TRT Nation Cost: What You Actually Pay in 2026

TRT Nation cost starts at an advertised $99.99 a month, with a 2.5-month minimum. At that rate, treatment plus one $129 lab panel totals about $379. A 12-month price model with three panels is $1,586.88—not a verified bill. Your quote, testing needs, purchases, state, and added medication can change the total.

Best for: a man aged 24 or older with confirmed low testosterone who is comparing cash-pay injections, has about $379 available for the starting scenario, and has discussed treatment and fertility plans with a clinician.

Not for you if: you want to start with a single month of testosterone. Start with a fertility-focused clinician if having children is a priority; TRT Nation also lists Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri and Hawaii as excluded states.4 15

What does TRT Nation cost upfront and over a year?

The advertised base rate implies an initial treatment purchase of about $250, or about $379 with one provider-ordered panel. The annual figures below are calculations from published rates, not confirmed checkout totals or a promise that every patient needs the same tests.1 3

Here's all of it, with the arithmetic shown.

Cost item Testosterone: advertised base rate Testosterone: only if quoted $130/month Published TRT + hCG bundle
Monthly price used in the model $99.99 $130.00 $180.00
Minimum purchase shown 2.5 months 2.5 months 2.5 months
Calculated treatment block, rounded to cents $249.98 $325.00 $450.00
One provider-ordered blood panel $129.00 $129.00 $129.00
Starting scenario: block + one panel $378.98 $454.00 $579.00
Treatment price × 12 months $1,199.88 $1,560.00 $2,160.00
Three paid panels: modeling assumption $387.00 $387.00 $387.00
12-month price equivalent + three panels $1,586.88 $1,947.00 $2,547.00
Alternative scenario: 12-month equivalent + one panel $1,328.88 $1,689.00 $2,289.00

What those columns mean: the $99.99 and $180 offers appear on the treatment page. The enrollment form also contains a $130 testosterone price, but we did not establish which patients can select it or why. That column is a conditional budget, not a confirmed California price.1 2

What's included: TRT Nation lists consultation, support and standard shipping within its testosterone package, with no separate membership charge advertised. The table does not add fees for those listed inclusions. It also does not treat unpriced extra tests, additional services or state-specific adjustments as free.2 6

What changes the total: your written quote, the number and cost of tests, added medication, and the timing of each purchase. These calculations assume unchanged prices and no promotion. The three-panel assumption does not establish a complete diagnostic workup, and one panel in a later year is not guaranteed. Enclomiphene is a different, non-testosterone treatment; its separate price example appears below.

Upload accepted existing results instead of buying the $129 panel and the modeled starting treatment amount stays about $250. There is no fee shown for uploading, but obtaining outside tests can still cost money.2

The catch is not just the minimum purchase. TRT Nation's public refund statements conflict. Get the terms that apply to your order in writing before paying.2 7

What we actually verified: We checked published prices, package descriptions, laboratory requirements, and the wording of payment and refill policies on 11 September 2026. We compared those documents and calculated the scenarios shown here. We did not complete a checkout, contact support, use the service, or verify a patient-specific prescription, clinician or pharmacy. A published claim is not proof of the care someone receives.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.

How much does TRT Nation cost per month?

TRT Nation advertises $99.99 a month for testosterone, but its smallest advertised testosterone purchase is a 2.5-month block. That works out to about $250 before labs, rather than a one-month $99.99 purchase. Consultations are listed as included, and no separate membership fee is advertised for this package.1 2 6

No membership fee and no minimum purchase are two different promises. The advertised package does not add a membership fee. It does have a minimum purchase.

One Trustpilot reviewer, Nick, described being asked to “pay for 2.5 months of treatment up-front” in a review posted 15 June 2026. That is one person's account, not a verified payment record or a rule for every order. It captures the question to settle before paying: when is the charge collected, and what happens if treatment does not proceed?9

The asterisk behind the $379 starting estimate

The *2.5 months minimum purchase note is printed directly under the price on TRT Nation's testosterone page.1

$99.99 × 2.5 = $249.975, or $249.98 rounded to cents. Add the separately priced $129 panel and the calculation is $378.98. That's the starting scenario—not a card charge we observed.

The distinction matters because checkout may use a rounded package amount, a different state quote, or other disclosed charges. Ask for the final total, not just the monthly rate.

What the discount math does—and does not—prove

TRT Nation's FLASH offer advertises 20% off for new patients on their first order when bloodwork and treatment are purchased together. It also advertises savings of up to $75 for testosterone and up to $45 for enclomiphene. Standard pricing applies to later orders.8

Those numbers do not independently prove the checkout total or how the discount is applied. Here are the two possible calculations:

Starting scenario A full 20% reduction Subtracting the advertised maximum saving
Testosterone block + one panel: $378.98 $303.18 $303.98 after $75 off
One 30-day enclomiphene supply + one panel: $228.99 $183.19 $183.99 after $45 off

The second column applies the percentage. The third treats the advertised maximum as a hard dollar cap. We did not verify which amount the checkout would charge. Do not subtract a promotion from your budget until the order shows the discount and its conditions.

Enclomiphene's one-month minimum is stated directly on the enrollment form. It does not need to be inferred from a discount cap—and it does not make that drug a substitute for prescribed testosterone.2

About that 24-hour countdown

The flash-sale page displays a same-day offer and a 24-hour deadline. We saw that wording on 11 September 2026; we did not verify when the offer began, whether the countdown resets, or whether the code will remain available.8

The useful takeaway: don't let a timer push you into a protocol you haven't asked questions about yet. A discount does not resolve your testing needs or refund terms.

Three documents to read before your card is on the screen

This is worth seeing side by side, because the pages answer different questions—and the refund statements do not explain how they fit together.

TRT Nation document What it says What that establishes
Testosterone treatment page A 2.5-month minimum purchase applies You cannot budget for just one month at the advertised testosterone rate.
New-patient enrollment form A full refund is stated if you and the provider decide during consultation that treatment is not for you at that time A published conditional refund statement—not independently tested refund handling.
Refund and Cancellation Policy Reserves a no-refund, no-return position; says purchased treatment is charged for the 2.5-month period A separate restriction that needs to be reconciled with the enrollment statement.

All three were live on the day we checked. We're not going to tell you what that means about the company. The documents do not settle which refund conditions apply to your purchase. Do not assume either statement overrides the other.1 2 7

Before you pay anything, get the terms that apply to your order in writing. TRT Nation's support line is 813-413-1000; its published support hours are weekdays, 10am–5pm Eastern. Ask what your first charge will be, in your state, and what happens to that money if the provider decides treatment isn't right for you. We did not test the support line or its response time.1

What's actually included in the $99.99?

TRT Nation's enrollment form lists its TRT Therapy package as testosterone cypionate, anastrozole, IM syringes, standard shipping, a provider consultation, and ongoing support. Those are the company's own stated inclusions. Labs and any additional requirements need to be priced separately; the package list is not proof that every possible treatment-related charge is covered.2

Straight from the enrollment form, the TRT package contains:

  • Testosterone cypionate — the injectable testosterone itself
  • Anastrozole — an aromatase inhibitor listed in the package; whether it is prescribed is a clinical decision
  • IM syringes — intramuscular, meaning into the muscle
  • Free shipping — standard shipping is the stated inclusion
  • Provider consultation included
  • Ongoing support

Two of those deserve a second look.

The anastrozole. A package listing does not establish that it arrives with every order or that every patient needs it. Anastrozole blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone into estrogen. It is not an FDA-approved treatment for low testosterone in men — that use is off-label. Its approved indications concern breast cancer in postmenopausal women.10 11

It's a reason to ask your provider, on the consult, whether you should actually be taking it — rather than assuming that because it arrived, it's for you. Do not add it or change a prescription based on the package list.

“Ongoing support” and “unlimited consultations.” These are provider statements we could not independently test. We did not call support as a patient, so we're not going to tell you what response times look like.6

AtoDaJ, in a Trustpilot review posted 10 June 2026, wrote that “they’re a phone call away.” That is an individual service experience, not a response-time promise or evidence of clinical quality.9

Access, delivery and records belong in the price check

The current FAQ describes video or phone consultations and contact between appointments. It also gives pharmacy-processing and delivery estimates. Those are provider statements, not verified appointment availability, delivery guarantees, or proof that a phone-only visit meets the prescribing rules for your situation.5

Ask who will evaluate you, their professional title, whether they are authorized to treat you in your state, and how you reach a clinician between visits. We did not verify an assigned clinician's license because we did not enroll. No medical eligibility decision can be made from this price guide.

Before paying, also ask how to obtain your laboratory results and clinical records, how another clinician can receive them, and whether any transfer or copy charge applies. The reviewed public documents did not establish a complete patient-record request process or fee schedule. That gap matters if you later change providers.

Are labs included in TRT Nation's cost?

No. TRT Nation lists its men's blood panel separately at $129 and offers a no-charge upload option for accepted existing results. Its published follow-up schedule supports a three-panel budgeting example for some new patients, but it does not establish that three paid panels cover everyone's first year.2 6

Three $129 panels add $387. That is the gap between a treatment-only price and the three-panel model—not a guaranteed charge for every reader.

What the $129 panel includes

From the enrollment form:

  • Total testosterone and estradiol (E2)
  • CBC — complete blood count, which includes hematocrit, the share of your blood made up of red cells. Testosterone can push it up, so it gets watched.12
  • CMP — comprehensive metabolic panel, covering kidney and liver markers
  • PSA — prostate-specific antigen, listed on this form for people 40 and older
  • A pre-paid lab order slip
  • Draw at Labcorp or Quest, results in as little as 48 hours (provider-stated)

The form says orders and instructions are emailed within 24 hours of checkout. Neither that statement nor the result estimate guarantees when you can have blood drawn, receive a consultation, or begin clinician-approved care.2

The separate lab-order page also lists a $179 panel for a combined TRT and weight-loss program. That is a different panel, not the required price used for this testosterone-only model.3

What the $129 panel does not list

The published component list has no LH (luteinizing hormone), FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), or free testosterone.2 3

The Endocrine Society recommends measuring LH and FSH to help distinguish a problem in the testicles from a problem in the brain's hormone-signaling system in men with hypogonadism, a condition involving reduced testosterone production. That distinction can change the treatment entirely, especially if fertility is on the table. Free testosterone can matter when total testosterone lands in the borderline zone. It can also matter when a condition affects the proteins that carry testosterone in the blood.13

Do not assume the listed $129 panel covers your entire workup. Ask what an add-on costs before you assume the panel covers your workup. Ask separately about any repeat test.

How accepted outside results can remove one $129 panel charge

TRT Nation's enrollment form offers a free “I'll upload my own labs later” option. Its conditions are:

  • Drawn within 120 days
  • Must include total testosterone, CBC, CMP, and PSA if you're 40 or over
  • Must show your full name and the collection date
  • No at-home saliva or finger-prick kits

The form warns that incomplete results require additional testing.2

There is a catch: other live pages do not give the same acceptance rules.

Document checked on 11 September 2026 Recency wording Test-list difference worth checking
Enrollment form Within 120 days Lists total testosterone, CBC, CMP and PSA at 40+ for uploads
Current FAQ Within 120 days Confirm its required components against your actual report
Homepage and another live FAQ page Within six months Include estradiol in the outside-test list and use “over 40” PSA wording

Get your actual report accepted before counting on the saving. A report between four and six months old—or one missing estradiol—is exactly where these differences matter. Ask about PSA if you are exactly 40 rather than choosing the more convenient wording.2 5 4 6

If your doctor already ran the needed tests, using accepted results can avoid a duplicate panel purchase. It does not mean the original tests were free or that no further tests will be needed. The no-finger-prick rule also means you should not assume a kit used by another program is accepted here.

One panel doesn't meet the diagnostic standard

The Endocrine Society's guideline requires compatible symptoms or signs and consistently low testosterone, confirmed with appropriate repeat morning fasting testing. Its July 2026 statement specifies at least two early-morning, fasting testosterone tests and stresses accurate laboratory methods. One cutoff, including 300 ng/dL, is not a diagnosis on its own.13 14

One draw doesn't clear that bar. But two testosterone measurements do not automatically mean two complete $129 panels. A clinician may order a repeat testosterone test or other targeted tests; the reviewed offer does not establish their price or whether a separate diagnostic repeat is included.

The follow-up schedule is a different question. TRT Nation's FAQ describes a check around 10 weeks, another about six months later, then yearly testing, with individual needs able to change the schedule. That is why this page shows a baseline-plus-two-follow-ups scenario without calling it a complete or universal testing bill.6 5

Paid $129 panels in the example Laboratory subtotal Base 12-month treatment equivalent + panels
Two $258.00 $1,457.88
Three $387.00 $1,586.88
Four $516.00 $1,715.88

These are sensitivity tests for your budget, not recommended monitoring schedules. A separate testosterone measurement or specialist test may have a different price.

Sort your lab situation before you order anything. If you've had blood drawn in the last four months, dig out the report and check it against the list above. Ask TRT Nation to confirm acceptance and the cost of any missing or repeat tests. Our guide to TRT blood tests explains the questions to bring to your clinician.

Why does the enrollment form also show $130 a month?

TRT Nation's public enrollment form contains two TRT Therapy blocks with the same listed contents: one at $99.99 a month and one at $130, both with a 2.5-month minimum. The company also publishes a footnote saying California pricing may vary. We could not establish whether the $130 option is selectable for a particular patient or tied to geography.2 1

Their testosterone page carries a second, quieter footnote under the price: *California pricing may vary. That's all it says. No number.

Then we opened the actual new-patient enrollment form. It lists two TRT Therapy blocks. Same package name. Same contents — testosterone cypionate, anastrozole, syringes. Same 2.5-month minimum. Different prices:

Price shown in the form Monthly equivalent Calculated 2.5-month block Block + one $129 panel
$99.99 option $99.99 $249.98 $378.98
$130 option: applicability unconfirmed $130.00 $325.00 $454.00

We cannot see the form's logic, so we can't confirm the $130 tier is California-only, or that it's tied to geography at all. Finding the text is not the same as completing a state-selected checkout.2

What to do with that: if you're in California — or anywhere, honestly — ask one question before you pay. “What is my price per month in my state, and does it change after the first order?” Get it in writing.

If your ongoing quote is $130, the 12-month equivalent plus three $129 panels is $1,947, not $1,586.88. The modeled difference is $360.12, before any other differences in charges. You should know that before you decide.

What does HCG cost at TRT Nation?

TRT Nation advertises a TRT + hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) bundle at $180 a month with a 2.5-month minimum. That produces a $2,547 annual price-equivalent scenario with three $129 panels. A separate hCG field in the enrollment form is marked hidden and contains conflicting arithmetic, so it is not a verified standalone offer.1 2

We found it inside the enrollment form, in a section the form itself marks “Hidden”: $80/month, with a stated 2.5-month minimum of $199.2

Those figures do not agree: $80 × 2.5 = $200, not $199. Nor does hidden form text prove that a patient can select and purchase that option. Get a written standalone quote rather than treating either number as a confirmed charge.

The published bundle costs $80.01 more per month than the $99.99 base offer, or $960.12 more over twelve months. That's about an 80% increase in the advertised treatment rate. The same three-panel assumption was used for both annual scenarios; that does not establish identical testing needs.

Before you add it — the part that isn't about money

Testosterone taken from outside the body can suppress the hormone signals that drive sperm production. Sperm production can fall substantially or stop. That does not establish whether a particular person will become infertile, preserve fertility, or recover on a predictable timeline.15

hCG is a different hormone, not testosterone replacement itself. FDA-approved hCG products have specific indications. For example, Pregnyl's label includes selected cases of male hypogonadotropic hypogonadism—a condition involving inadequate hormone signals. That does not make every use alongside testosterone approved, or establish which hCG product TRT Nation would dispense.16

Specialty guidance allows clinicians to consider hCG and other non-testosterone treatments in selected men with infertility and low testosterone. It does not promise that adding hCG to TRT preserves fertility. If having children matters to you, discuss that before testosterone treatment, not after buying an add-on.15

One more thing worth flagging plainly. On TRT Nation's flash-sale page, the icons displayed beneath the injectable testosterone product include “Fertility-Friendly” and “Easy Oral Dosing.” Neither describes injectable testosterone. We cannot establish why those labels appear there. But it's on the page a man reads while he's deciding, and given what exogenous testosterone can do to sperm production, it's the wrong thing to get wrong.8 15

And enclomiphene isn't TRT

TRT Nation also sells enclomiphene at $99.99 for a 30-day supply, with a one-month minimum on the enrollment form. It is a non-testosterone treatment, not another testosterone formulation.2

Flat facts: enclomiphene has not been approved by the FDA for any use. Calling it “off-label” would blur that distinction: off-label use means an FDA-approved drug is used in a way its approved label does not describe. An unapproved compounded enclomiphene product is not an FDA-approved drug used off-label.17 11

It's a different drug doing a different job — it nudges your body to make more of its own testosterone rather than supplying testosterone from outside. It is not “natural TRT,” and a different mechanism does not prove it is safer.17

Separate non-TRT example Calculated amount
One advertised 30-day supply $99.99
One supply + one $129 panel $228.99
Twelve 30-day supplies, before tests $1,199.88
Twelve supplies + three panels, purely as a price comparison $1,586.88

Twelve 30-day supplies equal 360 days, not a full 365-day year. This table does not establish the appropriate monitoring schedule, actual payment dates or the number of fills someone needs. A lower initial purchase does not make enclomiphene the right treatment or guarantee fertility.

Whether it fits you is a clinical conversation, not a checkout decision.

If fertility is part of your picture, don't let a price page decide it. A urologist, reproductive urologist, or endocrinologist can evaluate the cause and discuss appropriate options. Find My TRT Path helps you organize the care-route questions to bring; it doesn't diagnose anything. See also TRT and fertility.

Can you cancel TRT Nation or get a refund?

TRT Nation's checkout page states that if you and the provider decide during your consultation that treatment isn't right for you, you receive a full refund of your purchase. Its Refund and Cancellation Policy separately reserves a no-refund, no-return position on all purchases and says the patient agrees to be charged for the 2.5-month period. The public wording does not resolve how those statements apply to every charge or cancellation stage.2 7

There is a published refund statement. There is also a published restriction. That is not enough to call enrollment risk-free or promise that the consultation is a no-cost test of whether you will be approved.

Before paying, ask for the answer that applies to your order:

Point in the process Question to get answered in writing
Before the consultation Can I cancel, and which charges would be refunded?
After blood has been drawn Is completed laboratory work excluded from a refund?
Treatment is not approved or not chosen at consultation Does the full-refund statement cover treatment, labs and any other charge?
Prescription approved or sent to a pharmacy Does approval or fulfillment change the cancellation terms?
Existing-patient refill What is the last point at which the order can be canceled, and how do I confirm that?

The reviewed pages do not supply a consistent answer for all five stages. Keep the written terms and your payment receipt rather than assuming the broadest refund wording applies.

Refills are not automatic; billing needs a separate answer

The cancellation policy is explicit that Nation Medical will not automatically refill prescriptions and that patients must request each refill. That does not, by itself, prove that nothing can be billed automatically or that not reordering cancels an existing charge.7

The FAQ says a refill can be requested as early as week eight. That is an order-request window, not a required purchase every eight weeks, a guaranteed refill approval, or a first-year billing calendar.6

That last one is a scheduling risk, not just a billing quirk. You are the reminder system. Ask the care team when to request review and what to do if an order is delayed, then put the agreed dates in your calendar. A delayed refill is a question for the prescriber, not a reason to change treatment yourself.

One more thing worth reading before you need it: TRT Nation's Terms are governed by Florida law, require disputes be resolved individually in Hillsborough County, Florida, and include a class-action waiver. It's just better known now than later.18

The honest downside, and the actual tradeoff

TRT Nation does not let you start with one month of testosterone. The advertised minimum is 2.5 months—about $250 at the base rate—and if you were hoping to try this for a hundred dollars and see how it goes, that's not on the menu.1

Male Excel is not a verified one-month alternative. Its injection offer is listed as a 60-day supply billed every other month, with a separate required $99 monthly membership and $99 initial consultation. Its no-contract language does not erase the medication purchase block.19

Male Excel does publish FSA/HSA eligibility and a conditional 90-day guarantee covering membership fees. The guarantee is not a blanket refund of medication, laboratory, shipping or consultation costs; its stated conditions include following the provider's plan for 90 days without improvement. We did not establish that TRT Nation offers—or rules out—HSA/FSA payment.20 19

The honest comparison is a lower advertised treatment rate without a separately advertised membership fee versus a different membership-and-medication package. We cannot verify that TRT Nation's purchase block causes its lower price, or that one program provides better clinical care.

Need to compare the membership and payment terms instead? Compare Male Excel's costs, two-month billing and guarantee limits →. It is a different cost model, not a promised smaller or refundable treatment trial.

TRT Nation's enclomiphene is sold in 30-day supplies, but a shorter purchase is not a clinical reason to choose a different drug. If neither payment model fits, compare online and local care before committing.

What kind of testosterone are you paying for?

TRT Nation's current FAQ says medications come from licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies; another live FAQ describes FDA-registered pharmacies. Those are provider statements about sourcing, not verification that your exact testosterone product is FDA-approved. The reviewed pages did not identify the patient-specific dispensing pharmacy or resolve the exact product you would receive.5 6

Plain English first.

A compounded medication is prepared by combining, mixing or altering ingredients to meet a medical need. An FDA-approved medication has been reviewed by the FDA before it goes on sale.21

The FDA is direct about this: compounded drugs are not FDA approved, which means the agency does not review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. The FDA also says compounded drugs should generally be used by patients whose medical needs can't be met by an FDA-approved drug.21

Note the difference in what the two phrases describe. “FDA-registered pharmacy” describes the facility. “FDA-approved drug” describes the medicine. A pharmacy can be properly registered and still compound a preparation that has never been through FDA approval. Both statements can be true at once. Registration does not establish that a compounded preparation has the same approval, evidence or quality review as an approved product.21

What we could not confirm: the exact dispensing pharmacy, and whether the testosterone cypionate you would receive is an FDA-approved product or a compounded preparation. We are not asserting either. Ask this, word for word: “Is the testosterone cypionate you dispense an FDA-approved product, and which pharmacy fills it?”

For an approved product, ask for the manufacturer and product identifier. For a compounded preparation, ask why it is being prescribed for you. Get the pharmacy's full name and location so its license can be checked with the relevant state pharmacy board. A product name alone does not settle approval status.

Why this is a money question, not just paperwork

A pharmacy price is not a monthly treatment budget. For example, GoodRx's table displayed $27.92 with a coupon and $76.12 average retail for one 1 mL, 200 mg/mL vial of testosterone cypionate when checked on 11 September 2026. Those are changing price-reference figures, not a local quote, a recommended quantity, or a monthly supply.22

The vial price and the care price answer different questions.

What you're buying from an online clinic is the care around a prescription as well as the medication: evaluation, follow-up, shipping and access to help. With TRT Nation, the listed labs are separate. Compare the same components before deciding a clinic package or a pharmacy prescription costs less.2

That is a legitimate thing to compare. Just know what is included, so you can judge whether the care package is worth what it costs. Readers who need a specific FDA-approved product or a non-injection format should confirm that exact prescription and dispensing option rather than assuming this injection offer covers it. Our treatment-format guide explains the distinctions.

Does TRT Nation work in my state?

TRT Nation's homepage and another live FAQ explicitly exclude Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri and Hawaii. A state appearing in a form is not proof that treatment or laboratory ordering is available there. Confirm the current treatment, laboratory and pharmacy arrangements for your location before paying.4 6

Here's the provider-stated coverage map we could actually support on 11 September 2026:

Location What the public statement supports What to do before paying
Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri, Hawaii Explicitly excluded by TRT Nation's published service statement Do not assume an intake or address field overrides the exclusion. Ask whether the statement has changed.
California Not excluded, but the treatment page warns that pricing may vary Get a state-specific initial and ongoing quote.
Other 44 states Not excluded by that statement Confirm clinician access, the treatment offered and laboratory availability for your state.
District of Columbia Not resolved by the “every state except” wording Ask for explicit confirmation.

The 45 states not excluded by that statement are: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.4

Missouri is the easy one to miss. Do not use a selectable address as proof of clinical availability. We did not complete a state-specific enrollment or verify each state's assigned clinician. Coverage can change, so this is a dated provider statement, not a permanent or individual eligibility verdict.

Is TRT Nation actually the cheapest way to get TRT?

TRT Nation's base price model is lower than the Male Excel injection model shown below, but that does not establish the cheapest complete care route for you. A clinician and pharmacy billed through your insurance may cost less—or may not—depending on coverage, testing and your share of the bill. Compare written totals rather than a vial price against a clinic package.

Care route or offer Price model—not a verified first-year invoice Labs and other costs Commitment and payment terms
TRT Nation — base testosterone offer $1,586.88 Includes three $129 panels in this model; extra testing or care not priced Advertised 2.5-month minimum; conflicting refund statements
TRT Nation — only if quoted $130/month $1,947.00 Same three-panel assumption; applicability of the rate unconfirmed Form text shows the same minimum
TRT Nation — TRT + hCG $2,547.00 Same three-panel assumption, not a confirmed identical testing plan Published 2.5-month minimum
Male Excel — advertised injectable package $2,727 before shipping and any other unpriced charges Homepage states six-monthly blood testing is included in membership; confirm initial and additional diagnostic testing Required membership; medication listed in 60-day supplies billed every other month; guarantee limited to membership fees and its conditions
Your clinician + a retail pharmacy Requires a quote Visits, tests and prescription priced separately; insurance benefits and pharmacy price vary Provider, pharmacy and plan terms determine your costs

TRT Nation inputs come from its treatment page, enrollment form and laboratory offer. Male Excel inputs come from its own pricing and membership pages. These are different packages, not a like-for-like clinical comparison.1 2 3 19 20

Male Excel's $2,727 is $99 for the initial consultation, $99 a month for the required medical membership, and a starting $120 a month for its advertised injectable package: $99 + (12 × $99) + (12 × $120). Shipping is extra and the medication price can vary.19

That package lists testosterone cypionate with thyroid medication. Male Excel's homepage describes its testosterone as compounded and thyroid medication as used when clinically appropriate. It is not an identical testosterone-only offer, and the price listing does not establish a medical need for thyroid treatment. The six-month testing inclusion is provider-stated; a second diagnostic draw, specialist workup or other extra test still needs a clear answer.19 20

The difference between the displayed base models is $1,140.12. It is a difference between stated-price calculations—not guaranteed savings, a complete cash-payment comparison, or a clinical-quality ranking.

Insurance, HSA and FSA: ask the right party

TRT Nation's reviewed order forms show card payment, but that alone does not establish insurance reimbursement or HSA/FSA rules. We did not confirm insurance billing, a specific covered benefit, or benefit-account eligibility for this purchase. Ask TRT Nation what it can bill and document; ask your insurer or account administrator what your plan allows.2

Male Excel says its approach is not covered by insurance and advertises FSA/HSA eligibility. Those are provider statements, not a determination of what your own account will reimburse.19

Insurance is not limited to in-person care. An eligible telehealth visit may be covered, depending on the plan and provider; that does not mean a particular cash-pay program is covered. Check network status, any prior authorization, test coverage and the specific medication with your plan.23

Why a local quote is still worth getting

If you have a doctor who'll engage, start by asking for a full evaluation and a cost estimate. An existing clinician may be able to coordinate testing and covered care without a separate clinic membership. But we cannot promise a prescription, a faster workup or four-figure savings.

If low testosterone has not been confirmed—or a clinician has raised a safety concern—the next step is to resolve that issue, not to find a program that will skip it. The same diagnostic and prescribing standards matter whether the visit happens online or in person.13

See TRT cost across care models for the broader comparison. This page's job is to make TRT Nation's offer understandable, not to select the cheapest provider for every patient.

The number a monthly-price table misses

A $1,586.88 annual price equivalent is not necessarily what leaves your account in the first twelve months.

Here's why. Twelve months at the base treatment rate equals $1,199.88. But the advertised purchase unit is a 2.5-month block. If you make five purchases of $249.98 within your first 365 days, treatment payments total $1,249.90. Add three paid $129 panels and that example totals $1,636.90.

Those five advertised blocks represent 12.5 months of supply on paper. We did not verify that every patient makes five purchases in year one, or establish a refill calendar from the phrase “2.5 months.” Purchase timing, the actual supply prescribed and the quote control your cash budget. Calendar months are not a fixed number of days.

The example is $50.02 higher than the annualized three-panel figure. A purchase late in the year still takes money from your account that year, even if part of the supply is used later.

Build your own first-year payment ledger

Use written quotes and actual payment dates—not an assumed monthly debit:

Add to the ledger What to record
Each treatment purchase paid during your first 365 days Payment date and actual charge, including any state adjustment
Provider-ordered labs Each paid order, not an assumed universal panel count
Outside and repeat testing Your out-of-pocket amount, including any separately ordered diagnostic test
Other confirmed charges Shipping not included in your quote, consultations outside the package, specialist care or other known fees
Refunds Subtract only amounts actually received
Costs still unknown Keep them separate and visible; do not enter zero

Your known cash subtotal = treatment payments + laboratory payments + other confirmed charges − refunds received. It becomes a complete budget only after the required unknowns are priced. Save the written quote beside the ledger so you can compare what was promised with what was charged.

And the cost to consider beyond the first year: continued treatment means continued spending. At unchanged prices, a twelve-month base equivalent with one paid panel would be $1,328.88. That is a later-year scenario, not a promise that your clinician will require only one panel or that your cash payments will equal it.6

Could telemedicine rules affect a future refill?

The current DEA/HHS temporary flexibility allows certain controlled-substance prescriptions without a prior in-person evaluation through 31 December 2026, subject to its conditions. It is not a blanket waiver of licensing, state law or other prescribing requirements. Ask how future visit requirements could affect your care and costs.25 26

This isn't marketing urgency. It's a federal rule with a date on it.

Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance in the United States and requires a valid prescription. Under the current temporary pathway, an appropriately authorized, DEA-registered practitioner may prescribe Schedule II–V medicines after a qualifying audio-video telemedicine encounter without a prior in-person visit, provided the prescription and practice meet the rule's other conditions.24 26

A phone-consultation listing is not proof that a new testosterone prescription can legally be issued by phone alone. Other lawful pathways and exceptions exist; this extension is not the whole of telemedicine law.25 26

We cannot promise another extension or say what every patient's requirements will be in 2027. A later refill could fall on the other side of the current deadline even when an initial September purchase does not.

The question to ask: “If the federal telemedicine rules change, what visits would I need, who would arrange them, and what would they cost?” Ask how care or records would be transferred if the provider could no longer serve you. No provider can guarantee future legal rules or a future prescription.

Worth knowing separately: state rules layer on top of the federal ones and vary. Availability in your state today doesn't guarantee it stays that way.26

What did we actually verify?

This is a cost analysis built from published documents. It is not a hands-on review and we don't call it one. We checked the wording of the sources and the arithmetic, while keeping provider claims separate from facts we could establish independently.

What we did not do We did not create an account, complete a checkout, contact support, test a cancellation, verify any individual clinician or pharmacy licence, or use either service.

How we work: this page follows How We Review TRT Providers, which separates verified facts from provider-stated facts, customer-experience signals, and our own editorial conclusions. We show cost calculations and their limits rather than repeating a teaser price. This page assigns no scores or star ratings, because a pricing audit can't measure clinical quality and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

On our commercial relationships: we have affiliate relationships with Male Excel and Taurus Meds. We earn nothing from TRT Nation. Its base price model is about $1,140 lower than the Male Excel model shown here, with the package differences and unpriced charges explained above. We'd rather tell you that than have you work it out later and stop trusting anything else on this site.

Read our editorial standards and privacy policy. Found a changed price or policy? Send a correction with the page and date; do not include unnecessary personal medical information.

What else should you know about TRT Nation's cost?

The questions below cover the price and policy details easiest to miss. A quoted rate can settle the cost of an offer; it cannot settle your diagnosis, treatment choice or personal eligibility.

How much does TRT Nation cost per month?

The advertised testosterone rate is $99.99 a month with a 2.5-month minimum, implying about $250 per minimum purchase before labs. A $130 rate also appears in public enrollment-form text, but we did not verify who can select it.1 2

What is TRT Nation's first charge?

The base calculation is $378.98 for a rounded $249.98 treatment block plus one $129 panel. It is an estimate, not a verified checkout charge. Accepted existing results, a state-specific quote, additional testing or a confirmed discount can change what you pay.1 2

Does TRT Nation include blood work?

No. Its listed men's panel is $129 separately. Three paid panels would cost $387, but that is a budget scenario, not a universal first-year requirement. Accepted outside results may avoid a provider panel charge; public pages disagree about their allowed age and required contents.3 5 6

Does TRT Nation charge a membership fee?

No separate membership fee is advertised for the testosterone package reviewed here. Consultations and support are listed as included. That does not establish that every additional test or service is free.2 6

Does TRT Nation take insurance?

The reviewed enrollment form shows card payment; it did not establish insurance billing or your right to reimbursement. Ask about insurance documentation, HSA and FSA before you pay rather than assuming. Confirm the answer with your plan or account administrator.2

How much is hCG at TRT Nation?

The published TRT + hCG bundle is $180 a month with a 2.5-month minimum. A hidden standalone hCG field shows $80 a month and a conflicting $199 minimum; we could not verify that as a purchasable offer. hCG is a different hormone, not a guarantee of preserved fertility.1 2 15

Is there a minimum purchase at TRT Nation?

Yes—2.5 months for the advertised testosterone and TRT + hCG offers. Enclomiphene is listed separately in 30-day supplies with a one-month minimum; it is not TRT and is not FDA-approved.1 2 17

Can I cancel TRT Nation anytime?

Do not assume that canceling guarantees a refund. The enrollment page's conditional consultation-refund statement conflicts with the separate no-refund reservation. The policy requires patients to request refills, but that is not proof that every billing obligation ends when you stop reordering.2 7

What states does TRT Nation serve?

Its published service statement excludes Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri and Hawaii. Confirm treatment and lab access for your location; a state appearing in a dropdown does not override the stated exclusions. California pricing may vary.4 1

How old do you have to be?

TRT Nation's form sets a minimum age of 24 for this men's program. Meeting the age rule is not clinical approval. The form directs women to clinicians experienced in female hormone care; this cost guide is not a gender-affirming-care or adolescent-care eligibility guide.2

Is TRT Nation cheaper than getting TRT from my own doctor?

There is no universal answer. Compare the full cost of evaluation, testing, follow-up and the actual prescription—not one vial against a clinic package. Insurance may apply to eligible online or in-person care, depending on your plan and provider.23

Do I need labs before starting?

Yes. A diagnosis of low testosterone requires compatible symptoms or signs and consistently low results confirmed with appropriate repeat early-morning testing. One symptom list, one result or one cutoff cannot do that. Ask whether the quote includes the needed diagnostic repeat as well as later monitoring.13 14

What should you do next?

Get a written price and the terms that apply to your order before deciding. If the injection package, required evaluation, state availability and payment block fit your situation, the next step is to review TRT Nation's published offer—not to assume treatment will be approved.

Call 813-413-1000 and confirm your initial charge, ongoing purchase price, accepted labs, cost of any repeat testing, and refund terms. Ask for the exact medication and dispensing pharmacy as well. You can compare those answers with the tables above, then decide.2

See TRT Nation's current treatment options and pricing →

If those terms don't fit, don't force it. The right next step may be a clinician-led evaluation, a fertility-focused appointment, an insurance-based care option or a different payment model—not a different drug chosen because its first purchase is smaller.
