5 |
| Treatable broadly describes Blokes' treatments as FDA-approved and groups enclomiphene with TRT. 44 | Blokes discloses that compounded products may be used. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and enclomiphene is not testosterone replacement. An ingredient or a provider's whole catalog cannot receive one blanket approval label. 1 28 31 36 |
Plenty of these pages get other things right. The upfront billing point, for instance, is also reported by TRT Picks. We're listing the distinctions because a wrong state assumption or a blanket FDA claim can cost a reader money. 43
How did we check Blokes?
This profile compares Blokes' own public pages and legal documents, customer reviews, and primary medical and regulatory sources, checked September 24, 2026. It is not a hands-on review. We did not buy a plan, complete an intake, contact support or talk to a Blokes clinician.
We follow our documented method, How We Review TRT Providers. It keeps four kinds of information apart:
- Verified facts — what we confirmed was published or recorded, such as an official FDA letter, plus calculations we reproduced. A provider's statement is not independent proof of its performance.
- Provider-stated facts — the prices, terms, inclusions and process descriptions the provider publishes, which may not settle your individual order.
- Customer-experience signals — what identified reviewers report, which can suggest questions but cannot prove policy, typical results or medical quality.
- Editorial conclusions — our judgment, drawn from the facts above.
We calculate cost from published prices instead of repeating a monthly teaser, and we show our math so you can redo it. When a required input is unknown, we label the result a subtotal or scenario rather than call it complete. This profile does not give providers numeric scores. A score would imply a precision public documents can't support.
What would change our conclusion:
- a written answer from Blokes on confirmatory testing, medication status or renewal terms;
- a change to its prices or refund policy;
- an FDA close-out of the warning letter;
- a change in federal telemedicine rules.
Prices, state lists, review totals and rules can change after the date shown. Keep your own quote and terms with your receipt.

Blokes TRT reviews: what else should you know?
Blokes' published prices and prepaid terms answer part of the buying question, but your lab needs, prescription, state and written quote determine the rest. These answers separate what is published from what still needs a patient-specific confirmation.
Is Blokes TRT legit? Blokes has an active public offer that requires labs and a clinician visit, publishes prices and names pharmacy partners. That is not a blanket clearance of the clinician or pharmacy assigned to you. The FDA's June 2026 letter concerns compounded weight-loss drug marketing, not the TRT program. 1 5 7
How much is Blokes TRT per month? $99, $129 or $149 a month on 12-, 6- or 3-month plans. Each plan is paid upfront: $1,188, $774 or $447. 1
What does Blokes TRT cost for a full year? The annual subscription plus the standard $149 panel is $1,337. The corresponding subtotals are $1,697 on six-month terms and $1,937 on three-month terms, assuming unchanged renewals. Additional required tests, regional charges and your actual order can change the total. A separate $74 lab promotion is conditional, not a universal starting price. 1 3 5 6
Does Blokes charge the whole plan upfront? Yes. Its TRT pricing table lists the full subscription term as an upfront payment. A third-party payment plan mentioned elsewhere would finance that obligation, not turn it into a cancellable monthly treatment plan. 1 6
Can I get a refund from Blokes? Its general policy says hormone subscriptions and lab purchases are non-refundable. The Complete Panel page separately describes a potential refund for regional testing-access problems. Ask which terms apply to your order; cancellation and refund are different questions. 3 4
How do I cancel Blokes? Email info@joiandblokes.com well before renewal and ask for written confirmation. The Terms specify 30 days' notice and an initial commitment, but their monthly-processing language is not a clear explanation of every prepaid plan. Confirm your deadline, effective date and last possible charge. 5
What states does Blokes not ship testosterone to? Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Carolina. One Blokes page leaves Mississippi off, so confirm Mississippi in writing. 1 6
Does Blokes take insurance for TRT? Its TRT landing page says no. Blokes advertises HSA/FSA payment, but card processing and your plan's eligibility rules still need confirmation. 1 5 6
Is Blokes testosterone compounded? It may be. Blokes says its medications may include compounded products, which aren't FDA-approved. Ask which product and pharmacy you'd get. 1 31
Does Blokes offer testosterone without injections? Its FAQ mentions capsules and creams, though it favors injections. Ask for the exact drug, format, approval or compounded status, and price; a capsule such as enclomiphene is not testosterone replacement. 1 28
Are labs included with Blokes TRT? Blokes says follow-up labs are included in the subscription. The standard Complete Panel is a separate $149 purchase, and the landing page advertises a conditional $74 offer. Ask whether a second confirming morning test or extra patient-specific testing is included. 1 3 6
Can I use my own recent labs? Sometimes. Blokes says labs from the last 90 days may be usable and offers a $59 consult to review them. You may still need new tests. 3
Is Blokes the same company as Joi? Yes. Blokes is the men's side of Joi + Blokes. They share a website, terms and a Trustpilot profile. 5 8 13
Can I take TRT from Blokes if I want kids? Talk to a reproductive urologist first. Testosterone can lower sperm production, and guidelines advise against starting it if you're planning a pregnancy soon. 9 37
Is Blokes better than Male Excel? Not for every reader. Blokes has a lower annual-plan subscription-plus-panel subtotal in the rate models shown here, while Male Excel lists a different payment schedule and includes eight states Blokes' main list excludes. Neither price nor a listed state answers whether the clinical evaluation, prescription, total quote and payment risk fit you. 1 16 17
Still not sure which TRT care route fits you? Use our free Find My TRT Path tool. Educational and non-diagnostic. It won't decide whether you have low testosterone or qualify for a prescription, and it doesn't replace a clinician.
