Talon Wellness TRT Cost (2026): What $65 a Month Really Adds Up To

Talon Wellness TRT cost for men is advertised at "as low as $65 a month," with labs and a consultation included. That's $780 annualized if the estimate holds. Talon does not publish a complete TRT fee schedule, so your full-year cost depends on your quote, testing, medication, shipping and supplies.

Best for: Comparing a Talon quote for medically evaluated low testosterone and injection care.

Not for you if: You need a confirmed $65 all-in price, still need a diagnosis, or want children soon.

So $65 is a real starting point, not a bill. Our comparison last verified September 2, 2026 recorded $74; Talon's current tile shows $65. Below, we turn Talon's one asterisked number into a 12-month cost model and quote worksheet. We list the unpriced line items we found. And we show you the one refill rule that can quietly add lab bills to your year.

TRT Provider Guide is the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy — helping U.S. adults understand how low testosterone is evaluated, compare online and local care models and providers, and choose the next step that fits their health needs, fertility plans, budget, state, and care preferences, with every material claim verified and dated.

Is Talon's price math even relevant to you yet?

Check these three boxes first:

  • ☐ A clinician has evaluated my symptoms or signs and confirmed consistently low testosterone with repeat early-morning blood tests; if I'm already on TRT, I have a clinician reviewing my ongoing care.
  • ☐ I'm OK with injections. Talon lists injectable testosterone cypionate for men.
  • ☐ I'm not trying to have a child in the near future.

All three checked? Keep reading. The math below is for you.

Missed one? The cheapest next step may be testing, a different treatment format, or a fertility-focused visit. It's the right first step for your situation. Start with TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool.

This page is educational information, not medical advice. It doesn't diagnose low testosterone or tell you whether to start, stop or change any medication.

The right TRT provider is not the same for every person — it depends on whether low testosterone has been properly evaluated, your symptoms and health history, your fertility plans, your state, your insurance or cash-pay preference, your treatment-format preference, your budget, and whether online or in-person care is the better starting point. Some situations belong with primary care, urology, endocrinology, reproductive urology, or urgent or emergency care when the symptoms warrant it. Because a general answer cannot resolve those for you, use TRT Provider Guide's Find My TRT Path tool to map your situation to the right care route and the questions to ask before you pay. The tool is educational. It doesn't diagnose low testosterone or decide whether you'll be prescribed anything.

How much does Talon Wellness TRT cost per month?

Talon Wellness advertises men's TRT at an estimated $65 a month, with labs and a consultation included. The footnote says this is an estimated monthly cost based on the average prescribed dose. Talon does not publish a fixed monthly price, a per-vial price, or a TRT billing schedule.

"As low as" carries a lot of weight here. Read it as an advertised estimate, not the price everyone pays.

Your cost depends on your prescription. A clinician sets your dose after reviewing your labs and health history. Your prescription affects how much medication you use; Talon's footnote does not explain exactly how that changes your bill.

Here's what Talon says the $65 covers, word for word from the price tile:

  • "Labs + Consultation included"
  • "Estimated monthly cost based on average prescribed dosage."

The public pages we checked do not provide a complete TRT fee schedule or an all-in quote. You get your real number by requesting a phone call and a written quote. Source: Talon's current offer and FAQ.

What about Talon's other prices? Talon also shows advertised estimates from $50/month for women's TRT and $95/month for GLP-1 weight-loss treatment. This page covers adult men's TRT only. Women's testosterone care follows different medical standards.

Did Talon's TRT price change?

Our comparison last verified September 2, 2026 recorded Talon at $74 a month; Talon's own page shows $65 on October 7. That's $9, about 12%, below the earlier recorded estimate. We did not locate an archived Talon tile that independently confirms the earlier offer or explains the difference.

Our earlier cost comparison is the source for the September record. Here's the history:

Talon Wellness cost table 2: Did Talon's TRT price change?

Stand-alone lab panel — Shown as "$155 ➜ $99" on one tile and "$99" on another
Advertised monthly estimate × 12 $888 $780

A lower advertised number is good news. It also supports our main point. These are estimates, not a price list.

Two takeaways:

  1. Get your quote in writing. Ask for the full price and terms in writing, not just a number on the phone.
  2. Read the lab "discount" carefully. We can verify the $99 price. We can't verify that anyone ever paid $155. A crossed-out price is marketing, not proof of savings.

Talon's website still labels its logo "Helix HRT." That label alone does not establish the business's legal history or the terms of an older Helix offer. If you have an older quote under that name, ask Talon for current prices and terms.

What does Talon's TRT price include, and what isn't priced?

Talon says labs and a consultation are included, and that lab work is required before any prescription. The pages we checked do not price follow-up labs, follow-up visits, syringes or shipping, or state a TRT billing schedule. Those blanks are where a "$65" plan can grow.

We call this the Talon cost receipt. Every row is a line item a real bill could include. We've marked each row by what we could check.

What the labels mean:

  • Published price or term — we verified the wording on Talon's own pages on October 7, 2026; we did not test how it works in practice.
  • Talon says — an inclusion or service claim we could not check independently.
  • Customer report — one person's public account, not a policy or verified purchase.
  • Not found — the public pages we checked did not answer it.

Prices and terms above come from Talon's offer and FAQ, refill form and terms. The historical vial report is linked in the next section.

Is Talon's $99 blood panel the same as the "included" labs?

Talon doesn't say. The $99 panel is advertised separately, for men and women, with 48 health markers. The TRT tile separately says labs are included.

Those could be the same test. They could be different. Don't add $99 to your budget just because the price exists, and don't assume it's free either. Ask.

Also ask where and how the blood is collected, whether recent outside results are accepted, and whether repeat early-morning testing before diagnosis is included. The checked pages do not settle those details. A lab panel is not the same thing as a complete diagnostic evaluation.

How often will you need labs, and who pays?

Talon's FAQ leaves the timing of ongoing lab testing to your prescribing provider. That's appropriate. Your clinician should decide.

But Talon's refill form adds a hard rule: "Lab work must be within 5 months for refills to be processed." It also asks you to allow one to two business days to process each refill. Shipping time is separate and isn't stated.

Here's why the 5-month rule matters for cost. A refill requested more than five months after your most recent blood draw needs newer results under the form's rule. That does not set a two-test limit or a month-six/month-eleven schedule. Your clinician sets the testing schedule, and Talon needs to confirm which tests are included or billed separately.

That's an unpriced line that can change your bill. The scenarios below show the effect of one or two separately charged panels; they do not predict how many tests you will need.

How much is a vial at Talon Wellness?

Talon doesn't publish a current per-vial price for TRT on the pages we checked. An older Reddit account reports $80 per 10 mL vial plus shipping. That's one customer's account, not a price list, so ask Talon for your per-vial price in writing.

Here's the price detail, in the commenter's words:

"$80 per vial plus $15 shipping" — u/BatmanVAR, original r/Testosterone comment (An older customer report checked October 7, 2026. We did not verify the purchase or the commenter's relationship to Talon.)

The commenter says they paid a $75 consultation charge and bought two vials for $175 including shipping. Buying two vials does not establish a two-vial order limit. Those older charges are not Talon's current quote.

Does Talon bill TRT by the vial? The current TRT billing model is not established. Talon's GLP-1 price tile spells its model out: it advertises per-vial payment without a membership or subscription. The TRT tile says none of that. The older Reddit report does not establish today's TRT fees or commitment. Ask which applies to you.

How to turn a per-vial price into a yearly cost:

Medication for the year = your per-vial price × the number of vials your written quote lists for 12 months.

Talon Wellness cost table 4: How much is a vial at Talon Wellness?
If your quote lists… Illustration at the older customer-reported $80 price
2 vials a year $160
4 vials a year $320
6 vials a year $480

How many vials you need is set by your prescription, not by us. This table is arithmetic, not a dosing guide.

What will Talon TRT cost for a full year?

If Talon's $65 estimate holds for 12 months with nothing extra, the annualized model is $780. If your quote adds one separately billed $99 panel, it becomes $879; two make it $978. Those are illustrations, not complete quotes: the follow-up panel price, shipping, supplies and any extra visit fees remain unconfirmed.

Talon Wellness cost table 5: What will Talon TRT cost for a full year?
Scenario Annualized subtotal before unresolved extras
Talon's $65 estimate holds for 12 months, nothing extra $780
Illustration only: one separately billed panel quoted at $99 $879
Illustration only: two separately billed panels quoted at $99 each $978
Earlier editorial record: $74 × 12, with no extras $888
Not priced in these illustrations Shipping, supplies, extra visits, other medications, repeat diagnostic testing, recurring fees or taxes if charged

Why $99 appears here. It is Talon's separately advertised panel price, not a verified follow-up lab price. Use those rows only if your written quote confirms that charge for the tests you need. If your follow-up labs are included, take those rows out. If they cost a different amount, swap in the real number.

Annual cost vs. the cash you actually pay

These are two different numbers, and mixing them up trips people up.

  • Annualized cost is the monthly figure × 12. That's the $780.
  • First-year cash is what actually leaves your account in the first 12 months.

If you buy vials that last several months, you might pay more upfront and less later. You might also prepay for months that fall in year two. Count the real charges and their dates, not the monthly average.

Your Talon first-year cost worksheet

Ask Talon for a written quote. Then fill this in. Start the 12 months on the date of your first payment, including any lab or consultation fee before treatment starts.

Mark each line as one of these:

  • Included — part of another line, so it costs $0 extra.
  • Extra — confirmed separate charge.
  • Optional — something you could skip.
  • Unknown — no answer yet.

An unknown is never $0. If any required line is still unknown, your total isn't finished yet.

Talon Wellness cost table 6: Your Talon first-year cost worksheet
# Line item Amount How many times in 12 months Total Status
1 First consultation $ $
2 First labs $ $
3 Any repeat test before diagnosis $ $
4 Medication (per vial or per order) $ $
5 Follow-up labs (including any needed for refill processing) $ $
6 Follow-up visits $ $
7 Syringes and supplies $ $
8 Shipping per order $ $
9 Any membership, admin or processing fee $ $
10 Any other prescribed medication $ $
11 Taxes, if charged $ $
12 Records or transfer fees, if needed $ $
Total cash for 12 months $

Two rules:

  • Count each charge once. If your first labs are included, don't add the $99 panel on top.
  • Keep optional extras separate from what's required.

One question that can lower your total: if you already have recent bloodwork, ask whether Talon accepts outside labs, and which tests it needs. Talon's public pages don't say. Buyers asking about Talon's costs on Reddit raised the same question.

For a side-by-side version that compares Talon with an insurance route or a local clinic, use our TRT Total Cost Worksheet.

The one tradeoff to know before you call

Talon does not publish a full fee schedule, and it doesn't refund services once they're rendered. If knowing every dollar before you pay is your top priority, get a complete written quote before committing. Vyta publishes a bundled monthly price; Cost Plus TRT and TRT Nation publish components you can use to build a budget. See below, and note Vyta is in only three states.

But Talon's advertised path still works out to about $780 a year if the estimate holds. That is a reason for a price-first buyer who's already diagnosed to ask for a quote. Whether it beats another clinic depends on the complete bill and the care each includes; the low headline alone does not settle it.

What we actually verified

Dates checked: October 7, 2026 for the current public sources from Talon, Male Excel, Hone Health, Vyta, Cost Plus TRT and TRT Nation. The earlier $74 Talon figure comes from our comparison marked last verified September 2, 2026.

What we read:

  • Talon's homepage price tiles and FAQ
  • Its Men's Health page
  • Its Terms & Conditions (last updated January 21, 2026)
  • Its refill request form and intake consent form
  • Male Excel's TRT and pricing pages
  • Hone Health's cost page, plan-specific Plus help page, lab schedule and cancellation policy
  • Vyta, Cost Plus TRT and TRT Nation's current program, pricing and availability pages
  • DEA, HHS, FDA, Endocrine Society and AUA/ASRM guidance, and current prescribing information

Confirmed on Talon's pages:

  • The $65 price tile and its footnote
  • The $99 lab panel
  • The 5-month refill-lab rule and the 1–2 business-day processing note
  • The payment, refund and appointment terms
  • The GLP-1 per-vial payment wording
  • The call-recording consent
  • That the checked pages do not establish insurance billing or HSA/FSA acceptance

Talon says, but we couldn't independently confirm:

  • Labs and consultation are included
  • It serves all 50 states

Customer-reported: An older account of $80 per vial plus shipping, not a current price or order limit.

Still unknown:

  • Follow-up lab prices, collection process and the cost of any repeat diagnostic test
  • Shipping, supplies and visit fees
  • Billing schedule, recurring charges, minimum commitment and cancellation process
  • Whether you get a refund if you're not prescribed
  • Insurance and HSA/FSA acceptance
  • Whether your testosterone would be FDA-approved or compounded
  • Your assigned clinician, state-specific prescribing authority, dispensing pharmacy license and wait time

What we didn't do: We didn't sign up, enter checkout, contact support, pay, or receive care. We did not verify individual clinician or pharmacy licenses. This is a public-source cost guide, not a hands-on review.

Our method is How We Review TRT Providers. We separate verified facts, provider-stated facts, customer reports and our own conclusions. We calculate confirmed charges and show what is still needed for a complete cost.

Does Talon Wellness take insurance, HSA or FSA?

The public sources we checked do not establish Talon's insurance billing or HSA/FSA acceptance. Ask Talon for its billing policy and an itemized receipt, then check any reimbursement with your plan. If your insurance covers testosterone treatment, a local insurance-billing clinician may cost less than a cash-pay program.

Talon's privacy policy mentions insurance companies, but that wording is not an insurance-acceptance policy.

For comparison:

  • Male Excel says it doesn't accept insurance, but treatment is HSA and FSA eligible. Source: Male Excel.
  • Hone Health says it doesn't accept insurance, but accepts HSA and FSA cards. Source: Hone Health.

Provider acceptance does not guarantee that your plan will reimburse every charge.

When insurance can win. Ask your plan what it covers and what proof it needs:

  • Which symptoms, diagnosis and laboratory records it requires
  • Whether it requires two separate morning blood tests and other testing
  • Whether it requires prior authorization (your insurer's approval before it pays)
  • Which exact FDA-approved testosterone products, compounded preparations, visits and labs it covers

If you meet your plan's rules, a covered injection plus covered visits and labs can beat a cash program. Your deductible, copays and pharmacy decide by how much.

Run both routes through our TRT Total Cost Worksheet before you pick. Our online vs. local TRT guide walks through the tradeoffs.

What if you pay and Talon doesn't prescribe?

Talon's terms say payment is due in full at purchase unless otherwise stated, and that there are no refunds once services have been rendered. The terms don't define "rendered," and they don't say what you get back if a clinician decides not to prescribe. Get that answer in writing before you share a card.

This risk is real, not theoretical. Talon says a prescription depends on medical need and clinical judgment. That's how it should be. It also means a prescription is never guaranteed.

Here's what Talon's published terms, intake consent and privacy policy say:

Talon Wellness cost table 7: What if you pay and Talon doesn't prescribe?
Term What Talon's documents say Source
Payment Full payment required at purchase, unless a different arrangement is stated Terms §6
Refunds No refund for services already provided Terms §7
Appointment changes At least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule Terms §7
Program commitment or subscription Not stated for TRT —
Call recording You must consent to recording of "all current and future telephone calls." If you decline or withdraw consent, Talon "will not continue providing treatment through its program." Intake form
Your records You can request copies of existing records by email. The privacy policy says a "reasonable fee" may apply for copies. Intake form; Privacy Policy

Two of these matter more than they look:

  • The 24-hour rule is about appointments, not your treatment. It does not tell you how to cancel future orders or recurring charges. Confirm the cancellation process, deadline and any remaining payment obligation before you pay.
  • The recording consent is a condition of care. If you don't want your calls recorded, Talon isn't the right fit, whatever the price.

How Talon compares if you're declined or leave early:

Talon Wellness cost table 8: What if you pay and Talon doesn't prescribe?
Provider If declined after paying Gross-payment examples after three membership payments; not a final exit bill
Talon Wellness Not stated; no refunds once services are rendered Not established. Confirm future charges, any commitment and outstanding payment obligations.
Male Excel $99 start fee paid; ask which refund terms apply if treatment is declined. Prescription sales are final. $636 with one modeled $240 medication order, or $876 with two, before shipping or any applicable refund
Hone Health Plus Testing cost depends on what was ordered. Hone says the initial $135 membership fee is refunded if its physician declines treatment after the first consultation. $579–$584 with at-lab confirmation and three $28 vials, or $614 with at-home confirmation; illustrative purchases only

Male Excel examples: $99 start + 3 × $99 membership + either 1 or 2 × $240 medication payments. Hone Plus examples: $45 initial test + $45 or $50 at-lab confirmation (its pages disagree) + 3 × $135 membership + 3 × $28 vials; at-home confirmation is $80. These are payment examples, not evidence of how many vials you need or your final cancellation balance.

The cancellation steps matter too:

  • Male Excel advertises no contract and cancellation at any time, but its terms authorize recurring billing and prescription sales are final. Its homepage also advertises a conditional 90-day membership-fee guarantee, not a refund of all treatment costs. Ask about the cancellation deadline, pending orders and any applicable refund. FAQ · Terms · Membership guarantee
  • Hone records membership cancellation when you submit its cancellation form, with 1–2 business days for processing. It does not offer partial-month refunds; charges after the recorded cancellation are refundable. Canceling membership does not cancel pending prescriptions, and canceling medication does not cancel membership. Processed or shipped medication orders cannot be canceled or refunded; lab kit fees are nonrefundable once shipped. Cancellation policy

Confirm both the membership and medication-order status before you assume billing has stopped. Changes to medical treatment belong with your clinician.

Talon also advertises in-office visits by phone request and lists its address in Henderson, Nevada. That mainly helps if you can travel to the Las Vegas area. Ask about appointment availability and any separate visit price. Source: Talon's office and contact details.

Why does Talon's advertised price look cheaper than other online TRT clinics?

Talon shows a dose-based estimate without a complete TRT fee schedule, while Male Excel and Hone Plus list membership and medication separately. That makes the headline figures different kinds of numbers, not proof of savings. Talon's checked pages also do not identify your prescriber or establish whether your testosterone would be FDA-approved or compounded.

Male Excel and Hone Plus each charge two things:

  1. A membership for clinician access and follow-up.
  2. Medication on top.

Talon's TRT tile does not say whether any membership or other recurring fee applies. Its GLP-1/GIP offer is a separate program. Talon's offer · Male Excel pricing · Hone Plus pricing

The product question matters too. Talon lists testosterone cypionate, usually given as an injection into muscle, for men. It names three pharmacies in its FAQ:

All three describe compounding services on their own sites. But Talon doesn't say whether your prescription would be an FDA-approved manufactured product or a compounded one. Sources: Talon's pharmacy FAQ and Men's Health page.

Here's the difference in plain words:

  • FDA-approved means the FDA reviewed the drug's safety, effectiveness and manufacturing before it was sold.
  • Compounded drugs are prepared by combining, mixing or changing ingredients to meet a patient's needs. The FDA says compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and they don't get the FDA's premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality.

Compounding can be appropriate when an FDA-approved drug cannot meet a patient's medical needs, and it must meet applicable legal requirements. But you should know which one you're paying for before you compare prices.

Ask for these in writing:

  • The exact product name
  • Who makes or compounds it
  • The strength and vial size
  • Which pharmacy fills it
  • Whether it's FDA-approved or compounded

What do the pharmacy records show?

FDA records add a reason to ask for the exact pharmacy location and product, not just a company name. They concern specific facilities and dates; they do not establish that a Talon patient's prescription is defective.

  • Partell: FDA's 2019 warning to One Way Drug LLC, doing business as Partell Specialty Pharmacy, described problems at its Las Vegas facilities, including sterile-compounding concerns. FDA closed that warning on June 16, 2020 after finding that the cited violations appeared adequately addressed. Both the warning and its resolution matter. 2019 warning · 2020 closeout
  • AnazaoHealth: FDA issued a 2021 warning about adverse-event reporting at its Las Vegas facility. A later inspection report dated August 8, 2025 records observations about production controls, contamination prevention and complaint investigations. Inspection observations are not a final FDA compliance ruling. These records concern Las Vegas; Talon's FAQ lists AnazaoHealth's Tampa contact. 2021 warning · 2025 inspection report

Ask which facility would prepare and dispense your prescription, and check that pharmacy's current license for your state. A pharmacy name or an FDA registration is not product approval.

Does Talon serve your state, and who will prescribe?

Talon advertises service in all 50 states. That is a provider-stated coverage claim, not our verification that a particular clinician and pharmacy can serve every patient.

The pages we checked did not provide a state-by-state prescriber roster, your assigned clinician, a consultation wait time or a support-response guarantee. Talon publishes phone and text contact options, but we did not test its support. Ask who will prescribe, their credentials, whether they are authorized to treat you in the state where you will be during the visit, and whether any in-person visit is required. Talon's coverage and contact information · HHS guidance on care across state lines

If you travel or move, confirm that your care and dispensing arrangements can continue before your next refill. The 1–2 business-day refill-processing note is not a medication-delivery guarantee.

Talon Wellness vs. Male Excel vs. Hone Health: which costs less in year one?

Talon's $780 annualized estimate does not establish which provider costs less for your full year. Male Excel's starting-price model is $2,727 before shipping; an illustrative Hone Plus model is $2,046–$2,051 with at-lab confirmation and twelve $28 vials. The table shows the assumptions, included care and unanswered costs you need to compare.

Talon, Male Excel and Hone prices and published coverage checked October 7, 2026. Provider-stated inclusions describe the advertised service, not care we tested. Sources: Talon, Male Excel pricing, Male Excel care, Hone Plus and Hone Plus testing.

How we got those totals:

  • Male Excel: $99 start + 12 × $99 membership + six modeled $240 medication payments = $2,727, before shipping and other extras.
  • Hone Plus: $45 initial test + $45 at-lab confirmation + 12 × $135 membership + 12 purchased $28 vials = $2,046. Using the lab-schedule page's $50 confirmation price makes $2,051; $80 at-home confirmation makes $2,081.

Two calendar traps:

  • Male Excel says medication is billed every other month but describes a 60-day supply. Six supplies cover 360 days. If seven $240 medication charges fall between your first program-related payment and its twelve-month anniversary, adding the $99 start fee and twelve $99 membership payments gives $2,967 before extras. Confirm the actual charge dates; this is a billing-calendar illustration, not a claim that Male Excel charges everyone seven times.
  • Hone's membership and medication billing run separately. Twelve vials is an illustrative purchase count, not a dosing recommendation or proof of a year's supply. Hone's billing explanation

For both, use the actual charge dates from the first payment through the next twelve months in your worksheet. The price models do not establish that one plan is cheaper for your prescription.

Talon vs. Male Excel: what does the membership buy?

A full Talon quote is needed before you can calculate the difference. Here's what Male Excel's membership advertises, according to its own pages:

  • Named medical leadership: Chief Medical Officer Peter Fotinos, MD, and Medical Director Lorna Brudie, DO, listed by Excel Medical
  • A dedicated provider, with unlimited provider e-visits and support-team messaging
  • Check-ins every 60 days
  • A choice of injections or cream

Know these before you pay:

  • Male Excel describes its testosterone offerings as U.S.-compounded and identifies its Lipoderm cream as compounded. Confirm the exact product in your quote.
  • Its starting bundles include thyroid tablets. Ask why thyroid medication would be right for you.
  • Its TRT page says it treats "based on symptoms" rather than relying only on lab numbers. Symptoms alone do not establish testosterone deficiency. Ask how it confirms consistently low testosterone with repeat morning testing.
  • Prescription sales are final. Its terms also say prescriptions are filled by contracted pharmacies rather than sent to a pharmacy you choose.
  • It says it treats patients in 39 states and doesn't serve Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire or Rhode Island. Current state list

If named medical leadership and check-ins every 60 days matter to you, review Male Excel's full cost breakdown and state limits →

Talon vs. Hone Health: when is paying more for labs worth it?

Hone Plus publishes more of its testing costs than Talon, but the full price difference needs complete quotes. What Hone publishes for Plus:

  • Confirmation testing upfront for TRT, charged separately before treatment
  • Scheduled follow-up labs and consults inside the membership, with any extra testing needs to be confirmed
  • Medication billed separately at a published starting price
  • More formats: injections, plus compounded cream and troches

Hone says Plus serves 35 states; availability differs by plan. Its medication prices depend on the prescription and purchased quantity. State availability

The $45 initial test and $45-or-$50 at-lab confirmation prices above come from Plus documents updated September 29, 2026. The $65-plus-$25 test combination belongs to Hone's Premium plan, which has a $155 membership; it should not be mixed with Plus. Ask Hone to resolve the confirmation charge before paying.

If you want more published prices to build your budget

Talon's $65 is an estimate. These clinics publish bundles or price components that can help if Talon's unanswered fees are a dealbreaker for you. We rechecked their own pages on October 7, 2026; the calculations below do not establish a cheapest provider or your final bill.

Talon Wellness cost table 10: If you want more published prices to build your budget
Clinic Published-price calculation The catch
Vyta Home Delivery $1,308 = 12 × $109 Provider-stated bundle includes medication, labs, visits, supplies and delivery. Florida, Michigan and Ohio only; home-delivery testosterone is compounded. Confirm your quote and payment dates.
Cost Plus TRT (new patient) $1,428 = 12 × $119, annualized base program $297.50 upfront covers 2.5 months and is not an extra setup fee. Initial and 10-week labs included; later labs and some prescription changes can cost extra. Provider says 16 states.
TRT Nation $1,586.88, about $1,587 = 12 × $99.99 + 3 × $129 labs Annualized program-and-three-panel model. Purchases cover at least 2.5 months, so cash paid can differ; California pricing may vary. Excludes six states.

Sources: Vyta program, Cost Plus TRT program and pricing conditions, TRT Nation program, lab FAQ and current state exclusions.

Cost Plus TRT lists Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington. TRT Nation excludes Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri, North Dakota and Hawaii and says it treats patients age 24 and older. Cost Plus coverage · TRT Nation eligibility

For TRT Nation, five 2.5-month purchases would cover 12.5 months. At the advertised equivalent rate, five such purchases plus three $129 panels would be about $1,637 in cash, before extras. That is a conditional purchase model, not a verified renewal calendar; your test schedule and actual charge dates control the bill.

Who should pay for Talon, and who should spend their money elsewhere?

Talon is worth a quote if your low testosterone has been properly evaluated, you're comfortable with injections, and its written total fits your budget. The tradeoff is an incomplete public fee schedule and no refund for services already rendered. Start with testing, fertility-focused care, an insurance-billing clinician or another care model if that better fits what you need.

One more thing to know. Talon's Men's Health page lists more than testosterone. Its additional service-menu text lists nandrolone, oxandrolone, stanozolol, HGH and MK-677. Under our method, a menu like that is a performance-oriented signal worth knowing about. It doesn't say anything, on its own, about the care any one patient receives. These listings are not proof of current availability or inclusion in the $65 TRT offer. MK-677, also called ibutamoren, is not FDA-approved. Talon's menu · FDA information on ibutamoren

What should you ask Talon before you pay?

Get seven sets of answers in writing: medication and billing, charges before a prescription decision, refunds and cancellation, testing, shipping and supplies, insurance and HSA/FSA, and your clinician and pharmacy. Together, they give you the pieces for a real 12-month total. Don't treat an unanswered required charge as free.

Copy these. Text or email them to Talon. Save the reply.

  1. What's my price per vial, and how many vials can I order at once? Is that the whole medication cost? Do I pay per order, monthly, or both? List any recurring fees and the expected charge dates for the next 12 months.
  2. What's charged before your clinician decides whether to prescribe? Which labs and consultations are included, and what is charged separately?
  3. If I pay and you don't prescribe, what do I get back? Is there a minimum commitment? How do I cancel future visits, orders and recurring charges, and what is the deadline? What do records or a transfer cost?
  4. How often will I need follow-up labs, and what does each cost? How does the 5-month results rule affect refills? Where and how are samples collected? Is repeat early-morning testing before diagnosis included? Do you accept recent outside labs?
  5. Are syringes, supplies and shipping included? If not, what's the cost per order? When should I request a refill, how long does delivery take, and are taxes or processing fees added?
  6. Do you bill insurance? Can I pay with HSA or FSA and get an itemized receipt?
  7. Who will prescribe for me, and are they licensed or otherwise authorized to treat me in my state? What are their credentials and appointment availability? Will I ever need an in-person visit? Is my testosterone FDA-approved or compounded, and which pharmacy and location fill it? How do I reach clinical support, and how are fertility concerns handled?

Online TRT can be legal with a valid prescription from a clinician authorized to treat you where you are. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance; the current federal extension permits qualifying video prescribing without a prior in-person visit through December 31, 2026, subject to federal and state rules. A low price doesn't lower the medical standard or prove that care is safe for you.

Schedule III is the federal category for drugs with accepted medical uses and some potential for misuse (DEA). Buying testosterone without a prescription is illegal. There's no loophole.

What the federal rule allows now. The DEA and HHS extended temporary telemedicine rules through December 31, 2026 (DEA). Under them, a DEA-registered clinician can prescribe testosterone after a qualifying audio-video visit, without seeing you in person first.

Federal and state rules still apply, including prescribing for a legitimate medical purpose within professional practice and the clinician's registration requirements. The current federal rule expires at the end of December 31, 2026. Ask Talon what happens to your care if an in-person visit becomes required.

What a proper diagnosis looks like. The Endocrine Society says low testosterone should be diagnosed only when two things are true:

  • You have symptoms or signs.
  • Repeat early-morning blood tests are consistently low. The Endocrine Society recommends morning fasting measurements.

One low result, or a quiz, isn't a diagnosis. Nor does a single cutoff, such as 300 ng/dL, decide the diagnosis for everyone. A clinician must interpret reliable tests alongside symptoms or signs and investigate the cause. Once treatment starts, guidelines call for regular monitoring. That monitoring is exactly the lab line Talon doesn't price. Current Endocrine Society statement

Testosterone can raise blood pressure and red blood cell levels. Untreated severe sleep apnea, a recent heart attack or stroke, elevated red blood cell levels, or prostate concerns can change whether treatment is appropriate and what care is needed. Start with primary care, urology or endocrinology for that assessment. FDA safety information · Endocrine Society guidance

If you want children. Testosterone from outside the body can lower sperm production. The timing and extent of sperm recovery vary; sperm counts may remain low during follow-up. Research on sperm recovery after testosterone use The Endocrine Society recommends against starting testosterone in men planning fertility in the near term. Talk to a urologist or reproductive urologist first. Our TRT and fertility guide explains the options. Some, like hCG or clomiphene, are not TRT.

  • Clomiphene: Use of an FDA-approved clomiphene product in men is off-label, meaning that use is outside its approved indication. Compounded clomiphene is not an FDA-approved product. AUA/ASRM guidance · FDA on compounded drugs
  • hCG: Pregnyl, an hCG product, is approved for selected cases of male hypogonadotropic hypogonadism—low testosterone caused by inadequate hormone signals from the pituitary gland. That is not approval of every hCG use or a guarantee of fertility during TRT. Pregnyl prescribing information

The checked Talon pages do not establish a fertility-assessment protocol, specialist referral process or the cost of such care. Get those answers before treating fertility as an add-on to a low-price plan.

How we priced Talon Wellness TRT

We read Talon's own price tiles, FAQ, terms, refill form and intake form on October 7, 2026. We compared them with the September record in our earlier cost comparison, then separated annualized price models from actual payment schedules. We didn't sign up, pay, or receive care, and we did not ask Talon to approve this article.

What we did:

  1. Captured Talon's current men's TRT tile, footnote and lab panel price.
  2. Compared the current offer with the $74 figure recorded in our cost comparison, marked last verified September 2, 2026.
  3. Read Talon's Terms (sections 6–7), its refill form, its intake consent and its privacy policy for anything that changes what you pay or what you get back.
  4. Separated published prices and terms, provider-stated inclusions, customer reports, missing information and our own conclusions.
  5. Calculated scenarios from published prices and clearly stated hypothetical purchase counts. Unknown lines stay unknown, never $0.
  6. Checked Male Excel, Hone Plus, Vyta, Cost Plus TRT and TRT Nation against their own current pages, keeping plan differences and unresolved costs visible.
  7. Checked legal and medical claims against the DEA, HHS, FDA, Endocrine Society, AUA/ASRM guidance and prescribing information.

Our full method is How We Review TRT Providers. We don't give providers made-up scores. Spot something out of date? Tell us here. Our editorial standards explain how TRT Provider Guide works as the independent decision resource for testosterone replacement therapy care. Read our privacy policy before sharing information with the site.

When to recheck:

  • Before paying or renewing, confirm Talon's price, included tests, terms and payment dates against your written quote.
  • Before December 31, 2026, confirm the rules and care arrangements that will apply after the current federal telemedicine extension expires.

Talon Wellness TRT cost FAQ

These answers separate Talon's advertised offer from the costs and terms that still need a personal quote. The current public sources were checked October 7, 2026.

How much is Talon Wellness TRT per month?

Talon advertises an estimated $65 a month for men's TRT, including labs and a consultation. Talon says that's an estimate based on the average prescribed dose. Your price depends on your prescription.

How much does Talon charge per vial?

Talon doesn't publish a current per-vial price on the pages we checked. An older customer account reports $80 per 10 mL vial plus shipping, but it does not establish a two-vial order limit. Ask Talon for your price in writing.

Does Talon Wellness include bloodwork?

Talon advertises labs as included and requires lab work before any prescription. It does not define the number of included tests or whether repeat diagnostic testing is included. Refills need results from within the past 5 months; the checked pages do not price later tests.

How much is Talon's blood panel?

Talon advertises a 48-marker panel for $99. One tile shows it marked down from $155. Talon doesn't say whether it's the same as the labs included with TRT.

Is there a membership fee at Talon Wellness?

Talon doesn't advertise a membership for TRT. Its GLP-1 tile advertises no membership or subscription, but the TRT tile doesn't say either way. Ask whether any recurring charge applies.

Does Talon Wellness take insurance?

Talon's public pages do not establish its insurance billing or network participation. Privacy-policy references to insurance are not proof of acceptance. If your insurance covers testosterone, a local insurance-billing clinician may cost less.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds at Talon?

Talon doesn't say. Ask for an itemized receipt and check with your HSA or FSA administrator.

Does Talon Wellness give refunds?

Talon's terms say there are no refunds once services have been rendered. They don't say what happens if you pay and aren't prescribed, so ask before you pay.

Why does our earlier Talon record say $74 instead of $65?

Our earlier comparison recorded $74; Talon's current homepage shows $65. We did not locate an archived Talon offer or official explanation that confirms why the figures differ. That's why your written quote matters more than the ad.

Is Talon cheaper than Male Excel or Hone Health?

That cannot be settled from the public prices alone. Talon's $780 annualized estimate has unpriced items. Male Excel's $2,727 starting-price model and Hone Plus's $2,046–$2,051 illustration use specific payment and purchase assumptions; compare full quotes for the same care needs.

Is Talon's testosterone FDA-approved or compounded?

Talon doesn't say. The three pharmacies it names describe compounding services. Compounded drugs aren't FDA-approved, so ask which product you'd get.

Was Helix HRT priced the same as Talon?

Talon's site still labels a logo "Helix HRT," but that does not verify legal continuity or an older price. We don't have a dated Helix price record, so we can't confirm older Helix prices.

Does the $65 offer include two morning testosterone tests?

The public offer does not say. Proper evaluation needs symptoms or signs plus consistently low results with appropriate repeat early-morning testing; the Endocrine Society recommends fasting measurements. Ask Talon what it includes before paying for the advertised panel.

Can I cancel Talon TRT at any time?

The checked terms require 24 hours' notice for appointment changes and do not refund services already rendered. They do not establish a TRT-specific commitment, renewal or cancellation process. Ask separately how to stop future orders and charges and obtain your records.

Does Talon provide TRT in my state?

Talon advertises all 50 states. Confirm your assigned clinician's authority to treat you where you are, the dispensing pharmacy's state access and any in-person requirement before paying; the banner alone does not settle those questions.

What if I want children soon?

Talk to a urologist or reproductive urologist before choosing a TRT program. Testosterone can suppress sperm production. Recovery varies, and sperm counts may remain low during follow-up. A low price or an added medication is not a fertility-preservation promise.

How much is Talon's women's TRT or GLP-1 program?

Talon advertises estimates from $50/month for women's TRT and $95/month for GLP-1 treatment. Both are estimates. This page covers men's TRT only.

This page is educational information, not medical advice. It doesn't diagnose low testosterone or tell you whether to start, stop or change any medication. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, or sudden swelling in one leg, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
