Male Excel vs MangoRx: Which Online TRT Can Actually Treat You?
Compare Male Excel and MangoRx on state availability, true cost, testing, medication identity and clinical limitations.
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Male Excel vs MangoRx starts with your state. Male Excel lists 39 states and costs from $219–$231 monthly before extras; MangoRx's August filing limits TRT sales to Florida. Compare MangoRx there for injectable pricing or FDA-approved Kyzatrex, but get a current quote. If diagnosis or fertility plans are unresolved, choose a clinician-led evaluation first. 1 3 5 12

Pick Male Excel if: you live in one of its 39 listed states, you want to discuss a daily injection or a cream, and you like its provider-stated model of one provider with check-ins every 60 days. 3 4 5
Compare MangoRx if: you live in Florida and want to check its injectable offer or discuss FDA-approved oral Kyzatrex through PRIME. The $99 announcement covered injections, not PRIME, and neither current complete price was confirmed. 1 2 9
Pick neither yet if: low testosterone hasn't been confirmed with a proper evaluation and repeat morning blood tests, or having children is a near-term priority. If insurance must pay, start with an in-network clinician. If Male Excel excludes your state—or you are in D.C., which its list does not resolve—check the state table before paying. 5 7 12 13
| The 3 things that decide it | Male Excel | MangoRx |
|---|---|---|
| Published state access | 39 states; D.C. not resolved by the FAQ | Florida in the Form 10-Q filed August 13, 2026; ask about any later expansion |
| Monthly price basis | From $219 (injection bundle) or $231 (cream bundle), before extras | $99 injectable offer announced February 19, 2026; current injectable and PRIME totals not confirmed |
| Testosterone format | Compounded cream or testosterone cypionate injections; exact injectable product needs confirmation | Injectable program or FDA-approved Kyzatrex capsules through PRIME |

One competing review lists MangoRx in 39 states. Its comparison also leads with Male Excel's $99 membership as if it were a full treatment price. The companies' own records tell a different story: MangoRx reported Florida-only TRT sales, and Male Excel bills medication on top of its membership. Those prices don't buy the same thing. 1 3 21

What we actually verified — September 28, 2026
Checked: Male Excel's pricing, FAQ, home, test-kit, safety, terms, and guarantee pages; Mangoceuticals' Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, filed August 13, and its February 19, 2026 injectable TRT announcement; Kyzatrex's FDA approval record and current prescribing information; Hone Health's state table; Endocrine Society, FDA, DEA, and HHS sources; and the original Trustpilot profiles.
Confirmed in public records: MangoRx's general Florida TRT statement and its separate PRIME-specific Florida statement; Kyzatrex's FDA approval and current label; and testosterone's Schedule III status. We also confirmed what Male Excel currently publishes about its 11 excluded states, prices, and contracted-pharmacy restriction.
Provider-stated (we didn't test it): each company's inclusions, lab schedules, clinician access, support, and guarantees. A filed company statement is evidence of what the company reported, not an independent test of the care delivered.
Could not confirm: MangoRx's current checkout prices, complete lab and follow-up terms, or exact injectable product; the specific injectable product and pharmacy Male Excel would assign to you; shipping amounts; all extra testing charges; or the assigned clinician's and pharmacy's state authorization. MangoRx's current treatment and policy pages did not return readable terms in our check; that does not prove the details are absent for customers.
We didn't enroll, pay, or receive care from either company. This is a comparison, not a hands-on review.

How do Male Excel and MangoRx compare side by side?
Male Excel and MangoRx differ on where they report treating, what they charge, and what they prescribe. Male Excel publishes a cash-pay program in 39 states with cream or injections and separately priced membership. MangoRx's August filing limits TRT sales to Florida; its February $99 announcement covered injections, while PRIME uses FDA-approved oral Kyzatrex. 1 2 3 5 7 9

Sources and dates for every row are in the sections below.
Two words to know before we go further:
- FDA-approved means the FDA reviewed that exact product for safety, effectiveness, and quality before it could be sold.
- Compounded means a pharmacy mixed it for patients. The FDA does not review compounded drugs before they're sold. That's not the same as "generic," and it's not "safer" or "more natural." 10 22
Can Male Excel or MangoRx treat you in your state?
Male Excel lists 39 states; MangoRx's August 13, 2026 filing describes TRT sales limited to Florida. Florida is therefore the only documented overlap in the sources we verified, not proof that no expansion has happened since the filing. Neither a state listing nor an advertisement guarantees an appointment or a prescription. 1 5
Here's the exact sentence from Mangoceuticals' Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, filed with the SEC on August 13, 2026:
"We are currently limiting sales of our testosterone replacement therapy product sales to clients in the state of Florida, with plans to expand nationally as we grow." 1
A few honest notes about that line:
- It's the company's own words, in a legal filing. We trust that dated disclosure over an unsupported review-site state count.
- The filing also names PRIME. A separate passage explicitly says PRIME sales are limited to Florida, with plans to expand. The general TRT restriction is not the only evidence about the oral program.
- It can change. The filing covers April through June and was filed in August. If you're outside Florida and MangoRx tells you it can treat you, get that in writing for the exact program before you pay. 1
Male Excel's FAQ, checked September 28, 2026, says its providers prescribe in all states except Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. That leaves 39 states. D.C. is not resolved by this all-states-except list. Being "not excluded" still doesn't guarantee an appointment or a prescription. 5
Your state, both providers
Here's what we found when we lined up Male Excel's exclusion list, MangoRx's filing, and Hone Health's published state table, checked September 28, 2026. Hone is included because its men's Plus plan is listed in three states excluded by Male Excel and outside MangoRx's reported sales area. 1 5 18
The totals: Florida is the one documented overlap. In 38 other states, Male Excel is listed but MangoRx's filing does not support access. Hawaii, Idaho, and Mississippi are excluded by Male Excel, but Hone lists a men's Plus plan. For the other eight excluded states and D.C., these sources do not establish access through either compared provider or Hone's men's plans.
How to read the table: "Listed" means Male Excel's FAQ includes the state by exclusion, or MangoRx's filing names Florida. "Outside filing" means outside the Florida sales area reported in August—not a claim that we tested today's intake. All entries are provider-stated; confirm your location, program, and prescriber before payment.

Sources: Male Excel FAQ; Mangoceuticals Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, filed August 13; Hone Health service-availability table. Checked September 28, 2026. A listing is not a promise of an appointment or a prescription. 1 5 18
If neither provider has confirmed access in your state
- Hawaii, Idaho, or Mississippi: Hone Health lists men's Plus there; Idaho and Mississippi also have Premium listed. Read our Hone TRT cost guide before comparing its membership and prescription charges. 18
- Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or D.C.: a local primary care doctor or urologist is a solid first stop — see TRT clinic near me. Considering Taurus Meds instead? We did not verify a complete state-by-state TRT list on its public site; our Taurus Meds state availability guide gives you the questions to ask before paying. That is an access check, not a verified recommendation for these states. 25
The state you're sitting in is the one that counts
The rules that apply are usually the ones for the state you're physically in during the video visit. Your prescriber must have the required state authority, and the pharmacy must be allowed to dispense and ship your prescription there. Don't use a friend's address to get around a limit. It doesn't create a lawful prescription. 7 15 17
The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay.
Which one should you pick?
Pick by state first, then by the treatment format you want. Male Excel is the documented option between these two in 38 states outside Florida and publishes more detail about its follow-up model. In Florida, MangoRx merits a current injectable quote or a PRIME discussion; neither an old price nor a bigger review sample proves better care. 1 2 4 5
Find yourself in one of these:
1. You're in one of Male Excel's 39 states and want TRT online. Male Excel is worth checking for its cream or injection program. Outside Florida, MangoRx's filing does not establish access; in Florida, compare both. The rest of this page tells you exactly how Male Excel's published prices stack up and what to ask. 1 3 5
2. You're in Florida and price matters most. If MangoRx still offers the announced $99 injectable plan for all 12 months, its $1,188 price model is $1,539 below Male Excel's $2,727 injection-bundle model, before any missing costs. Before you pay, get two things in writing: the exact injectable drug, and the price at checkout. A competing review reports $149, but we could not confirm that amount in readable current provider terms either. 2 3 21
3. You specifically want an FDA-approved testosterone pill. MangoRx's PRIME program is the relevant one of these two to ask about: it uses Kyzatrex, and its August filing specifically limits PRIME sales to Florida. Male Excel's listed oral product is not testosterone. Ask a local urologist, or look for a clinic that prescribes Kyzatrex directly; it is not exclusive to MangoRx. 1 3 9 22
4. You don't want a thyroid pill added to your plan. Male Excel's published testosterone price bundles include one, but its homepage says thyroid treatment is used when clinically appropriate. Ask Male Excel whether it's optional for you and what the plan costs without it. If a clinic requires a drug without explaining the medical reason, get another clinical opinion before comparing Hone or Taurus Meds. 3 4
5. You hate needles and you're not in Florida. Male Excel's cream is your needle-free option here if it serves your state and the clinician finds it appropriate. It's compounded. If you'd rather have an FDA-approved gel, see our testosterone gel providers guide. 5 10
6. You want kids in the next few years. Neither. See a urologist or reproductive urologist first. We explain why further down. 12 13
7. You need insurance to pay. Start with an in-network doctor. Male Excel does not take insurance; we did not confirm MangoRx's current TRT insurance terms. See TRT providers that take insurance. 5 7
8. You're not sure low T is your real problem. Neither yet. The first step is a proper evaluation, not a subscription. 12 13
If option 1 is you, the next step is simple.
Check Male Excel's current state list → The FAQ also links to its assessment. The published first paid step is a $99 provider consult with an at-home blood test. A clinician decides whether treatment fits — paying doesn't guarantee a prescription. 3 5
What will you really pay in the first year?
Male Excel's published injection and cream bundles work out to $219 or $231 a month including the required membership. Add its $99 initial consultation and the 12-month price illustrations are $2,727 or $2,871 before shipping, other charges, or a possible extra refill. MangoRx's historical $99 injectable offer would be $1,188 over 12 months if unchanged; its current complete price and PRIME price were not confirmed. 2 3 5
Here's the same math for both, side by side.
| Cost field | Male Excel — daily injection bundle | Male Excel — cream bundle | MangoRx — announced injectable offer | MangoRx — PRIME / Kyzatrex |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| To start | $99 consult + at-home test | $99 consult + at-home test | Visits and labs included in the February $99 announcement | Current upfront cost not confirmed |
| Monthly price basis | $99 membership + $120 medicine = $219 | $99 + $132 = $231 | $99, announced February 19, 2026; not a verified current quote | Current medication and care charges not confirmed |
| 12-month price illustration | $2,727 | $2,871 | $1,188, only if $99 applies for all 12 months | Cannot calculate from verified current terms |
| Shipping and handling | Extra; amount not confirmed | Extra; amount not confirmed | Current terms not confirmed | Current terms not confirmed |
| Thyroid tablet in listed price bundle | Yes; prescribed only when clinically appropriate, per homepage | Yes; prescribed only when clinically appropriate, per homepage | Not listed in the announcement | Not established |
| Other required costs | Confirm repeat diagnostic testing, complete safety labs, any replacement kit fee, and applicable tax | Same questions | Confirm complete initial and monitoring tests, extra visits, and renewal terms | Obtain a separate itemized quote |
| What this total does not establish | All cash charges in your first 365 days or your prescribed medication price | Same limitation | Current availability, current price, or the price of PRIME | A $99 or $149 PRIME price |
How we did the math: start fee + (monthly price × 12). Male Excel: $99 + 12 × ($99 + $120) = $2,727 for the injection bundle, or $99 + 12 × ($99 + $132) = $2,871 for the cream bundle. These models include 12 membership charges and six 60-day medication supplies at the published monthly equivalents. MangoRx: 12 × $99 = $1,188 only if the February injectable offer applies unchanged. Male Excel's pricing page and test-kit page were checked September 28, 2026. These are advertised-rate illustrations, not personal quotes or confirmed complete 365-day costs. 2 3 6 7
The gap: on paper, the unchanged $99 MangoRx injectable offer is $1,539 below Male Excel's injection-bundle model and $1,683 below its cream-bundle model over 12 monthly equivalents. At a hypothetical $149 monthly price, the same arithmetic would be $1,788, a $939 or $1,083 gap—but $149 is not a price we verified with MangoRx. None of these differences is a promised saving. They only matter after the provider confirms your program, state, complete bill, and renewal rate. 2 3 21
Why Male Excel's "$99" isn't the price
Male Excel's homepage says testosterone therapy "starts at $99 per month." That $99 is the membership. The medicine is billed on top. 3 4
Its pricing page also says "prices as low as $95 a month." That $95 is Triclozene, a clomiphene pill. It is not testosterone. 3
Male Excel does print the real structure: its pricing footnotes say the membership "is required for treatment" and isn't included in the medicine price. It's honest. It's just not where your eye lands first. 3
The billing structure trips people up
Male Excel bills the medicine every other month for a 60-day supply, and the membership every month. So your charges don't look the same each month. 3
One Male Excel customer, Thomas, listed a September 27, 2026 experience on Trustpilot and flagged exactly this: medicine billed in two-month blocks, plus a provider subscription billed monthly. That's one person's experience, not a measure of how often this happens. 19
One more wrinkle: 60 days isn't two calendar months. Six supplies cover 360 days. If actual billing follows a strict 60-day cycle, a seventh medicine charge could land inside your first 365 days—$240 more for the injection bundle or $264 more for the cream bundle at these prices. That would bring the illustrated cash charges to $2,967 or $3,135 before extras, while buying medication that extends beyond the year. The pricing page instead describes billing every other month, so this is a calendar scenario, not a confirmed seventh charge. Our Male Excel cost guide walks through that calendar. Ask Male Excel for your actual charge dates. 3
What the Male Excel membership buys
This is where the higher price earns its keep — or doesn't — for you. Male Excel says the $99 membership includes:
- One provider who stays with you ("Not outsourced. Not rotated," per its homepage)
- Unlimited messaging with the support team and unlimited provider e-visits
- A check-in every 60 days
- Blood panels every six months, according to the homepage; confirm exactly which tests and charges are included 3 4
Those are the company's claims. We didn't test response times. We could not verify MangoRx's current program-specific follow-up schedule, so Male Excel provides the clearer documented schedule in this comparison—not proof of better care. Ask how either plan handles earlier safety tests when your clinician or product label calls for them. 3 4 9 14
What about MangoRx's "all-inclusive"?
MangoRx's February 2026 announcement says the $99 injectable program includes doctor visits, lab work, and medication "to the extent prescribed." What it doesn't spell out: which blood tests happen after you start, how often, and whether any cost extra. Ask. The announcement does not price PRIME or establish today's renewal terms. 2
HSA, FSA, and insurance
- Male Excel: doesn't take insurance. Its pricing cards say FSA/HSA eligible. Its FAQ says it doesn't write letters of medical necessity, so check with your plan first. More in our Male Excel HSA/FSA guide.
- MangoRx: we couldn't find a current TRT insurance statement. Ask. 3 5 7

Pill, cream, or daily shot: which format do you want?
MangoRx's PRIME uses FDA-approved oral Kyzatrex, while Male Excel markets compounded cream and daily injections. Kyzatrex is taken with food, with the schedule set by the prescriber; Male Excel markets cream twice daily and injections daily. Each has real trade-offs in convenience, side-effect checks, and who can live around it. 1 3 9
| Format question | Kyzatrex (MangoRx PRIME) | Cream (Male Excel) | Daily injection (Male Excel) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Published schedule | Labeled starting schedule twice daily with food; the prescribed schedule can differ | Marketed twice daily; follow the actual prescription | Marketed once daily; follow the actual prescription |

Format, approval, safety, and state sources: 1 3 5 9 10 24
FDA-approved oral testosterone: Kyzatrex (MangoRx PRIME)
Kyzatrex is testosterone undecanoate in a soft capsule. It's FDA-approved for adult men whose low testosterone comes from a medical condition. 9 22
A few things its current prescribing information, updated August 26, 2026, says that matter to you:
- Blood pressure can go up. The label used to carry a boxed warning about this. That boxed warning was removed in July 2025, but blood pressure is still listed as a risk to watch.
- Your doctor should check hematocrit before you start and about every three months. Hematocrit is the share of your blood made of red blood cells. Testosterone can push it too high.
- It's not proven for low T that's just from aging. The label says safety and effectiveness in "age-related hypogonadism" haven't been established. (Hypogonadism means the body isn't making enough testosterone.) 9
The label also calls for periodic blood-pressure checks and does not recommend Kyzatrex for men with uncontrolled high blood pressure. This is not a complete safety list; your clinician must review the product and your history. 9
Compounded testosterone: Male Excel's cream
It's compounded, so it's not an FDA-approved product. Male Excel's own safety page warns that testosterone cream can rub off on kids and women through skin contact, and tells you how to prevent it. Credit to Male Excel for publishing that clearly. 5 10 24
Its safety page also says it's "not known" whether the cream is safe or effective for low testosterone due to aging. That's the same caution the Kyzatrex label carries. Neither company can promise more. 9 24
Injectable testosterone: Male Excel's daily injection
Male Excel markets a small daily shot under the skin instead of a weekly schedule. The company says this keeps levels steadier. We did not verify that its program produces better health outcomes than other schedules. For the evidence on daily vs weekly, see daily vs weekly testosterone injections. 3 4
MangoRx's injection
MangoRx's February $99 announcement describes an injectable program. We could not verify the exact currently dispensed product, manufacturer, concentration, or approval status from readable current provider material. Ask before you pay; a drug name alone would still not identify whether your vial is an FDA-approved product or a compounded preparation. 2 10
For a deeper format comparison, see testosterone cream vs oral testosterone and oral testosterone vs injections.
What drug would you actually get?
Ask each company for the exact product name before you pay. MangoRx's PRIME is linked to FDA-approved Kyzatrex, while Male Excel's cream is compounded; the exact injectable products were not confirmed. Thyroid medication, Triclozene, and MOJO are separate from testosterone and should not be treated as TRT. 1 3 5 9 10 11 23
Testosterone products and dispensing disclosures
| Testosterone product | Company | FDA status | What is disclosed about dispensing |

Non-testosterone products: thyroid, Triclozene, and MOJO
| Product | Company | What it is | Approval and dispensing limits |
|---|---|---|---|

| Triclozene | Male Excel | Compounded clomiphene blend with thyroid and selenomethionine; not TRT | The blend is not FDA-approved. Approved clomiphene products have a female ovulation indication; use in men is off-label 3 10 23 |
| MOJO | MangoRx | Enclomiphene, DHEA, and pregnenolone; not TRT | Compounded, not FDA-approved. The filing identifies related-party Epiq Scripts for its compounded products; current availability and individual dispensing need confirmation 1 |

The thyroid question
Male Excel's listed prices for both the cream and the injection include a daily thyroid tablet. Its homepage says thyroid treatment is used when needed, so the bundle is not proof that every patient must take it. Its safety information describes desiccated thyroid and says it "is not an Orange Book product." The direct approval evidence is the FDA's statement that animal-derived thyroid drugs are not FDA-approved—not the Orange Book phrase alone. 3 4 11 24
A thyroid drug treats a thyroid problem. So ask your Male Excel clinician two things: what thyroid condition it's treating in your case, and what your plan costs without it. The FDA also says animal-derived thyroid drugs are not eligible for compounding because they are regulated as biological products. Ask for the exact thyroid product, rather than assuming the words "thyroid support" settle its status. 11
Triclozene and Mojo are not TRT
Both are pills. Neither is testosterone. Triclozene contains clomiphene. Mojo contains enclomiphene. These ingredients may stimulate the body's own testosterone production in selected patients, but the blends are not interchangeable with TRT or proven fertility-preserving treatment plans. Don't let anyone call them "natural TRT." MangoRx's filing says it is not aware of clinical studies of its exact MOJO combination for the claimed use. More in Clomid vs TRT and enclomiphene vs TRT. 1 3 12 23
The trade-off with Male Excel
Male Excel's cream is not FDA-approved, and its terms say it will not send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice. The exact injectable product's approval status was not confirmed. If a verified FDA-approved product or an outside pharmacy is your priority, ask about MangoRx's Kyzatrex program in Florida or use a prescriber who can arrange the product and pharmacy you need — see our testosterone gel providers guide or local TRT care guide. 1 5 7 9
Separately, Male Excel publishes a care model with the same provider, a check-in every 60 days, and blood panels every six months. Those are useful service commitments to check, not benefits proved to result from compounding or restricted pharmacy choice. Its terms describe an affiliated lab, independently physician-owned medical groups, and contracted third-party pharmacies—not a wholly in-house medical and pharmacy service. 4 7
If a steady provider and regular check-ins matter to you, Male Excel publishes that model. Confirm the exact medicine, its status, the monitoring plan, and the bill before deciding.
Review Male Excel's care model and free-assessment link → When you get to your consult, ask two things: whether the thyroid tablet is needed in your case, and whether your injection is compounded.
How does each confirm low testosterone before prescribing?
Low testosterone should be confirmed with symptoms or signs plus consistently low results on at least two separate early-morning tests. Male Excel's homepage says clinicians can prescribe before lab results arrive when clinically appropriate; that statement does not explain how it establishes a new diagnosis. MangoRx's Kyzatrex program must be assessed against that product's labeling, including two low morning results before treatment. 4 9 12 13
What the standard looks like
- The Endocrine Society says to diagnose low testosterone only when you have matching symptoms or signs and testosterone that's clearly and consistently low, confirmed with repeat early-morning testing. Its July 2026 statement calls for at least two early-morning, fasting tests. 12 13
- The same guideline calls for accurate assays and appropriate interpretation; free testosterone can help in specific situations, such as borderline total results or altered binding proteins. It recommends LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) to distinguish causes. LH is a signal from the pituitary gland telling the testicles to make testosterone. Baseline hematocrit and follow-up testing are also part of the guideline's monitoring plan. 14
- No single number diagnoses low T. Not 300 ng/dL, not any cutoff, not a quiz. Total testosterone is all the testosterone in your blood; one reading on one day isn't the whole story. 12 13
Male Excel
Male Excel's first test is an at-home finger-prick kit. It checks five things: testosterone, estradiol, DHEA-S, free T3 (a thyroid hormone), and PSA (prostate-specific antigen, a prostate marker). Results take about five business days after the lab gets the kit. 4 5 6
The published kit list doesn't include hematocrit or LH. It also doesn't say whether a second morning test is required. That is a gap in the starter-kit description, not proof that these tests are never ordered. Ask for the complete diagnostic and safety-lab plan, including any extra charges. 4 6 14
And Male Excel's homepage says: "When clinically appropriate, our licensed, in-house medical providers can prescribe based on your symptoms and health history before lab results arrive." The page does not explain which situations that covers or whether prior diagnostic records are required. Ask: 4
"Will you confirm low testosterone with two early-morning tests before my first prescription? When do you check hematocrit and LH, and do those cost extra?"
MangoRx
MangoRx's February injectable announcement says lab work is included, but it does not give a complete diagnostic panel, repeat-test charge, or follow-up schedule. We could not verify those current terms from its treatment page. For PRIME specifically, the Kyzatrex label requires two low morning tests before starting and regular hematocrit and blood-pressure checks after. Ask how the program meets those requirements and obtain a separate PRIME quote; do not assume the injectable program's $99 announcement covers it. 2 9

Who should choose neither Male Excel nor MangoRx?
Choose a clinician-led evaluation before either subscription if fertility is a near-term priority or low testosterone has not been properly confirmed. Cancer history, elevated hematocrit, untreated severe sleep apnea, or a recent heart attack or stroke also call for a closer clinical review rather than a provider choice based on price. If insurance must pay, start with your plan's in-network care options. 12 14
If you want kids in the next few years. Testosterone from outside your body can lower spermatogenesis — your body's sperm production. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone in men planning fertility soon. A pill doesn't change that; Kyzatrex's label also notes testosterone can affect sperm production. Nobody can promise you'll stay fertile, or how fast it would come back. Start with a urologist or reproductive urologist. See TRT and fertility and best TRT providers for fertility. 9 12
If low T hasn't been confirmed. Tired, low drive, poor sleep — lots of things cause those. Get the repeat morning tests and a real evaluation first. Our how to get TRT guide lays out the steps. 12 13
If you have a complex history. The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone in several situations, including breast or prostate cancer, elevated hematocrit, untreated severe sleep apnea, uncontrolled heart failure, a heart attack or stroke within the past six months, and certain blood-clotting disorders. A relevant history needs individualized review; it is not a permanent yes-or-no decision from this page. Start with primary care, urology, endocrinology, or the specialist already managing the condition rather than selecting a cash-pay program first. 12 14
If you need insurance. Male Excel does not bill insurance for this program, and its terms also restrict submitting these charges for reimbursement. MangoRx's current TRT insurance terms were not confirmed. An in-network primary care doctor, urologist, or endocrinologist is the route to check first. See urologist vs endocrinologist for low testosterone. 5 7
Who this page is for. Adult men being evaluated for low testosterone. It isn't a guide for women, teens, gender-affirming care, or testosterone for sports or bodybuilding.

Will the company still be there in year two?
MangoRx's parent reported $68,757 in revenue for April–June 2026 and $228,688 in cash on June 30, along with a going-concern warning. Its August filing also reports a Nasdaq bid-price deficiency and an extension to February 1, 2027—not an immediate delisting. Those dated disclosures do not establish either company's present finances or predict whether your care will continue. 1
We're not predicting anything. We're showing you numbers MangoRx's parent company reported itself:
| Mangoceuticals, Inc. (MangoRx's parent) | Figure or disclosure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Total revenue, April–June 2026 (all products) | $68,757 | August 13 Form 10-Q 1 |
| Total revenue, April–June 2025 | $168,109 | August 13 Form 10-Q 1 |
| Cash and cash equivalents, June 30, 2026 | $228,688 | August 13 Form 10-Q 1 |
| Cash used in operations, January–June 2026 | $1,571,849 | August 13 Form 10-Q 1 |
| Going concern | Filing raises substantial doubt about continuing as a going concern | August 13 Form 10-Q 1 |
| Nasdaq bid-price requirement | February 4 deficiency notice; August 4 second compliance period through February 1, 2027 | August 13 Form 10-Q 1 |
At the first-half pace of cash used in operations, the cash on hand June 30 would not cover another full quarter without new money. That is a historical calculation, not a current cash balance, forecast, or evidence that patient care has stopped. The company may have raised funds since then. We did not establish a September cash balance or a later resolution of its bid-price deficiency. 1
Being public doesn't make a company better, and being private doesn't make it worse. Public filings just let you see more. We did not review a comparable public financial statement for Male Excel, so lack of one is not evidence that it is financially stronger.
Whichever you choose, protect yourself:
- Download every lab result as a PDF.
- Keep your prescriber's name, the pharmacy name, and your current prescription details.
- Ask how to get your records if you leave, and whether there's a fee.
If you ever need to move to a new provider, our guide to switching TRT providers covers it. Don't stop or change your medicine on your own while you switch — talk to a clinician.
How do refills, cancellation, and refunds work?
Canceling future charges isn't the same as getting money back. Male Excel's terms generally make fees nonrefundable, with a conditional 90-day guarantee covering up to three months of membership fees. MangoRx's current TRT-specific refund and cancellation terms were not verified, so get those terms and the next-charge cutoff in writing before enrolling. 7 8
Male Excel
- No contract. Its pricing page says "Cancel Anytime," and its homepage says you can pause. Ask separately how to stop membership charges and prescription refills. 3 4
- Refill notices. Male Excel says it reminds you before each 60-day supply ends. Its FAQ describes a 48-hour window to act before billing in one refill scenario. Ask what deadline applies to you. 3 5
- Refunds. Its terms say sales are final and fees aren't refundable unless stated otherwise. Prescription medicine can't be returned. 5 7
- The guarantee. The offer covers up to $297 at three $99 membership payments—not medication—after 90 days of continuous participation if its conditions are met. You must contact customer service within 30 days after that period ends; attendance, following the clinician's plan, and supporting documentation matter. The company evaluates the claim. Read its guarantee terms; it is a refund policy, not proof that a medical result is guaranteed. 8
Full details: Male Excel cancellation policy.
MangoRx
- What if you're not prescribed? Mangoceuticals' August filing says its medical evaluation is provided at no charge, including when a customer doesn't qualify and no product ships. Confirm how that applies to the first charge for the exact TRT program you choose. 1
- Refunds and cancellation. We could not verify readable current TRT terms from its refund-policy page. Ask what is refundable before and after a prescription is sent to the pharmacy, the cancellation deadline, and whether membership and refill cancellation are separate. Do not assume rules for another treatment apply to TRT.
- Refills. MangoRx customer Paul Grimm wrote on Trustpilot, "They need to fix the site so you can get refills." His review was posted May 8, 2026, with February 3 listed as the experience date. That's one report, not a policy. It's still a fair question to ask. 20
Full details: MangoRx TRT reviews.
What do customer reviews say about each?
Reviews can tell you about billing, support, and shipping — not whether TRT will work for you. Male Excel's Trustpilot profile showed 6,577 reviews averaging 4.5 on September 28, 2026; MangoRx's showed 18 averaging 4.4 across products, not just TRT. Those are different samples, not a head-to-head test of care quality. 19 20
What stood out, and what each should make you ask:
| What reviewers raised | Original source and experience date | What to ask before you pay |
|---|---|---|
| Two billing schedules: medicine every two months, membership every month | Thomas, Male Excel Trustpilot; September 27, 2026 19 | "Send me my exact charge dates for the first 12 months." |
| Charges without advance notice; portal messages reportedly going unread | Alan, September 20, and David, September 17, 2026; separate Male Excel reviewers 19 | "How far ahead will I be told about a charge? How fast are messages answered?" |
| On-time refills with clear instructions | Charles David, Male Excel Trustpilot; September 20, 2026 19 | "How do refills work, and what's the cutoff to change or skip one?" |
| Refill process on the site needs work | Paul Grimm, MangoRx Trustpilot; February 3, 2026 experience, posted May 8 20 | "How do I request a refill? What happens if I still have medicine when the next charge comes?" |
Male Excel's own pricing page features this service-only quote from a patient named Dan: "Male Excel is more cost effective than many of the clinics around me and much more convenient." It's company-published, so read it that way. 3
We don't use reviews to show health results. A handful of stories can't tell you what testosterone will do for you. We did not verify whether these reviewers had any other material connection to the providers; the company-published quote is identified as such, not treated as independent price evidence.

Where do the numbers disagree?
The companies' documents and the competing pages we checked do not always tell the same story. This table separates a documented conflict from a current fact we could not confirm.
| Topic | What you may have read | What the primary source establishes | What we publish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where MangoRx treats | "39 of 51 states" in a competing review 21 | August 13 filing limits TRT sales to Florida and separately names PRIME 1 | Florida is the documented area; later expansion needs confirmation |
| MangoRx TRT price | $149/month in that review 21 | $99/month injectable announcement dated February 19, 2026 2 | Historical $99 model; current complete price unconfirmed; $149 only a clearly labeled scenario |
| PRIME availability | National-access language in older launch coverage | The August 2026 filing explicitly limits PRIME to Florida 1 | The dated PRIME-specific disclosure, not an assumption that the general statement excludes oral TRT |
| Male Excel's excluded states | Older lists naming nine states | Current FAQ names 11; D.C. is not specified 5 | 39 listed states, 11 excluded, D.C. unconfirmed; no unverified date of expansion or contraction |
| Male Excel's starting price | $99 per month | $99 required membership + medication starting at $120 or $132 3 | $219 or $231 monthly equivalents before extras |
| Male Excel's oral-pill price | $95 in one pricing-page section | $120 in another section of the same page 3 | A real page conflict to ask about; neither is a testosterone price |
| "Male Excel has oral TRT" | Its pricing page groups an oral option with TRT | Triclozene is a clomiphene blend, not testosterone 3 23 | Not TRT; the compounded blend is not FDA-approved |
| Thyroid in every Male Excel plan | Bundled price cards can imply universal use | Homepage says thyroid when needed or clinically appropriate 3 4 | Included in the advertised bundle, not proven mandatory for everyone |
| Kyzatrex boxed warning | Older coverage mentions a blood-pressure boxed warning | Removed in July 2025; blood-pressure warnings remain in the current label 9 | The current label, not "no risk" |
How did we compare Male Excel and MangoRx?
We checked Male Excel's published pricing and policies, MangoRx's dated SEC disclosures, current drug labeling, and clinical guidance, then did the math ourselves. We did not enroll with either company or verify MangoRx's current checkout terms. Our method is How We Review TRT Providers.
Our method, How We Review TRT Providers, keeps four kinds of information apart:
- Verified facts: confirmed in primary records — SEC filings, FDA labeling, DEA rules, clinical guidelines.
- Provider-stated facts: what each company says about itself. We date them.
- Customer-experience signals: reviews about billing, support, and refills. They never count as proof of medical results.
- Editorial conclusions: who each option fits, based on the facts above.
We don't give numeric scores. Being included isn't an endorsement.
What we could not verify: MangoRx's current checkout price and exact injectable product; its current full lab panel and follow-up schedule; the exact product approval status of Male Excel's assigned injection; either company's total shipping charges or all additional testing fees; and the clinician or pharmacy that would be assigned to you. We also didn't test support speed, checkout, cancellation, or records-release speed. Named pharmacies and provider-stated licensing are not the same as checking the license for your order. Ask for the prescriber's name and state license number, and the dispensing pharmacy's legal name and location, before treatment.

What happens to online TRT after December 31, 2026?
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance and requires a valid prescription. As of September 28, 2026, a temporary DEA and HHS rule allows DEA-registered practitioners to prescribe Schedule II–V medicines through qualifying audio-video telemedicine without a prior in-person examination, when the prescription and practice meet all applicable federal and state requirements. The extension runs through December 31, 2026. It is not permission to prescribe from a questionnaire alone, and it does not guarantee access in every state. What comes after depends on later federal action. 15 16 17
Male Excel's site already warns that, based on DEA and state laws, your plan "may require an in-person medical exam." Ask either company what happens to your care if the rules change, including where an exam could be arranged and who pays. 5 15
Male Excel vs MangoRx: what else should you know?
The answers below separate state access, product approval, and published price from individual clinical eligibility. A provider's listing or a paid consultation is not approval for a prescription.
Is MangoRx available in my state?
MangoRx's Form 10-Q filed August 13, 2026 says it is limiting TRT sales to Florida, with plans to expand, and separately says the same about PRIME. If you're outside Florida and MangoRx says it can treat you, get that in writing before paying. Male Excel's current FAQ lists 39 states by exclusion; D.C. is not resolved by that list. 1 5
Is MangoRx cheaper than Male Excel?
The February $99 injectable offer is cheaper on paper if it still applies for all 12 months: $1,188 versus Male Excel's $2,727 injection-bundle illustration, before extras. We did not confirm MangoRx's current complete price, and the offer does not price PRIME. A competing review's $149 claim is not a provider quote verified by us. 2 3 21
How much does Male Excel really cost per month?
From $219 for the published injection bundle or $231 for the cream bundle, before shipping and other applicable charges. That's the required $99 membership plus the advertised medicine price. There's also a $99 one-time consult with an at-home test to start. Your prescription and actual billing dates can change the total. 3 5 7
MangoRx vs Male Excel — which should I choose?
For a reader in a listed state who wants cream or injections with a published follow-up model, Male Excel is worth checking. In Florida, compare MangoRx's current injectable quote or its PRIME/Kyzatrex pathway. If you need insurance, a specific approved product and outside pharmacy, fertility care, or a first diagnosis, choose that care route before a subscription. 1 3 4 5 7 9 12
Is Kyzatrex better than testosterone cream?
Not for everyone — they're different. Kyzatrex is an FDA-approved oral product taken with food and requires blood-pressure and other monitoring. Male Excel's cream is compounded and can rub off on others. Which fits depends on you and your clinician. 9 10 24
Is Male Excel's testosterone FDA-approved?
The cream is compounded, so it isn't an FDA-approved product. Male Excel's homepage also describes U.S.-compounded testosterone generally, but we did not verify the exact injectable vial, manufacturer, or approval status you would receive. Ask for those details rather than assuming all testosterone cypionate is the same product. 4 5 10
Is MangoRx's announced $99 injectable FDA-approved?
We could not verify the currently dispensed injectable product or its approval status. Ask for the product name, maker, and dispensing pharmacy before paying. Kyzatrex's approval applies to that oral product, not to an unidentified injectable. 2 9 22
Does either take insurance?
Male Excel doesn't take insurance but says it's HSA/FSA eligible. We couldn't find a current MangoRx TRT insurance statement. 3 5 7
Why does Male Excel include a thyroid pill?
Its published testosterone price bundles include thyroid treatment, but the homepage says it is used when clinically appropriate. The desiccated thyroid described in its safety information is not an FDA-approved product. Ask what thyroid condition it treats in your case and what the plan costs without it. 3 4 11 24
Does Male Excel sell oral testosterone?
The oral option identified on its pricing page, Triclozene, contains clomiphene. That's not testosterone and not TRT. We did not verify an FDA-approved oral testosterone option in Male Excel's published treatment list. 3 5 23
Is MangoRx legit?
MangoRx is a real brand described in Mangoceuticals' SEC filings, which also describe a medical-provider network and pharmacy arrangements. That verifies a business record, not the credentials of your assigned clinician or the quality of your care. Its June financial figures and August-disclosed bid-price extension are covered above; neither alone settles whether it is the right provider for you. 1
Will either affect my fertility?
Testosterone from outside the body can lower sperm production, whether it's a pill, cream, or shot. If you want children soon, see a urologist or reproductive urologist before starting. 9 12
Do I need two blood tests first?
For a new diagnosis, the guidance requires compatible symptoms or signs and consistently low testosterone confirmed on separate early-morning tests; the Endocrine Society recommends fasting. The Kyzatrex label requires two low morning tests before starting. Ask each company how it confirms your diagnosis; existing patients need a clinician-led review of their records, not instructions from this page to stop treatment or repeat a baseline test on their own. 9 12 13
What happens if the clinician doesn't prescribe?
MangoRx's filing says its medical evaluation is free when a customer doesn't qualify. Male Excel's $99 consult buys the evaluation and test kit, and its terms say fees are generally non-refundable. Confirm the details with each before paying. 1 3 5 7
What is the bottom line?
Male Excel offers the clearer published state and follow-up information here; MangoRx needs a current, program-specific quote and access confirmation. Neither is an automatic choice before diagnosis, fertility plans, medication identity, and the full bill are clear. 1 3 4 5 9 12
State first. Then format. Then price.
If you're in one of Male Excel's 39 listed states, its published model starts at $219–$231 a month before extras, with one provider, 60-day check-ins, and six-month blood panels claimed by the company. Confirm the full diagnostic and safety-lab plan. Ask about the thyroid tablet and your injection's FDA status at your consult. 3 4 5
If you're in Florida, MangoRx's previously announced $99 injectable price is worth checking, and PRIME is the option here that names FDA-approved oral Kyzatrex. Get the exact drug, current program access, and separate checkout price in writing first. They are not the same offer. 1 2 9
If neither fits — or you're not sure TRT is your answer yet — that's not a dead end. It's a different first step.
